Reading Scripture helps us know God's Love. Every Bible verse is written for you. Jesus Christ is all mankind's Light. John 1!

Matthew 12:1-12 ~ I desire mercy, and not sacrifice

Matthew 12:1-12

1 At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry, and they began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, "Look, your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath." 3 He said to them, "Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him: 4 how he entered the house of God and ate the bread of the Presence, which it was not lawful for him to eat nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have you not read in the Law how on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless? 6 I tell you, something greater than the temple is here. 7 And if you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath."

9 He went on from there and entered their synagogue. 10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"— so that they might accuse him. 11 He said to them, "Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." 13 Then he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other. 14 But the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, how to destroy him.

15 Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he healed them all 16 and ordered them not to make him known. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:

18 "Behold, my servant whom I have chosen,
my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased.
I will put my Spirit upon him,
and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
19 He will not quarrel or cry aloud,
nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets;
20 a bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not quench,
until he brings justice to victory;
21 and in his name the Gentiles will hope."

A Sunday a few years ago, I have a blessed memory to sit with my Church family and my mom, her wonderful boyfriend Jack and my husband to hear a wonderful sermon partially on the do not be anxious Scripture. We were God's wheat sitting in His wheat field! Growing on that warm Sunday to be fruitful for God.

Matthew 6:25-34

"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

We talked about a woman who was weeping over more testing needed for re-occurring cancer and was letting me know how she was feeling guilt-stricken that Jesus would not want her to be fearful.

Our sermon was about not dwelling on the hurts of the past to grab the peace God would give us as a gift. A supernatural gift. An amazing thing. The Gift of Peace. Suddenly.

My mom turned to me - glowing - and said it was the best sermon she'd heard in a long time.

God does not want us to suffer in worry over what He is willing to do for us. God is willing to become man, living as truth and grace among us. Understanding our sufferings. Weeping with Lazarus' sisters, freeing people from their illnesses and hurts. Dancing with David in victory.

When we look at today's passage, we see wheat - a harvest of fruitfulness in progress. We see Jesus commenting on getting sheep out of a pit. We have an incredible gift - a miracle of a restored hand from Father God. We are all talking about the same thing. Acts of God. Jesus is telling us His is merciful. Fruit must have time to grow. Supernatural gifts must have room to be celebrated. The man with the restored hand was that sheep in a pit.

The woman who was afraid, about cancer testing, wanted to be strengthened. Jesus is that kind of Savior. He is the Savior willing to be merciful to us as we grow in Him. The lady who was weeping last week, looks forward in hope this week. She did fine and had a very unexpected turn in life to have far more Joy. Never give up on God.

Jesus tells us over and over about God's willingness. This is why in all circumstances, in good times, in difficulty, Jesus is our Hope.

1 John 3

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.
Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

19 By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; 20 for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; 22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24 Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

Acts 1:1-11 ~ Into Heaven

Acts 1:1-11

1 In the first book, O Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach, 2 until the day when he was taken up, after he had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen. 3 He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

4 And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

6 So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” 9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.

10 And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes,  and said:
“Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven?

This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven,
will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Psalm 19

A psalm of David.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;

and
nothing is deprived of its warmth.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
              refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.

10 They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.

12 But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.

14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

It's a little startling this century has so many parallels to the Book of Acts in the First and Second Century.

Lightning strikes are up to a record high. Flooding, Fires, Droughts. Arson. War. Violence. In third world nations, death by Lightning strike due to lack of cover is an incredible ongoing weather map on Weather Underground. This was the same in the first and second Centuries. Even today the Roman History lists the bizarre deaths by Lightning.

Violent Crime was up. Marriage Laws were recreated. Families inherited businesses for stability and, in these centuries, the Roman Empire was as vast in wealth as the USA today - this really only compares additionally to the Renaissance. Trade suddenly had war and violence to deal with. Everyone just felt uncomfortable in general and this was the beginning of walled city states. A general distrust of one another like Halloween candy. People wondered if the end of the world was at hand, this is very Historically accurate.

Gradually, times changed. The Good Sunday School Answer never failing is - Jesus. And the action we find changing the world in the Book of Acts is what occurred to me on Sunday at Church. "May I pray for you now?" A huge hug and an amazing prayer. From someone in their own emotional pain from a recently departed sibling. Few of us live with Ozzie and Harriet families. The culture of life intersects the brokenness of the world. And real hope comes from the real life events brave people share with one another.

What brought about another 1,000 years of Roman Empire? The Expectation of Jesus.

Prayer with belief. Faith. Overcoming what is inadequate. Less than warm. Overcoming what life brings you, to what your soul will willingly expect from God. Doing our best to avoid the abyss potholes to bring Love and Hope. The Book of Acts records ' Prayer. To pray and believe in all answers of prayer - God has answered. Even to say - wait or - no.

Paul is not recorded standing on a pulpit and castigating the culture which was less than perfect. Paul gave Love and parental Love and concern. Paul expected God to bring forth what we could not and for us to Trust God. When we flip through the Paul written with the Holy Spirit pages - we find Paul had an overwhelming Love for the people he spoke of Salvation in Jesus.

Matthew 17:5
He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”

Colossians 3:12
Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience

Ephesians 1:6
To the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

Romans 1:7
To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Consider the Brothers of Jesus, sons of Mary and Joseph

Jude 1:3
Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.

James 2:5
Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?

Abba,

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Jesus to the praise of Your glorious grace, with which You have blessed us in the Beloved.

Beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

We pray and ask Jesus, as in John 17, to pray with us that we will contend for the Faith and remain God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

Beloved Jesus, thank You, I am well pleased; we will listen to Jesus.
And ask Jesus to Bless those we Love with all Your Willing Blessings.

And ask Your Steadfast, Scripture Solutions, immovable, always abounding work of Jesus to Bless the Nation Trusting in You. And have Your Light and Love shine to the Nations, blessing Your Good Creation.

We lift up Dee for healing for her back and shoulder and neck. Jim for his biopsy to be good. And all those asking for prayer. Thanking God for Elliott's Healing.

Thank You, Jesus, Amen.

Psalm 130 ~ Hope in the Lord!

Psalm 130

A Song of Ascents.

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
2 O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness,
that you may be feared.

5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
6 my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.

7 O Israel, hope in the Lord!
For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption.
8 And he will redeem Israel
from all his iniquities.

The photo is good.

The path isn't perfectly Heavenly, and, yet, is not without the Beauty of Heaven. There is seasonality. Some discomfort and some unknowing.

And this is when we realize people around us struggle. And when suddenly the sun isn't shining. When we see those we love, when we can't rush in and fix it. When the places around us change and people are busy. Suddenly - the future isn't what it used to be.

The future ain’t what it used to be. - Yogi

Waiting to hear what God will say and do.

Define insanity as "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"?
This quote is generally attributed to Einstein, however there's significant debate about the attribution authenticity. Mark Twain, an old Chinese proverb and Benjamin Franklin have also been suggested as originators, yet consensus concludes the claim to Einstein.

We have similar daily breakfast. We wonder what to do today to Build to Abundant Life. We want to Bless Others. We hope for more warmth and Love in our lives. We hope to plan our lives in the direction we'd hope to.

Unknowing is a burden. How did this happen?

Well, here is a small map of the known universe.

Ecclesiastes 3
Written by David's son Solomon, the man who built the Temple and saw the Glory of God fill the Temple. And then had the good sense in old age to be Redeemed by God and find larger questions have larger answers from God and His Plan...

10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race.
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart;
yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Does Jesus have a quote for this?

John 16:33

33b In this world you will have trouble.

We have a choice. Every day.

We can find God in His Good Creation.

We can embrace realization of thankful gratitude. By choice. This is different than becoming superstitious to every wind of 'god' nearby. We can remember the Renaissance. All things were seen as from God's Hand. What can we learn. Ask in honesty and sincerity. Even the Smoke on the water and the Fire in the Sky.  Genesis 1 in our lives - our memories and Acts 2 - redemption in God.

Queen Elizabeth II is quoted saying, "When one feels life is too difficult and gratitude is not found, what happens next will be the real disaster."

Discovering Jesus in our soul - by knowing the Scriptures, God's Love and the Power of God. Applications in observation of life. Renewing our souls, heart and lives with the renewal of our mind.

By reading God's Word we find the burden of life having uncertainty is God's Plan. Jesus went on to add Comfort. The Holy Spirit.

John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble.

But take heart!
I have overcome the world.”

John 3:8

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound,
but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.
So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Matthew 7:25

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house;
yet it did not fall,
because it had its foundation on the rock.

God our Refuge. Sanctuary.

Asking in the Name of Jesus.

Matthew 8:26- 27

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?”
Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this?
Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

Matthew 11:7-10

7 As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John:
“What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swayed by the wind?

8 If not, what did you go out to see?
A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings’ palaces.

9 Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

10 This is the one about whom it is written:
“‘I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way before you.’

Here I am, Lord, Send me!

God has given us Gifts. We can all be sent of God. To be prophetic is Faith. Having Faith is God's requirement! To Believe the Word of God. Believing God's Plan is Accomplished. Believing the Battle belongs to God. And our part is to fight the good fight. I believe, Lord Jesus, help me to have more faith! God gives us wisdom when we ask.

Ephesians 4:11-13
11 Christ gave gifts to men.
He gave to some the gift to be missionaries, some to be preachers, others to be preachers who go from town to town. He gave others the gift to be church leaders and teachers. 12 These gifts help His people work well for Him. And then the church which is the body of Christ will be made strong. 13 All of us are to be as one in the faith and in knowing the Son of God. We are to be full-grown Christians standing as high and complete as Christ is Himself.

God would have us grow and know His Peace.

Abba,

We can't always approach You well. Even when You have given us Your Word to come with boldness. There are times we have
anxiety and wouldn't know what to say.

Remembering You told us Your Mercies renew and we will find this.

In the times we have worry, we will remember God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. Your Holy Spirit will pray for us. We can lean into You. And have Your Pinions around us as a hen gathers her chicks.

In the Name of Jesus, we ask Your Righteousness. And our souls will be a wonderful home for You.

Surround us, fill us, fill those we Love with Jesus Christ. Redeem us and Renew us with Your Willingness and we will be Blessed and Blessed. Help us to Seek Your Kingdom and Righteousness first. To Live lives of Love, Peace and Joy.

Give us this day to find our Joy is our Strength in You.

Fill our Churches, Neighborhood, Families and Homes with Your Love. The Exact Nature of Jesus Christ.

We put You, Father, and Jesus in the chinks of the wall, of injustice, of intolerance, of judgment. And Jesus will heal us all.

Bless the Nation trusting in You. Bring all the Nations to Your Brightness, to the Glory of Jesus.

We love to see Your Glory daily. Love Earnestly. Amen.

John 12:1-8 ~ for the day

John 12:1-8

Six days before the Passover, Jesus therefore came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

2 So they gave a dinner for him there.

Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those reclining with him at table. 3 Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

4 But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said, 5 “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?” 6 He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it.

7 Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial. 8 For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.”

  1. Jesus is Proclaiming and Giving Blessings.
  2. There is a life crucial message of the interweaving within conflict, trouble and blessing. We find in Psalm 131. To live with Peace. Faith and Love.
  3. We rejoice to see Jesus have Joy in Life as He told us. Even Moses wanted Joy in Life.
  4.  We are seeing how far, how wide, how Deep the Word of God Travels - which is pretty amazing really.

Matthew's Gospel, 26th Chapter, remembers more from where Matthew was sitting. In intense discussions, we all remember different aspects:

12 In pouring this ointment on my body, she has done it to prepare me for burial.
13 Truly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world,
what she has done will also be told din memory of her.”

Jesus has Blessed her brother Lazarus. With His Word. With His Action. With Life. With His Time. And in doing so - there will be conflict. Where God is - hearts are revealed.

And no matter what happens - God's Plan, His Good Plan will Prevail.

John 11
44 The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

Lazarus is "Unbound and Very Blessed"

The Study of Waves
When waves are studied, the details point at ripples, form waves and waves travel hundreds and thousands of miles even crossing the world and reaching new continents.

2 Corinthians 9:11-15
You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.

Luke 6:38
Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.

Lazarus is unbound, set to go forth and - Blessed - - his sister will be remembered by her kindness, and she will be remembered as Joy to Jesus wherever the Gospel is Proclaimed.

Waves in life are going to arrive. Really we want to have the Faith to have Love and be in His Unshaken Kingdom.

God The Almighty knows how to Interweave to Goodness.

Exodus 1
6 Now Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died, 7 but the Israelites were exceedingly fruitful; they multiplied greatly, increased in numbers and became so numerous that the land was filled with them.

Joseph and all of his brothers became so numerous. Jacob was a ripple. A Blessing. The Conflict of Life and intersection with God.

What a Ripple Effect of Blessing.

Exodus 12:37
37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

James knew he was not always a Blessing to Jesus.
And James knew Jesus was and is always a Blessing to James, His Brothers and the people of God forever.

Mary Rejoiced to find herself in Favor with God.
And then we find Mary is flawed. Her heart held the treasure of seeing God's favor. Mary's life reflects the work God gives mankind - to believe in the One God sent us in Jesus. God's favor is not always found perfectly in Mary's life. Yet God is pleased with her heart. And when we find God knows her heart will hurt - God has made a path as clearly as He did through the Red Sea.

Blessing and Trouble
Jesus told us we will all see trouble in this world. And Rejoice Jesus overcomes.

We always study how Overcoming is to occur.
We will fight the Good Fight - even St Augustine found the need to reassure us the small parts we do for Jesus - Jesus multiplies like the loaves and fish. Heaven has the Parable of Yeast flowing. My Grandmother Anita lived a quiet life and I dreamed a few years ago Anita returned to me and said - whatever small part God gives us to do - today - we Please God to try to Please God. Some days the ability to Please God will be large, some days small - we just Please our God, our Father, God of Love to give Him our heart and try today.

God is God the Almighty
We fight the Good Fight with prayer, with expectation of God's Goodness, the seeing and finding interweaving of hard circumstances and Blessings to see God multiply Blessings. Because - the Battle belongs to God. God calls this, His Holy Spirit - Comforter.

The Talmud records Lazarus, Mary and Martha were put upon the Mediterranean and told to depart.

And they did go forth with the Blessing of Jesus. Unbound and in freedom.
French history records, like John, Lazarus and his sisters lived in a cave seeing the beautiful water. And a local Church records Lazarus was regarded as a Bishop and his sisters lived lives pleasing to God as well. There is a burial place for Lazarus and the Church records a second tomb for Lazarus. Then a third tomb with a Catholic Cathedral moving Lazarus to Spain, to be placed in a Cathedral Altar. Within the last 50 years, the altar was opened. Human dust and fragments were found from over half a millennium since moving the tomb. And a note was found saying, "Here is Lazarus, friend to Jesus."

Abba,

Thank You, Your Mercies Renew. Look in me, the soul You have given me, our Promise of Eternity in Jesus Christ. And help me each day - for You to find in me, "Friend to Jesus." John calls this Beloved of God. Each day, help my life be Joy to You.

Help us to always see our Blessings. And Build upon Your Willing Blessings.

We all have Seasons in our own lives to astonish ourselves.

At the Name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess Jesus.

In my fifties, I am finding my mother to be passing away. My husband to have a terminal diagnosis with three damaged brain lobes. Another family member has reported confusion in advancing age. Causing us to have phone calls across the country with our sons weeping.

We will have a season of travel to family members. A prayer for safe travels.

What has the Body of Christ shown to us? The Holy Spirit.

Comfort. Comforter. Love. Blessings of Care and Love. The Joy of Worship. God is so much more than we can be. His Beloved Light the world.

We are finding like the Michael Smith song, "This is How I Fight My Battles!"

The Comfort God, You have Given. Comfort. Joy. Comfort. To go to Church. To hear of healing from a Stroke. To be prayed for in Church suddenly with embrace and Love.

To be taken to Church lunch by dear friends of twenty years. The comfort of rolling out who you are and your cares and to be Upheld in Love. To remember this prayer history:

Joy in Jesus Christ!

This powerful Prayer History among Friends. Our infant daughter passed during Hurricane Ike. Our friends prayed and we experienced no damage to our home. Even though we had a tornado in the back yard and trees fell. This summer I lost a Large tree - no damage. This summer my friend Dee lost two giant trees and no damage. This Prayer Lives in God's Heart. We prayed for an agnostic cancer of the mouth - very serious - and got back an email to keep praying. No one else was praying. This man was healed as he was scheduled at MD Anderson and surgery was cancelled. An 89 year old Priest with heart failure, in bed never to leave the county again, was prayed for. They traveled to Texas for Thanksgiving with us and Fr Bill walks two miles a day again. We prayed for Elliott and his family. His Blood and Bone Cancer is 20% curable. He is out early from his bone marrow transplant. Zero cancer in the numbers. Why? Simply because Jesus loves the prayers of Faith. Jesus is God.

The Comfort of God's Beloved.

I went for a walk today and my neighbor has added me to her 3 o'clock prayer schedule specifically for those with ill people. For Healing to be found all over the world. We pray together in our homes. The Comfort is Continual. Her husband was yanked back from staff infection facing death in his suddenly attacked heart. He Lives and continues to heal. She believes Jesus. And I have found Holy Spirit Comfort in these Prayers. Wow.

Jim - we will place on our prayer list to be healed from a skin tumor on his shoulder - for a good Biopsy report.

More Prayers Asked.

We will add our sibling, who is a private person, and has found a tumor near his ear with prior serious, serious skin cancer. Remembering we prayed for Edward's incredibly aggressive ear skin cancer and it was completely taken away (quickly surgically and with prayer) from the appearance in two weeks to ear take over - Stopped. 2016.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

A simple blog, scripture-for-today.blogspot

This blog is pretty simple, but for a reason. This blog isn't about agenda or me, it is for the joy and love to found by reading the Scriptures. Ultimately, it is you and the Lord.

The Scriptures are Father God's letter to you. He wanted you to know more, to know He loves you.

Thanks for Joining us today!!!

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
