Luke 1:78-79
Because of the tender mercy of our God,
by which the rising sun will come to us from Heaven
to Shine
on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
to guide
our feet into the path of Peace.
True God of True God. Light of Light.
If ever we had a year of Notre Dame, the Mother of Christ Jesus. And in this year, to remember Joseph, a son of David, in the Davidic Line, a carpenter, a builder, is called by God, in this mission of God's Salvation.
In these years, the carpenters built a mighty Plan of God's.

If ever we had a year of Notre Dame, the Mother of Christ Jesus and remember Joseph, not a native of Nazareth, but preparing his betrothal home for Mary.
Something magnificent and, to Joseph, unplanned. A stop in his planned life and a redirect. The year Joseph began to realize this is the Son of God and Joseph, a son of David, in the Davidic Line, a carpenter, a builder, is called by God, in this mission of God's Salvation.
Similar to those builders and creators, to suddenly leave their homes, travel as Joseph did with Mary and Jesus to Egypt. Out of Egypt, I call My Son.
Their stories, would be the delight of discovering the Christ Child.
…And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

You know that He appeared to take away sins,

God's Beloved Son Jesus. God said to believe upon the One God has sent. This is His Beloved and Righteous Son in Whom there is no sin. The blind would see. The deaf would hear. The lame would leap and walk, The leper would be touched and healed. The Poor would Have His Good News.

Matthew 1:18-24
8 Now the birth of Jesus Christ [the Christ] took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed [engaged] to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. 19 And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. 20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will bear a Son, and you shall Call His Name Jesus, for He will save His People from their sins.” 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall Call His name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). (Isaiah 7:14)
24When Joseph awoke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took her as his wife!
Jesus is the Greek version of the Hebrew name Joshua, meaning 'God is salvation'.
Mary had choices, the angel heard Mary agree to God's plan.
Joseph, also, had choices multiplying after looking for compassion. Joseph must initially have believed all of his own plans looked like the prophet Hosea married to faithless Gomer. And instead, they were welcomed at the Temple when still unmarried with the infant Jesus. Joseph would walk in faith and find a life, not ending up in Jerusalem, but heading back to the small town of Nazareth, again. A life the Gospels record as being seamless. And unity.
Isaiah records 500 years before the birth of Jesus Christ, so many foreigners work together. Not unlike the recent efforts of Notre Dame. And still, peace and unity.
The miracle of Christmas. Given by God.
In Him was Life,
and the Life was the Light of men.
The Light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.

This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”
19 But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Rise, take the Child and His Mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the Child's life are dead.” 21 And he rose and took the Child and His Mother and went to the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, and being warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee. 23 And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, that He would be called a Nazarene.

It is a Gift to Remember Christmas. Like seasons, we need our difficult ones to appreciate the Good Ones.
Like Christmas Gifts, how lovely it is to write my memories and the Comfort and Help of Christmas All Year in My Heart. Privileged to Share.
God Bless us This Christmas Everyone!
God guide, surround, encourage, support and give us Souls with Love. To fill us and the ones we Love with Jesus Christ. The kind that says, "I'm ok, bless those around me."
Help us to have more Heaven on earth and give more Heaven.
Giving Thanks seeing us and our Nation swing into Christmas - wanting to bless one another.
Let there be more peace and more Heaven on earth for the Nations looking to Abba. More Blessings on us all around the world looking and praying for more of Jesus Christ, His Heavenly Host and all of Heaven on earth. More of God's Good Will.
