Psalm 84
How lovely is your dwelling place,
O Lord of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, faints
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and flesh sing for joy
to the living God.
Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young,
at your altars, O Lord of hosts,
my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house,
ever singing your praise! Selah
Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
As they go through the Valley of Baca
they make it a place of springs;
the early rain also covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength;
each one appears before God in Zion.
O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer;
give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah
Behold our shield, O God;
look on the face of your anointed!
10 For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does He withhold
from those who walk uprightly.
O Lord of hosts,
blessed
is the one who trusts in you!
Abba, Father God,
In the Comfort of Your Love,
the common sharing of Your Holy Spirit
Your tenderness and compassion.
We recall answered Prayer
and Have Joy in You.
Thank You, Jesus.
We encourage each other and
build one another to build up the Body of Christ
and He dwells in us.
Your Love gives me great joy
and encouragement
and You refresh the hearts of Your People.
Your Word teaches our thoughts, words and ways
we have endurance through the Scriptures
and encouragement
You Provide for me to have hope.
Encourage our Heart.
Thank You for dwelling in me,
Help me to be Joy to Your Dwelling,
Bless those I love to have Your Love,
Help us to seek You first.
And to finish well.
Jesus gave us the Parable of the
Prodigal Son
help us each day to have our renewed
thoughts and ways
to Give us this Day
and find our ways pleasing to You.
Bless these days with
Polite and Caring Conversations
as we build each other up.
Bless us with Your Mercy
to the healing
of our Nation.
We ask You, Father,
to Proclaim further:
This is what the Lord Almighty says:
'My towns will again overflow with prosperity,
and the Lord will again comfort
Zion and choose Jerusalem.
We pray for our local school district
Conroe ISD
who are at level 4 for Covid,
in the 2nd week of school,
and 5 will be school closures.
The Spike of Covid we are seeing is serious.
We pray for the health of our Community.
Bless those we have seen Blessings from,
and continue to allow us
to Bless one another.
Help us to be focused on our Blessings.
We ask Your
Mercy, Love and
Healing Word
in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior
Amen.
