Gardeners wonder all, the whole, complete, entire year about what to do to help and work with Bees.  

All the world speaks of Bees and Long Life.

We all know Bees suffer. The worst time of the year for Bees is the winter die-off.

Yes, bees need protein from pollen to survive winter. Nurse bees making royal jelly for the queen and young bees and beekeepers often provide pollen patties with lower protein/higher carbs in cold weather, supplementing their honey stores for energy, with fall-gathered pollen sometimes naturally richer for winter needs. Protein feeds the queen and developing larvae. Even with their own honey (carbs), a colony starves. 

30 to 40 percent of all bees will die of starvation in winter. 

Some commercial beekeeper surveys show over 60% loss for commercial beekeepers in the 2024-2025 winter, making it not a new phenomenon but an intensification of ongoing threats like Varroa mites, viruses, and pesticide exposure. 

Bee losses, with 1.1 million colonies lost in the U.S. (mites), are large, pointing to  environmental stressors.

 

DO NOT FEED MEAT

Feeding leftovers to critters (pets, farm animals, or wildlife) can be good for reducing waste and supplementing diets, AND requires extreme caution with safety, legality, and the specific animal's needs; generally, only untreated, safe foods (like plain grains, some veggies/fruits) should be offered, avoiding meat scraps for poultry and all mammalian scraps for ruminants (cows, sheep) due to disease risks (Mad Cow Disease.)

to heal.

The Lord Bless you 

and keep you;

The Lord make His Face to shine upon you 

and 

be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His Countenance upon you 

and 

give you peace.

“So shall they put 

My Name 

upon the people of Israel, 

and 

I will bless them.”

Light of the world

Jesus Christ

Shine on us

Let evil and practicing evil

depart 

far 

from us

and our children.

With Your Help

We will act justly

 and to love mercy

 and 

to walk humbly with You, our God.

Dwell in me,

Dwell in us,

Dwell in those we Love,

Help us to seek You first.

And we will finish well, 

in Jesus Christ. 

Help us seek and find 

and bring,

to become,

 more Heaven

to this earth.

With a this year 

addition:

Thy Kingdom come

Thy will be done

on earth

as it is

in Heaven. 

And the 2026 birth

of our

first Grandchild.

Jesus Christ, please,

Wisdom
