Reading Scripture helps us know God's Love. Every Bible verse is written for you. Jesus Christ is all mankind's Light. John 1!

Psalm 148 ~ Praise the Lord!

Psalm 148

Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
praise Him in the heights!
2 Praise Him, all His angels;
praise Him, all His hosts!
3 Praise Him, sun and moon,
praise Him, all you shining stars!
4 Praise Him, you highest heavens,
and you waters above the heavens!

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord!
For He commanded and they were created.
6 And He established them forever and ever;
He gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.

7 Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all deeps,
8 fire and hail, snow and mist,
    stormy wind fulfilling His word!

9 Mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars!
10 Beasts and all livestock,
creeping things and flying birds!

11 Kings of the earth and all peoples,
princes and all rulers of the earth!
12 Young men and maidens together,
old men and children!

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for His name alone is exalted;
His majesty is above earth and heaven.
14 He has raised up a horn for His people,
praise for all His saints,
for the people of Israel who are near to Him.
Praise the Lord!

Matthew 2:13-15 ~ he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt

Holy Family painted by Esteban Perez Murillo

Matthew 2:13-15

13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”

14 And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt 15 and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

Psalm 67

May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face to shine upon us, Selah
2 that your way may be known on earth,
your saving power among all nations.

3 Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you!

4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,
for you judge the peoples with equity
and guide the nations upon earth. Selah

5 Let the peoples praise you, O God;
let all the peoples praise you!

6 The earth has yielded its increase;
God, our God, shall bless us.

7 God shall bless us;
let all the ends of the earth fear him!

1 Thessalonians 4

9 Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another, 10 for that indeed is what you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia.

But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more, 11 and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, 12 so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.

We have been thinking about Father God as a Father.

Joseph, the father of Jesus, was chosen with care. One of the children Joseph and Mary was named after his father - Joseph, The Gospel of Matthew tells us. This isn't necessarily something the Jewish community did - regularly - when you think of the list of Jesus' ancestry. We mention this a lot, but two mentions in the Gospels said their small community saw Jesus and his brothers and sister as completely blended. Joseph was quite a man like Abraham - to do - to act - upon what God would have him do.

God was offering his small son to the Nations. Jesus was kept safe by God and Joseph. Relying upon God caused endurance, character, hope and God's Plan to go forth. These were men who were content to do the best they could do with what was given to them.

No frills for King Joseph of David's line. Don't we all have people we truly admire. Who have brought blessings by doing what was needed. We are so hooked on the news, we have forgotten to be grateful to the grandparents and the parent - the friends who have given a path of reliability. I can think of three women I know who have no idea of the path that their wake creates strength for all those who know them. Unsung. Well, sometimes. Their Light will shine on in generations unborn for the Light of Jesus.

Goodness is rarely applauded. Where is our Appreciate Joseph Day? God was appreciating Joseph. I bet Joseph had enough wisdom to appreciate that. They had a family tradition to know the Word of God. God offers up repeats to teach us.

Kind King Joseph was walking in the same path as Visor Joseph. Visor Joseph had more than an inkling of God's plans. Joseph had annoyed his brothers with dreams. Joseph was left to hope for the years he languished in prison. Glory was coming. Joseph went on to be patient for God's rescue to rise to become one of the most influential men living in the world.

Uncrowned King Joseph, the father of Jesus, was patient and knew God's rescue was happening for the Son of God. No Frills Joseph had no expectation of Glory like the Visor of Egypt. Joseph was making family. And in this small task, Joseph was working with the three most living influential people on earth. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Who are we? We are the people of God. God dwells within us. We work daily with the Holy Spirit. We really do have expectations of Glory.

When you think of Joseph, Visor of Egypt, we realize not even Joseph named children after himself. Yet God does. God remembers and knows and lives with Joseph.

Jesus knew people who were so in love with God they did aspire to live quietly, and to mind their own affairs, and to work with their hands on what God would give them to do.

Ecclesiastes 2:24
A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God

God was making a Statement.

And Important Statement of God. God was, indeed, offering his small son to the Nations. Jesus was kept safe in another culture. Jesus could be claimed by being part of Egypt. God had influenced other nations before. Pharaoh Amenhotep IV had risked all to convert Egypt to the belief that God was One God. Other nations, even Rome, experienced assassinations. On a statue of Amenhotep III at Kom el Hetan - Amenhotep’s funeral statue has a base and on the base of the statue is "Joseph-el". Joseph of God. Referring to Joseph who predicted the huge famine, and became Visor to Pharaoh. Joseph Messenger of God.

Amenhopt III has a mortuary palace in Kom el Hetan where it was only discovered in 2009. The papyrus at the bases of the statues have provided interesting clues to Joseph. It was the next generation of Pharaoh's to become determined to have Egypt only worship One God. The site is on going and currently not open to the public.

The papyrus mentioning Joseph at the base of the Pharaoh statue is dates the Exodus about 1447-1446 B.C. which also connects when the words Joseph, Israel, Goshen, Yahweh appear in tax records and official Egyptian documents, census and tax records.

The point for today is - it was the next Pharaoh's generation who watched as the adults went about every day and then that generation fought for Egypt to be under One God. And this makes our lives not important just to our piers, but also to the next generations. The people of God create works of God that He will want to bring forth again.

My mother in-law is adored by her grandchildren and influenced by her love. My mother has recently found a new ministry -to call upon her friends in the hospitals. What we do with our lives - not only are people being touched and warmed by our lives - the next generation wants to see that we care more than we talk.

And our life is very observed by God. He remembered Joseph so much, Jesus has repeated what Joseph did for the Lord, even when he could have stopped sooner.

Ezekiel 37

Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. 22 And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms.

23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will Save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them;
and they shall be my people,
and I will be their God.

24 “My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd.

Father God, You are our Shepherd. Guide us and lead us down the unique path you have for all of us using our talents and abilities. You alone are God and let us be centered on You. In Jesus. Amen.

God Is

God is mentioned in the Scripture only 1481 times. And that is Good News. Each verse of the Bible witnessing - God is Love. The multitude and vastness of His attributes.

The Bible was written for you.

In fact, the phrase "God is" is used 1481 times.

To tell us exactly who and why the Great Our Father wants to reach out to you.

Father God draws us to Him in unique ways. Even when people answer with the awe shucks version of - "I was raised a Christian and I guess I always knew God was God." If they were hard pressed to sit down and think of their first "I want to be there moment" - you'd probably find something of heart warming value. If this unique event was explained to Norman Rockwell  - that moment would fully be understood and beautifully appreciated. And for the more techi people - a really good sort of "When Harry met Sally" video except ...on a Grander Scale.

So Father God draws us in - in moments - a child is born. When we are so young - doorknobs are far up - when spring is very green - Birthdays make magic. A  grandparent goes Home to Great Reward - to be cherished and loved. Love not put way and waiting until the Great Reunion Does Occur. When our furry ball of creation we have "owned" returns to the Source of Love. Unfortunately, Wild Winds of Life Howl and Moan carving into our essence.  All of creation will all have that moment - we are called to remember Joel's  warm description of The Valley of Decision.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, called our Father - Abba - Pappa.

Pappa drew Abraham to look - - - Up.
To see far... To see many things beyond one man.

Genesis 15
5 And He took him outside and said, "Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." 6 Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.

Pappa has aspects we can feel and understand, He draws us to Him in understanding. And Pappa is Marvelous and Beyond all Things, for He created all things.

Pappa is indeed like C.S. Lewis' Aslan - "He is not a tame Lion." Pappa is our Father. Pappa loves to give awe and wonder. Most fathers crave this awe and wonder from their own family. We are, after all, our Father's children.

Pappa created His throne to look a little like something only this generation can understand... Pappa has described His Throne so well, that we have to admit - this Throne tells us - He does understand the Thunder and Might of a Rock Concert. A Funky, Chunky example of something we understand - Roars.

Pappa does not call His Throne mild. Just as His promise to Abraham was not within grasp of mortals.

Pappa loves to make this wonder. When His creation describes meeting Pappa - rarely does life stay neutral or unconcerned. Life becomes Abundant. Verdant.

Pappa is Wise because Wisdom comes from Pappa. He is Ancient of Days.

 Our Advocate. Our Father.

Pappa loves us first. Pappas do this.

1 John 4:19
We love because He first loved us.

Pappa has not made the rest of His Kingdom like His throne. Pappa is Good and understands us to need His shelter - His guidance. Pappa wants to be the One.

Hear Oh, Israel. God is One. God has Won.

Pappa is Before us. Pappa draws us to Him, Pappa stands behind us. Pappa Lives within our Souls. In this Amazing Wonder of Love, before we have spoken, Pappa has a Very Good idea what we will speak.

Pappa has discerned our path.

Pappa saw us knit together, our inward parts, formed in secret, intricately woven, unformed substance, knitted us in our mother's womb.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful is God's work.

God formed our days. And we know this. The thoughts of Pappa are vast. More than grains of sand. Dark is Light to Pappa.

We know this right well. The knowledge of our beginnings and His thoughts are almost too high for us. Yet even if this knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it, and yet we grasp this Love.

Pappa knew this was High knowledge and when He drew Heaven to be His Kingdom - Jesus created Heaven with 12 gates that will never shut. Abraham saw Father God and fell to his face seeing How vast God is; creating His unfolding Plan. Jesus walked among us as the Light that Lights all of mankind - drawing His disciples to Him with only Word.

Jesus spoke  when we have seen Jesus, we know our Pappa. We recognize our Father.

 Pappa is a parent. He alone is God. Our Father who calls us His children in giving us Jesus, as we call Jesus our Savior and believe in our heart He loves and saves you personally with the giving of His life for your soul.

Pappa is God and Father. His Heaven tells us this. The rest of Heaven tells us multitudes and Nations will come to God to merely solve the difficulty of life in Heaven. Our eyes will see His Glory. Jerusalem is there and more people than can be counted. God dwells on High. And with us. Emmanuel.

Paul tells us Heaven is so vast Heaven has levels. Pappa is still saying He is the Father, God, Parent above us.

Pappa wants to save the World. His Creation. The Earth and it's fullness, glimpses of seeing Heaven dimly is the Lord God Almighty. Evil only believes it is it's prince. Unconditional Love? Only God is Love wants to save the World. Jesus willingly putting his arms open wide to die for us and Forgiving us is Unconditional Love.

God knowing His sheep, does not go forth often about Unconditional Love. He gives a little wonder to cause - us to want His love and dwell in His framework. Building our eternal life for Peace. God calls us to live in peace as well as it is up to us.

Give Justice with Mercy, Walk Humbly with our Pappa. He is God.

We are not built to determine as Judge the transparent, to Pappa, soul of another. When Joseph believed Mary, the mother of Jesus, God's son, to be an adulteress. He treated her with mercy. Because God said to Love. Joseph knew blessed are the merciful - they shall obtain mercy.

If God could make sure His son's parents must treat each other with this mercy - why should we do less?  Pappa gave us a Lord's Prayer and He said - His will be done on earth as in His Kingdom.

Jesus said when you see Him - you see Pappa. Jesus  told us many, many things several times. To our benefit. I was pleased to be taught something of God twice yesterday.

Numbers 6
The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;

The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.'

Pappa explained not to fall to extremes, to be welcoming to people who do not know Pappa. Our Center is God's Love.

Joshua 1
I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.
Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.

Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you.

Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you?

Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

When we call out to Pappa - earnestly seeking Him, He is there. He never leaves or forsakes us. Pappa is the Father.

We have set out on our voyages, to return Home weary, worn out. Almost ruined. Pappa will run to us. We have called His name, Jesus, and He is beautiful.

We will know the Love of God.

Isaiah 66:22
"As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me," declares the LORD, "so will your name and descendants endure."

John 10:4
When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his children follow him because they know his voice.

Pappa, we will give our cares Up to You because Your Promises will hold us. In Christ Jesus our Lord, we boldly access with confidence, our faith in You. We will not lose heart over suffering, we will look for Your Glory. In Joy.

For this reason, I bow to You, Pappa. Father, every family in heaven and on earth is named through You. According to the riches of Your Glory, grant us to be strengthened with power in Your Holy Spirit in our inner being. We want to be an oasis that Christ may dwell in our hearts. Our faith rooted and grounded in Your love as our center core. That you would strengthen us to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth - to Know the Love of Christ. Surpassing knowledge. Fulfilling us in the fullness of God, Yourself.

Pappa you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think.

According to the power at work within us, to God be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout ALL generations, Forever and Ever. Our Halleluiah Chorus in Jesus Christ the Lord. Amen

Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Genesis 41:1-13 ~ After two whole years, Pharoah dreamed

Genesis 41:1-13

41 After two whole years, Pharaoh dreamed that he was standing by the Nile, 2 and behold, there came up out of the Nile seven cows attractive and plump, and they fed in the reed grass. 3 And behold, seven other cows, ugly and thin, came up out of the Nile after them, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the Nile. 4 And the ugly, thin cows ate up the seven attractive, plump cows. And Pharaoh awoke. 5 And he fell asleep and dreamed a second time. And behold, seven ears of grain, plump and good, were growing on one stalk. 6 And behold, after them sprouted seven ears, thin and blighted by the east wind. 7 And the thin ears swallowed up the seven plump, full ears.

And Pharaoh awoke, and behold, it was a dream. 8 So in the morning his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was none who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

9 Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, “I remember my offenses today. 10 When Pharaoh was angry with his servants and put me and the chief baker in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, 11 we dreamed on the same night, he and I, each having a dream with its own interpretation. 12 A young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard. When we told him, he interpreted our dreams to us, giving an interpretation to each man according to his dream. 13 And as he interpreted to us, so it came about. I was restored to my office, and the baker was hanged.”

Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

3 Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5 For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

Last week we had very wonderful soaking prayer filled with Love.

I was privileged to have truly great prayer,  today, with people who earnestly want to bring God to others. A woman was healed, by Jesus, from cancer her doctor said was incurable. She will be placed into a medical book and asked to tour with the Christian doctor on the amazing miracle this incurable Cancer was healed by faith in Jesus. A very grateful family to the Lord for His Work. PACN really has prayers answered.

We had a great Bible Study last night. This wonderful group has been meeting for about fourteen years. We are honest in our questions, forthright in doubts and gentle as we speak the truth. A work of God.

With our Bible Study we read Isaiah meeting God and feeling his inadequacies. And Peter feeling the same from just meeting a man - Jesus Christ the Lord. The comparison is Jesus Really Did Reveal our Father. One mere man whereas Abraham understood how very incredibly vast God is. The Red Sea parted with just His breath. Isaiah went on to describe the size of God by saying the Sea parted when Father God waived His hand.

God chose a forgetful cup bearer to be in charge of Joseph. And God picked Moses to be in charge of the Exodus. Because God wants all of us to understand that we are not God.  Genesis showed we hoped to be - like Eve - choosing right and wrong. Joseph grew up surrounded by unfortunate circumstance - God made a path for Joseph. Moses had unfortunate circumstance - God made a path for Moses like Gideon. And like Gideon - eventually Moses could not do God's work.

God's work is God's work.

I was fortunate to be able to travel through Texas by car on Tuesday - when you are looking for music on the FM radio - you actually get your pick of really, very, very fabulous Sermons and Lessons on accurate Bible. One station after the next. We are Blessed to have this in Texas. Our nation.

And the two I heard were on two different stations and ran parallel. And blend perfectly in to these Scriptures.

Caleb lived hard times being in the desert 40 years. And saw all of that generation die off. He lived in hard times knowing that he was living within God's Vision for him. Many days he must have wondered. And God gave Caleb the strength to live those years. To go into the Promised Land and be asked by Joshua where he would want to live. Caleb asked for land near Sarah. Caleb understood Love.

Paul lived in prison. Paul said he would like to be out. And being a purposeful man, Paul used all of his opportunities and left a legacy to help others.

God used hard circumstance to produce hope. Character. We get the opportunity to pick seeing the good - or sit home and whine. When we pick to rely upon the Fruit of God looking to Him - then we have the Joy to Know God Loves us. Receiving and giving Love makes us stronger. Knowing we are weak enough to be Loved by God. Saved by God. And go forth.

Every day He gives us.

Father God be with my family, we ask Your help, mercy, blessings. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Esther 2:1-18 ~ Esther

Esther painted by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema

Psalm 77
19 Your path led through the sea,
your way through the mighty waters,
though your footprints were not seen.

Matthew 22
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.

Esther 2:1-18

After these things, when the anger of King Ahasuerus had abated, he remembered Vashti and what she had done and what had been decreed against her. Then the king's servants who attended him said, "Let beautiful young virgins be sought out for the king. And let the king appoint commissioners in all the provinces of his kingdom to gather all the beautiful young virgins to the harem in the citadel of Susa under custody of Hegai, the king's eunuch, who is in charge of the women; let their cosmetic treatments be given them. And let the girl who pleases the king be queen instead of Vashti." This pleased the king, and he did so.

Now there was a Jew in the citadel of Susa whose name was Mordecai, son of Jair, son of Shimei, son of Kish, a Benjaminite. Kish had been carried away from Jerusalem among the captives carried away with King Jeconiah of Judah, whom King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had carried away. Mordecai had brought up Hadassah, that is Esther, his cousin, for she had neither father nor mother; the girl was fair and beautiful, and when her father and her mother died, Mordecai adopted her as his own daughter. So when the king's order and his edict were proclaimed, and when many young women were gathered in the citadel of Susa in custody of Hegai, Esther also was taken into the king's palace and put in custody of Hegai, who had charge of the women. The girl pleased him and won his favor, and he quickly provided her with her cosmetic treatments and her portion of food, and with seven chosen maids from the king's palace, and advanced her and her maids to the best place in the harem. Esther did not reveal her people or kindred, for Mordecai had charged her not to tell. Every day Mordecai would walk around in front of the court of the harem, to learn how Esther was and how she fared.

The turn came for each girl to go in to King Ahasuerus, after being twelve months under the regulations for the women, since this was the regular period of their cosmetic treatment, six months with oil of myrrh and six months with perfumes and cosmetics for women. When the girl went in to the king she was given whatever she asked for to take with her from the harem to the king's palace. In the evening she went in; then in the morning she came back to the second harem in custody of Shaashgaz, the king's eunuch, who was in charge of the concubines; she did not go in to the king again, unless the king delighted in her and she was summoned by name.

When the turn came for Esther, daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had adopted her as his own daughter, to go in to the king, she asked for nothing except what Hegai the king's eunuch, who had charge of the women, advised. Now Esther was admired by all who saw her. When Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus in his royal palace in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign, the king loved Esther more than all the other women; of all the virgins she won his favor and devotion, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. Then the king gave a great banquet to all his officials and ministers - "Esther's Esther's feast". He also granted a remission of taxes to the provinces and gave gifts with royal generosity.

What has the Book of Esther to do with anything today? A long ago story with old tombs of the people in this Bible Passage.

Esther was adopted. Her family was gone. She was in the highest place of honor. She could easily have looked good and had a pretty life. Sitting pretty would be a very accurate term for the Queen of the present day spelling of Xerxes.

In the midst of change, uncertainty, life expectancy, life, death, power, plots, vast wealth, lavish large life - Esther did not have the dreams given to Daniel or God's umpha blessing causing those around him to help him. Daniel's era had God's Handwriting Literally on the wall. Daniel had a lot of Supernatural God encouragement.

Esther had to trust God and say - "I'm going to trust God - as I do the right thing, I can have life and not walk around complaining and worrying and fainting and being without courage."

How many people would have decided to fight for their adopted Uncle and put their neck out? We see a few did in World War II. Really the story of Esther is one of personal courage and a willingness to do the right thing. And not walking around like a feinting Lily.

Esther did not go shrieking around that Jews didn't join Harems. I really doubt she was thrilled. Esther was placed in a very unusual situation for someone growing up as an ex-patriot Jew. She was unusually brave and uncomplaining.

The Book of Esther is about Trust and Believe God.
However your adult life has led down a path of unusual and different circumstance - God has not lost your address. God didn't give up on a woman thrown in a harem. Esther realized this and knew she would go Home to God at the end of her Life. Esther chose to live a life of meaning she could be proud of at the end of her Life, as she stood in front of God.

There are unusual aspects to Esther.

~ Uncomplaining.

Isaiah 43:18-19
Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

~ Realistic about where she was. Living with in the parameter's of Today.

1 Corinthians 3
The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.

Daniel 9:9
To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness

~ Seeing the good in the people around her - Hegai the king's eunuch. Mordecai. Ahasuerus.

John 15:12
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you."

How easy it would have been for Esther to have given in to self-pity, fear and not helped.

Psalm 103:2-4
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy

~ Courage. Because she Trusted God. He was her Salvation and She Believed Him.

2 Chronicles 32:8
With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.

Isaiah 12:2
“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”

Psalm 16:8
I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.

Father God, how grateful I am that You worked with the Disciples who really had a lack of peace a lot during the days they loved and walked with Jesus. You continued to work with men willing to argue in public over circumcision and You gave them the honesty to write that down. Father God, how I admire Esther, Help us all to cast our cares Up to You and Let You resolve our cares in Your way and in Your time. With a brave heart that You would be proud of. Help us all to Trust You. In Jesus we pray. Amen.

A simple blog, scripture-for-today.blogspot

This blog is pretty simple, but for a reason. This blog isn't about agenda or me, it is for the joy and love to found by reading the Scriptures. Ultimately, it is you and the Lord.

The Scriptures are Father God's letter to you. He wanted you to know more, to know He loves you.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
