Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours
We ask Father God, for Your will to be done in the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Thank You the blessings You have provided and the blessings our eyes have not beheld. Amen.
What God has done for us - broken Himself to give us blessings. Jesus chose to be our Savior, for us. We live having gratitude for what God lived out and died for us.
And there followed him a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting for him.
We are 2 millenniums past Jesus giving us all of God's promises and changing Heaven forever. And His atonement changes our lives forever. Today and to eternity.
How often I pictured Jesus dying like "Godspell" with just a few sympathizers. Here we read, the truth, a great multitude of people Mourned for Jesus. These are the people in the Book of Acts who filled the Temple. They are referred to as a multitude again.
And at this sound the multitude came together,
and they were bewildered, because each one was hearing them speak in his own language.
Acts 5:12 -15
Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon's Portico. 13 None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem.
14 And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, 15 so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them.
Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision!
For the day of the LORD is near, in the valley of decision.
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
Our eyes will see this Glory.
Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Be silent before the Sovereign LORD, for the day of the LORD is near. The LORD has prepared a sacrifice; he has consecrated those he has invited.
Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Thank You, Jesus Christ Our LORD.
