Psalm 18 ~ Delighted +

Psalm 18

I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.

4 The cords of death encompassed me;
the torrents of destruction assailed me;
5 the cords of Sheol entangled me;
the snares of death confronted me.

6 In my distress I called upon the Lord;
to my God, I cried for help.
From his temple, he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears.

7 Then the earth reeled and rocked;
the foundations also of the mountains trembled
and quaked, because he was angry.
8 Smoke went up from his nostrils,
and devouring fire from his mouth;
glowing coals flamed forth from him.
9 He bowed the heavens and came down;
thick darkness was under his feet.
10 He rode on a cherub and flew;
he came swiftly on the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him,
thick clouds dark with water.
12 Out of the brightness before him
hailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.

13 The Lord also thundered in the heavens,
and the Most High uttered his voice,
hailstones and coals of fire.
14 And he sent out his arrows and scattered them;
he flashed forth lightnings and routed them.
15 Then the channels of the sea were seen,
and the foundations of the world were laid bare
at your rebuke, O Lord,
at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

16 He sent from on high, he took me;
he drew me out of many waters.
17 He rescued me from my strong enemy
and from those who hated me,
for they were too mighty for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
but the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out into a broad place;
he rescued me, because he delighted in me.

20 The Lord dealt with me according to my righteousness;
according to the cleanness of my hands he rewarded me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord,
and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 For all his rules were before me,
and his statutes I did not put away from me.
23 I was blameless before him,
and I kept myself from my guilt.
24 So the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

25 With the merciful you show yourself merciful;
with the blameless man you show yourself blameless;
26 with the purified you show yourself pure;
and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.
27 For you save a humble people,
but the haughty eyes you bring down.
28 For it is you who light my lamp;
the Lord my God lightens my darkness.
29 For by you I can run against a troop,
and by my God I can leap over a wall.
30 This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

31 For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?—

32 the God who equipped me with strength
and made my way blameless.
33 He made my feet like the feet of a deer
and set me secure on the heights.
34 He trains my hands for war,
so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

35 You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.

36 You gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip.

37 I pursued my enemies and overtook them,
and did not turn back till they were consumed.
38 I thrust them through, so that they were not able to rise;
they fell under my feet.
39 For you equipped me with strength for the battle;
you made those who rise against me sink under me.
40 You made my enemies turn their backs to me,
and those who hated me I destroyed.
41 They cried for help, but there was none to save;
they cried to the Lord, but he did not answer them.
42 I beat them fine as dust before the wind;
I cast them out like the mire of the streets.

43 You delivered me from strife with the people;
you made me the head of the nations;
people whom I had not known served me.
44 As soon as they heard of me they obeyed me;
foreigners came cringing to me.
45 Foreigners lost heart
and came trembling out of their fortresses.

46 The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock,
and exalted be the God of my salvation—
47 the God who gave me vengeance
and subdued peoples under me,
48 who delivered me from my enemies;
yes, you exalted me above those who rose against me;
you rescued me from the man of violence.

49 For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations,
and sing to your name.
50 Great salvation he brings to his king,
and shows steadfast love to his anointed,
to David and his offspring forever.

Proverbs 8

Before the mountains had been shaped,
before the hills, I was brought forth,
26 before he had made the earth with its fields,
or the first of the dust of the world.

27 When he established the heavens, I was there;
when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,
28 when he made firm the skies above,
when he established the fountains of the deep,
29 when he assigned to the sea its limit,
so that the waters might not transgress his command,
when he marked out the foundations of the earth,

30 then I was beside him, like a master workman,
and I was daily his
delight,

Rejoicing before him always,

31 rejoicing in his inhabited world
and delighting in the children of man.

32 “And now, O sons, listen to me:
blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Hear instruction and be wise,
and do not neglect it.
34 Blessed is the one who listens to me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting beside my doors.

35 For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord,

Abba, In all seasons, we strive diligently to see the Blessings both Apparent and with work.

Abba,

Thank You for Your Daily Blessings. Thank You.

May the words of my mouth, the meditations of my heart, be pleasing and acceptable to You. Dwell within me, please.

Bless those I love.

Thank You for listening and carrying me. Bless those I Love.

Let the Children of God delight in finding more Heaven on earth. We ask for ourselves, our beloved ones, this nation and the nations of the earth seeking You.

In Jesus. Amen.

Luke 8:4-15 ~ into good soil, grow and yield

Luke 8:4-15

4 And when a great crowd was gathering and people from town after town came to him, he said in a parable, 5 “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the air devoured it. 6 And some fell on the rock, and as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up with it and choked it. 8 And some fell into good soil and grew and yielded a hundredfold.” As he said these things, he called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

9 And when his disciples asked him what this parable meant, 10 he said, “To you it has been given
to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’ 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away. 14 And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. 15 As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

The Gospels are Living and Alive as The Word of God. Today we are thinking not of situations we get into, but our attitudes. The seeds of doubt we sew in ourselves. Prudent. Practical. Factual. Effective truth. No one thinks this. This is uncomfortable. Things Prudent King Ahaz taught his son Hezekiah. The facts we apply to our lives.

Truthfully, we cannot raise ourselves by our bootstraps. We require truthful motivation. Depending upon our inner basis for truth.

Isaiah 61:3
To grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.

Why would God, our New Covenant Father want us to have less than the Garden of Eden in this life. Why have people, conversations, situations, repeat problems try our faith?

The Call to Worship cries out, "Hear oh Israel, there is One God." This is true from Genesis to Revelation.

Adam - in the Garden of Eden - was given work, to Garden.

Abraham was called out of what is Beautiful Turkey today and was the Hittite Nation to rent in a dry land. Abraham had to buy and work and work and work his flocks in a land he bought - being told this was his gift as Father of Nations. Abraham was called to find great depths within himself and to find God's Promises fulfilled.

Bringing us to how God will Daily Bless us - Renewing His Blessings. Loading us Daily with His Benefits.

This is the part touching our lives daily, hourly and with faith, hope and Love.

John 6:29

Jesus replied, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent."

We have Godly work ourselves. To believe. The seeds we put in ourselves have consequences. What we truly Rest upon.

Matthew 13

31 Jesus put before them another parable:

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed
 that a man planted in his field. 32Although it is the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree,
so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”

33 He told them still another parable:

“The kingdom of heaven is like yeast
that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.”

Jesus tells us to Rise.

James 1
6 Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but
be transformed by the renewal of your mind,
that by testing
 you may discern
what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Our Father God wants us to rest on Him and to be strong.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you

This is, without doubt, saying God is the God of Love and try again. Jesus picked 12 Disciples and with all the Acts and Works of God - they are shown to be fearful. Worriers. And Jesus kept them asking Peter, "Will you stay?"

Peter answers, "Where would we go? God (Jesus) gives us the Word of Life."

The Blessing God Gives us - trouble and overcoming trouble to live in Faith. Knowing we are worthwhile and Loved. Father God indeed, indeed, indeed turns on the Light. Within. Emmanuel. God with us.

We Rise and try again. Jesus tells us we have what we need to try again. And with the Spirit of God - we do. Bringing with us the ability to help one another. And in creating the opportunity to bring what Jesus created in John 14, 15, 16, and 17 Joy.

The Words of Jesus are the Word of Life. Saying the Lord's Prayer resets us. Cry if we must, think a new thought, laugh, smile, be all in and called to the Direction Calls us to Jesus. Daily.

Matthew 19:26 ~ with God all things are possible

John 1 tells us from the First Chapter of John's Gospel to the last, Jesus made so many miracles the only way to define Jesus is God's Son, Light of the world. And this is John's eyewitness testimony.

Genesis 1 is the Beginning. The Holy Spirit is also speaking.

Wonder about God Himself. The Majesty of God almost is not contained in human minds. God is without Limits. God spoke the Light into the Universe. Solar Systems. Galaxies. Light from all sides of the Universe. God our Father has called the Heavenly Host by name.

Matthew 19:26

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Abba, our Father,

We thank You this very day for Your Plan of Life for us. Thank You for my life. Thank You for my blessings. Each day you load us with Blessings.

You Created all the Universe and You have given us Jesus.

In this Love, we will live, move and have our being.

We thank You for hearing our prayers with Love.

Bless our Loved ones with Your Willing Blessings.

Bless our Nations with Your Mercy and Help.

Bless all the Children of God to be pleasing to You, asking more Heaven on earth in Your Goodness for giving us Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Father God, We Thank You - Jesus is in LIFE

Jesus is The Light of the world
Jesus is the Light of mankind
Jesus is exact Nature of You, our Father.
Jesus is Joy and Love. Amen.

Psalm 45 ~ Grace is poured upon Your Lips

Psalm 45

To the choirmaster: according to Lilies. A Maskil of the Sons of Korah
A love song.

My heart overflows

with a pleasing theme;
I address my verses to the king;
my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.

2 You are the most handsome of the sons of men;

grace is poured upon your lips;

therefore God has blessed you forever.

3 Gird your sword on your thigh, O mighty one,

in your splendor and majesty!

4 In your majesty
ride out victoriously

for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness;
let your right hand teach you awesome deeds!

5 Your arrows are sharp
in the heart of the king's enemies;
the peoples fall under you.

6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever.

The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;

7 you have loved righteousness

 And hated wickedness.

Therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions

8 Your robes are all fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia.
From ivory palaces stringed instruments make you glad;
9 Daughters of kings are among your ladies of honor;
at your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.

10 Hear, O daughter, and consider, and incline your ear:

forget your people and your father's house,

11 and the king will desire your beauty.

Since he is your lord, bow to him.

12 The people of Tyre will seek your favor with gifts,
the richest of the people.

13 All glorious is the princess in her chamber, with robes interwoven with gold.

14 In many-colored robes she is led to the king,

with her virgin companions following behind her.

15 With joy and gladness they are led along
as they enter the palace of the king.

16 In place of your fathers shall be your sons

you will make them princes in all the earth.

17 I will cause your name to be remembered in all generations;

Therefore nations will praise you forever and ever.

When we consider the grandeur of Empires, we sometimes forget the colossal wealth of the Temple of God in Jerusalem. The Children of Israel left with the treasury of the slaveholders. The Temple was made of Acacia wood and then covered with pure gold. Hezekiah was raised by his father King Ahaz to start tearing the Temple to pieces to ask the Assyrian Empire to be a client or puppet king.

Hezekiah gave the Temple doors and stood and decided all the 'prudent' lessons his dear father had given him were what? Hezekiah decided the Spirit of God would deliver him. Hezekiah decided the Spirit of God would Deliver Judah. Hezekiah went against every prudent lesson taught to him and begged Father God to save them. And the reign of Hezekiah is filled with more Holy Spirit than the reign of Solomon - and according to Scriptures and accompanying archaeology - Hezekiah was extremely prosperous years for the Children of Israel on all levels. The people of God gave such amazing works - today you can visit Jerusalem and find the water tunnels - beautifully built - the people volunteered to dig to make siege against Assyria. The water tunnels were useful but unneeded. God was Triumphant.

The people gave overwhelmingly to God. Awakened in soul and heart - the Children of God delighted in the Amazing Works of Father God.

Bringing this closer to our part of His Story ~ The 1987 Movie "Princess Bride"

The Grandson is having a sick day and the Grandfather comes to explain...

Grandpa : Are you kidding? Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes,

true love, miracles...

The Grandson : Doesn't sound too bad. I'll try to stay awake.

Grandpa : Oh, well, thank you very much, very nice of you. Your vote of confidence is overwhelming.

The child has no idea about Grandeur. The true events of our History. God's Story. Fortunately, the child is now awake.

When you think of any small town you love, today, you see the small town has a history of prosperity and slow times. Most small towns exist to be loved by the mom and pop stores. And when we are very fortunate the stores will last 30 or 50 years. Sadly a lot of small towns have 10 years before Mom and Pop want a new adventure. Today we are in love with large chain stores and restaurants - no surprise - hurry in and out. Comfort like a 747 - you carry all you know with you.

We are a lot like Fred Savage.

And in knowing all about us ~
When Jesus is explaining Heaven - to us - He is telling us of His Grand Design for a vacation. No. Jesus is telling us - He loves us so much- loves every aspect of you as His Child that His Story is going to be a wedding feast. A Wedding Feast of the Lamb of God to the Bride of God. His People. His Beloved. His Children born by the Will of God. You.

When the day you can "Only Imagine" arrives ... what will be the look on your face?

When Jesus told us about Heaven

Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is a seed. And Jesus told us the Seed would Grow.

Jesus is explaining How Lavish His Love is for - you. Jesus explains Heaven is a Feast. God's Love is so Lavish - Paul, formerly killed people proclaiming Jesus for healing the blind, deaf hear, lame walk, lepers cleansed, poor have Good News. Paul was like Peter leaving Kosher and going into the temples of foreign gods to Explain Jesus. Love. They went a lot further than the song proclaiming "I'd Walk 500 Miles".

Jesus was sent to live in Egypt.

Romans 8:18a
Now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later

The Kingdom of Heaven has families of Heaven and earth living there. Encompassing and enfolding Noah and his family. Abraham and his family. The Copper Age. The Bronze Age. The Jet Age. The Space Age and Tomorrow. The Brothers of Jesus Christ.

Abba,

When we have asked You to cover us in Jesus Christ, we are Blessed.

Enfold and comfort, uphold and strengthen those we Love. Cover our cares as high as the Nation - Trusting in You. Cover the Nations coming to Your Brightness. Bless all the Children of God seeking more Heaven on earth.

In the Name of Jesus. Amen!

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
