Matthew 1:18-25 ~ God with us +

Matthew 1:18-25

Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. 19 And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. 20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall call his name Immanuel”

(which means, God with us). 24 When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, 25 but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.

One of the most endearing aspects of God's Son walking as Grace upon Grace - is Father God's Plan to tell us the faith life of Jesus' Mother.

A very young woman chosen of God. Displaying we are flowers of the field and God expects to be God. Faith is exactly as Father God has given His Word. The "work" of mankind is to believe in the One He has Sent.

Mary has been "Given" The Whole Picture. Mary has spoken to Gabriel, who stands in the Presence of God. The Shepherds have arrived to explain they support her, they've seen the Angels - an incredible number of Angels. The Heavenly Host. Inspiring the Shepherds to abandon what is life to the Shepherds and find the Mother of God to Shepherd her new family.

And she tells us of Father God seeing our faith in life. God is Mercy. God just simply is Merciful.

In God's Mercy, let's find how Jesus would speak to us seeking His Words of Life.

Goya

Luke 1:30
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid,
Mary, for you have found favor with God.

Fear Not. Fear Not. Fear Not. We surely understand this.

John 6:20

Jesus called out to them, “Don’t be afraid. I am here!”

Mary has revealed Marvels in her life, given of God.

Luke 1:41
And when Elizabeth
heard the greeting of Mary,

the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit

Matthew 8:8-10

8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof.

But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

When Jesus heard it, He marveled,

and said to those who followed,
“Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

Love with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, belief, The Light of Jesus Christ dwelling and moving our souls.

Luke 1:46
Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord"

Matthew 22:37
Jesus said, “You shall love
the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Matthew 1:20
As he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

Belief in all seasons.

Luke 1:38
Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”
And the angel departed from her.

John 11:40
Jesus replied, "Did I not tell you
that if you believed,
you would see
the glory of God?"

Matthew 6:11
Give us this day our daily bread.

John 6:51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Treasures of Abba

Matthew 2:11
And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother,
and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

John 15:12
This is my commandment,
that you love one another as I have loved you.

Luke 2:19
Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.

John 8:32
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your hearts
be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Luke 2:48
And when his parents saw him, they were astonished. And his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been searching for you in great
distress.”

Matthew 28:20
I am with you always

Enduring when God says, "No."

John 2:5
“Woman, why does this concern us?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”

5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”

6 Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification. Each could hold from twenty to thirty gallons.…

John 14:1-31

“Let not your hearts be troubled.
Believe in God; believe also in me"

Finding the Light of Christ in mankind.

Matthew 13:55
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

1 John 4:7-8

Beloved,

let us love one another,
for love is from God,
and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

Anyone who does not love does not know God,
because God is love.

Mark 3

20 Then Jesus went home, and once again a crowd gathered, so that He and His disciples could not even eat. 21 When His family heard about this, they went out to take custody of Him, saying, “He is out of His mind.”

31 And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him. 32 And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, “Your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.” 33 And he answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”

34 And looking about at those who sat around him, he said,

“Here are my mother and my brothers!
35 For whoever does the will of God, he is

my brother and sister and mother.

Abba,

Thank You for the blessings of today. Thank You that in our troubles You give us Encouragement and Tenderness. Love.

You never leave or forsake us. As Mary faced the worst day of her life on Good Friday, You made sure Mary had all the encouragement, joy, love and peace You knew would be balm of Gilead to her.

You continued Your Promise in the Old Testament when the worst has happened something good will occurred.  Acts 1 and 3 found Mary's family restored. Nazareth records this 300 years later by Bishop Eusebius. Blessings of God roll into the Millenniums and will go forth today and many tomorrows.

In Your Love, we find the ordinary is Loved. In all seasons. You welcome every day life. And we find You are telling us You will not leave or forsake us.

Thank You for hearing our prayers. We are asking for more of Your Kingdom on earth. The delight in seeing Your Good Will.

The Name of Jesus covering us, our loved ones, Churches, Communities and to the Nation. The believing world asking Jesus for more Heaven.

God of Love. God of encouragement of Jesus explaining Your Glory and Love.

Amen.

Psalm 25 ~ I lift up my soul

Psalm 25

1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. 3 Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

4 Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.

6 Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. 7 Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!

8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way.

9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. 10 All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. 11 For your name's sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great. 12 Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.

13 His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. 14 The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.

15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. 16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. 17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. 18 Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. 19 Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me. 20 Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. 22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Abba, Our Father,
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul.

We ask Jesus to help our prayer Rise.

O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me.

Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

We know difficulty in this life.  Our self analysis. Our doubts and fears. Our selfishness and self concern. Real situations of trouble. Lack of discipline.

Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.

Remember your mercy, O LORD,
and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.

  Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!

8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.

Patmos - Paths the Disciple John would know in old age, surrounding his cave home.

He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness,
for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

For your name's sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great.
Who is the man who fears the LORD?
Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.

His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land.

The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.

My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses.
Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.
Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me.

Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Abba, our Father,

We in Jesus Christ are all on our path. To give direction to others makes Your children wonder if they appear to be doing life the right way and feel anxiety. Father, The Spirit gives Life. Our experiences cannot be doubted. The Love You have for our talents and virtues is undeniable. You love us as we are. Help us to use Love and Gratitude as a Bridge to You Lord Jesus.

Your Love and Your Plan will all be accomplished. Give us the opportunity to be Lights of Jesus Christ. Pour out Your Love and encouragement on those we Love. Redeem us each day and give us the blessing of seeing Your Blessings. For ourselves and cares. For the love we have for others and their cares. For the people You have given us, particularly for skin cancer recovery and possible Tuberculosis, easy breathing and safety for this family. Blessings of truth and Love. Mercy and goodness.

For Your unending Love to flow as Living Water. Giving Love and Life. For the Nations who Trust in You and Your Beloved asking of You, Father God.

In Jesus we pray. Amen.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
