Romans 11:25-36 ~ this will be My Covenant with them when I take away their sins.

Romans 11:25-36

Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
27 “and this will be my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”

28 As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake.

But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers.

29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

30 For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy. 32 For God has consigned all to disobedience, that He may have mercy on all.

33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

34 ““For who has known the mind of the Lord,
or who has been His counselor?”,
or who has been His counselor?”
35 “Or who has given a gift to Him
that He might be repaid?”

36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.
To Him be glory forever. Amen.

Proverbs 17
3 The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold,
and the Lord tests hearts.

24 The discerning sets his face toward wisdom,
but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.

The purpose of life would be easily held on to by Proverbs 17 and the Prodigal Son.

Hindsight might illustrate the point more clearly.

We might call this a Struggle for Righteousness in the established Temple of God in Jerusalem among people who had struggled for centuries.

The Essenes were a Jewish sect during the Second Temple period and flourished from the 2nd century BC  to the 1st century AD, 70 AD to be precise. About the late 1st century BC, the Essenes began to predict the end of the world.

The Essenes have gained fame for the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Essenes' library, probably to safeguard Scripture from their belief in the coming end. These documents preserve multiple copies of parts of the Hebrew Bible untouched from possibly as early as 300 BC until their discovery in 1946.

The first Historical reference to the sect is by the Roman Historian Pliny the Elder (d 79 AD) in his Natural History. Pliny's few lines explain the Essenes possess no money, existed for thousands of generations, and that their priestly class do not marry.  Unlike Philo, Pliny was a geographer Pliny places them somewhere above Ein Gedi desert near the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Bam, Essenes are known.

The Jewish General turned Roman historian, Josephus, records Essenes existed in large numbers, not merely mystics huddled in the desert. Thousands lived throughout Roman Judea. But they were fewer in number, locally to the Temple, than the Pharisees and Sadducees, the other two major sects of power.

The Essenes lived in various cities but congregated in communal life dedicated to voluntary poverty, daily immersion, and asceticism and celibacy. It's reported John the Baptist was a visitor, and some fragment of the Dead Sea Scrolls poetry alludes to the ministry of Jesus. His amazing healing ministry.

Josephus later gave a detailed account of the Essenes in The Jewish War (c. 75 AD), with a shorter description in Antiquities of the Jews (c. 94 AD) and The Life of Flavius Josephus (c. 97 AD). Claiming firsthand knowledge, Essenes demonstrate piety, celibacy, the absence of personal property and of money, the belief in communality, and commitment to a strict observance of Sabbath. Josephus adds  Essenes ritually immersed in water every morning, ate together after prayer, devoted themselves to charity and benevolence, forbade the expression of anger, studied the books of the elders, preserved secrets, and were very mindful of the names of the angels kept in their sacred writings.

By excluding Habakkuk Chapter 3, the Essene leaders demonstrate the unwillingness to see God's Healing return. The Essenes believed the end of the world was upon them.

Habakkuk Chapter 3

A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, according to Shigionoth.

2 O Lord, I have heard the report of you,
    and your work, O Lord, do I fear.

In the midst of the years revive it;
    in the midst of the years make it known;
    in wrath remember mercy.

3 God came from Teman,
    and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah
His splendor covered the heavens,
    and the earth was full of his praise.

4 His brightness was like the light;
    rays flashed from his hand;
    and there he veiled his power.
5 Before him went pestilence,
    and plague followed at his heels.

6 He stood and measured the earth;
    he looked and shook the nations;
then the eternal mountains were scattered;
    the everlasting hills sank low.
    His were the everlasting ways.

7 I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction;
    the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.

8 Was your wrath against the rivers, O Lord?
    Was your anger against the rivers,
    or your indignation against the sea,
when you rode on your horses,
    on your chariot of salvation?
9 You stripped the sheath from your bow,
    calling for many arrows. Selah

    You split the earth with rivers.
10 The mountains saw you and writhed;
    the raging waters swept on;
the deep gave forth its voice;
    it lifted its hands on high.

11 The sun and moon stood still in their place
    at the light of your arrows as they sped,
    at the flash of your glittering spear.

12 You marched through the earth in fury;
    you threshed the nations in anger.
13 You went out for the salvation of your people,
    for the salvation of your anointed.
You crushed the head of the house of the wicked,
    laying him bare from thigh to neck. Selah
14 You pierced with his own arrows the heads of his warriors,
    who came like a whirlwind to scatter me,
    rejoicing as if to devour the poor in secret.
15 You trampled the sea with your horses,
    the surging of mighty waters.

16 I hear, and my body trembles;
    my lips quiver at the sound;
rottenness enters into my bones;
    my legs tremble beneath me.
Yet I will quietly wait for the day of trouble
    to come upon people who invade us.

Habakkuk Rejoices in the Lord

17 Though the fig tree should not blossom,
    nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
    and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
    and there be no herd in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
    I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

19 God, the Lord, is my strength;
    He makes my feet like the deer's;
   He makes me tread on my high places

God says the Fight is ON. Even to imagine the Essenes getting the pottery papyrus into these cliffs.

The Essenes left Church.
They felt they didn't get enough from the Second Temple and saw disappointment.  The Essenes went on to say, that the Holy Spirit had deserted the Temple of God.

John the Baptist would have been good to tell the Essenes about Luke 2. Anna. Simeon. They recognized, anointed and praised God in the Holy Spirit.  Their blessed eyes saw what centuries had hoped to witness — where — In the Temple of God.

We have to recognize fruitfulness to live. Just as the Essenes should have. We have to participate in goodness and hold fast to God's Love to bring love in all areas. We have to be part of Church.

The Essenes did marvelous fruitful work every one of the Essenes would be pleased to know how faith and faithfulness  stirred up to understand iota and jot of Scripture  preserved through Centuries.  The reason the Essenes did this incredible task, they believed life was ending, not Habakkuk 3.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe He exists and He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Romans 3:25
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood – to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished

The Shawshank Redemption would say,
self-fulfilling doom prophecy
is
“Either Get Busy Living or get busy dying.”

2 Chronicles 20:15
Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's!

Regardless of the reports of fighting, history records the entire sect died during the Jewish Wars.  And today we know they were dying in several ways.

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

1 Corinthians 9:24
Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win!

We read recently that Paul felt strongly motivated to spread the Gospel of Jesus because Paul tremendously loved the people he ministers to. Yes, some are untouched, not warmed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why would some people draw back, have hardness of heart?
We are called not to hide in a desert, have fear, bitterness and desire not for the renewing Strength of God. We are called to something much harder than war, we are called to participate in making a Peace God would be pleased to have.

Jesus did answer.

Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.

Life is a test.
When we draw a line, we want to stand where we can be pleased we stood.  Not have expectations to press on His Mercy, we were counting on Him looking the other way and handing out a free pass to be selfish. Or tell God what is good.

The Lord bless us, we ask in the Highest Name of Jesus.

 The Lord make His face shine with favor and forgiveness.

The Lord be gracious to us for honoring Him.

The Lord turn His face to guide us in His paths with gentle Love.

The Lord teach and give us peace.
Help us to be grateful for His help daily.

Amen in Jesus.

Abba, Father,

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Daniel 2:37
Your Majesty, you are the King of Kings.
The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory

Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news;
lift up your voice with strength,
 O Jerusalem, herald of good news;
 lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah,
 “Behold your God!”

Behold, the Lord God comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.

 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand
 and marked off the heavens with a span,
enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure
 and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?

Who has measured the Spirit of the Lord, or what man shows him his counsel?
Whom did he consult, and who made him understand?
Who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge,
 and showed him the way of understanding?

 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
 the Creator of the ends of the earth.

 He does not faint or grow weary;
 his understanding is unsearchable.
 He gives power to the faint

Blessed be the Name of Jesus
Blessed are those whom Jesus would dwell within
Please bless those we Love.
Alleluia for Jesus.

Amen!

Jesus, God of Encouragement.
Jesus, Hope and Future.
Jesus the Lord
saves the world
Amen.

Psalm 46 ~ God will help

Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.

 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.

6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
He utters his voice, the earth melts.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how He has brought desolations on the earth.

He makes wars cease
to the end of the earth;

He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
He burns the chariots with fire.

10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Selah

Please pray with us as well. Thank you.

Nehemiah 1

The words of Nehemiah the son of Hacaliah.

5 And I said, “O Lord God of Heaven,
the great and awesome God
Who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those
who love Him and keep His commandments,

Let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you.

 Even I and my father's house have sinned. 7 We have acted very corruptly against you and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, and the rules that you commanded your servant Moses.

Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples, 9 but if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, though your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them to the place that I have chosen, to make my name dwell there.’ 10 They are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand.

O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.

Awe inspiring to read Nehemiah! Israel exists again today. Nehemiah's Words go back to the 5th century Before Christ. And we sit praying them today.

In the 20th year of Artaxerxes I (445 or 444 BC), Nehemiah was cup-bearer to the king. This Relief is of King Artaxerxes I. The Cupbearer stands behind the King.

Nehemiah is Joy to me. The Joy of the Lord is my strength.
When we want to know what to say to the Lord or hear from the Lord
we go to the Life Scripture repeats, when we are in the soup.

Nehemiah was trying to get all types of action going to have Israel renewed, and everything was not working as smoothly as one would hope.

Nehemiah is Joy.
Nehemiah is like Maria Von Trapp.
Can Do.

If we need to fix something,
the Go To is Nehemiah.

David's wall — Jerusalem had an extrapolated population from David's census of 5 million in Israel. Nehemiah's wall is small. The population had to deal with stones that were blackened, in places, from the sacking of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar II.

Not 5 million people, 50,000 returned. A huge number opted to stay behind in Cyrus' Empire, to later become the Book of Esther.   Oh, Mordecci, life is a Bear Hunt.

Nehemiah was dealing with lions, tigers and bears.

Like Moses, they felt daunted. And afraid. And upset.
Nehemiah was a little like Gandolf, and got to ride in and start saving
the Children of Israel.

David got to terrace gardens into Jerusalem.
David looks, suddenly, very fortunate. Life is funny that way.

Where are we going to begin?

Nehemiah begins with a clear outline and plan. He is going to start by seeing the difficulty and apologize to ... Almighty and Loving God.

This is what a builder builds upon. The Truth, Rock Solid with a way forward. Nehemiah had something in common with David. The Holy Spirit is serious that way. God is our refuge and strength,a very present help in trouble. And with an idea O Lord God of Heaven,  the great and awesome God. Who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory of Jesus is always being made manifest in every Word of God.

David and Nehemiah believe the Word of God prevails. Out of desolation:

He makes wars cease
to the end of the earth;

He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
He burns the chariots with fire.

10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Selah

The Comfort of God. Nehemiah was not threading beads on a fast emptying project. Nehemiah was creating a Kingdom of God on earth. Today, this day, Israel exists.

He utters his voice, the earth melts.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

When David felt worried, Nehemiah concerned, this is when they had what we call a Journal.
And from these valuable ideas and convictions, we find The Lord God Almighty, Lord God of Heaven, the great and awesome God. Who keeps covenant and steadfast love with us,
who love Him and keep His commandments. We see Him. Your ear is attentive and Your eyes open, to Hear the prayer of your servants.

Abba, Father God,

The news today was lions, tigers and bears.
Hurting our hearts and hopes.
Causing with us the resolve to do right and help righteousness.
Being bridge builders with honest words and intentions.

You have the whole of all Your Good Creation in Your Hands.

Dwell in us.
Help us to be the One You Love and Delight in.
Help us to Seek You first
and find our Loved ones have You dwelling in them.
We will finish well in Jesus Christ.

We pray for the people reading and praying.
We pray for Justice for Your Creation, knowing You
included  All and even animals in the Salvation of Your Covenant with Noah.

We pray for our children in the violence of big cities.
We pray for Life. Life of the innocents.
Life of mothers and fathers and grandparents.
We pray for the nutty happenings we read in the news.
We pray for Your Goodness.
When we are weak, Your Strength is our Joy.

We look for signs of the thaw
and see You are Working.
Your Word is Living and Active.
Your Steadfast Love.

We ask You to give us each Day.
Forgive us when we are wrong and set us on Your Path again.
Let more Heaven be seen on earth, Your Good Creation.
Thank You for Your Tender Mercy.

Your Promises are Faithful.
Your Word is Living.
You are Working and Jesus is working too.

Luke 1

The oath that He swore to our father Abraham, to grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all our days. nd you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
 to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

We ask You to have the Boldness of Aslan
and our prayer life to be as alive.

We lift up our Nation
and Your Good Creation
to have Your compassion and help.

In Jesus Christ we say Alleluia.
Amen.

Jesus, God of Encouragement.
Jesus, Hope and Future.
Jesus the Lord
saves the world
Amen.

Psalm 107:33-43 ~ By His blessing they multiply greatly

Psalm 107:33-43

He turns rivers into a desert,
    springs of water into thirsty ground,
34 a fruitful land into a salty waste,
    because of the evil of its inhabitants.

35 He turns a desert into pools of water,
    a parched land into springs of water.

36 And there he lets the hungry dwell,
    and they establish a city to live in;
37 they sow fields and plant vineyards
    and get a fruitful yield.

38 By His blessing they multiply greatly,
    and he does not let their livestock diminish.

39 When they are diminished and brought low
    through oppression, evil, and sorrow,
40 he pours contempt on princes
    and makes them wander in trackless wastes;
41 but he raises up the needy out of affliction
    and makes their families like flocks.

42 The upright see it and are glad,
    and all wickedness shuts its mouth.

43 Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things;
    let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord.

Nebuchadnezzar II was on the top of His Empire. And his Empire was the best of the best.

Nebuchadnezzar II returns March 9th, 597 B.C. for his 2nd of 3 conquests of Judah, and frees Jeremiah from the King's prison, located at the bottom of David's Palace. Here 2nd generation Professor Eliat Miazar searched her scriptures, located David's Palace and found the seal for Jeremiah's servant. Baruch ben Neriah.

Baruch ben Neriah used his seal for Jeremiah to buy a home, yesterday's Post similar, in the middle of Conquest.  Jeremiah was buying into Israel. Assyria had wiped out Israel, Judah was now the remnant.
By faith Jeremiah listed to God and was establishing his estate, as the Prophet Samuel had done as David began.

March 9th, 597 B.C free nobles began walking 1,000 miles (ca. 1,609 km) to Babylon and slavery.. In 3 series of conquests, brought about by Judah believing they could out fox Nebuchadnezzar II. In the 2nd round, Nebuchadnezzar himself arrives and gives orders to release Jeremiah from the puppet king's dungeon. With this Prophet of God help, you'd think Nebuchadnezzar really was at the top of his game at the top of the world.

The Historian Herodotus describes in great detail the rivers and the lush beauty of a very wonderful Empire. The rivers running through Ancient Babylon are two of those described in the Garden of Eden in the Book of Genesis.

He turns rivers into a desert,
    springs of water into thirsty ground,
34 a fruitful land into a salty waste,
    because of the evil of its inhabitants.

Jeremiah did have an enormous relief to be taken out of the acting King, Babylonian cuneiform, thousands upon thousands, clearly and boldly tell of dates and the prison records telling about the food requirements of the true King Zedekiah. Even the timing of moving King Zedekiah from prison to Emperor Nebuchadnezzar II's table.

 Ezekiel had enormous relief to find, surviving his wife's death, he was to be High Priest to the Slaves in Babylon. And with this, the freedom to freely gather and worship every Sabbath.  Nebuchadnezzar made provision,  Ezekiel received a nice house on the River Chebar. In this freedom, Ezekiel has ability to give the Children of Israel the strength to hope, believe the Prophet Jeremiah, worship and serve the Lord in understanding of the failure of Israel before God's Eyes. New heart, new hope and direction.

Nebuchadnezzar would appear to be a Prince among men. We know from Scriptures this was not to last in Nebuchadnezzar's pride.  The waters of Babylon would betray Nebuchadnezzer. The Historian Herodotus describes Cyrus invaded by damming the rivers and merely riding over the Enormous City Walls we can find in German museums today.

Through the Ishtar Gate, we would have seen Ezekiel, the House of David, King Zechariah, Daniel and almost all the nobles who were God's Children fall into slavery. Jeremiah spoke for the Lord.

Lush Babylon set in the Rivers of God's Garden of Eden are going to fall.

Jeremiah 50

The word that the Lord spoke concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Chaldeans, by Jeremiah the prophet:

2 “Declare among the nations and proclaim,
    set up a banner and proclaim,
    conceal it not, and say:
‘Babylon is taken,
    Bel is put to shame,
    Merodach is dismayed.
Her images are put to shame,
    her idols are dismayed.’

3 “For out of the north a nation has come up against her, which shall make her land a desolation, and none shall dwell in it; both man and beast shall flee away.

4 “In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, the people of Israel and the people of Judah shall come together, weeping as they come, and they shall seek the Lord their God. 5 They shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, saying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.’

6 “My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. They have forgotten their fold. 7 All who found them have devoured them, and their enemies have said, ‘We are not guilty, for they have sinned against the Lord, their habitation of righteousness, the Lord, the hope of their fathers.’

8 “Flee from the midst of Babylon, and go out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as male goats before the flock. 9 For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon a gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be taken. Their arrows are like a skilled warrior who does not return empty-handed. 10 Chaldea shall be plundered; all who plunder her shall be sated, declares the Lord.

11 “Though you rejoice, though you exult,
    O plunderers of my heritage,
though you frolic like a heifer in the pasture,
    and neigh like stallions,
12 your mother shall be utterly shamed,
    and she who bore you shall be disgraced.
Behold, she shall be the last of the nations,
    a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
13 Because of the wrath of the Lord she shall not be inhabited
    but shall be an utter desolation;
everyone who passes by Babylon shall be appalled,
    and hiss because of all her wounds.
14 Set yourselves in array against Babylon all around,
    all you who bend the bow;
shoot at her, spare no arrows,
    for she has sinned against the Lord.
15 Raise a shout against her all around;
    she has surrendered;
her bulwarks have fallen;
    her walls are thrown down.
For this is the vengeance of the Lord:
    take vengeance on her;
    do to her as she has done.
16 Cut off from Babylon the sower,
    and the one who handles the sickle in time of harvest;
because of the sword of the oppressor,
    every one shall turn to his own people,
    and every one shall flee to his own land.

17 “Israel is a hunted sheep driven away by lions. First the king of Assyria devoured him, and now at last Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has gnawed his bones. 18 Therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing punishment on the king of Babylon and his land, as I punished the king of Assyria. 19 I will restore Israel to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and in Bashan, and his desire shall be satisfied on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead. 20 In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, iniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none, and sin in Judah, and none shall be found, for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

21 “Go up against the land of Merathaim,
    and against the inhabitants of Pekod.
Kill, and devote them to destruction,
declares the Lord,
    and do all that I have commanded you.
22 The noise of battle is in the land,
    and great destruction!
23 How the hammer of the whole earth
    is cut down and broken!
How Babylon has become
    a horror among the nations!
24 I set a snare for you and you were taken, O Babylon,
    and you did not know it;
you were found and caught,
    because you opposed the Lord.

Ancient History? The Blood spilled in circa 1500 A.D. about the time of Elizabeth I's Reign demolished the Catholic Church seeking indulgences, yes. Latin Masses. Not teaching enough literacy. The Printing Press. The end of the Monasteries. But Henry VIII saw his bloodbath on the Catholic Church monasteries, cause England to have 1 in 3 people would starve to death.

The weather of Elizabeth II  (who declared in the Words of Jesus, John 4, all men must worship God in their hearts and ended Religions Persecution she herself had fallen into the Tower of London to experience) was of water. The Thames would freeze solid, allowing the river to become a highway unseen before for trade. The barges could travel up to 40 mph (ca. 64 km/h). Unheard of in the 1590s. Trade flourished. Elizabeth read the Bible every day for an hour. She enjoyed composing hymns. Like King David, she had her outrageous flaws.

Ancient History? The Word of God is alive. When my son went to Russia for vacation in 2010, Siberia was burning. Not just a little. When we were in 2018 Alaska, smoke clogged the skies from all the Western Coast through British Columbia. Why British Columbia. We all have flaws we could point to.

Babylon experienced Climate Change. We can indeed boo and hiss. Yet, God is our Maker.

Climate Change. Would taxes change the weather of an entire world. Would the little Ice Age of Elizabeth ever change. 1970s experienced so much snow, the USA Government wondered if Russia could control the weather. Weather changes. We see John Muir saw Glaciers melt.  What would be their flaws, maybe, maybe the massive killing spree of the animals. Otters were unseen, not found and almost annihilated.

Every 500 Years, the Will of God is Boldly Experienced

Today, Climate Change Solutions? Really? Wind Technologies kills the birds. Let's be more aware than Mao of the need for birds in our Ecology. Noah sent out a dove to find life on earth. (The UK went first in wind technologies and now urges UK people to put out food for missing flocks of wild birds.) We find in the land fills the new LED lights aren't beneficial, yet we continue. We see the Lithium Battery is hard to mine and hard to throw away, yet we continue. Remember when we knew Natural Gas was emission less?  We know washing machines and driers clog our waste systems, and we don't change planned obsolescence. Not gathering the old units, like mattresses are gathered.  What else is killed for comforts?

When facts irritate people. Then should we adapt the facts? Jeremiah did not. Nebuchadnezzar would go on to repent. The Historian Herodotus records Nebuchadnezzar II recovered and spoke of with certainty the end of the Chaldean Empire he had loved, the end of his line. Nebuchadnezzar realized in good health, the Will of God will be done.

And all would go forth.

The Lord has the Whole World in His Hands.
We just do better as we look to the Lord first and then enjoy His Love and Mercy.

It's a time of great uncertainty.
Why speak out?

Thank You God for the Reason for the Steadfast Love.

Even in fish, You were known to put Your hands in there and feed us!

We thank You in Jesus Christ for our blessings of Strength and fire in the Holy Spirit.

Fire millenniums ago Moses found to be a sustaining fire of infinite beauty.

Blessed are You Lord God. In Jesus. Amen.

One of the most ancient of Christian inscriptions,
"God fishes among the Living!"

Abba, Father,

When the Saints go Marching In,
Help us to be in their Number
that with them, we arrive
when the Saints go Marching In.

Father, You are God of Encouragement
God of Love.
Help us to Love and Encourage the people
You have given us.
We thank You for new Grand Dogs, family and
 pray them to have long life
and Joy.

We pray for our family, our Nation, who are suffering
that they will have Your Comfort and Mercy
every day.

Help us to be Your Light.
Dwell in us.
Dwell in those we Love.
Your Good Will will Prevail.

In the Highest Name of Jesus,
His Love Covers us.
Amen.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

A simple blog, scripture-for-today.blogspot

This blog is pretty simple, but for a reason. This blog isn't about agenda or me, it is for the joy and love to found by reading the Scriptures. Ultimately, it is you and the Lord.

The Scriptures are Father God's letter to you. He wanted you to know more, to know He loves you.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
