Hebrews 7:21-28 ~ He always Lives

Hebrews 7:21-28

“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
‘You are a priest forever.’”

22 This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.

23 The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24 but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever.

25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost
those who draw near to God through Him

Since he always lives to make intercession for us.

For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.

27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.

28 For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law,

appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

Mount of Beatitudes

What I find about Good Friday, holding my heart, in any-and-all-manner of remembrance of our Jesus, is the acute desire to have seen one full day of the ministry of Jesus Himself. I do not want to know of the sufferings of Jesus after making the blind see, Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus), Zaccheaus is loved, Matthew gives Jesus a party to include all the needy thugs, Mary and Martha are loved and comforted by Jesus. Lazarus comes forth to be called a Friend of Jesus for Millenniums.

I don't want to spend a day thinking of Jesus as gone. I don't want Jesus to suffer. But I want to be counted as Righteous in the sight of God as the Gift of Jesus Christ. And in remembering Jesus saying a Sparrow doesn't fall that the Creator of All Things doesn't know and hold as memorable, then I remember again, how I want to see a day of Jesus walking as Truth and Grace. Grace upon Grace. Choosing to live in Beautiful Capernaum.

And I give to you this sermon of a summer day, when today someone I've never met, we spoke on the phone- we thought together  the only gift of Pandemic is to remember what we have temporarily lost and never held up as possible, as this Blessing was uncounted.

Isaiah 53

Who has believed what he has heard from us?

And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

2 For he grew up before him like a young plant,

and like a root out of dry ground;

he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,

and no beauty that we should desire him.

3 He was despised and rejected by men,

a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;

and as one from whom men hide their faces

he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he has borne our griefs

and carried our sorrows;

yet we esteemed him stricken,

smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions;

he was crushed for our iniquities;

upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,

and with his wounds we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray;

we have turned—every one—to his own way;

and the Lord has laid on him

the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,

yet he opened not his mouth;

like a lamb that is led to the slaughter,

and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,

so he opened not his mouth.

8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away;

and as for his generation, who considered

that he was cut off out of the land of the living,

stricken for the transgression of my people?

9 And they made his grave with the wicked

and with a rich man in his death,

although he had done no violence,

and there was no deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him;

he has put him to grief;

when his soul makes an offering for guilt,

he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days;

the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied;

by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,

make many to be accounted righteous,

and he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many,

and he shall divide the spoil with the strong,

because he poured out his soul to death

and was numbered with the transgressors;

yet he bore the sin of many,

and makes intercession for the transgressors.

Blessed in Jesus to be Merciful.

John found God to be Love. Love covers a multitude of sins. Blessed are the merciful they shall obtain mercy.

If we learn nothing more in this Pandemic, let us remember how merciful we have behaved.

Let us always remember Mercy.

Let's ask from our Jesus for His Mercy going forth. And remember again how beautiful is the Life God has given to us we almost passed by without realizing all the riches He has really given us.

Abba,

We have been Blessed in so many ways we never even considered the richness of Life.

You have given us Jesus, our Wonderful Jesus.

In the Mercy of God Everlasting, we ask to live again in these Blessings.

Covered in the Love of Jesus Christ, we Bless You we have been Blessed

to Seek You First. To Live Life in Love, Peace and Joy.

You are not a God Who is small. Your Desire is to Save the world in Jesus Christ.

Your Good Creation You Proclaim yesterday, today and tomorrow.

In the Name of Jesus, we ask Your Love cover a multitude of sins. Including not even realizing

the richness You have given us in Abundant Life.

Today we stop to say to You, Thank You for Jesus Christ for ourselves, the ones we Love

and the Hope and Future we say bless those in the generation ahead. In Jesus, Amen.

Psalm 110 ~ The Lord is at your right hand

Psalm 110

A Psalm of David.

The Lord says to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies your footstool.”

In the Supper of the New Covenant, Jesus has placed (as John and James asked) His Disciples to His Right and Left side.

John's Gospel Chapter 13, we are able to see the reclining seating method positions of the four people involved in one of the conversations mentioned in the Last Supper: Jesus, John, Peter and Judas. Jesus Hosts the Last Supper, so reclined at the head of the table, in the middle of the centre couch. John, the Beloved Disciple, immediately to the right of Jesus, so his head would be level with the chest of Jesus. John would then be able to lean back and whisper to Jesus without the others hearing. Verse 23, the Greek text: “Falling back on the breast of Jesus."
The seating arrangement of the People, is the same.
The shape of the table could be arranged several ways.

In Formal State Dinners, the Head of Table is the Center of the Table.

Head of Table Roman Meal

Jesus felt Psalm 110 was so important, He mentioned this.

Mark 12
35 While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, “Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David? 36 David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared:

“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
until I put your enemies
under your feet.”’

37 David himself calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?”

The large crowd listened to him with delight.

We can answer why this Plan of God's is so unanswered. The eyes seeing Jesus understood very well:

This Bulla is found exactly where Jeremiah 36 wrote in 596 B.C.. In the House of David. The bulla is identified as Baruch, son of Neriah. Found in late twentieth century A.D. and housed in the Museum of Israel, today.

Jeremiah 36:4
So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and while Jeremiah dictated all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.

John 18:40
They cried out again, “Not this man, but Bar Abbas!” Now Bar Abbas was a robber."

The Talmud recording the Sanhedrin at the Time of Jesus is in Scotland. The Talmud identifies the recorded discussion by Bar - Son of. If they had discussed Baruch ' Baruch Bar Neriah'. Thousands traveled to see Jesus. The crowds knew Jesus the Carpenter's Son. Jesus of Nazareth. The Sanhedrin discuss Jesus by calling Mary daughter of Heli. Luke 3. Joseph is Bar Jacob. Matthew 1.

The crowd listened in Delight because Jesus was teaching Jesus is the Son of Kings of David's Line. And Son of David, Non-royal. God has made provisions of Jesus as David's Line to the right and to the Left. The Peace in this delight of the crowd is the Abundant Life in God's Provision. The Plan of God has been fulfilled in all expectation.

John and James wanted Abundant Life to sit right and left. God provides as God Plans.

In the glimpse of the Hope of Holy Week, the first glimpse of Hope, we find God is putting us at His Right Hand. We are part of His Plans.

Peace. God's Plan is sufficient. His Plans will have a Hope and Future.
God's Timing will occur. Peace.

God is Giving us help to rule over our fears.

2 The Lord sends forth from Zion
your mighty scepter.
Rule in the midst of your enemies!

3 Your people will offer themselves freely

on the day of your power,
in holy garments;
from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours.

4 The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
“You are a priest forever
after the order of Melchizedek.”

5 The Lord is at your right hand

He has shattered kings on the day of his wrath.
6 He will execute judgment among the nations,
filling them with corpses;
he will shatter chiefs
over the wide earth.

7 He will drink from the brook by the way;

therefore he will lift up his head.

During the Middle Ages, the Bubonic Plague was widely considered to be the wrath of God. This thought isn't to be rethought as modern man looks down on the history of mankind. The beginning of the Renaissance was enlightened. The most common death before the Plague was starvation. One in three died of starvation. A complete lack of mercy. Serfs were owned and would die of malnourishment and overwork. Half of the women were prostitutes and money was arranged by family or husband. The priesthood was celibate since the 1200s; and the priests had one or two wives, concubines and plenty of children without marriage. After the plagues, mankind was freed and the Renaissance began. The Age of Enlightenment.

What would Pandemic bring mankind? According to Jeremiah in 590 B.C., The New Covenant would tell us God Himself lives in us and we wouldn't need preaching to explain His Holy Spirit dwelling in us. God Himself tells us of His Holiness. We have been asked by a repeating message as we listen online to the Ministers, we Love. Pastors we lean in to. And Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Catholic Church, NYC. The message we hear asks us to find God leading us from dark into the Light of Christ. We will have memories of this time and be asked to explain this for generations to yet be born. In His Holiness, what will this time bring to us to favorably Changed? Even sorrow produces maturity. For many, we won't have the answer... yet.

Romans 5

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In His Time.

2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoiced in hope of the glory of God.

Faith is our assurance, this time will have Hope in His Glory, we have not seen yet. During the years I lived in Pennsylvania, my friend's father, Jim, spoke of the Spanish Flu influencing the life of his mother in Philadelphia. All her life she said, "If you can survive Spanish Flu, you can survive anything." This gave her bravery. She spoke often of the two baby twins in the news of 1918. One lived and one died and both were in God's Plan. The living twin lived to be 83 and often thought of her twin. The other twin would not forget her sister on earth.

Romans 5
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings,
knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame,
 because God’s love has been poured into our hearts
 through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

We would honestly mutter rejoicing in our sufferings draws away from the strength of the Verses. God's Timing. We remember surviving 9-11 and the horror of learning the details. News seeking as we do - today. These sufferings will never be placed in the category of finding the missing sock. Because understanding required feasting. The Book of Revelation is the sadness in the Holiness oF God ending the life of mass murderers, Hitler, Stalin to protect the Beloved of God. Revelation has a glory in understanding the old order passes on and we find His Plan for His Heaven. Rejoice? Can be understood as "Astonished Care". We are cut to the very quick and find we have, "Astonished Care" as united to support the precious Rejoicing of Life.

Jesus tells us He gives Abundant Life. As we are thrust into, "Astonished Care", we find the every day is mundane in this Complete Awareness.

We in Astonished Care, are thrust into Great Shared sufferings, knowing  suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

In God's Time, we will find what His Holy Spirit has placed in us to Love those we Love more clearly and value Life Abundant. Our God would have other portions of our time on earth to understand personal messages of God. In large medical trauma, healing has phases. We will know more as the days unfold.  Faith is our assurance God has a Hope and Future for you.

7 He will drink from the brook by the way;
therefore He will lift up His Head.

Abba,

Even in Crisis we can have Beauty.

I dreamed of my mother's mother, my Grandmother Anita. She said to me, as a glimpse of her, from her Heavenly Home: "Each day is quiet at times and filled with quiet. Each day just put our hopes in Jesus. And as time progresses - we have done Exactly what Jesus has asked. The Plan of God we will not hurt, or impede or cause to be dismissed - as we believe Jesus is working today. Because Jesus is, of course, working today. With us. Around us. In us. Jesus is God. Jesus is King. We will believe Jesus today."

Anita prayed and even after her death, we saw her prayers answered, even more than a decade later. I dreamed of my grandmother twenty years after she passed on and felt her lovely spirit.

Because Jesus is Emmanuel - God the Father, God the King, God the Holy Spirit with us.

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Father Almighty,

God in Three Places Blessed Trinity.

Father God, You are in our Thoughts, in our past, in our present and in our future.
You are part of our wonderful memories, You are part of our tarnished Blessings, You are part of the Building of Blessings and You will provide amazing days ahead.

God of the Impossible. God of the Eternal. God You own time itself. And John found You to be God of Love who appears to John one Sunday Afternoons saying - "Do not be afraid! This is Jesus!" Revelation 1.

We trust You Abba, with our Lives. With our Brokenness. We trust You with our Forgiveness. We trust You and take the right path. We trust You to work the Plan You have Given. We Trust You with the People we Love. We Trust You with the People we need to pray for more - You have given us. We trust You with the arrow prayers of the people we see in need of Prayer. In fact we trust You dearly with these Prayers. Father God - You are saving the world in Jesus.

In our Freedom, we want to seek God first, to find Your Heaven upon earth. Glimpsing Your Heavenly Kingdom. To Live Love, Peace and Joy.

Thank You. Blessings Upon You, Father God in Jesus.Life, Eternal Blessings. Amen.

Hebrews 11:1-35 ~ faith is the assurance †

Hebrews 11:1-35

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.

6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

7 By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.

13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18 of whom it was said, “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 19 He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back. 20 By faith Isaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau.

21 By faith Jacob, when dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, bowing in worship over the head of his staff.

22 By faith Joseph, at the end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones.

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that the child was beautiful, and they were not afraid of the king's edict. 24 By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25 choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.

29 By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.

32 And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets—

33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection.

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 13:3
A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

John 15:11
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you

and that your joy may be complete.

John 3:17
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through Him.

1 Peter 1:12
 It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.

Daniel 7:9-10

 “I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
10 A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated,
And the books were opened.

Matthew 25:53
Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and
He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
 How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled saying it must happen this way?

John 5:26
For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.

John 15:10
If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My Love,
just as I have kept My Father's commandments and remain in His Love.

Philippians 2:8
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself
and became obedient to death--even death on a cross.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
