Exodus 31:13 ~ so you may know that I am the LORD

Exodus 31:13

"Say to the Israelites, 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy."

Exodus 31:17
"It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested."

Exodus 31:16
The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant

John 4
23 A time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

The Exodus 15-30 discusses so many of our current events. Surely Exodus 31 is part of our recovery. This week our Methodist Church sent out recommendations to put out wine and bread during Church and have Communion as Church concludes. To know deep within us, we are Nourished in Jesus Christ.

When Father God gave Manna to the Children of Israel, this simply occurred in the field. God has made being Nourished something of apparent intent, deliberation and as a Gift of God.

Nehemiah 8

9 Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to all of them,

“This day is holy to the LORD your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people were weeping as they heard the words of the Law.

10 Then Nehemiah told them, “Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send out portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Exodus 32

31 So Moses
 went back to the LORD
and said,
"Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold."

32 "But now, please forgive their sin – but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written."

Exodus 32:14
Then the LORD relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened. Exodus 32:35 Plague.

Exodus 33:13
"If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways, so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people."

Exodus 33:14
The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

Exodus 34:6
And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness"

Exodus 34:29
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD.

Nehemiah 8
The Joy of the LORD is your strength!

Abba, Father God,

We have all experienced concerns this year. Jesus prays in God's Living Word:
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

We pray for Covid-19 minds being healed. We pray for the collective sharing overcoming this depleting virus. Worldwide.

And give thanks for the tremendous crops You've provided the planet this year. Some of the largest crops this year in recent history. Feeding all of Your Good Creation. Saving the world.

John 17:24
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world."

Abba, help us to Seek You first. And we will find more Heaven on earth.

Jeremiah 1:9
Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me,
“Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

Abba, we have all said words with haste or with too much emotion. We are from the generation saying, silence is weird. Help us to have more peace for the words going into our ears and the words leaving our mouth. To appreciate silence more.

Thank God, for the people called to enter into the fray.

We ask in the Name of Jesus for Your Help.

Jesus help us in this Nation to be in Your Word and more Joyful.
Covered in God's Love,
President Donald Trump
Vice President Mike Pence
The Presidential Team
Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Robert Redfield, Dr. Deborah Birx
and their families.
Governor Abbott and all 50 Governors and Legislatures.
The end of trouble surrounding this Virus.

And Jesus prays for us in all our paths. He helps those living in Great Anger.
He helps those living in a Tornado of Information. He helps those sorting through the information
to find the news. God our Father helps those feeling oppressed by isolation. Father God helps
those worried about being in public or at work. He cares for our Families.

He helps our Son in the Bar Exam. Bless those we Love. Encourage them.

Father, guide us to stay on the Path of Your Hope and Future. Teach us the Way, Truth and Life.
Encourage us to be where You want us to be. Protect us to remain firm and standing in You.
Open our heart to pray for others as we think of them, daily, open us to praying for those around us
and all over the world. Bless our hearts to love one another and just be polite. To find Heaven
on earth, giving Heaven and seeing Heaven.

And then we have honored Jesus' Love and prayer for us today. Amen.

On the Path God has Given and Gifted us.

Matthew 8 ~ Jesus rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

How will we pray more effectively. Not just for answers, but for peace when all that surrounds you is in woes.

Where we place Jesus in prayer is Important.

We pray our Father in Heaven, to remind us God is Abba - vastly loving. Father. Better than an earthly, biological Father. To remind us, hold God closely.

And we can pray to meditate and find Jesus warm in our soul, mind and heart.

Find the Road to Emmaus.

Matthew 3
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. 14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.”

Jesus will fill us with His Righteousness. And the time to meditate or pray or search the Scriptures is good.

Father God isn't merely staying in Heaven.

17 and behold, Father God's voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Matthew 4

4 Not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

On their hands they will bear you up

23 And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people

Matthew 5
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?"
God expects real words from us.

Matthew 6
pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

33 Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 8
3 And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

13 And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.

17 “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”

These are phrases to hold to your heart as you pray.

26 Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Matthew 9
“Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.”

36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

9 Jesus said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.

“My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”
19 And Jesus rose and followed him,

with his disciples.

22 “Take heart, daughter;
your faith has made you well.”

29 Then he touched their eyes,
saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened.

Give us the Day!

Matthew 10
13 And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

When we are blue, sad, and we pray The Lord's Prayer. God will enable Joy, or we will work through what is difficult. One or the other. Thy Will be Done.

God has told us to ask for wisdom! Do we need further invitation?
The Strength of Joy.

Ecclesiastes says life has seasons. Seasons of turn the other cheek, let it go. Seasons of turn the rear around and move away. Do not give what is holy to pigs, they will turn, trample the pearls and attack you. Love our enemies, pray for them. The Joy of the Lord is our Strength. And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. The Strength of Joy.

To give ministry is to Trust God to be, "The One."

How will we sort this out?
With all the time God has given the Prodigal Son. Patience and endurance. Putting God First and seeking to see His Kingdom gives life salt and flavor. The Strength of Joy. We can place problems with God and move on. We can pray for the impossible and Find God Did and Does the Impossible.
The Strength of Joy.

The Joy of the Lord is our Strength. To be a Blessing, to give a Blessing, to fully Live the Blessing. Is in fact, work. Endurance. Being tenacious. And just stubborn. Be salty, my friends. Be honest. And work again. The work God Himself gives us - work - is to Believe.

Scriptures do not have a lot of loving brothers. We have James and John. Eventually the Brothers of Jesus Christ. Timothy and Paul are adopted brothers, and so are Mark and Peter.

Life gives us the Words of God in a particular order. Usually, this would be something to move over swiftly - this year has been so harsh - it's a teachable moment, to tell of the harshness life gives us to overcome.

Matthew 10
do not be anxious
how you are to speak or what you are to say,
for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.

We don't plan for what we will say in times of great hurt. We don't count on being hurt. We plan for a Hope and Future. (Sometimes, with the grit God Himself gives us.)

20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Could any other reason be more valid?

21 Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, 22 and you will be hated by all for my name's sake.

But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next

God has apples of gold in silver Baskets. If God can tell you to flee to the next - - -  you have to see the Hope right around the corner.

And all we found was a small portion of Matthew!

John 21
25 Now there are also many other things that Jesus did.
Were every one of them to be written,
I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

Abba, When the Winds and Woes of Life Howl, carry us Close to You.

We will be saying the Lord's Prayer. And seeing Heaven on earth.

Praying for those we Love. In Jesus. Amen.

Joshua 24:15 ~ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord

Joshua 24:15

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord

2020 Anno Domini, in the year of the Lord, we have experienced a sampling of 34,000 emotions.

The Exodus is God's Path for Security. Revealing His Heart for us having a Hope and Future.

The oldest known inscription of the name "Yahweh," Exodus 3. Dated c. 1400 BC. Discovered in the Temple built by the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep III in Soleb, modern day Sudan. Refers to a group of nomadic followers of Yahweh, possibly Israelites. The Word "Joseph" is inscribed on Amenhotep III's funeral Statue. Vizier Joseph. Amenhotep worshipped one God only. King Tut was his son.

Emotionally, Physically and as a Calendar -
What did this Exodus look like?

Many times in the Exodus, the people fear God. Yar, reverence.  The Purpose of the Cross of Jesus, to remove barriers. And The Scriptures are Living and Active - the emotional responses of God's people
have been something our God has noted and cared for all these millenniums. God sees mankind and sees the Light of Jesus in His People. God saves the world in Jesus Christ.

Exodus 15:6-16

Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power,
your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.
7 In the greatness of your majesty you overthrow your adversaries;
you send out your fury; it consumes them like stubble.
8 At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up;
the floods stood up in a heap;
the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea.
9 The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake,
I will divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them.
I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.’
10 You blew with your wind; the sea covered them;
they sank like lead in the mighty waters.

11 “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like you, majestic in holiness,
awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?
12 You stretched out your right hand;
the earth swallowed them.

13 “You have led in your steadfast love the people whom you have redeemed;
you have guided them by your strength to your holy abode.
14 The peoples have heard; they tremble;
pangs have seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 Now are the chiefs of Edom dismayed;
trembling seizes the leaders of Moab;
all the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.
16 Terror and dread fall upon them;
because of the greatness of your arm, they are still as a stone,

Glory, fury, trembling, terror and dread.

Exodus 16
Provision: Manna tastes like coriander seed, white, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

Exodus 17 Doubt
7 And he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the quarreling of the people of Israel, and because they tested the Lord by saying, “Is the Lord among us or not?”

Exodus 18
9 And Jethro rejoiced for all the good that the Lord had done to Israel

11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods, because in this affair they dealt arrogantly with the people.”

Jethro sees rejoicing, acts of God, work to wear out, isolation and worn out.

Exodus 18:23 Emotional Advice

"If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied."

Exodus 18:19 Encourage, Teach and Edify, Ephesians 4 advice. Prayer.
Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people's representative before God and bring their disputes to him.

Exodus 19:5
Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine

The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20:1
And God spoke all these words
24 In every place where I cause my name to be remembered I will come to you and bless you.

Exodus 21
Finds fights break out. Many, many examples of the fights.

Exodus 21:22
"If people are fighting and a pregnant woman is hit and gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows."

Exodus 21:35
"If anyone's bull injures the bull of another and it dies, the two parties are to sell the live one and divide both the money and the dead animal equally. This law also applies if the bull gores a son or daughter.

Exodus 21:30
However, if payment is demanded, the owner's life may be redeemed by the payment of whatever is demanded.

Exodus 21:27
And an owner who knocks out the tooth of a male or female slave must let the slave go free to compensate for the tooth.

Exodus 21:12
"Anyone who strikes someone a fatal blow is to be put to death."

Exodus 21:1
"These are the laws you are to set before them:"

Exodus 22
Words run on and carry harsh ways. Economic principals enter in.

Exodus 22:28
"Do not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people."

Exodus 22:27
Because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can your neighbor sleep in? When he cries out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

Exodus 22:1
"Whoever steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep."

Exodus 22:25
"If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest."

Exodus 23
Power is garnered and gathered.

Exodus 23:24
Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces

Exodus 23:1
Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness.

Exodus 23:28
I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.

Hornets?

Exodus 24

Exodus 24:7
Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, "We will do everything the LORD has said; we will obey."

Exodus 24:3
When Moses went and told the people all the LORD's words and laws, they responded with one voice, "Everything the LORD has said we will do."

Exodus 25
Building up begins

Exodus 25:28
Make the poles of acacia wood, overlay them with gold and carry the table with them. NIV

Exodus 25:40
See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.

Exodus 26

Exodus 26:1
"Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim worked into them by skilled hands."

Exodus 26:28
The center crossbar is to extend from end to end at the middle of the frames.

Exodus 27
Have you seen Home Depot?

Exodus 27:10
With twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.

Exodus 27:3
Make all its utensils of bronze – its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans.

Exodus 28
Prayer and the Heart are strongly considered

Exodus 28:36
"Make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD."

Exodus 28:29
Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of decision as a continuing memorial before the LORD.

Exodus 28:2
Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.

Exodus 29
God and our everyday activities
The Temple Householder Actions

Exodus 29:30
The son who succeeds him as priest and comes to the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place is to wear them seven days.

Exodus 29:31
"Take the ram for the ordination and cook the meat in a sacred place."

Exodus 29:45
Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God.

Exodus 29:37
For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.

Exodus 30
Finding Sacred

Exodus 30:31
Say to the Israelites, 'This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come."

Exodus 30:32
Do not pour it on anyone else's body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred.

Exodus 30:36
Grind some of it to powder and place it in front of the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.

So many times, Jesus and the Gospels report what happens 'immediately'. When we thoughtfully consider Jesus wrote of the process of the Prodigal Son - we realize the Exodus certainly takes time. Finding each day, the process of every day and the ability to find Sacred.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
