2 Corinthians 3 ~ beholding the glory of the Lord

The First Day of the Ministry of Jesus Christ. Maybe we could call this the numbers of prayers, the first day of the Virus.

2 Corinthians 3

Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,

8 Will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?

9 For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, 
the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. 10 Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. 11 For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.

12 Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, 13 not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. 14 But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. 15 Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. 

16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, 
are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.



The Spirit Gives Life.

If we could see the Prayers we are all getting adept at offering to Father God. We are told Father God inhales our prayers.

We know the Northern Lights appear at night and the Morning Sun is far brighter; we have not received what God would give us as unfading. We are given glimpses through a mirror darker.

1 Peter 5:4

And when the chief Shepherd appears, 

you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Abba,

You have put everything under Your feet.

We belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

There are different ways of working, but the same God works all things in all men.

You are our All in All. The Light of mankind. Light of the world.

Please hear our prayers and fill us with Jesus to Your Glory and we will be saved. We pray for our family, our Nation, Italy and the World.

Ephesians 6:1-20 ~ Put on the whole armor of God

Ephesians 6:18
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints

Ephesians 6:1-20

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), 3 “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” 4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

5 Bondservants, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, 6 not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free. 9 Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.


Trust in the Lord that as quickly as this has changed many lives, this will end.

Thank God we are not looking at our children and anticipating loss of full lives or permanent change. Not Polio.

Be cautious with your thoughts and prayers. Picture Jesus as Living Water, bringing Spring forth and washing harm away.

Be alert, today as I drove in our neighborhood, I saw 5 anxiety burdened drivers making slow, yet erratic driving decisions. Perhaps this is suddenly texting, but the driver is not fully alert.

• When we see the woman weeping in public for fears,
• when we find such upset in loss of employment as a steady rhythm of life,
• when we see anger
• when we see the slow drift of drivers who are far away from their actual activities and they are observing quieter streets
•  Pray, to have a heart, to cover us all in Jesus Christ.

Exercise with positive music is beneficial with prayer and being grateful for our lives and future.

This is a time of sudden change and sudden idea surge.

Consider, Our Father God. We belong to our God.

The Blessings and Promises of God surround the Law. The Law in Jesus Christ is orderly and loving. Love one another.

Taking our daily chores, making new chores, considering not the future as vastly different, but Thriving and Planning and Recovering. Step and then step and then Hope. We say this, pray this, because it's scary and we will Go Forth in Christ Jesus. We don't say hope with a shrug, we work at Hope and Find Joy.

1 Timothy 3:4
He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect.

Again, we will Live this in God's Living Word.

Matthew 8:26
And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

The Lord God has told us the Holy Spirit will pray effectively for us!

Thank God we can just say or think Jesus and

God in His Glory finds this Prayer Enough.

Romans 8:26 

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.

 We do not know what we ought to pray for, 

but the Spirit himself 

intercedes 

for us 

through wordless noises

Like Sighing. Edward has been sighing. He really doesn't do this. 

But finally, I'm alert and aware to remember this verse.

P.S. Jim - we have been praying for had a large mole on his shoulder,

and this was in recovery for a year long heart infection, so when they found this was something to take care of a while back, we have prayed this would not be as terrible as they were suddenly aware of this mole. This week they found the removal of the large mole, the shoulder above the heart difficulty -  was actually only just barely malignant. The sudden finding and urge to remove it, discovering it was a year on the shoulder - they found God has been Gracious and the Removal

took out the very tiny malignancy.

Even when we forget to add pray for the people we see in trauma for this sudden change, and later rePost the - oh yeah remember - moment. Even when we are recovery from cardiac recovery and discover a large mole has been there a year. Even when we are the people drifting - God will make us aware. So Sigh all you want, hope for the future and know Jesus is the One Sent of God and Answers our Prayers in whatever format the Good Shepherd finds our prayers in. Thank GOD!

How Great is our God. We have lived past Polio, Cuban Missile Crisis (the end of the World according to the Bible is fire), Gas Shortage Forever and Ever (this ruins life and sitting in line for 3 hours there is plenty of time to think about this),  many odd Flu Virus from different Countries. We have all had Prayers Answered Amazingly. Work on plans, Hope and Faith and remember Love.

So Short Prayers Count.

Hello Father,

Thank You today was alive. We ask Your Mercy and Healing.

We ask for a Miracle. We ask to have Some of Your Strength.

We Gain in concern for one another.  All Seasons have Growth. We do not just protect ourselves, we protect one another. And with all my heart, this Nation to be Healthy. And sorrow for Italy to find Healing.

To ask Your Help to have Your Holy Spirit to Seek You First and Your Kingdom, to Live, in Love, Peace and Joy. Hope.

Cover the Ones we Love in Jesus. The people You give us. We know You Will and put down anxiety.

In Jesus we are Free. Amen.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, 2 since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. 4 I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. 8 For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. 9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. 

10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 
11 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 

14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 

22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. 24 Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

Jesus in the Boat with us. Living, working God.

Lord God, we ask in the Name of Jesus this virus will stop.

We ask for healing. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

This is the first USA Virus day I've seen Temper on Social Media. Temper in public. Cussing. If we boil down temper, we find this is, "WHY?" and "Who Will We Put in The Stockades?"

I've felt down myself. And uplifted to walk and see so many families biking, walking and playing tennis. Doing Social distancing.

Do you remember the 1970s orange hand  placed in first story windows? It meant if you are child walking to school and a pervert wants to kidnap you, then ring my doorbell and I'm safe and will call the Police and shelter you, child.

Today - the traffic to the very necessary (eyes are on the mend upon some surgeries) Eye Doctor was mild. It was an uncharacteristically slow noon. Fast food, really fast food, restaurants were jammed. Especially Sonic for dine in your car. And the Spring Break Beach Goers are in full motion. 1. I wish with all my heart I was the age to be on the Beach. I vote for the total end of this Virus. I pray it. 2. I really would like us all to be on the beach and the beach sounds great. 3. I'm not going to beach or herd. The Hospitals are very, very horrified at the crowds.

4. The fast food restaurants are jammed because parents are frantic to work, make a paycheck, pay bills and get home to the children.

5. Social Media was completely angry we aren't doing like Denmark and the U.K. to place the elderly in safe housing and the rest work.

6. Until our mild State of Texas had an exponential rise in the disease by the end of the day in our part of Texas.

7. I'm not going to the beach because my brother has a friend in his attorney office, (THE TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE!) who has had Covid 19 for 6 days from a High School Basketball Game. His co-worker friend had the illness within 4 days of the HS Basketball Game. Her extended family of 10, does not have it. (Hopefully we don't have to add, yet.) His friend was given the advice to shelter at home and she has been very ill with breathing issues and High Fever. She did not feel this was a walk in the park. She is in recovery. It was scary.

8. We should all consider what color of shirt we will stamp "2020 Survivor". Will it say, "I Had Covid 19 and Lived".  Or today "96% and 85%."

The Truth is all these hands we put a number by, are all trying to Live.
All Hands are actually for Living. I am so very pleased, we have had less complaining than expected. We have moved into a policy to try to do well - with many opinions. 7.000 people in New York City were tested - today. We are experiencing some walk across the rigid aisles of Republicans and Democrats as New York Governor Cuomo said Trump was working so hard and planning with many opinions. We are formulating a Virus End by the increasing hospital beds and keeping the massive wave of infection to a minimum to avoid flooding the emergency medical event and bring us all an equal chance to survive this and have the beds and equipment - President Trump was forgiven for being in shock in the very beginning and getting extremely good advice to avoid swamping hospitals.

Number of Tests, increase please. Use of college empty dorms for makeshift Hospital Rooms - brilliant.

What would help us all is a Miracle. Something God is Familiar With.


Abba, Father God,

I rejoice to remember the days my sons were young enough to return home during times like this. Bless the families together.

Bless the families gathering. Bless the families apart.

Help us to live with Seeking You First and Your Kingdom, Love, Joy and Peace.

Families tend to enjoy one another and then require friends their own age. Bless us to figure out 'at home.' But Really Father God, we pray to End this Virus. We pray the health of the world.

So many years, when my family lived in France, we loved to travel in Italy and Florence. Bless the Italians. Send Mercy. End it if this is the little buggy critters living in old buildings. End anything causing this spread. Let peace and healing come to the Italians so known for Gracious Comfort and Joy.

Help all of Europe and the trouble seen on Johns Hopkins map https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html to show peace and healing in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Fortify and nourish us with Hope.

We put our cares with You, knowing how much You Care for us.

Midday Prayer
My eyes will be dilated today, I will try to do an evening Post, if I'm able.

Matthew 14:13-21

13 Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” 16 But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” 17 They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” 18 And he said, “Bring them here to me.”

19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 20 And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. 21 And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

In the midst of His day, a day filled with requests, endless ideas of what they perceive God to be, ideas of what He should be, their joy, their pain, their trouble, Jesus acted lovingly.

So much need. So many requests. With God, He will find a way.

Israel was named for Jacob - who believed that blessings should be multiplied. Jesus lived this in John 6 -  the boy with the fish Jesus multiplied to feed thousands.

Matthew 9:36
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.


Who are these people peppering Jesus with their prayer requests? It is us. Jesus as the Son of God can speak a blessing over God's provision. How can we do less?

John 5:17
Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”


1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.


Abba, Father God, 

I am going to the Eye Doctor today for procedures leading to YAG laser and the other eye cataract. Seeing is more than optional surgery. Please pray for the Doctor, nurses, aids, clients and family for all to be well.

I remember during the Height of the Swine Flu, I was asked to take a friend to the Emergency Room Downtown. We were there for about 9 or 10 hours and didn't come home infected. We pray this happens again.

In this life we hunger for permanence and, in fact, what is permanent is Spiritual. When we clothe ourselves in the Breastplate of Righteousness You tell us of in Ephesians 6, of this armor. We need only put this on  and one time in our lives - with faith in Jesus' Righteousness covering us. Abraham believed God and this was counted to him as righteousness in Father God's eyes.

This is fine to remind us, however, once is only needed for Spiritual armor.

In Romans 8, Father God You say when we believe we are justified by faith, and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We obtain access to You by faith and this Grace is where we stand. We can stand in awe and rejoice in Hope because of Your Mighty Glory.

In Jesus we endure, solve and overcome our difficulties - we can rejoice every day - this overcoming produces character, character produces hope and Hope in Jesus Christ does not put us to shame. God's love pours into our hearts as the Holy Spirit has been - given - to us.

Father help us to remember to take our blessings to bless others. Like You have done here.

In Jesus Christ we clothe ourselves, the ones we love, the people God has given us, our Churches, our Pastors and our Nation and all the Nations of God with His Word -

Father God, You are Vast as the Universe You created and You respond to faith. In the Highest Name of Jesus we clothe ourselves, the ones we love, the people God has given us, our Churches, our Pastors and our State and Nation and all the Nations of God with His Word:

Help us be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Putting on this full armor of God, to be able to stand your ground stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around our waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with our feet fitted with the gospel of peace. The shield of faith. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

 And in Jesus we ask to Seek You First and Seek Your Kingdom, To Live in Love, Peace and Joy.. 

For this Virus to not advance world wide and the healing of people. 

Bless us Father as we see this Nation striving to protect one another and our children.

Amen in Jesus.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, 

that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.


4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.

Love One Another

11 For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. 15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.


16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.


19 By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; 20 for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; 22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24 Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.


We wanted to see the Movie, "I am Patrick." USA Today said the facts were done very well. https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/movies/2020/03/16/st-patricks-day-fact-check-i-am-patrick-movie/5029705002/ However due to Self Quarantine - supporting all people - we stayed home and hope for a Later Movie Release to see this well done movie of Patrick (British) in the 5th Century.

Instead we watched the BBC Sutton Hoo Helmet. The backyard 1939 discovery was found by a widow recovering from her grief with her young son during a type of self quarantine/isolation.

Sutton Hoo helmet was King Rædwald of East Anglia and found as the whole UK Nation was enthralled to find the description of the iron one piece helmet is described in Beowulf.

And 1 John 3 suits the Sutton Hoo Helmet perfectly.

The Two Spoons are Baptismal Spoons.

Evidently King Rædwald preferred to be Sprinkled in Baptism.

The Spoons are engraved to Jesus and to St. Paul

Wodan is recognized to be a god of war - Satan. 1 John 3, we read today, fits as the BBC explains Woden about 19 minutes. King Rædwald leaves Oden and Caesar. Reverts some and is buried with Jesus on his right shoulder.
