John 1:43-51 ~ Believe you will see Greater Things

Abraham Lived under the Oaks of Mamre at Hebron, Israel

Abraham was visited by Angels

John 1:43-51

43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.”

44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”

Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”

48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?”

Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

49 Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

50 Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

Ezekiel 17:22-24

22 Thus says the Lord God: “I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. I will break off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.

23 On the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it may bear branches and produce fruit and become a noble cedar. And under it will dwell every kind of bird; in the shade of its branches birds of every sort will nest.

24 And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the Lord; I bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish.

I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.

Jeremiah 23:4-6

I will raise up shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or dismayed,
nor will any go missing, declares the LORD.

Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD
when I will raise up for David a Righteous Branch,
and He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.
In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely.

And this is His name by which He will be called:
The LORD Our Righteousness.

Matthew 13:31-32

Jesus put before them another parable:
 “The Kingdom of Heaven
is like a mustard seed that a man planted in his field.
Although it is the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree,
so that the birds of the air come
and nest in its branches.”

Matthew 19:14

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Revelation 21:24-26

By its light the nations will walk,
and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.

Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.

And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations.

Abba,

May You discover in our souls Gratitude You've given to us for Jesus Christ.

As we lift our cares and our loved ones to Jesus,

May You give us Heaven's dew and the earth's riches.

An Abundance of earth's grain and new wine.
Living Bread of Jesus and the Fruit of His Holy Spirit.

Amen Let us be Covered in the Name and Righteousness of Jesus, Your Son, our Savior.

Philemon ~ the hearts of the saints

Philemon

1 Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother,

To Philemon our beloved fellow worker 2 and Apphia our sister and Archippus our fellow soldier, and the church in your house:

3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, 5 because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, 6 and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.

7 For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.

8 Accordingly, though I am bold enough in Christ to command you to do what is required, 9 yet for love's sake I prefer to appeal to you—I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner also for Christ Jesus— 10 I appeal to you for my child, Onesimus, whose father I became in my imprisonment.

11 (Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.) 12 I am sending him back to you, sending my very heart. 13 I would have been glad to keep him with me, in order that he might serve me on your behalf during my imprisonment for the gospel, 14 but I preferred to do nothing without your consent in order that your goodness might not be by compulsion but of your own accord.

15 For this perhaps is why he was parted from you for a while, that you might have him back forever, 16 no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother—especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

17 So if you consider me your partner, receive him as you would receive me. 18 If he has wronged you at all, or owes you anything, charge that to my account.

19 I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it—to say nothing of your owing me even your own self. 20 Yes, brother, I want some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.

21 Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.
22 At the same time, prepare a guest room for me, for I am hoping that through your prayers I will be graciously given to you.

23 Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends greetings to you, 24 and so do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.

25 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Acts 2:42
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Scriptures explain Scripture.

Psalm 38

A Psalm of David

O Lord, rebuke me not in your anger,
nor discipline me in your wrath!
2 For your arrows have sunk into me,
and your hand has come down on me.

3 There is no soundness in my flesh
because of your indignation;
there is no health in my bones
because of my sin.
4 For my iniquities have gone over my head;
like a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me.

5 My wounds stink and fester
because of my foolishness,
6 I am utterly bowed down and prostrate;
all the day I go about mourning.
7 For my sides are filled with burning,
and there is no soundness in my flesh.
8 I am feeble and crushed;
I groan because of the tumult of my heart.

9 O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you.
10 My heart throbs; my strength fails me,
and the light of my eyes—it also has gone from me.
11 My friends and companions stand aloof from my plague,
and my nearest kin stand far off.

12 Those who seek my life lay their snares;
those who seek my hurt speak of ruin
and meditate treachery all day long.

13 But I am like a deaf man; I do not hear,
like a mute man who does not open his mouth.
14 I have become like a man who does not hear,
and in whose mouth are no rebukes.

15 But for you, O Lord, do I wait;
it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer.
16 For I said, “Only let them not rejoice over me,
who boast against me when my foot slips!”

17 For I am ready to fall,
and my pain is ever before me.
18 I confess my iniquity;
I am sorry for my sin.
19 But my foes are vigorous, they are mighty,
and many are those who hate me wrongfully.
20 Those who render me evil for good
accuse me because I follow after good.

21 Do not forsake me, O Lord!
O my God, be not far from me!
22 Make haste to help me,
O Lord, my salvation!

I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner also for Christ Jesus— 10 I appeal to you for my child, Onesimus, whose father I became in my imprisonment.

15 For this perhaps is why he was parted from you for a while, that you might have him back forever, 16 no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother—

Abba,

Mercy, peace and love be Yours in abundance.

Petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.

“King of Righteousness”; then also, “King of Salem” means “King of Peace.”

We ask You, Father, for more Heaven on this earth for Your Good Will. To live Your Kingdom, Power and Glory finding You First. To live in Love, Peace and Joy. To bless those we Love with all of this in Jesus Christ.

To bring His Love forward for the life we lead and in our lives.

To Have the Holy Spirit give Comfort to our Nation trusting in You.

And all Nations coming to Your Brightness!
For the comfort of China in this virus.

The Light of the World in mankind. Open our eyes to see this in Give us this day!

To be blessing finders!

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,  equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ,  to whom be glory for ever and ever.

Amen in Jesus Christ!

Psalm 42:7 ~ Deep calls to deep

Yesterday social media used this painting, to express deep frustration with the zippy answers of Faith.

Rarely since 2007, starting this blog, do I reply to mocking God. The anger of man does not product the Righteousness of God. This painting was used. :/ Jesus pointing at the far right and saying, to the baby, that man killed your family, but he repented so now he is in Heaven with you.  Let's go say hello. A frustration George Carlin would show late in life, after decades of fame. Pat, simple, repeat answers to faith used to vastly annoy him.

"Yar" is a word used a lot in the Hebrew Scriptures. Yar is translated quickly as Fear. Fear God. Yar would translate with more care as, "Reverence." Applying the translation of the well used word, Yar - let's put Scripture to answer this question. First addressing the humor.

“The source of all humor is not laughter, but sorrow.” Mark Twain

The first impression I had to this social media was the movie, "Places in the Heart." Incredible harsh life, meets the blind, the widowed, the unfortunate, the wolves ready to tear and destroy the innocent. The Good Fight to find God and help. Enduring, Persistent, Every Day Work to Believe God and Overcome in Jesus. Meets Heaven. Communion of Heaven. The Blood and Body of Jesus Christ healing all. Tenderly. Eternally.

Psalm 42:7

Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me.

Faith isn't the ready and quip answer. It's the Good Fight to believe with sincerity God's Promise in Life. Jesus for you. Forever.

Psalm 42:7
Deep calls to deep
at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me.

We might be able to quietly speak of this in public. And then in our heart, God Almighty, Knows we understand the full Word of God.

Psalm 42:6-8
6 O my God, my soul despairs within me.

Therefore I remember You
from the land of Jordan and the peaks of Hermon—even from Mount Mizar.

7 Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls; all Your breakers and waves have rolled over me.

8 The LORD decrees His loving devotion by day, and at night His song is with me as a prayer to the God of my life.

To truly feel anger at the Forgiveness of God, is to experience hell on earth. What would God Alpha and Omega say?

Revelation 6
9a I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.

10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

This just isn't your typical Heaven, Revelation 6. Lazarus and the rich man -  Lazarus is told to us from Jesus and His Gospels. So many times in the Gospels, Jesus uses the Word "Immediately." And we find, like so many who have had near death experiences - Jesus is right there with you and Heaven is immediate. John reported this in Revelation Chapter One, like near death experiences, the walls melt and Jesus is and has always been with you.

This Revelation 6 is allowing time to mellow and forgive in More Grace of God. God is recognizing horror, gross injustice and His Will. No surprise, God is answering the deep calls to deep questions.

If we look at this, my gut reaction is to raise my hand and say, "I forgive!!! Help me, Jesus to forgive any, any, anything that seems unresolved. AMEN!!!" Whew. Let me be like the father of the son, the Disciples couldn't help. But WHEW, Let Jesus be Present. Thank God. I want John 6, Jesus caused the boat on the Sea of Galilee to reach the other side immediately. I Love Jesus and this is the boat I want to be on when the Saints Come Marching In!

Psalm 42:7
Deep calls to deep at the roar

God, to Whom all hearts are open, would call to the sorrow of someone understanding the gut wrench of God's Forgiveness.

Jesus would take the time to be with the lamb hunkered far away and looking with dread at a Kingdom allowing a forgiveness so large.

Joel 3

“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land, 3 and have cast lots for my people, and have traded a boy for a prostitute, and have sold a girl for wine and have drunk it.

4 “What are you to me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Are you paying me back for something? If you are paying me back, I will return your payment on your own head swiftly and speedily. 5 For you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my rich treasures into your temples. 6 You have sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks in order to remove them far from their own border. 7 Behold, I will stir them up from the place to which you have sold them, and I will return your payment on your own head. 8 I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far away, for the Lord has spoken.”

9 Proclaim this among the nations:
Consecrate for war;
stir up the mighty men.
Let all the men of war draw near;
let them come up.
10 Beat your plowshares into swords,
and your pruning hooks into spears;
let the weak say, “I am a warrior.”

11 Hasten and come,
all you surrounding nations,
and gather yourselves there.
Bring down your warriors, O Lord.
12 Let the nations stir themselves up
and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
for there I will sit to judge
all the surrounding nations.

13 Put in the sickle,
for the harvest is ripe.
Go in, tread,
for the winepress is full.
The vats overflow,
for their evil is great.

14 Multitudes, multitudes,
in the valley of decision!
For the day of the Lord is near
in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon are darkened,
and the stars withdraw their shining.

16 The Lord roars from Zion,
and utters his voice from Jerusalem,
and the heavens and the earth quake.
But the Lord is a refuge to his people,
a stronghold to the people of Israel.

The Glorious Future of Judah
17 “So you shall know that I am the Lord your God,
who dwells in Zion, my holy mountain.
And Jerusalem shall be holy,
and strangers shall never again pass through it.

18 “And in that day
the mountains shall drip sweet wine,
and the hills shall flow with milk,
and all the stream beds of Judah
shall flow with water;
and a fountain shall come forth from the house of the Lord
and water the Valley of Shittim.

19 “Egypt shall become a desolation
and Edom a desolate wilderness,
for the violence done to the people of Judah,
because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall be inhabited forever,
and Jerusalem to all generations.
21 I will avenge their blood,
blood I have not avenged,
for the Lord dwells in Zion.”

Heaven restores. Restoration. With the Wisdom of Truth God the Almighty is Himself.

God, our Father, has walked this exact path in Forgiveness.

Suppose God Himself is to deal with depraved murderers. We could call on the name Jesus and look at Caiaphas. Caiaphas relics in archaeology are the sarcophagus not holding enough dust to remember Ezekiel. And his house holding Jesus on Good Friday. Visited to see this site, held in honor of Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel 37
3 And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” 4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

Jesus our Lord, we can follow His Path in Life and Heaven. Caiaphas murdered Jesus with lies and false witness. From His Cross, Jesus forgave Caiaphas. We are not given the ability to sit on the Right Hand of God and find what did happen to Caiaphas.

We could quote this.

Revelation 21:8
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.

The reason Caiaphas is not held up to answer all the questions about forgiveness is an important question. While Jesus is never recorded as sitting to have dinner and communion with Caiaphas in life and not even in the Resurrection; we have to also allow Jesus to be God and not our judgment.

Jesus died for all of us to have salvation we can not buy, rent or have except by Faith. According to God, we are the people.

Acts 3

12 And when Peter saw it he addressed the people:
“People of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk? 13 The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.

14 But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15 and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses. 16 And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.

17 “And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18 But what God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ would suffer, he thus fulfilled.

19 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, 20 that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus.

Logistically,; Heaven is said to be 7 levels and 10 levels. Joel 3 describes multitudes of people and Revelation says Heaven has too many people to count.

Revelation 22:1-3
22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month.

The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.

Abba,

Your child Thanks You for Your Mercies renew each day. We thank You to send the Christ appointed to us, Jesus.

We lift up our cares to You to Carry. The Battle truly belongs to You.

Your Strength is our strength, when we are weak. And in this Comfort, we find our Joy.

Your Great Love causes Joy to pour out from us to give to the ones we Love and make the Path of our lives Joy to You.

So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.

Thank You for Your Way, Truth and Life. Prophesies speaks to mankind, to the Light of Jesus Living and working within, for our edification, encouragement, and comfort. You have put eternity into mankind's heart, yet so that we cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Help us to be joyful and to do good as long as we live. God of encouragement help us to please You as we seek the Kingdom of Heaven first. God of Love, help us to live in Love, Peace and Joy.

And in this Love, please cover those we Love in Jesus Christ as well. Let our Yes be in Jesus Christ.

With Your Kingdom, Your Power and Your Glory, bring more Heaven to earth for Your Good Will. And for all of Your Good Creation, we know Jesus is Here for Your Glory where we Rejoice. Amen in Jesus.

Isaiah 33:2 ~ Strength

Every Day!!!

Jesus meek and mild. Jesus got milk toast? CMON. Jesus has R.E.A.L. Personality. Vim. Vigor. Wit. WAY. Truth. Life. Surely we are the People and Wisdom will die with us...Yep - Sayings of Jesus Christ.

Look at Our Jesus.
He is working!!!

John 5;17
He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working."

Surely Jesus Christ Superstar, rock opera by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, had Herod Type - and -Cast.

Jesus knows in the Fullness of God the Father Almighty What is Coming Next. And Jesus chooses to - Work 'with'.

And HE said to them, "Go! And tell that fox!

Giving Herod appreciation for his style and cunning political craftiness -

Behold!
I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow,
and
the third day  -

I finish my course.

Nevertheless,
I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the day following:
for it cannot be that a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem.'

Something to think about - Jesus likes us to be centered and unswayed.
When the objective is far and a Way better than - draining a swamp.

Got a Pity Party?
Consider this Baby Shower.
Matthew 1

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. 19 And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. 20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel”

(which means, God with us). 24 When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, 25 but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.

Not your typical Baby Shower.

Hurtful circumstances. Where is the righteousness? You'd have to ...
Believe...
Give Credit...
Hope for the Best...

This Child of GOD is not in the palace where the Magi knocked. The Light that dwells in all of Mankind, was stuck.

Stuck in a Cave with, probably, a Stone crib.

Life.

Taking what you've been given, and expecting God will work His Plan. Jesus was in that smelly, cave barn surrounded with Light and the Parents, God gave Him, who would gaze at Him with Love. Working better Faith, Hope and Love out of irregular, uncomfortable, unloving circumstances with rudimentary elements of Joy.

Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters, “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:16, 18-19

Father, Holy Father
Our Holy Father

This Post is running a little late, I had eye dilation for
eye surgery pre-tests. Please bless my eyes with good health.
Thank You my eye scar is reduced from 40% quite large and the findings are
now workable and small. Thank You. Thank You so much.

I lay my head to rest,
and in doing so,
lay at your feet
the faces I have seen,
the voices I have heard,
the words I have spoken,
the hands I have shaken,
the service I have given,
the joys I have shared,
the sorrows revealed,
I lay them at your feet,
and in doing so
lay my head to rest.

Through the dark hours of this night
protect and surround us,
Father, Son and Spirit, Three.
Forgive the ill that we have done.
Forgive the pride that we have shown.
Forgive the words that have caused harm
that we might sleep peaceably,
and rise refreshed to do your will.
Through the dark hours of this night
protect and surround us,
Father, Son and Spirit, Three

May the God of peace
bring peace to this house.
May the Son of peace
bring peace to this house.
May the Spirit of peace
bring peace to this house,
this night and all nights

Jesus Our Salvation,
Love,
Lead, Guide, Encourage,
Teach,
Strengthen and Protect
Nurture and Be the Light spreading
more Heaven on this earth
and from our lives,
You are our Alleluia. Amen.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
