5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God. 6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.
in the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:
“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’
who was, and is, and is to come.”
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
11“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.”
When we want to be close to Abba, our Father, how can we understand or grasp what is so far from our lives now? What is the Lord thinking of when He tells us about His Home? For now, we know in part, and one day we will see through to God's Kingdom. All knees bow to Jesus, His Son, our Savior.
Why? Aslan is not a tame lion, He's good, I tell you.
God travels in more time, knows the Host of Heavens, creates and understands more mysteries, more layers, more of vast Histories and all the days to come. Abba understands the dark and sees perfectly past this. He deals with All. Just as His Salvation is His work.
Romans 11
23 And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.
25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,
“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
27 “and this will be my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”
28 As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. 29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. 30 For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy. 32 For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.
Does this yet explain His Kingdom to us and His messengers and companions?
Almost!
Romans 11
33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable are His Judgments and how inscrutable His Ways!
34 “For who has known the Mind of the Lord,
or who has been His counselor?”
35 “Or who has given a gift to Him
that He might be repaid?”
36 For from him and through Him and to Him are all things.
To him be glory forever. Amen.
His angels, stand in His Presence
We learn from His Word from Archangel Gabriel.
They do not kneel (all the time), they are not prostrate on the floor, they are not lounging on prayer mats. They stand. God wants them to be strong.
Luke's Gospel, Chapter 1, we find two reactions to Gabriel, who is apparently not what Ezekiel and Revelation, John, saw. We find fear, the usual reaction, and then we find Mary, 10 Talents Mary, she expects the Lord to be Loving and Good. Gabriel greets her with Kairos, Greek for Joy. God, our Abba, expects to find Mary joyful. I love Mary, she is so very human, she decides she is fearful even if Zechariah and Elizabeth are well and fine. Gabriel, who stands in the Presence of God, comforts her. God of Love. God of Encouragement. Her Joy returns, and her acceptance of Her Maker is Kind and Loving in return.
7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:
“‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever
Lions
Line the thrones of David and Solomon. Lions announce overcoming. And Protection. If we encounter a Lion, the Lion will have all of our attention. If we are safe, we delight in Lions. The Bold in and of Scriptures, are not worried about Lions. Consider all the levels Scriptures portray Lions. These are the levels of Father of ALL.
Mark 16:15
And He said to them, “Go into all the world
and proclaim the gospel to the whole (or all of) creation."
An Ox
We are instructed is to be blessed to be included in all the good share. Diligent to work. Included by the Lord. During His Promise to Noah and the animals. The third is like a man, the humility of God's kindness that He considers us.
Eagle, how swiftly they fly. What they can see. An Eagle would have to be able to see a trout from airplane height. God has one as a companion, by His Delight. The vision of seeing so many layers.
Mankind
The companions of God. Seeing as He sees. His chosen companions. Beloved. Beloved. Beloved.
The shepherds of the Bethlehem field, they weren't the lowest. The worst. No, we understand Barabbas was a thief. These shepherds are noble. Samuel traversed easily with David's father Jesse. Saul was chosen from a Shepherd family, as well. This is community work and reward is from generations of learning. Mary tells us in Luke 1, this isn't the blessed financially, but the rich spiritually. The Shepherds weren't traveling to Bethlehem, their journey was on the path. Rich in His ways.
These group of faithfully raised, generational shepherds meet the Heavenly Host and they are - bodily afraid. Sore afraid. As if in a car wreck, later we ache from having been so tense. Blood vessels break even without impact. The sore afraid can make us hurt for weeks even after the injuries heal. Only the fear has created damage.
Why would God want us to have fear? Hebrews says Yar, Reverence. Layers of meaning, time, language, Words of God.
Romans 11
22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
God tells us change is possible with Him. God knows the stars and the Book of Life. Change is very possible with God. Likely!
Would God consider Himself severe? No, probably not. Jesus tells us Abba understands we see Him as a wicked Judge. And God tells us how to work around our small understanding. God of Love. God of Encouragement.
The Curtain surrounding God's Mercy Seat we call the Ark of the Covenant. Actually, a seat welcoming the Presence of God.
a lion, the second was like an ox,
the third had a face like a man,
the fourth was like a flying eagle
Abba, Father,
You see all of us. All of us.
You know, no secrets are hid,
all desires known.
Turn to us with Your Love
and Mercy
and we are Renewed.
Awakened to the Hope in Your Glory.
Dwell in us.
Dwell in those we Love.
Help us to seek You first.
And in Jesus, we will finish well.
Thank You for the Blessings You have given us to count
“Monday Night Football” game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was suspended and they knelt to pray for God's Help and Mercy For Damar Hamlin
Matthew 16:17,18
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah!
For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood,
but by My Father in heaven.
18 And I tell you that you are Peter,
and on this rock
I will build My church,
and
the gates of Hades will not prevail
against it.
“Monday Night Football” game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was suspended in the first quarter after Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed after a hit and was taken off the field by ambulance.
Hamlin, 24, received CPR on the field, according to ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” announcers. ESPN reporters described the sight of Bills players opening weeping as the team gathered on the field. About 23 minutes after Hamlin collapsed, Bills coach Sean McDermott and Bengals coach Zac Taylor conferred and called a temporary suspension of the game.
Hamlin is a second-year NFL player and was in his second season with the Bills. He was transported to the nearest trauma center to Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati. ESPN announcer Joe Buck prayed and reported that Hamlin’s mother was on hand for the game and accompanied him to the hospital.
The Rock is faith.
Bitterness and Blessing
Naomi tells us she is bitter. Call her Mara, bitterness.
The Scriptures tell us of a word very similar to Mara, bitterness.
Genesis 22:14
Abraham called the name of that place Mar-Yah Will Provide. As it is said to this day, "On Mar-Yah's mountain, it will be provided."
Genesis 28:15
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go,
and I will bring you back to this land.
I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
1 Corinthians 1:8
“He will also keep you firm to the end,
so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you
will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Proverbs 11:14
For lack of guidance, a nation falls,
but victory is won through many advisers.

Nehemiah 2:4-20
4 Then the king said to me, “What are you requesting?” So I prayed to the God of heaven.
5 And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers' graves, that I may rebuild it.”
6 And the king said to me (the queen sitting beside him), “How long will you be gone, and when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me when I had given him a time.
7 And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, let letters be given me to the governors of the province Beyond the River, that they may let me pass through until I come to Judah, 8 and a letter to Asaph, the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the fortress of the temple, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall occupy.”
And the king granted me what I asked, for the good hand of my God was upon me.
9 Then I came to the governors of the province Beyond the River and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent with me officers of the army and horsemen. 10 But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite servant heard this, it displeased them greatly that someone had come to seek the welfare of the people of Israel.
11 So I went to Jerusalem and was there three days. 12 Then I arose in the night, I and a few men with me. And I told no one what my God had put into my heart to do for Jerusalem. There was no animal with me but the one on which I rode. 13 I went out by night by the Valley Gate to the Dragon Spring and to the Dung Gate, and I inspected the walls of Jerusalem that were broken down and its gates that had been destroyed by fire. 14 Then I went on to the Fountain Gate and to the King's Pool, but there was no room for the animal that was under me to pass. 15 Then I went up in the night by the valley and inspected the wall, and I turned back and entered by the Valley Gate, and so returned.
16 And the officials did not know where I had gone or what I was doing, and I had not yet told the Jews, the priests, the nobles, the officials, and the rest who were to do the work.
17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in, how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision.”
18 And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite servant and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they jeered at us and despised us and said, “What is this thing that you are doing? Are you rebelling against the king?” 20 Then I replied to them, “The God of heaven will make us prosper, and we his servants will arise and build, but you have no portion or right or claim in Jerusalem.”
Darius and the mosaic of the 2nd Exodus,
leaving the Babylonian Empire
Nehemiah's 2nd Chapter is a great reflection on a brand new beginning for New Year's Day. The glory and hope of something so new. Even the King has given blessings. The warmth of exploration and dreams. Making something of ruins. A foundation the people want. The happiness of the people. A work of God. They survey and look to see with expectation. More joy will follow. Knowing Blessings lead the path and Blessings are making this path meaningful.
God's path. Setbacks and discovering more of the goodness of God.
2 Timothy 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God according to the promise of the life that is in Christ Jesus,
2 To Timothy, my beloved child:
Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 I thank God whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clear conscience, as I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. 4 As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy. 5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, 9 who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, 10 and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, 12 which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. 13 Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
14 By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.
15 You are aware that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes. 16 May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains, 17 but when he arrived in Rome he searched for me earnestly and found me— 18 may the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day!—and you well know all the service he rendered at Ephesus.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say.
The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation.
The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
