Mark 3:7-19 ~ And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him.

Mark 3:7-19

Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and a great crowd followed, from Galilee and Judea 8 and Jerusalem and Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from around Tyre and Sidon. When the great crowd heard all that he was doing, they came to him. 9 And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they crush him, 10 for he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed around him to touch him. 11 And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” 12 And he strictly ordered them not to make him known.


13 And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him. 14 And he appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) so that they might be with him and he might send them out to preach 15 and have authority to cast out demons. 16 He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter); 17 James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James (to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of Thunder); 18 Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot, 19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.




The Gospels, from every one contributing to the telling and writing of Jesus, tell a miracle we often overlook. Jesus asked men He chose to leave their lives - follow Him - and they did.

The reactions to Jesus were profound.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

Those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become Children of God.

From His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

“I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on Him. I myself did not know Him"

I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.

“We have found the Messiah”

“Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips.

“Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown."

All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. They got up, drove Him out of the town, and took Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him off the cliff. But He walked right through the crowd and went on His Way.

“What words these are! With authority and power He gives orders"

At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them.

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

And immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and followed him.


Matthew 27:54 
When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, "Surely he was the Son of God!"





Genesis 22:18 
And in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.

Abba,

There is One Who is Good. Jesus Christ, One with the Father.

Father, as a Child of God, I invite You to Live in me. To dwell. To carry me in Your Plan and Purpose. I believe Your Good is for me, in Jesus Christ. I rejoice Jesus is My Salvation and removes my transgressions as far as East from West. Forever You will remember my sins no more. 

Blessed is the One who is held Righteous as the Free Gift of Jesus Christ. The Name of Jesus covers me and when You see me You see Jesus and will remember Your Word nothing can take me from You.

Blessed is the Child of God who believes in You in Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 ~ Jesus is Lord



Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.


 Each verse of the Bible witnessing - God is Love. 
The multitude and vastness of His attributes.


The Bible was written for you.




In fact, the phrase "God is" is used 1481 times.
To tell us exactly who and why 
the Great Our Father wants to reach out to you.

Father God draws us to Him in unique ways.

So Father God draws us in - in moments - a child is born. When we are so young - doorknobs are far up - when spring is very green - Birthdays make magic. A  grandparent goes Home to Great Reward - to be cherished and loved. Love not put way and waiting until the Great Reunion Does Occur.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, called our Father - Abba - Pappa.

Pappa drew Abraham to look - - - Up. 
To see far... To see many things beyond one man.





Genesis 15

5 And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." 6 Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.

We rarely remember God spoke of Abraham too. Our Father God is Father of all.


15 As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age. 




Pappa has aspects we can feel and understand, He draws us to Him in understanding. And Pappa is Marvelous and Beyond all Things, for He created all things.

Pappa is indeed like C.S. Lewis' Aslan - "He is not a tame Lion." Pappa is our Father. Pappa loves to give awe and wonder. Most fathers crave this awe and wonder from their own family. We are, after all, our Father's children.

Pappa loves to make us wonder. When His creation describes meeting Pappa - rarely does life stay neutral or unconcerned. Life becomes Abundant.

Pappa is Wise because Wisdom comes from Pappa. He is Ancient of Days.

Our Advocate. Our Father.

Pappa loves us first. Pappas do this.


1 John 4:19

We love because He first loved us.


Pappa is Good and understands us to need His shelter - His guidance. Pappa wants to be the One

Hear Oh, Israel. God is One. God has Won.

Pappa is Before us. Pappa draws us to Him, Pappa stands behind us. Pappa Lives within our Souls. In this Amazing Wonder of Love, before we have spoken, Pappa has a Very Good idea what we will speak.

Pappa has discerned our path.

Pappa saw us knit together, our inward parts, formed in secret, intricately woven, unformed substance, knitted us in our mother's womb.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful is God's work.

God formed our days. And we know this. The thoughts of Pappa are vast. More than grains of sand. Dark is Light to Pappa.

We know this right well. The knowledge of our beginnings and His thoughts are almost too high for us. Yet even if this knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it, and yet we grasp this Love.











Jesus said when you see Him - you see Pappa. 

Numbers 6
The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; 

The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.'

Pappa explained not to fall to extremes, to be welcoming to people who do not know Pappa. Our Center is God's Love.

Joshua 1
I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. 
Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. 

Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you.

Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? 

Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”



Pappa, We will give our cares Up to You because Your Promises will hold us. In Christ Jesus our Lord, we boldly access with confidence, our faith in You. We will not lose heart over suffering, we will look for Your Glory. In Joy.

For this reason, I bow to You, Pappa. Father, every family in heaven and on earth is named through You. According to the riches of Your Glory, grant us to be strengthened with power in Your Holy Spirit in our inner being. We want to be an oasis that Christ may dwell in our hearts. Our faith rooted and grounded in Your love as our center core. That you would strengthen us to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth - to Know the Love of Christ. Surpassing knowledge. Fulfilling us in the fullness of God, Yourself.

Pappa you are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think.

According to the power at work within us, to God be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout ALL generations, Forever and Ever.

Psalm 144:9-15 ~ A New Song!!!



Psalm 144:9-15


I will sing a new song to you, O God;
upon a ten-stringed harp I will play to you,
10 who gives victory to kings,
who rescues David his servant from the cruel sword.
11 Rescue me and deliver me
from the hand of foreigners,
whose mouths speak lies
and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

12 May our sons in their youth
be like plants full grown,
our daughters like corner pillars
cut for the structure of a palace;
13 may our granaries be full,
providing all kinds of produce;
may our sheep bring forth thousands
and ten thousands in our fields;
14 may our cattle be heavy with young,
suffering no mishap or failure in bearing;
may there be no cry of distress in our streets!

15 Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall!

Septuagint!

The full title in Ancient Greek: Ἡ μετάφρασις τῶν Ἑβδομήκοντα, lit. 'The Translation of the Seventy', derives from the record Aristeas Letter the Septuagint was translated at the request of Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285–247 BC) by 70 Jewish scholars or, according to later tradition, 72, (exactly the number of Disciples Jesus sent out) with six scholars from each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, who
independently -
produced identical translations.

The miraculous character of the Aristeas legend indicates the translations incredible esteem held by the ancient Jewish diaspora and, later, early Christian circles. This wonder of the world was the first Dead Sea Scrolls understanding identical event.

A Greek translation was circulating among the Alexandrian Jews who were fluent in Greek but not in Hebrew. Like the Jews, in the Gospels, asking Jesus to live with them on the Greek Island of Crete.

The evidence of Egyptian papyri from the period have led most scholars to view as probable Aristeas's dating of the translation of the Pentateuch to the third century BC. Homerun.

 Remember "Where's the Beef?"

The Septuagint was possible because God's Word has been told to the ones seeking God as, "Breathed out in one continuous word or sentence." In fact, for generations and millenniums people argued God's Word is One Word. Causing us to remember St. Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland is actually talking about Druids who killed people horrendously and slowly for fear and power. In cages dropped into the swamp. Snakes.

God's Word is One Word correctly said explains in how many levels? Hear O Israel, The Lord Thy God is One. There is one Father, one Son and one Holy Spirit. The Father is God the Almighty from Alpha to Omega, all things are created from the Father for His Purpose. The Son gives the Father's Plan grace upon grace. We have beheld His Glory. God's Word is One. His Word is Law and so exact the Universe is upheld by His Word. The Word of God is one continuous Word without stops or punctuation. Because God's Greatness is Unsearchable.

God's Word is So Unsearchable, His Plan so incredibly detailed and precise the Universe is upheld and His Plan is explained without a pause.

God's Word is One. Papyrus 46 owned by the University of Michigan is 300 intact portions of the Bible. From 90 A.D. to 120 A.D. During the Beloved Disciple John's Lifetime. How will the date of authorship be determined. Great question. By verb usage. There is not a lot of punctuation in God's One Word. God's Word is One. When God died on the Cross, God was there. When Jesus and the people of the Resurrection went into Jerusalem. God is there. Emmanuel.




Matthew 27

52 The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. 53 After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people. 54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified and said, 
“Truly this was the Son of God.”

Clearly - Jesus was much more than we tend to believe in our small boxes marked Jesus and produced by Tupperware - we all tend to use. Three Roman Empire Historians record Pontius Pilate sent Emperor Claudius an incredibly detailed account of Good Friday. This is not the Easter Bunny. Nor happy, pappy Tannenbaum. We are addressing the purpose of Life and the Creation of the Universe. Some people call this The Multiple Big Bang Theory. We address this as Shepherd of our Souls, Jesus the Christ of God. Constancy and faithfulness to generations to welcome us to Live Eternally in His Kingdom. Love, Grace and Mercy.

When we say the Universe exists... why wouldn't the God of All plan for His Kingdom in Eternity?

She was advanced in years, having lived with her husband seven years from when she was a virgin, 37 and then as a widow until she was eighty-four. She did not depart from the temple, worshiping with fasting and prayer night and day. 38 And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.

39 And when they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth. 40 And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.

41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom. 43 And when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it, 44 but supposing him to be in the group they went a day's journey, but then they began to search for him among their relatives and acquaintances, 45 and when they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him. 46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48 And when his parents saw him, they were astonished. And his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.” 49 And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?” 50 And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. 51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.

52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.



And.

And. And. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. God's Word is one Continuous Word. God's Word is One. Why we see "And" in the Gospels so much. We cannot possibly fulfill God's Word. John tells us so much was happening in the Life of Jesus, no human being could record all of His Grace upon Grace life on earth. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every dot and iota of God's One Word.

Psalm 95 ~ Today







Psalm 95


 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!


3 For the Lord is a great God,
and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his also.
5 The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.

6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
7 For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
and the sheep of his hand.


Today, 

if you hear his voice,
8 do not harden your hearts, 


as at Meribah,
as on the day at Massah in the wilderness,
9 when your fathers put me to the test
and put me to the proof, though they had seen my work.
10 For forty years I loathed that generation
and said, “They are a people who go astray in their heart,
and they have not known my ways.”
11 Therefore I swore in my wrath,
“They shall not enter my rest.”





How much do we really believe the Scriptures, the Bible, the Word of God, Jesus?

God has something to say Today.
Unlike the movie, God is the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

Moses and Jeremiah had a few things in common. Both Moses and Jeremiah said that the people of Israel would say the Exodus never took place. And... Moses and Jeremiah were right. Part of the reason Jeremiah was in David's Official Davidic Line Palace for Davidic Kings in the prison - Jeremiah told the people, no, they were not from south of Israel, they had been slaves in Egypt.


Who has studied today? Many millenniums.

Psalm 95:7
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the sheep under His care. Today, if you hear His voice,

Hebrews 3:7
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear His voice,

Hebrews 3:15
As it has been said: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion."

One generation tells the next generation.


Psalm 145

4 One generation shall commend your works to another,

and shall declare your mighty acts.

5 On the glorious splendor of your majesty,

and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

6 They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds,

and I will declare your greatness.

7 They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness

and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.



Mount Arbel near Capernaum, Israel - the Hometown of Jesus Christ - looks to me like the dream I had speaking to my Aunt Clarice and finding out as the phone rang, the next morning - we had really had a conversation in front of God's Gates.


Is Jesus really filled with Joy yesterday, Today and tomorrow? Jesus said in John 14,15 and 16 Life is Joy. This Life. Eternity today life. And Life Eternal joy. Blessing seekers.

Our Abba,

Let us care deeply, love generously, forgive with joy and pray daily. 

We are Blessing Seekers. We place our lives in the hands of Gracious and Merciful Jesus Christ. The Longings of our heart and our cares are known to You, Father.

We ask You to send Your Mercy and Miracles to Elliott to have long life and cancer free,  Dee for healing and strength, and to cover our loved ones knowing You have heard and answer their prayers with Your Love Higher than the clouds and Steadfast to all generations.

Cover our Communities with Your Plan, Your Angels Daniel told us as messengers of God are fully working alongside You and Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for telling us in Your Word a glimpse in to Your Heavenly Host You call all by name.

Cover our Nation in this day and in all days as we pray more and more in faith as a Nation - Trusting You God. More reliable steadfast people calling on Jesus Christ. Seeking Peace.

Blessing Seekers knowing we pray with Your Children worldwide all over Your Good Creation. Blessed to ask for This Day. Blessed to ask Your Living Bread. Blessed to long for Your Good Will on earth as it is in Heaven.

Matthew 9:9-13 ~ rose



Father God, Thank You for the joy in remembering to sing Songs to You. 
Especially the Psalms.








Matthew 9:9-13


As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.”

 And he rose and followed him.

10 And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples.

And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? 

But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”




Matthew gave Jesus a feast in Matthew's own home. Calling his friends and the people he knew needed Jesus, not tiptoeing around Jesus and being politically correct. Jesus did not just endure life. Jesus was known to pick up children and eat and drink. Matthew was  Pleasing Jesus to have a party, celebrating life. Honoring Him. Jesus brought people JOY and Wonder. Loving them.








Give us this Day! And at the end of the day, rest, renew and restore in Jesus.

Jesus was on the path of a huge sacrifice. Jesus could be happy in all circumstances. And yet Jesus could sleep during a storm, enjoy a meal and be given a party. Jesus trusted God and His Word. We should as well.



Matthew 6:34
So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.


Psalm 118:24
The LORD has done it this very day; 

let us rejoice today 
and be glad.

I trust in your unfailing love;

We ask for Your Blessings.

Thank You for the gift of Psalm 97 today. To read of Your Glory and lightning around the world to see the grass fire charred and harmless next to our traveling car. To be swept in Your Glory. Thank You.

To have living water of Jesus flow unendingly as Love. To be encouraged and helped as we do Your Willing Plan You do have for us all.

To know as Jesus spoke of Living Water and gave You a new Heaven and a new earth, we find Your Throne in Your Kingdom by walking beside the shining water leading to Your Home.

Flowing, filling, seeping in all areas of our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind, for ourselves and the ones we Love. Filling us.

We are born of Water and Spirit and enter the Kingdom of God.

As we are on Your Path, we ask Your help to stay on the Path. We ask Your Love to know the daily steps. And looking back on our lives, knowing we present our Soul to You.

The Blessings of Jesus healing us and holding us. His Good will and Healing be present in peace
for His Mercy. Love and Answered prayer for Elliott, Dee and our prayers.


Blessings to know Jesus and Your Word. To be comforted by You. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Blessed in Jesus and His Name flow over our Nation and to the believers, today and tomorrow of the world.  To all of His Children all over His Good Creation.
