Psalm 91:3
For he will rescue you from every snare of the Fowler and protect you from deadly disease.1 Kings 8
If they pray toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin, when you afflict them, 36 then hear in heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk, and grant rain upon your land, which you have given to your people as an inheritance.
37“If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence or blight or mildew or locust or caterpillar, if their enemy besieges them in the land at their gates,b whatever plague, whatever sickness there is, 38 whatever prayer, whatever plea is made by any man or by all your people Israel, each knowing the affliction of his own heart and stretching out his hands toward this house, 39 then hear in heaven your dwelling place and forgive and act and render to each whose heart you know, according to all his ways (for you, you only, know the hearts of all the children of mankind), 40 that they may fear you all the days that they live in the land that you gave to our fathers.
Amazing - the day The Temple of God was opened for worship...
That Many Glorious Promises of God!
And Jesus said the Good Shepherd leaves the 99, to find the one lost sheep. It's pretty awesomely set up to - - - be pretty risky. The Prayer of Solomon to put the Mercy Seat of God - Ark of the Covenant - All the Promises of God Himself in the Temple of God.
How did all of that Blessing turn out for Solomon - chosen son of King David. Well, we know Solomon ran off with worldly success. And yet, we find out Solomon went to the high places, shamans, all Solomon could think of - just turned himself inside out - to get God to speak to him. And God did not speak.
God had already spoken.
Yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Solomon turned again to the Lord, repented and let God be God. As God directed.
God tells us of important things. Jesus loved to teach. When Jesus was teaching, Jesus' preferred place -in His Jerusalem Temple - to teach in the Portico of Solomon. When Nebuchadnezzar II ransacked the Temple, The Portico of "Solomon" was spared. Too Beautiful to harm.
Second Temple of God in Jerusalem.
We find the Promises of God are like Jesus taking a nap on the boat the day of the Incredible Storm. Well within the Hand, the Will and the Abilities of God.
The Incredible Promises are given during the Time of Solomon? We have just seen with our eyes, a Pillar of Solomon. We witness the renewal of the Promises of God. Every day.
Habakkuk 2:3
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord;
be strong,
and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
Lamentations 3:25-26
The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Abraham pleased God with Faith.
Faith can move a Mountain.
Our Father will increase our faith.
Our Father,
Who is in Heaven,
Holy is Your Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be Done.
On earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day,
Our Daily and Living Bread,
Lead us not into temptation,
deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
the Power
and the Glory.
In the Highest Name of Jesus.
Amen.
