Psalm 104 ~ sing among the Branches

We know, today, the lightning of the earth is connected. As if the magnetosphere is connected around the planet and pings from the Sun and solar flares.

Psalm 104

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God,
You are very great!

John's 21 Chapters are all about the Glory of God's Only Son and do not use the Greek word "Dynamis" Power, instead John uses "dynatia" powerless. God sent His Son - The Father of All - Creator of the Universe - sent us Jesus. Grace upon Grace.

Jesus walked among the powerless and found among us "Joy." God has told us in all our situations - He has also lived and found Goodness.

Jesus told us of seeds and situations - then, instead of just speaking the Beautiful Words - He Lived and died and rose.

Jesus rose to serve breakfast and be asked about His choices, and saw the Disciples bicker. Jesus then chose to be the Risen God who walked to Emmaus with amazing grumblers. Astounding. And He chose to spend time with 500 from the Multitudes.

Jesus saw John the Baptist be killed by petty power and sat with His People of 5,000 by the Shining Sea of Galilee. And being God - this meal has fed us for 2,000 years. Not just 5,000 people. Jesus doesn't use the word Power because we are 'shone' to seek God  and to love and believe our Father God.

You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
2 covering Yourself with light as with a garment,
stretching out the heavens like a tent.

3 He lays the beams of His chambers on the waters;
He makes the clouds His chariot;
He rides on the wings of the wind;
4 He makes His messengers winds,
His ministers a flaming fire.

5 He set the earth on its foundations,
so that it should never be moved.

6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
 the waters stood above the mountains.

7 At Your rebuke they fled;
at the sound of your thunder they took to flight.

8 The mountains rose,
the valleys sank down to the place
that You appointed for them.

9 You set a boundary that they may not pass,
so that they might not again cover the earth.

10 You make springs gush forth in the valleys;
they flow between the hills

11 they give drink to every beast of the field;
the wild donkeys quench their thirst.

12 Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell;
they sing among the branches.

13 From Your lofty abode You water the mountains;
the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your work.

14 You cause the grass to grow for the livestock
and plants for man to cultivate,
that he may bring forth food from the earth
15 and wine to gladden the heart of man,
oil to make his face shine
and bread to strengthen man's heart.

16 The trees of the LORD are watered abundantly,
 the cedars of Lebanon that He planted.

17 In them the birds build their nests;
the stork has her home in the fir trees.

18 The high mountains are for the wild goats;
the rocks are a refuge for the rock badgers.

19 He made the moon to mark the seasons;
the sun knows its time for setting.

20 You make darkness, and it is night,
when all the beasts of the forest creep about.

21 The young lions roar for their prey, seeking their food from God.
22 When the sun rises, they steal away and lie down in their dens.
23 Man goes out to his work and to his labor until the evening.
24 O LORD, how manifold are your works!

In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
25 Here is the sea, great and wide, which teems with creatures innumerable, living things both small and great.

26 There go the ships, and Leviathan, which you formed to play in it.
27 These all look to you, to give them their food in due season.
28 When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand,
they are filled with good things.

29 When you hide your face, they are dismayed; when you take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

30 When you send forth your Spirit, they are created,

and you renew the face of the ground.

31 May the glory of the LORD endure forever;

may the LORD rejoice in His works

32 who looks on the earth and it trembles,
who touches the mountains and they smoke!

33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being.

34 May my meditation be pleasing to Him,
for I rejoice in the LORD.
35 Let sinners be consumed from the earth,
and let the wicked be no more!

Bless the LORD, O my soul!
Praise the LORD!

Abba, Father,

Father, we ask for Comfort.
And Help.

We want to be the beloved disciple.

Thank You for Your Salvation.

I prefer Lord, with deep gratitude,
to thank You, You paid the price for me.

Knowing nothing I could ever do would save me,
only the Goodness of You being innocent
and taking my stripes for me.

Father,
The Forecast is for such hot weather, records broken,
yet with 60% chance of rain.

In Your Mercy, please break the heat first.
The Grid of Texas is not holding well.
People will suffer.

Watch over our Nation,
help in this difficult time.
Help the Brave and Good
to Triumph.

We lift up Maui
to you.

The worldwide weather conditions
on so many levels.
Your Good Creation.

Help Rain to Prevail, please,
we ask in Jesus' Holy Name.

I will not fear, but trust You as life unfolds, You dwell with me.

When my life requires me to be bold for you, be brave,
let Your unfailing Love and Steadfast Mercy
lead me in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake.
I so acknowledge each day,
I need Your Salvation.

In Jesus, we ask
Dwell in us, Father
Send Your Holy Spirit as Helper
Dwell in those we love
and
Help us to seek You first
And in Jesus,
we will finish well.

Lord Jesus. Amen.

Psalm 89 ~ O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon You

Psalm 89

 Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer me,
    for I am poor and needy.
2 Preserve my life, for I am godly;
    save your servant, who trusts in You—You are my God.

3 Be gracious to me, O Lord,
    for to You do I cry all the day.

4 Gladden the soul of your servant,
    for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5 For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
    abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon You.

6 Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer;
    listen to my plea for grace.
7 In the day of my trouble I call upon You,
    for You answer me.

8 There is none like You among the gods, O Lord,
    nor are there any Works like Yours.

9 All the nations You have made shall come
    and worship before You, O Lord,
    and shall glorify Your Name.

10 For You are great and do wondrous things;
   You alone are God.

11 Teach me Your Way, O Lord,
    that I may walk in your truth;
    unite my heart to fear Your Name.

12 I give thanks to You, O Lord my God,
with my whole heart,
    and I will glorify Your Name forever.

13 For great is Your steadfast Love toward me;
   You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
14 O God, insolent men have risen up against me;
    a band of ruthless men seeks my life,
    and they do not set You before them.

15 But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious,
    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me;
    give Your strength to your servant,
    and save the son of Your maidservant.

17 Show me a sign of your favor,
    that those who hate me may see and be put to shame
    because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

Edward bounced back from aspiration during his Colon Scope. Thank You, Lord. And thank you for your prayers for Edward.  He went out the next day to Disc Golf and today. Today, the waters were stirred indeed. The men saw rain and lighting. Louisiana has been so dry and it rained. We can't ignore seeing mildly twice in a week. And lightning today.  Conroe, Texas is without power tonight for 3 hours, which cannot be pleasant in this heat.

Psalm 65:2

O You who hear prayer,
To You all men come.

Psalm 65 and Psalm 86 make a point of saying many men come to pray. Mankind and nations comes to ask God their prayers. Because... we see prayer is answered.

And we will boldly and with confidence go before the Lord in times of trouble. To ask and seek, where God says He will gift an answer. We will receive.

If we are going to worry about Lightning in Rain. Or trees in high wind from drought, to remain strong. If the electricity goes off for hours, we have received the opportunity to pray.

The Lord favors us. The drought is late in the summer, as the temperatures cool at night a little lower. And the water in the rivers, creeks, lakes and Gulf of Mexico will produce a reaction to the temperature change to allow the High Pressure to move, as water evaporates, chills and is warmed.  We have reached a season to Pray for the Favor of God.

Jacob asked to marry Leah. He didn't ask for Rachel. Nor their maids. Suddenly, Jacob had 12 sons to feed and many wives and concubines. And God provided his family and made provisions. Laban, his father-in-law, wondered if the spotted sheep, Jacob's sheep, were given advantages and Jacob was cheating Laban. Of course, Laban would worry about this, he was habitually cheating a cheater.

How many more stories of the Bible are like Oliver Twist asking for more, please?

1 Samuel 1:10

In her deep anguish
Hannah prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly.

1 Samuel 2:1
Then Hannah prayed and said:
"My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high.
My mouth boasts over my enemies,
for I delight in your deliverance."

And Hannah began to have many more children.

Abba, Father,

May the Lord make you increase
and abound in love for one another and for all,
as we do for you,
so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness
before our God and Father,
at the coming of our Lord Jesus
with all His saints.

Now may the God of peace
who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
the great shepherd of the sheep,
by the blood of the eternal covenant,
equip you with everything good that you may do His Will,
working in us that which is pleasing
in His sight,

Grateful today, Edward's June cancelled, lower intestine twist,
the Dr Visit has been successful because of healing! Grateful, Edward
has bounced back from aspiration during anesthesia.

Your Son, Jesus, taught us He is the Lord of
the storm and the wind.

Yours is the Universe upheld by Your Word.

Yours is the Power.
Yours is the Glory.

Your Heavens above
Rain down upon us
in Jesus' Righteousness and Mercy,
we pray.

Let the clouds shower down upon
the dry and thirsty land.

Let the earth open wide
for gentle rain, and not the storm,
we pray.

Let Your Grace and Salvation
be abundant life to
the wildlife and forests,
the farmers
and the people.

Let Your Mercy and Goodness
help the righteous in Hope
and Faith
to flourish in Your Works.

Lord, You have Created
Your Good
Good
Good
Creation.

Through Jesus Christ,
to whom be glory forever and ever.
Amen.

John 15:1-12 ~ Abide

The dead stick harshly given to the novice nun to water, is today St. Rita's 600-year-old grapes covering the nunnery and sending wine to the Vatican for 500 + years. A miracle of Jesus and His Abba. This is really quite rare.

The vines grow all over the Nunnery and Church.

John 15:1-12

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit
He takes away,
and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes,
that it may bear more fruit.

3 Already you are clean because of the Word
that I have spoken to you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself,
unless it abides in the vine, neither can you,
unless you abide in me.

5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me
and I in him,
he it is that bears much fruit,
for apart from Me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone does not abide in Me
he is thrown away like a branch and withers;
and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

7 If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you,
ask whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you.

8 By this my Father is glorified,
that you bear much fruit
and so prove to be My Disciples.

9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.
Abide in my love.

10 If you keep my commandments,
you will abide in my love,
just as I have kept my Father's commandments
and abide in His love.

11 These things I have spoken to you,
that my joy may be in you,
and that your joy may be full.

12 “This is my commandment,
that you love one another
as I have loved you.

If we could move mountains, that shouldn't be moved... we are not abiding in Him.

4 Abide in me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself,
unless it abides in the vine, neither can you,
unless you abide in me.

Jesus never said to the blind men asking Him for sight, that if they had more faith, they could heal themselves. Jesus never said to the deaf man, He removed from the larger public and healed privately, that the man should have enough faith and heal himself. Jesus never told Jairus' daughter to raise herself from the dead.

Instead, those who abide in Jesus and His love is relied upon to do what we do vaguely, rarely, and with some wobbling. Jesus is God, Messiah, Salvation. God's Only Son Risen Victoriously.

John 15:16

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

John 15

5The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

Mark 5:34

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

John 16:24

Until now you have asked nothing in My Name.
Ask, and you will receive,
that your joy may be full.

 Abba, Father,

Dwell in us, please, Father.
Dwell in those we Love.
Help us to seek You first.
In Jesus Christ, we will finish well.

To see
to bring
to be
more daily
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
on earth
as in Heaven

In Jesus Christ is
Our Love, Joy and Hope.

Thank You for Jesus.

To You, our Father, be the Glory
Amen and Alleluia

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
