Reading Scripture helps us know God's Love. Every Bible verse is written for you. Jesus Christ is all mankind's Light. John 1!

Ruth 2 ~ The Lord be with you.

Van Gogh

Ruth 2

Now Naomi had a kinsman on her husband's side, a prominent rich man, of the family of Elimelech, whose name was Boaz. And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, "Let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain, behind someone in whose sight I may find favor." She said to her, "Go, my daughter." So she went. She came and gleaned in the field behind the reapers. As it happened, she came to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech. Just then Boaz came from Bethlehem. He said to the reapers, "The Lord be with you." They answered, "The Lord bless you." Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, "To whom does this young woman belong?" The servant who was in charge of the reapers answered, "She is the Moabite who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. She said, 'Please, let me glean and gather among the sheaves behind the reapers.' So she came, and she has been on her feet from early this morning until now, without resting even for a moment."

Then Boaz said to Ruth, "Now listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women. Keep your eyes on the field that is being reaped, and follow behind them. I have ordered the young men not to bother you. If you get thirsty, go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn." Then she fell prostrate, with her face to the ground, and said to him, "Why have I found favor in your sight, that you should take notice of me, when I am a foreigner?" But Boaz answered her, "All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before. May the Lord reward you for your deeds, and may you have a full reward from the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge!" Then she said, "May I continue to find favor in your sight, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, even though I am not one of your servants."

At mealtime Boaz said to her, "Come here, and eat some of this bread, and dip your morsel in the sour wine." So she sat beside the reapers, and he heaped up for her some parched grain. She ate until she was satisfied, and she had some left over. When she got up to glean, Boaz instructed his young men, "Let her glean even among the standing sheaves, and do not reproach her. You must also pull out some handfuls for her from the bundles, and leave them for her to glean, and do not rebuke her."

So she gleaned in the field until evening. Then she beat out what she had gleaned, and it was about an ephah of barley. She picked it up and came into the town, and her mother-in-law saw how much she had gleaned. Then she took out and gave her what was left over after she herself had been satisfied. Her mother-in-law said to her, "Where did you glean today? And where have you worked? Blessed be the man who took notice of you." So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked, and said, "The name of the man with whom I worked today is Boaz." Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, "Blessed be he by the Lord, whose kindness has not forsaken the living or the dead!" Naomi also said to her, "The man is a relative of ours, one of our nearest kin." Then Ruth the Moabite said, "He even said to me, 'Stay close by my servants, until they have finished all my harvest.'" Naomi said to Ruth, her daughter-in-law, "It is better, my daughter, that you go out with his young women, otherwise you might be bothered in another field." So she stayed close to the young women of Boaz, gleaning until the end of the barley and wheat harvests; and she lived with her mother-in-law.

Even in times of trouble, we are given the opportunity to be blessed and have gratitude.

Life doesn't always cater to us. In these times, we have to look at our blessings, sometimes with a pick and a shovel. Sometimes with a magnifying glass. God wants us to Expect His help. God wants us to see one of our obligations is to find Joy in His making the day sufficient.

Ruth was a foreigner. With a bitter old woman, picking in the fields. She was to share good fortune and in the blessing of sharing - to really be blessed.

Father God,

You have said that You take no pleasure in the austerity of sacrifice. What You request is to worship in Spirit and in Truth in the Law of Love and Liberty.

Help us each day to see and look for and search "Your Mercies renew daily."

We ask that we and our loved ones, the people we pray over have a deep desire for Gratitude.

In the name of Jesus, His Banner over me is Love. I will carry this with Gratitude.

In Jesus, The Lord, Amen.

Matthew 14:13-21 ~ Jesus heard this.

Matthew 14:13-21

Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” 16 But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” 17 They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” 18 And he said, “Bring them here to me.”

19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 20 And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. 21 And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

In the midst of His day, a day filled with requests, endless ideas of what they perceive God to be, ideas of what He should be, their joy, their pain, their trouble, Jesus acted lovingly.

So much need. So many requests. With God, He will find a way.

Matthew 9:36
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Who are these people peppering Jesus with their prayer requests? It is us. Jesus as the Son of God can speak a blessing over God's provision. How can we do less?

John 5:17
Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.

Father God,

A Heavenly Father who is finally thought of as a Blessing. And Rejoices. Loved as the way things really are.

Even the Father who has Love for the believing heart can rejoice again when real Gratitude flows.

A Mighty God who wants His Children to believe His Word.

A Mighty Father who wants to be believed as Love above the words of men and the traditions of mankind.

The Word of Father God is True. God is Love.

Thank You Father for our Loved Ones. Amen in... Jesus!

Mark 8:14-21 ~ He said to them

Mark 8:14-21

14 Now they had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat.

15 And he cautioned them, saying, “Watch out; beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”

16 And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread. 17 And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?”

They said to him, “Twelve.”

20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?”

And they said to him, “Seven.”

21 And he said to them, “Do you not
yet
understand?”

Jesus said to His Disciples ( - after Andrew had gone to find Simon Peter to tell him John the Baptist said Jesus is the Christ) and Jesus said, "Who do you say that I am?"

Jesus, is our Savior. Redemption for fallen mankind. Redemption for - the 'WORLD' through Jesus Christ. This is a God Sized Mission Statement.

Jesus could have started out with the list:

I am.
I am the Gate.
I am Living Water.
I am the Bread of Life.
I am the Shepherd of the Sheep.

And really what Peter is displaying in proclaiming the Grace of God - Jesus is the Christ.

Peter is saying the abundance of Father God. His Storehouses never fail. The Kingdom of God is at hand.

Job 38

16 “Have you entered into the springs of the sea,
or walked in the recesses of the deep?
17 Have the gates of death been revealed to you,
or have you seen the gates of deep darkness?
18 Have you comprehended the expanse of the earth?
Declare, if you know all this.

19 “Where is the way to the dwelling of light,
and where is the place of darkness,
20 that you may take it to its territory
and that you may discern the paths to its home?
21 You know, for you were born then,
and the number of your days is great!

22 “Have you entered the storehouses
of the snow,
or have you seen the storehouses
of the hail,
23 which I have reserved for the time of trouble,
for the day of battle and war?

24 What is the way to the place where the light is distributed,
or where the east wind is scattered upon the earth?

25 “Who has cleft a channel for the torrents of rain
and a way for the thunderbolt,
26 to bring rain on a land where no man is,
on the desert in which there is no man,
27 to satisfy the waste and desolate land,
and to make the ground sprout with grass?

28 “Has the rain a father,
or who has begotten the drops of dew?
29 From whose womb did the ice come forth,
and who has given birth to the frost of heaven?
30 The waters become hard like stone,
and the face of the deep is frozen.

31 “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades
or loose the cords of Orion?
32 Can you lead forth the Mazzarothb in their season,
or can you guide the Bear with its children?
33 Do you know the ordinances of the heavens?
Can you establish their rule on the earth?

34 “Can you lift up your voice to the clouds,
that a flood of waters may cover you?
35 Can you send forth lightnings, that they may go
and say to you, ‘Here we are’?

36 Who has put wisdom in the inward parts
or given understanding to the mind?
37 Who can number the clouds by wisdom?
Or who can tilt the waterskins of the heavens,
38 when the dust runs into a mass
and the clods stick fast together?

39 “Can you hunt the prey for the lion,
or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,
40 when they crouch in their dens
or lie in wait in their thicket?
41 Who provides for the raven its prey,
when its young ones cry to God for help,
and wander about for lack of food?

Verse 37
God sent forth the Children of Israel through the Red Sea - with abundant treasure from their former slave owners. This treasure became the Temple of God. This is also recorded in the Ipuwer Papyrus - which is secular.

Ezra 1:5-10. The list of returned Babylonian (see the history matches independently in the Babylonian Chronicles housed in European and British Museums in perfectly cared for cuneiforms. ) items included 1000 basins of gold, 1000 basins of silver, 29 censers, 30 bowls of gold, 2410 bowls of silver, and other vessels of gold and silver totaling 5,469 in number.

It is known that most or all of the holy vessels of gold and silver from the Tabernacle were with the Ark when it was brought from the city of David to the First Temple by Solomon (I Kings 8:4). Although David desired to build a permanent house of God in Jerusalem, his son Solomon built the first temple. The plans were those of David, and David amassed the materials (I Chronicles 28:1-19; II Chronicles 2-4; I Kings 6-7). These materials included 100,000 talents  of gold and 1,000,000 talents of silver, (I Chron. 29). From his own private fortune David also gave 3,000 talents of gold and 7,000 talents of high grade silver.

This is an enormous quantity of gold and silver by any standard: 100,000 talents of gold = 3750 tons, value today per one ton = $48.2 billion; 1,000,000 talents of silver = 37,500 tons, value today silver per ton is $1 Million.

In round numbers, the wealth of the First Temple was ASTOUNDING.

How does the New Testament - relate to this?

Today you will be with me in Paradise.

Matthew 12:15
Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. A large crowd followed him, and he healed all who were ill.

Matthew 4:23
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Luke 9:11
But the crowds found out and followed Him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and He healed those who needed healing.

AND - How does this relate to the New Testament? This is Jesus - The Son of GOD.

Peter.
Cast your nets that way. The fish were so ladden the nets began to tear.

Peter was, frankly, 'Terrified'. "Lord. Look away from me, I am a sinful man."

Peter later said, "I have no where to go. You have the Words of Life."

Why would multitudes of Women show up to mourn just a man?

Why would the Unblemished Son of God die to save this world?

How would History record this - is there anything we can concretely grasp as an undeniable proof?

Although the Second Temple was considerably, considerably more poor -

The Arch of Titus in Rome clearly shows gold Temple Tools, The Bread of the Presence, The Table of Bread (Not the Ark removed before 570 B.C. by Jeremiah). You can today witness what gold built the Coliseum from God's Gold Covered Temple in Jerusalem.

You can see 16 years after Jesus, The Roman Emperors began to kill Christians and hunt them and the Scriptures to destroy for 367 years until Constantine changed the Roman Empire forever. And for another 1,000 years the Roman Empire was located in Constantinople   Yes History records the World - changed.

God has put something extra astonishingly amazing in seeing into each man, woman and child.

John the Disciple saw this in Jesus and tells us 'God Is Love'.

John 1

4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him

In your darkest of moments know this about God.

5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

And Father God -

What will we do to Claim this Salvation. The Salvation Jesus gives - freely. Abundantly, not pressed down - overflowing?

Father God,

Please Forgive my sins.

I believe in Jesus as Lord. Son of God.

I accept You today to live in my heart and soul.

Guide me in Your Good Will. Let Your Love live in me forever. And help me in Your Abundant Love, Goodness and Mercy to stay on Your Path and rejoice in Your Pleasure.

In the Name, The Highest Name of Jesus.

We will trust. Amen.

Philemon ~ Refresh my heart in Christ

The scrap of Philemon (not really blue seen further down in the post) dates to the late 2nd Century. However the Ignatius of Antioch c.35 – 108 A.D. refers to The Book of Philemon many times in his histories. Ignatius proclaimed work to get along with one another.

Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn's painting of Philemon

Philemon

1 Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother,

To Philemon our beloved fellow worker 2 and Apphia our sister and Archippus our fellow soldier, and the church in your house:

3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, 5 because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, 6 and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. 7 For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.

8 Accordingly, though I am bold enough in Christ to command you to do what is required, 9 yet for love's sake I prefer to appeal to you—I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner also for Christ Jesus— 10 I appeal to you for my child,
Onesimus,[Onesimus means useful or beneficial], but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.) 12 I am sending him back to you, sending my very heart.

13 I would have been glad to keep him with me, in order that he might serve me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel, 14 but I preferred to do nothing without your consent in order that your goodness might not be by compulsion but of your own accord. 15 For this perhaps is why he was parted from you for a while, that you might have him back forever, 16 no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother—especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

17 So if you consider me your partner, receive him as you would receive me. 18 If he has wronged you at all, or owes you anything, charge that to my account. 19 I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it—to say nothing of your owing me even your own self. 20 Yes, brother, I want some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.

21 Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say. 22 At the same time, prepare a guest room for me, for I am hoping that through your prayers I will be graciously given to you.

23 Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends greetings to you, 24 and so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.

25 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Paul - here is a fine example of God's heart portrayed in Paul. Paul , if you count all the times he loves the people he preaches to, shows us the parental qualities of God.

1 Corinthians 4:17
That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church.

Sometimes listening with our heart involves looking at the very word God gives us.

Apphia our sister

the church in your house Grace to you and peace

I remember you in my prayers

knowledge of every good thing

joy and comfort from your love

hearts of the saints have been refreshed

I prefer to appeal to you

sending my very heart

your goodness

as a beloved brother

knowing that you will do even more

Paul is sending his very heart. God HIS heart  for you to have -

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Thank You, Father God, for revealing your heart for us in these words. Thank You, Father.  Help us each day to teach Jesus Christ, the qualities of Jesus in every place we go. Amen.

John 11 ~ And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him.

Bethany.

" The Tomb of Lazarus - Friend of Jesus."

John 11

Now a certain man was ill, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was ill. 3 So the sisters sent to him, saying, “Lord, he whom you love is ill.” 4 But when Jesus heard it he said, “This illness does not lead to death. It is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 So, when he heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was. 7 Then after this he said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”

8 The disciples said to him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?”

9 Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. 10 But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.” 11 After saying these things, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.”

12 The disciples said to him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”

13 Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep. 14 Then Jesus told them plainly, “Lazarus has died, 15 and for your sake I am glad that I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.”

16 So Thomas, called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”

17 Now when Jesus came, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days. 18 Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles off, 19 and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them concerning their brother.

20 So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary remained seated in the house. 21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.”

23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

24 Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”

28 When she had said this, she went and called her sister Mary, saying in private, “The Teacher is here and is calling for you.”

29 And when she heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still in the place where Martha had met him. 31 When the Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary rise quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing that she was going to the tomb to weep there. 32 Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”

33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled. 34 And he said, “Where have you laid him?”

They said to him, “Lord, come and see.”

35 Jesus wept. 3

6 So the Jews said, “See how he loved him!”

37 But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man also have kept this man from dying?”

38 Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”

Martha, the sister of the dead man, said to him, “Lord, by this time there will be an odor, for he has been dead four days.”

40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

41 So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that you sent me.”

43 When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.”

44 The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth.

Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

45 Many of the Jews therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen what he did, believed in him,

46 but some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.

47 So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the council and said, “What are we to do? For this man performs many signs. 48 If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.”

49 But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all. 50 Nor do you understand that it is better for you that one man should die for the people, not that the whole nation should perish.”

51 He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. 53 So from that day on they made plans to put him to death.

54 Jesus therefore no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and there he stayed with the disciples.

55 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover to purify themselves. 56 They were looking for Jesus and saying to one another as they stood in the temple, “What do you think? That he will not come to the feast at all?”

57 Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where he was, he should let them know, so that they might arrest him.

Ok, say you are watching "Game of Thrones" and you missed half the series because for some reason, you were given the novels and you read 3 of them, but every single, living, person keeept onnnn dying and you just got tired and gave up. And you gave your books to Dr. Kurt Kirkpatrick - he loved them so much, that then you picked up the series and you were surprised to find out, there is a heck of a lot of nudity.

And you are THRILLED to find out Finally the Starks are going to live. Finally good news. And the Dragon Queen is good. It's looking like - hey - might not be such a waste of time.

I am hoping the way "Game of Thrones" plays out, we will not see so much cynicism about God.

I fully understand about the Crusades. Yada Yada. The people who drone on and on about the crusades - like current Christians are to blame. (Listen to Historian Dan Carlin talk about the Mongols and how the historical Mongols ended the last Christian Muslim struggle in the 13th Century -, very, very fascinating.) The High Sparrow with the Gods and 7 Blessings - not the real deal - too much hair shirt - too little Joy in being part of Father God's Plan = revamp Crusades. And watch out for the people who take a widow's house the BIBLE warns. When 'it' is all about power - jump back.

Ok, surely if you watch the show you know that, but Consider. Perhaps the High Septon going on and on about sins is really the damn flap trap about something that occurred 500 years ago and those people are DEAD. The Chinese would not consider it appropriate to be blamed for Mongol 70 million dead.

Now the God of Light - this one has some Idea of Biblical History. The red whatever, Melisandre, has a clue that the God of Light deserted her when a child was sacrificed. The Old Testament is the Same. God deserted all the baby for blood - for the crops to the god of prosperity - people.

And they arrive at the Stark's house to war and discover the horrid man who shot down the Stark child with an arrow - he is not going to have help with survival. In fact, the God of Light helps the people with the lost child - with the newly, alive John Snow Stark to win.

And we see John Snow Stark is really going to live - so far. And he came back from being dead - dead. Like Lazarus.

Ok, now the deal is Lazarus - let's be real, let's be honest, let's be accurate.

If you really know your Scriptures - Peter WAS NOT the first to announce Jesus is the Christ. Nathaniel and Andrew, Peter's brother got this - the first day.

Lazarus. Lazarus is not the first person Jesus raises from - the DEAD. Lazarus is the fourth the Disciples bothered to write down. In FACT, Jesus, a couple of times, took multitudes and the Word of God says "HE Healed Them ALL." And this is without doubt - a time with the dying - on stretchers were brought, to Him. So, let's be real and factual and say, 'Lazarus is the fourth we know of. In Fact, John says John cannot even begin to describe how Magnificent Jesus IS.'

Jesus said, with astonishing Jesus like Humility, that after He dies and Shows us Literally the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand - by Ascending - So (Thanks Dee and Sharon) we know Where Jesus IS. With Witnesses.

And Jesus does not say things off the cuff (like I do and have flaws and weaknesses). And if you look up people who have life after death experiences - you see none of us are surprised. However, if you keep looking you will find really, very dead people - who have even their skin has rigor mortis and are being cut open for organ donation with 15 medical witnesses to their death. They return to say, they have met Jesus. We have a recent movie about this too from a 4 year old child. Oklahoma, a small town, prayed for a boy killed in a car accident not to die. And he did and all was lost. Until he had been dead for a day and they went in to take organs from his completely rigor mortis, skin rigor and black although he was Caucasian.

Another woman was from the Midwest and she died after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was dead. Rigor mortis of the flesh to turn black. And she woke up in the morgue. To find she had no more cancer, which had been through her whole body.

Jesus was not just a great man. Jesus is ALIVE.

Jesus please pray with us.

Our Father,

Who is in Heaven. Holy is Your Name.

Your Kingdom come, Your Will be Done. On earth, as it is in Heaven.

Give us this Day. Our Daily Bread.

Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.

Lead us not in to temptation.

Deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory.

Forever and ever. Amen.

In the Name of Jesus, we pray as Jesus told us in John 14, 15 and 16.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

A simple blog, scripture-for-today.blogspot

This blog is pretty simple, but for a reason. This blog isn't about agenda or me, it is for the joy and love to found by reading the Scriptures. Ultimately, it is you and the Lord.

The Scriptures are Father God's letter to you. He wanted you to know more, to know He loves you.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
