HEBREWS 6:1-3, 9-20 ~ go on to maturity




Most of us see our soul going forth into life. Like car keys, purse or wallet


Going to the Lord God Almighty daily in prayer and adventure, as well as going Home.
















HEBREWS 6:1-3, 9-20 


1 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits.





A soul, being the placewhere God is asked to dwell within our eternal being - is a two-way door. How will we look to the Lord God, our Father, on an everyday basis?



The Message

So come on, let’s leave the preschool finger painting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on “salvation by self-help” and turning in trust toward God; baptismal instructions; laying on of hands; resurrection of the dead; eternal judgment. God helping us, we’ll stay true to all that. But there’s so much more. Let’s get on with it!




Now here is the point when a human being looks at the Word of God and feels the Spirit is moving, yet sees something different than The Message interpretation. In my 20's, I was in a very liberal Bible Study where the instructor said, "Why would we insult God by saying 'I want Heaven' - Heaven might be God's Memory and we should be pleased to be remembered."

I disagreed. I think this is easy to brush off believing God in all His Promises. God favored Abraham for his belief. God favored Abraham because Abraham took God's Word and Lived to Abundance in a very, very dry area in a tent (away from his own earthly father's abundant, verdant valleys) doing what laity does - living in the culture and finding God instead of the regular cultural 'party' lines. Abraham expected Abundant Life. Abraham expected to see the Glories of God in his everyday life and in situations of immediate prayer. I'd say the passage says shake off the rut of same old thing routine work a day. Don't just go to Church sing and leave. Feeling wonderful. Dig into belief that it isn't about routine - it's about GOD. Not mattering if we are High Church or low wear shorts church and flip-flops. Belief isn't measured in the regular observable things.



Belief is about the Shake up of The Real Jesus, The Real Father God, The Real Holy Spirit dwelling.

Belief is the nuts and bolts of The Book of Acts. I ask Jesus, we pray, we believe, 2 or more pray - sometimes that's you and Jesus. And we know as we pray for Wayne Lewis, he is going to recover from being in the hospital for his nose/sinus surgery. We have 'audacity' Faith. It does not have the comfort of warm Hobbit holes.

We say our faith is the time we spend - praying for real things expecting Real Holy Spirit Movement.




What if God banged on our door and told us, "Regular routine, your soul needs to wake up. Repeat, repeat, repeat." Wouldn't God be saying - believe all prayer has an answer when asked in the Name of Jesus?


Heed the call.


Today, I felt that the Holy Spirit was telling me - you react to grumpy sons and a husband with three grumps brain lobes - with sour grumpy and fury. I deal with testosterone brains with a woman's brain. Mistake a - allow servitude and getting quiet. One might as well be the donkey of Balaam. Mistake b - mine - put out fire with fire Red Adair Style. We had a Whale of an Argument. Everyone is grown. 29.7, 26.11, 55 and 57Grumps. Not the same as the youth group meetings. Not the youth group meetings. Indeed, indeed, indeed.






 Warning and Disclaimer: Do not try this in your home. No dishes were thrown at our house. Objects closer than they appear.

 Life is messy. The Bible says for the Righteous - all are messy. And then... and then and then...




We are messy.


Nooooo. We have grumpy debates about lawfulness. And the opinion vs the result. We have grumpy curfews. And unrestrained grumpy brain to mouth bombs. Not me. My sons are 9 inches taller than I am. But I can do the job if I go viral. Brain damage searches for language like this - "Where is the f go I put the s there." It's much faster than ah - um - om and is universal in brain damage. One son has adopted the lingo - the other says he has been swimming there long enough. Which exasperates the F I G H T. Dad says No, no, no, no. Sons say Dad said no. I say no.

Dinner invitation to Red Adair. Bring heavy equipment. Artillery. Do you carry mace? Bring fire retardant. Does it come in stylish silver? Red hat - fine. Shield - multi-color.




So we let it all hang out about Sunday 2 p.m. Never mind we had a weekend guest. Furniture in the raw - had nothing like Honest BRING IT. We handled this like the Movie, "300". This was actually a two-day event. (Will the weekend guest return - yeah. He's good with who we are - we always were real.)

Our houseguest, coincidentally looks like the one on the right. The facial expression - is just about right. Friend of ours since 2006.



Stop Drop and Roll. Well. Great Advice. REALLY. Prayer started out the - other - way with declarations. But after verbal blows, parry and impending dismemberment - we realized if we axed the team. Hey - we wouldn't have the team.


I like Stop Drop and Roll. Next time, since we learned it. I will.
We employed "Tatter Salad" - if only we had the ability to work with - "the right to remain Silent."

But we did find leaving a man behind in bloody battle - would involve Dire Love Lost. And in the result - we went with, "no Person left behind." (Person is a family last name.)

That being said, Hebrews 6 is like God telling me that He finds my soul and response a little like hitting His Head on the ceiling of my soul. Time to ask Father Lord God - help, help, please.

Life is messy. The Bible says for the Righteous - all are messy.

One of our sons Lost His Dog.


This was unfortunate timing. We were dressed for a Wedding. Suit and Tie. Shiny, gloss suit shoes. Suddenly my college aged son was tie flying behind him offering every word up like a heathen at the Top OF His Lungs. The dog is never caught easily. However... God has mercy on many. The neighborhood was open mouthed. Fine evening to be in the yard. Youth ministry history.

My son didn't calm down. He came running back to two garage open doors. And

Acts of God are Stunning.

He slid across two Garage Bays. And as he reached the wall, he said he never hurt, he was on his rear, but Suddenly - my son's feet were where his head should have been. All the way up the wall. His head remained on the garage floor - where it was clean - out of the car zone. And our office garage can - filled cleanly with paper only was flying in the air. Flying. Flying. Landing on the face - only - saying the 'garbage' words.

4. Slid did not fall across two car zones of the garage - Mercy
5. His Feet went up the wall entire minus his cranium. Height of my son perfectly- head is supported for more usage - Mercy
6. The trash can - is coincidently in the garage and only paper not goo - Mercy - his Garbage - lands on his face. TEACHING SOMETHING. IMPORTANT. My son LAUGHS FOR 45 entire MINUTES. "GOD LOVES ME!!!"

MERCY OF GOD

13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, 14 saying, "Surely I will bless you and multiply you."

15 And thus Abraham, having patiently waited, obtained the promise.

16 For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes an oath is final for confirmation. 17 So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, 18 so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.

19 We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.





Abba Father,

Thank You for Your mercies. Your steadfast love. The Deliverance of the Righteous. Your Holy Scriptures.

For those we Love. For the people You care for. The Nation Trusting in You. And in the Nations of the world trusting in You, covering the Believers with the Name and Power of Jesus.

Keeping us in the Joy of God's Path for each of us. Enabling us each day. Strengthening us.

1 Peter 1:1-7 ~ By the Power of God



1 Peter 1:1-7 


Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!

In his great mercy, he has given us new birth
into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable

and undefiled
and will not fade away,
reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are protected by the power of God
through faith for salvation

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!



6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.




It's as if Peter met Moses - their thinking is so similar...



Exodus 20:20   Life is a test.

Matthew 17:4
Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters--one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."



And then again, Peter did meet Moses. And Peter probably read all he could about Moses with new eyes and interest. Father God is interesting. Moses explains to the Children of Israel the Name of God, His Mercies, Acts and Abilities, Vast Wisdom, His Holiness and Righteousness.

Peter had a job. To build the unheard of Church we have known to exist for Two Millenniums. Peter was given vast resources on that mountain. Peter then witnesses Jesus come back down the mountain to deal with inept Disciples, a desperate father and son, and the ability to cope as life got very, very trying. Jesus was approaching His Time of Sacrifice. Peter, First Pope, building Jesus' Church sees Jesus cope with emotional crisis and necessity of ministry.

God is - Wise. To give Peter such ability. Gracious to have Peter as an Eyewitness to the Impossible to connect to Moses of 1200 B.C. (Which places this timeline correctly with David's genealogy and Pharaoh Seti II with Salt Papyrus 124.)

God has prepared Heaven to come to earth. The Good News is the astonishingly detail oriented Creator of All. Ancient of Days. Prepares Peter and will prepare us for the good works He has prepared us to walk in.





Hebrews 1 tells us of Angels, explaining Jesus is much superior as the Messiah and Father God's Only Son.

1 Peter 1 is explaining the Ascension of the touchable, eating, teaching, boldly proclaiming Jesus is very permanent. Far better news for us than Moses. And yet - - - Peter is going to know Moses and His Bible - far better now that Jesus has introduced them.

JESUS is ALIVE!!!

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ

Abba, our Father,

Praying with Jesus for Wayne's full recovery.

Exodus 14:29-31 ~ The people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea






Exodus 14:29-31


29 The people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.

31 Israel saw the great power that the LORD used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the LORD, and they believed in the LORD and in his servant Moses.




The Lord told us in Exodus 20:20 life is a test. And Exodus 14 tells us in the midst of the miraculous - the Children of Israel  -walked.  In direct contrast with Jesus -  John 6 tells us the boat Jesus was in 'immediately' arrived at the other side. The Children of Israel could have 'immediately' arrived in Israel - Father God has different plans for each of us.

Abraham believed Father God and is considered righteous. And several times Father God repeated His Plan to a very doubtful Abraham. Abraham demonstrates to us - in asking for lives of mankind in a neighboring city - God fully answers prayers.


The Lord sees a balance in prayer and Acts of God. The Children of Israel would walk a long, long path. And Abraham made mistakes to try to 'help' and 'further' the Plan of God. A Balance of doing work in faith and a balance of waiting on God to Act.








We are do something Jesus approves of:



We don't neglect to feed - the only existence we truly have for our essence  - we feed the portion Father God lives in and calls eternal. We give our soul - nourishment. Going to Church. Conversations about Father God. Reading Scripture. And doing Prayer ongoing. Listening to Christian Radio. Singing to ourselves.

As we feed our soul Grace we believe in as God's Gift to us, we believe we are Jesus' Beloved, we believe the Promises of God - we have self-esteem. To love the Lord Father God and believe He calls us His. Jesus says love ourselves. We find we are in healthy self-esteem.

We are walking in faith - putting wood on the fire of the furnace of Faith. God has called the Gift of the Holy Spirit - Comforter, Teacher - a Fire. God surely enjoys seeing us tend the Fire of Faith. With Hope and Expectation.










I was watching "Curb Your Enthusiasm" Today. It's frankly off the beaten Path. And it's a study on the lack of filters society has. The way we take our selfishness - deal with other's selfishness. It's the direction we take our emotions and the conversations around us and deal with life. Seriously out of the Purity Path. Selfishness, imposition - conversations on direct dealing and forgiveness. A Documentary of being in the zone we call Life. It's astonishing to go to lunch in real life and hear, "it's not what she said, it's the way it was said." It's astonishing to hear a television program discuss drinking unfiltered water being a target of life for 3 weeks in loud and demanding conversation. The adventures of where the line goes in "Mom, he/she is touching me, make them stay on their side of the line." And I think this might be a Documentary Feature Of Every Life For Mortals. Definitely not what Jesus Would Do. But definitely what Jesus had put upon Him.

The Cons of finding how to put selfishness on others. Asperger's. Bad Behavior. He did get his car repaired 3 weeks faster by claiming hideous rudeness - falsely as Asperger's. Life is an unusual surprise of the good, bad and very ugly. Life works better with
compromise. The myth of life is Power and Rudeness and Loud Complaint shakes out the prompt response. God is always demonstrating to us  - patience and steadfast belief and Love covers and maintains and creates thriving.


God calls Salvation going through the eye of a needle. Life needles us. The fact the 'eye' is there is very much a blessing. We have to see God in all conditions - and use the conditions as fire for our faith. "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is a lesson on tough love, rudeness, and determination forgiveness is the true way to Love. Life gives us zones for backing up into the Gospel and seeing Faith Triumph while the usual is to be reconsidered and asking Jesus to do as He says "Let us Rise From Here. Arise."

We are soaked in the culture around us. Find the Path of Joy and Righteousness. Jesus told us about Vineyards 26 times. Life is about swift water - we do well to find the right Current.



We all have circumstance of Exodus 20:20 - Testing.

Here I go with my analogy:

Our White Crepe Myrtle is really marvelous. Our Neighbors praise the tree and trimmed bushes to see the Tree display this incredible Beauty. It's really fabulous. And then the berries look like green grapes. This tree even has a beautiful multi-colored trunks.

As a life result of the Tree, we have white petals that float perfectly on the blue pool. If lack of tidiness annoys you, you will be bothered by the petals of the flowers. Surely they are cleaned up and, surely. they will decorate the pool's surface again. Fortunately, by God's design the flower petals are hardy. And as we swim in the beautiful blue (that really was the color when the pool was filled) we are swimming in the sky and surrounded by clouds.




We always have the opportunity to wonder,
in all circumstances,
ask and see what God gives us is His Plan.
Joy in seeking the Blessing.






Abba Father,

We would ask the Blessing of Praying with Jesus to You, our Father. Today
Philippians 4

Therefore, my brothers and sisters,
you whom I love and long for,
my joy and crown,
stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!


We ask to be of the same mind in the Lord. Contend at Jesus' side in the cause of the gospel, with whose names are in the book of life.

Rejoice in the Lord always.

I will say it again: Rejoice!

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation,
by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.

And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and
guard your minds in Christ Jesus.


Finally, brothers and sisters,
whatever is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable
—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy
—think about such things.

Practice. And the God of peace will be with you.


We rejoiced greatly in the Lord to hold up lastingly and steadfastly,
renewing again our Prayer together
to You, Father God,
concern for our cares and lives, the cares You hold and know dearly -
for the ones we dearly love,
Opportunity to show to the people You have given us.

For our Nation Trusting in God.
Asking humbly for Your Blessings upon our Nation - leading to good opportunities for our employments, families, marriages, friendships, housing, health care and dearly held concerns. Covering our Nation we debate as dearly as our families - we pray for all Hope, Love and Joy. We ask Peace and education for this Nation.

Surround our Father's Good Creation, with all of the Nations trusting in You. For all the Beloved today asking prayers circling this world all the day and all the night of each season. Asking better weather - rain and weather moving on providing us all with good Light and good Rain.

We Trust in You, Father God.

2 John 1 ~ Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father's Son, in truth and love.

1 The elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all who know the truth, 2 because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever


3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, 
from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father's Son, 
in truth and love.


 I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father. 5 And now I ask you, dear lady--not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning--that we love one another. 

6 And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it. 

7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. 

8 Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. 9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Where would this road go?

Acts 1

The Children of God gather together!!!

A new earth and a new Heaven, The Son of God has given His Father.

your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father. 5 And now I ask you, dear lady--not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning--that we love one another.

6 And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning so that you should walk in it.







Where would the road go - Very, Very Far.



Revelation 1

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11 saying, "Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea." 

12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. 

14 The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, 15 his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. 

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, "Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades."













And.... What does this mean to us today?





If we gathered honest opinions about the Scripture - we would see different people see various aspects of the Journey of Life. We all be drawn to a different ascpect of the Chapter. Scripture is alive to give us light to our Path.

Not all of us would hold our hand up to say we vote for this particular full Chapter. Is this Really What Jesus Would Do?

If we traveled to the time of Oliver Cromwell, we would find the Stockades would work nicely. Particularly - someone not embracing the correct Christian Party Line - an infidel who tried to have Ham on the decadent idea of Christmas Day. The Gospels would tell us those on fire for the Lord Jesus would have a parallel -

1 Timothy 3:1
The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.


With a Parallel in this:

1 Timothy 3:1
6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil.


A newbie is going to be too intense about verse 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, 11 for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.






Where would Jesus have met the Antichrist?

for many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.

Jesus met these several times. His Brothers arrived to take Jesus home. His Brothers arrived to tell Jesus to flaunt himself at the Festival. The Brothers of Jesus denied His Ministry and Place with Father God. Jesus managed to not ruin the possibility of their salvation. Nor did Jesus fall into an SNL Chuch lady Upset.


Jesus has given us Grace
Mercy
Peace












What other Parallel has the 2 John 1


Luke 14:26
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.


If Jesus had gone on home, shucks, with the folks when they wanted Him to come home from His ministry. Instead, Jesus believed He could walk the Plan and Path and Purpose of God and in Loving God - God would have the Love become a Circle. A nigh well impossible task. Jesus was demonstrating Loving God First, Jesus - Himself second - to not take the awful Brothers advice to display all His Rock On Powers at the Festival in a "Hey, I'm God waaaay." Jesus had to place His Brothers third - believing God would take them all through the Eye of the Needle to God's Own Salvation.

The Luke 14:22 Quote

a beloved quote of the horrors of the Righteous inflicted on the Comfortable.

Who could we apply this to?

Jesus never went back to the Temple to Sing Jesus Christ Superstar. Jesus let His Temple have the multitudes gather to know Jesus is God - after Jesus' Name created many, many, many miracles in His Victory over Death. Jesus: The Evidence - Ian Wilson writes a Rabbi of Lyracantha  34 A.D. was in despair of the tremendous, unceasing, utterly amazing, never-seen-before, "He Healed Them ALL" Level of Miracles during the days after Jesus ascended to Heaven. The Rabbi felt a new Way, Truth Life would leave the Jews out of God's future.

Once again - Again, Jesus displays His Belief that given some Bible, some Holy Spirit, some Prayer, some Time, some Blessing of God - seed and sower - that mankind will find the world is God's Ability to save in Jesus Christ.






And that brings us to Wavy Gravy. Real Life. Today. Now.


We had the best weekend with two couples we've loved from Church for 20 years. One of the weekend guests has traveled a road of up-down all-over faith. Ministry Team Volunteer, Large Purpose Useful Church Volunteer, Agnostic. Believer. Bible Reader. Snotty Athiest. (Oops, I said snotty atheist. Oops.)
And all discovered the sheer joy of mercy. Discussions on the Political Tension in Israel due to Presidential Changes. Things people usually discuss mildly - not really. In fact, the hard-bitten atheist was a little teary over the mercy and sincere compliments and encouragement.

Sincere Mercy is a Slice of Heaven.




Recently, I was treated to breakfast. Where an Agnostic said, "How could God be So Rotten that a human being doing their sincere best would have to suffer Hell or Death." And this was repeated several times with Anger. And then a real quiver of sadness. The sadness was not intended to be displayed. And quickly met the emotional clean-up of the Red Alert Stiff Upper Lip. Anger is not so reachable. But the sadness of a God that "doesn't exist" to "exile" a "Child of God" is just - - - Heartbreaking.

There is only one answer. God only wants our Sincerity. And in the emotional disconnect of doubt - God would only reach out His Hand. Jesus continued to help the man who had a son and had doubt. Especially when the man cried out, "Help my disbelief!"

Jesus met with people who were traditionally not the included ones. The Syrian Phoenician Woman gave Jesus just respect. The Respect melted God's Vast Heart. Sincerity, Mercy - Love - Go far Far FAR.


Father God,

When Jesus prays with us, we have the results of His Love. We ask this Blessing.

Our cares, our loved ones, the people You give us - Covered by the Love and Name of Jesus. 'Holding this Nation and all believers of Jesus in God's Immeasurable Grace. Strengthening us in His Inexhaustible Mercy. And His Peace to go far, far, far trusting God to proved Abundant Life as we Love the Lord and work according to His Purpose. 

Amen and Amen and Amen in Jesus.

Psalm 54


The Lord Upholds My Life

1 O God, save me by your name, and vindicate me by your might!

 2 O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth!

 3 For strangers have risen against me; ruthless men seek my life; they do not set God before themselves. Selah 

4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. 5 He will return the evil to my enemies; in your faithfulness put an end to them.

 6 With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good. 

7 For he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.





David knew a few caves and lived in a very wide, open, ditch in Ziklag.






Caves exist in life. And so do ditches. A cave is a great place to hide and explore. And get stuck. Caves are generally dark. We all have caves. We have thoughts - we say as believers, "Oh, Sorry God. Sorry about that."

We have opinions we don't want riding a bicycle or an airplane with a thought banner over our heads. Private opinions. Caves exist in our thoughts. To Father God, Who Creates All of Creation and our minds and cells and thoughts - "No desire is hidden and every thought is known."

Genesis 1,2 and Proverbs and John 3:17 tell us Father God sees into 'mankind' for 'millenniums' and decides to save us. Very Good News to know. Wow. God sees us as we are and invites us to eternity with Him.

Ditches are wide open. Sun shines in. There is no roof. A fine time to realize we have no caves to God. "Father God, Abba, know me, know my heart, know my being, see every particle, Live in me. I need Jesus. Amen."






We can all pretty well understand David screaming a prayer. In fact, we do understand what David is saying. Help God! Help!

1981. Have you ever been chased home from a wedding in a car followed by 3 goons in another car - SCREAMING things you don't repeat - when you are 18 years old? And they are coming out the windows and you are in a car with 3 teenagers and a cousin? And the chase goes on about 7-10 Miles. Being Screamed at about rape, knives and murder. Find a fire or police station and watch them disappear FAST.

I can pretty well guarantee you - never once in the next year did I apply, "Love One Another" to That.

We can all go home now - we have summed up the difference between the wars of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Thank you. Or should we talk about the 4 hour radio program I heard about a woman, who with subterfuge, survived a serial killer rapist in Pennsylvania and how her 2 grown children feel about the survival 30 years later. She was the only survival and he placed her living body on the heaps of the other dead women and let her live.

After 30 years she is learning to sing. Again.




Now the Truth is - this is a very, very rare situation. Her family has begun, for 5 years, to think about the Scriptures and forgiveness. How is this story going to affect our lives? It's a powerful thought. We will hunker down and worry about parolees getting mercy and heinous crimes. News stories blare and blare and blare and for many years - we failed listening to Major National News to realize - we have to all forgive.


We need our news to explain how rare this is. We have to Celebrate Life. We have to TRUST GOD. And in trusting God we need to remember neighborhoods gathering for trust and comfort. We have to dust off our tables and have the friends we know. Put work into fellowship. In Trusting God - we go forth and go forth and Thrive.

We all hunkered down and suspiciously looked at Halloween candy. Aren't you glad to know it was ok???

And yet the word "Betrayal" happens only to people we gave our hearts to. And if we hunker down - we can get really, really, really sterile 'safe and secure' lives. Sterile.



Jesus told us this:



We go far, far, far, far, far further when we Trust in the Lord.


If we all sit at home and watch TV. We are comfortable. But you could have had dinner at your house potluck. And it could be  - you meet someone new in your own home.

If we all sit at home - we will spread out. And if you asked your family or your neighbor or your friend - you have exercise in jogging and walking and bicycling. The National average of friends per person in the USA is - 2.

If we invite someone to Church now and then to a Bible Believing JESUS Loving Church - they might join. And if you do this 5 times a year - one will work. Do you realize if one family begins to attend Church across the USA in one year we could increase the Church by 25% (now I read that, but something good will happen!!!).

How are we going to tell anyone about GOD??? Like this - "Oh no, I'm so sorry, I will be praying for you!" "You want me to pray for you now?" Almost EVERYONE would love to have someone just simply care and pray over them. Last year Chris and Cindy prayed over me by their invitation - My Heart is Still Warm.


God is expressed when we Love one another. When we say, "I KNOW what God Loves about You...!!!" Love has something that Love requires - Sincerity and being genuine. Flexible. Forgiving.

We explain God when we encourage one another genuinely.



The book "The Shack" says we are a garden. Mark 1 - the Gospel of Mark would agree - the wilderness has straight paths and is a garden. Lost a pet? There are so many hoping for a home. Plant another rose in your life. Been betrayed? Trust again. There are so many hoping for a home. Have grief and loss of a loved one? There are so many hoping for a home heart to care.

Abundant Life. Jesus knew what He was saying. We go far in faith. We go far trusting God allowing us to trust one another.




Holy Father, Abba,

Today I trusted You. Let us smile as we close the day. Another Day of Life.

Today I prayed with You. Let us smile as we begin a new day. Another Day of Life.

Today I worked to care for a Loved One. I loved on Your Beloved. I celebrated Jesus in this.

Today I worked to care for the People You have given me. I celebrated Jesus in this.

Together, Father God - You and I have Celebrated Abundant Life Today.

Fill with Your Joy, Love and Holy Spirit - the ones we Love.

Fill with The Holy Father - the ones we are given by You.

Fill this Nation - Trusting in You with Abundant Life and the caregivers of Government fill with Your Love.

Fill our employments, our communities, our cities, neighborhoods and Bible Believing Jesus Loving Churches.

Fill the Nations Trusting in You with Joy and Love and Peace.

Surround Your Creation with the Beloved holding the world in prayer minute by minute.

We will smile and Celebrate Another Day of Life. We go far trusting in You Father God.

Alleluia and Amen in Jesus. Amen and Amen.
