not just the fires

So many first responders in the LA Palisades area and all of LA had the first responders, firemen, fighting to save their own homes, childhood homes, family homes.

This is tragic. We pray for LA in the recent cancellations of fire insurance by national insurance companies.

Christian Freedom.
Jews are stoic. Greeks Epicurean. Slaves are victims of tragedy, war, given as Joseph was into slavery by families for need or greed. Free in this context could mean free or it could mean opportunity.  This could include the wealthy who had many slaves. Jesus did not shun women, He spoke with women, helped women and protected women. Jesus has encouraged all souls to be seen as His. Saying what we do to the least of people, we do to Jesus Himself.

We just completed Christmas and in the New Year,  songs speaks of difference in just celebrating Christmas. But this is a great analogy for seeing seasons in life. Seasons as young or old, not every season is identical. Texas loves to sing Feliz Navidad Prospero año y felicidad! Does the Midwest or New England today - we all have different traditions!
