John 3:16-17 ~ He gave His only Son

Time magazine covered the story on April 8, 1966, one thousand thirty-three years late. Dr. Hamilton became the target of death threats in the year after the article was published. He left his job, feeling ostracized. Balaam tried to outdo God and even if the caves of Jordan still refer to Balaam, trying to bribe God to let go of the Children of Israel - - - so Balaam could take the Exodus king's bribe - didn't work out well for Balaam.

The Story is about God the Father, God the Spirit and God the Son suffering
injustice, horror, ridicule and mortality.

This Plan of God's made bringing the Good News to the dark world of Asia and Europe serving gods of 'power' uphill, uphill and uphill work. Father God is simply not in the PR power game. God is the Alpha and Omega and Father of Jesus Christ.

God's Mission? To save the world - feeding the multitudes - which indeed became the millenniums and you and me - for many thousands of years. Mere days to God Himself.

In 2008, I was 44 years old and Hurricane Ike arrived. So did our daughter Isabelle. Stillborn. Beautiful. Born with a look of profound Joy. Smiling. Awake in Jesus.

I went home to wail. And within weeks the ducks we kept announced the Indian Summer would lead to more baby ducks. I paused wailing and watched. The mother duck waddled into a barely year old dog's yard and her ducklings were shredded. She refused to give up and fought the poor dog until she was mortally wounded. She returned home to die sitting beside me in the yard.  I prayed for a miracle for this 2-year-old Roeun duck with her first clutch. Her duck neck wouldn't support her head and she rested into Eternity.

A few months later, outside my study window, a Cardinal and Cardinal lady began a nest right by my desk. All went well until one day a Blue Jay came down and casually pushed Cardinal lady aside and ate all 3 of her infant birds. The Cardinal pair sat on the empty nest for a couple of days. We all wept.

Do I have any more sad bird tales? No, I have some really good ones.

Today - I was puzzling out why God would give me this series of events after Isabelle went on to Heaven. And 11 years later - today - I had an answer. God has Deliberate Plans. God is the Father of the Seed Parable. God is in a very serious line of work. And I fully believe and know, I am entirely grateful God is God Himself.

When we are young, we see the death of Jesus as a young man with Promise.

As we go forward in life, we see Good Friday as the death of a Son. God's Son. Our Savior.

Going through Life we will see Good Friday from many aspects at the Table of God. This is my thoughts on my relationship with Father God.

God is a Father. God explains Scripture with positive approaches to Good Care of our emotions. We can look at Scripture constantly to find God is Fathering us. God explains His own Nature in Jesus Christ and on Good Friday.

God explains how He felt about Jesus dying.

Ready the man  - Who had healed the blind, lame, deaf, lepers and brought sons and daughters back to life - for death.

Reality.

God Himself is going to have a reaction to this.

The Light of the World. Is Jesus Christ.

Evidence today of the earthquake:

The Temple experienced the Earthquake and the Veil to the Holy of Holies was torn.

For two millenniums Christian Historians site non-Christian Historical references to earthquakes and darkness on Good Friday. Historians argue over text and verbs and placements of words. We would have to say 3 secular Historians of this era point out earthquake and darkness history resulting in 2 millenniums of arguments over this history.

To analyze earthquake activity in the region, geologist Jefferson Williams of Supersonic Geophysical and colleagues Markus Schwab and Achim Brauer of the German Research Center for Geosciences studied three cores from the beach of the Ein Gedi Spa adjacent to the Dead Sea.

Varves, which are annual layers of deposition in the sediments, reveal that at least two major earthquakes affected the core: a widespread earthquake in 31 B.C. and an early first-century seismic event that happened sometime between 26 A.D. and 36 A.D.

The latter period occurred during “the years when Pontius Pilate was procurator of Judea and when the earthquake of the Gospel of Matthew is historically constrained,” Williams said.

Israel today sits on a major earthquake fault and their government discusses and dreads a 7 point earthquake seismic event. All architecture built since 1980 is coded to be saved from earthquakes on a 4 point seismic scale.

Brave men went to Pontius Pilate - who had murdered men and women on High Jewish Holidays before and requested the Body of Jesus Christ. Pilate was merciful to release the Body of Jesus to them.

And the Tomb of Jesus Christ was sealed and protected by soldiers.

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, 

whoever believes in Jesus Christ should not perish but have eternal life. 

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, 

but in order that the world might be saved 

through Jesus Christ.

We rely on Your Willing Blessings each day.

In Jesus, on Good Friday, any time of the day, any year, any season - this is our Rock and our Deliverer. Wonderful of God.

In Your Son, Jesus, we will Rejoice. Especially Good Friday.

Blessed be our Father, The Lord God Almighty, maker of Heaven and earth. Creator of All Things and His Son, Jesus Christ. Wonderful.

John 13:1 ~ having loved His own who were in the world, Jesus loved them to the end.

The sky probably looked like this as fishing ended for the day. Passover would have a marvelous moon.

Jesus was at the Mount of Olives Maundy Thursday night, knowing His fate on Mandy Thursday before Good Friday.

Perhaps the Mount of Olives one of the reasons this is chosen -  because Capernaum, His adult Hometown, has hills Jesus was known to climb and pray at night.

Jesus Christ had favorite places during His earthly life, the Mount of Olives was certainly one of them. He spent much time there. Mount Of Olives 2 miles from the Temple and facing the Prophetic Eastern Gate - open rarely and during Jesus' life.

John 13:1

Now before the festival of the Passover, 

Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart from this world and go to the Father. 

Having loved his own who were in the world, 

he loved them to the end.

We understand something of the anxiety Jesus felt Maundy Thursday late evening.

This event facing death is timeless. We understand. We would sit with Jesus on Maundy Thursday.

Matthew 26

36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” 37And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.” 39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” 

40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 

42 Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” 43 And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 

44 So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words again.

John 18:10

Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.)

Luke 22:50-51

50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.

51 But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” 

And He touched the man’s ear 

and healed him.

Psalm 18:35

You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, 

and your gentleness made me great.

In early Christianity, the butterfly symbolized the soul. The caterpillar disappears into a cocoon, appearing dead. Jesus Christ was laid in the tomb after the crucifixion. Later, the butterfly emerges, having transformed into something more beautiful and powerful. Jesus is seen later as Heaven has touched Him. Jesus is transformed.

This is mankind. The truth of this amazing tragedy is part of life. Timeless and recorded Honestly in Scriptures.

In all cultures. In China, the butterfly was used as a symbol of purification by fire.


The Chalcolithic period 6,400 - 3,600 BC (Stern 2008:5:2126).
Since the catastrophic, worldwide Flood in Noah’s Day (recently Washington state is seen to have experienced an asteroid causing worldwide flooding about the time of Noah 12,000 years ago and being less severe where Noah would have landed nearby).

All the archaeological strata dates Post-Flood.

The Patriarchs, including Job, should be set archaeologically in the Chalcolithic period and Early Bronze age.

An intriguing study of Chalcolithic ossuary jars, Professor Assaf Nativ suggests the possibility some ossuary jars function as models of cocoons symbolizing metamorphosis (2008:209-214). He observed ossuary jars are oval with an aperture [opening] down the shoulder of the vessel. The top is domed, having a knob on top. He concluded the “general form … of the ossuary jar bear some close similarities to a range of cocoons, particularly those of butterflies.

The vessel itself resembles the encapsulating shell and the knob the – the part holding the body of the cocoon to the twig or branch from which it hangs. Further allusions to cocoons may be found in the patterns of decoration found on some of the ossuary jars. These may represent the ‘ribs’ discernable upon some cocoons surfaces, vegetal motifs alluding to the milieu in which they dwell, and possibly even patterns of butterfly wings” (2008:210).

John 16 ~ your sorrow will turn into Joy

The skies - seen before electricity:

For centuries, all kilometers, miles and distance in France occur from Notre Dame. This is considered to be the beginning of France. The heart of France.

When we consider what Holy Week really is - this is the end times of the life of Jesus Christ. John the Baptist faltered and sent Disciples to check if John the Baptist had correctly given his life proclaiming Jesus the Messiah of God.

It's not a surprise to Jesus as the troops arrive in the Garden of Olives. Clearly the Man and God who heal the blind and cure the deaf and restore the lame and leper - understands what is going to arrive this week.

Jesus spent time on the hills around the Sea of Galilee praying. Telling us two millenniums later,

John 10

29 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all.

No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

30 I and the Father are one.”

This is not an older person, tired and worn out to see death as a blessing of rest.

At the point of death - we learn about people. It's the point of the beginning or the end.

John 16

20 Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.

21 When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

22 So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. 23 In that day you will ask nothing of me.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in my name.

Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Holy Week reveals the depth of this incredible sacrifice. The absence of fear and terror, mostly. The Blessing of Jesus in his darkest week. The Revealing of the Heart of Jesus Christ.

Why use the stars to speak of God Himself?
For millenniums, the quiet beauty of the skies have brought what is mortal and frail as a flower, to look in understanding at Eternity. Witnessing without a doubt to a Greater Being. A Greater Power. Steadfast Creation.

Like Jesus moving to be quiet and talk with our  Father and even of Abraham, discussions are held about God in wonder. Is this real. Do we believe? Are the eyewitnesses like John credible? Why doesn't our heart ring with the truth as Jeremiah proclaims in God's Word about the New Covenant. God Within.

We discuss the large events of our lives. The shocking, the life-changing - these require fellowship to measure out belief and fact. Opinion and direction. We seek the Body of Christ to find viewpoints. What cannot be changed is the new earth. Historians of the Roman Empire know Jesus was born, died and something drastic happened.

The Bible rightly agrees with His Story. History. We find Historical letters by rabbis. We discover a change in the status of fellowship immediately. We find artifacts in Rome. We find the tombs change in decoration after Jesus is proclaimed. The very History of 4 Centuries of Roman Empire fear of Jesus Christ by Emperors does not change.

The skies proclaim.

Psalm 19

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.

3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.

4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens, God has placed a tent for the sun.

5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. 

6 It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other;

Nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Luke 24

17 He asked them, “What are you discussing together as you walk along?”

They stood still, their faces downcast. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, asked him, 

“Are you the only one

visiting Jerusalem

who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”

19 “What things?” he asked.

“About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. 20 The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; 21 but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. 

And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place. 

22 In addition, some of our women amazed us. 

They went to the tomb early this morning 23 but didn’t find his body.

 They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels,

 who said he was alive.

Isaiah 41:20 

So that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the LORD has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 40:5

And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. 
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

John 17:21

That all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

With Your Willing Blessings, let us follow the example of Jesus Christ.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! 

Giving us this day. Jesus told us.

1 Chronicles 29:13:

And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.

The Love Jesus has asking us to pray for more Heaven on earth and God's Good Will accomplished in this life.

For ourselves, for our loved ones, for our Nation, for the Nations Trusting God, for all of His Children circling His Good Creation. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory. In Jesus Christ. Our Lord, Our God, our Savior.

John 1:12

Yet to all who did receive him, 

to those who believed in his name,

 he gave the right to become children of God

Jeremiah 31:31-35

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,

“when I will make a new covenant

with the people of Israel

and with the people of Judah.

32 It will not be like the covenant

I made with their ancestors

when I took them by the hand

to lead them out of Egypt,

because they broke my covenant,

though I was a husband to  them, ”

declares the Lord.

33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel

after that time,” declares the Lord.

“I will put my law in their minds

and write it on their hearts.

I will be their God,

and they will be my people.

34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,

or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’

because they will all know me,

from the least of them to the greatest,”

declares the Lord.

“For I will forgive their wickedness

and will remember their sins no more.”

35 This is what the Lord says

When God has created the Universe and seen all there is of His Creation, why would Jesus have Holy Week and die upon the Cross, rising to Live?


God did not just send His Son. God died upon the Cross. To remember our sins no more. Jesus giving us a new earth and Father God has a Heaven resplendent with His Glory and His Righteousness. Not a place of the dead. God of the Living.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

We all know a miracle of God's Works.

Jesus filled His Life making the blind see. The deaf hear. The lame walk and run. His Name saves.

Acts 3:8

He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

John 3:3

Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again."

John 1:14

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. 

We have seen his glory, 

the glory of the one and only Son,

 who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Holy Week would be something Jesus would face all His Life.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 14:2

My Father's house has plenty of room; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

John 15:26

"When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father – the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father – he will testify about me." 

John 17:20

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message"

Where did Jesus come up with this courage and faith? Jesus and His Father were one. The Plans of God are always established. Jesus fully invested and believed in God's Plan as the Outcome of Good for Hope and a Future.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and Glory. Amen.

Jesus is Lord. The Light of mankind is Jesus.

2 Chronicles 5:13-14 ~ Jesus Christ is Good, for His Steadfast Love endures forever.

2 Chronicles 5:13-14

Singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the LORD), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the LORD,

“For he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever,”

The house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, 14so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

2 Chroniques 5

La maison, la maison du Seigneur, était remplie d'un nuage, 14 afin que les prêtres ne pouvaient pas tenir au ministre à cause du nuage, pour la gloire du Seigneur remplissait la maison de Dieu.

This Week is Holy Week. Jesus knows the Darkness of Good Friday is going to arrive.

And from this Darkness we have John 14, 15, 16 and 17. The longest talk Jesus is recorded as speaking.

Jesus is giving to us all from the darkness approaching Good Friday. Even Before Good Friday - Jesus assures His Beloved they are clean. Jesus sees further than we can see. God of Love. God of Encouragement. Just as God has seen bravery in Gideon, Jesus has told them they will fall away - Jesus is giving reassurance to this fallen group and as God, His Reassurance will be Everlasting.

Jesus tells them of His Joy. In all Chapters of John - Jesus wants His Beloved to know The Light will not overcome the Darkness. This is a horrible week for Jesus. And Jesus is giving confirmation of His Joy in this Life and in His Delight in mankind. His Love.

As we walk this life, we realize this is what A Good Father does. As His life flows to eternity, a Good Father assures His Beloved of their ability in goodness. Assures of His Joy. With God Himself, we know we rely on Him to be Truth.

Our Good Father is Alive, Lovingly Present and Working.

Just as Mary's Cousin, Elizabeth gave shelter to God Himself - to be born - we know Sacre Coeur will give shelter as the Holy Spirit gives Grace and Mercy. And we shall witness the Light is not overcome by darkness as the artists, architects, believers, faithful, workers and Beloved of God will see Notre Dame rise again to give the Glory to God. La Ville Lumière.
