John 14 ~ You will manifest Yourself to us

John 14

14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going."

5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

12 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

15 If you love me, you will keep my commandments.


16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.


18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?”

23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.


Rise, let us go from here.

Mount Tabor is the mountain easily climbed, pretty well determined to be the site of the Transfiguration.

And would easily fit into 2020 being an uphill climb.

And in going with the Lord God we are going forth in this 2020 year.

Isaiah 57:10
You wearied yourself by such going about, but you would not say, 'It is hopeless.' You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint.

Patmos and Mount Tabor are a little similar and John was there for both. This is the view from John's Cave on Patmos.

One Sunday, the cave walls fell away and John was sitting with Jesus about 60 years later.

When we think about renewal, where would you anticipate your soul to live in your body? Brain? Most people would say near the heart - giving the heart importance in emotional responses.

Deliberation. Make your soul deliberately placed for heart, prayer, love and emotions renewal daily. Making our eternal soul
Prepared for the Lord.

What if your soul has a entrance like the cave John lived in on Patmos?

Job 14:14

If someone dies, will they live again? 

All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come.

Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, 

judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

Titus 3:5

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit

Your brain will not remember your life - your soul will.

Live and dwell in us this day and always.

Live in those we Love, we ask in Jesus Christ.

When we seek You first, Father God. Each day is sufficient.

We find more Heaven on earth. And give more Heaven on earth.

In Jesus, finding we are excited about Love or God or the day or a new plan.

God's Mercies Renew. Daily. This optimism is called in Scripture, 

"Daily He Loadeth us with Benefits." 

The Joy of the Lord is Strength.

Soulful prayers, a tool for the heart, brain and soul. To deliberately find what is joyful in Life. When one is excessively burdened, the beginning of mindful prayers can make the eyes mist up. Fine, well and good. The Journey has begun to find what is good to create Strength and Joy. Thanks be unto God, our Father.

Our Father in Heaven,

hallowed be Your Name.

10 Your kingdom come,

Your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

Yours is the Kingdom,

the Power

and the Glory.

Isaiah 49:1-6 ~ my God has been my strength

Jesus Christ
Acts 3:15

Father God is the Author of Life.
 God could have designed the 7 days of the week to always be Sunday and Sabbath. This is absolutely within His reach. Instead, Jesus says this:

Mark 2:27
Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

In the middle of life - We are not without the Holy Spirit on Monday to Saturday.
In fact, we should search our soul, heart, mind for Jesus in the events surrounding us. Bringing us to the message - we are to bring our souls to Jesus and say, "This is what I did with the soul You gave me, Father. I believe in Jesus Christ, Your only Son, my Savior."

We are to become God's treasured Soul.
God gives us gifts. What we bring of our soul back to God - is our gift of thanks to God. To give thanks as a sacrifice. What we don't do to bring God our Thanks in our lives to show Him we learned His Ways.

When we find something leading us to be the Children of God, we should stop and lean to our Father. Here is something this week leaning to Father God. It's not God, but we can take sincere thought and do as Jesus says, "Rise."

And where will we take these thoughts that cause us worry?
To God and His Word. The Purposes of the Lord are our Hope and Future. Find the Word of God - Jesus - in life around you.

So, my family listens to the TWUMC all the time. On You Tube. We hear Jesus loves, loves, loves you - abide in God. And this Sunday we heard Reach for what matters.






The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

One of my personal motivational moments was checking out of Sam's Club.
The sweet check-out lady reached over and said, "God has given you what you need - TODAY. Be a Blessings Seeker." You know - this has motivated me for 8 years. Changed my life. See what you are GIVEN. Be Grateful. I'm pretty sure the Holy Spirit reached out. See what God has given this very day.

This last week was tough - my mom has Alzheimer's. And is pretty confused. She is on and she is off.
Be careful of the elderly with autopay. Mother has had 4 insurance health payments. She wouldn't let me assist at her bank before. She has two TV companies at 500 dollars per month. And her crafty home alarm company was charging her 6 times a month with very brief name changes. The Bank told me this week, they see the elderly horribly taken in with autopay bills. I've put 40 hours in just trying to straighten out the TV over and over. We finally quit and started over. One medical procedure wants her to pay for a false diagnosis to have an operation and put her in the nursing home - their nursing home. $1600.

Edward is holding On WELL. He has placed in 2 A Tier Disc Golf tournaments - he is retired having been diagnosed with Frontal Temporal Dementia. All the Grabbing - Give Us This Day - Has Made Edward Happy and Grateful Every Day.

Taking what you have - making Life. Being Filled With God.

We think our oldest son passed the Bar Exam we prayed about. He is concerned about finding his first job in this time period.

We had a call from New Mexico,  dear friends are both unemployed and will totally change life for their family taking a grandfather with them. They are embracing the change for something new they rather hoped to do.

We had a call today from the East Coast, dear friends are very worried about masking making political decisions when their health has underlying conditions. One feels rude to speak up.

Edward was worried today in public for a public person in Houston deciding at close to age 70 not to mask up. How do you say to the older people - don't run around without a mask? With Covid brains and not as a close friend - what do you say? People overreact these days.

We can pray.




The message is from 2018. It's not political - this is HEART.

This is an interesting commentary - when choices are narrower.

Narrower choices can lead to a deeper observation

and life changes of great meaning

with personal and soul filled Joy 

Petra, we recognize the Alhambra. Unless we see how truly enormous this old Temple is. We need perspective.

And incredibly narrow path journey to Petra. Land of Esau.

The Entrance to Petra is Wadi Muse, a corruption of the word "Moses".

 It is believed the Children of Israel visited Petra, before it was developed, in their journey. This can flood and kill the unwary with flash floods. Camels are often taken today.

Where we will stand to launch from:

Believing God is for us.

Of one thing we can be certain. All have fallen short of the Glory of God.
And in learning this, we will find ourselves disappointed in all people at one time or another. And if we had to rely upon our own good intentions and goodness - we wouldn't save ourselves. We will even let ourselves down. And we really need to see our own motivation to God. Finding in ourselves what Nature of God pulls us to His Love.

God has said Rise up.

Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

God loves us to know God goes with us.

An Arrow travels a Narrow Path

Who knew even an arrow could wobble?

God still finds the Way, Truth and Life.

Isaiah 49:1-6 

Listen to me, you islands;

hear this, you distant nations:

Before I was born the Lord called me;

from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.

2 He made my mouth like a sharpened sword,

in the shadow of his hand he hid me;

he made me into a polished arrow

and concealed me in his quiver.

3 He said to me, “You are my servant,

Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.”

4 But I said, “I have labored in vain;

I have spent my strength for nothing at all.

Yet what is due me is in the Lord’s hand,

and my reward is with my God.”

5 And now the Lord says—

he who formed me in the womb to be his servant

to bring Jacob back to him

and gather Israel to himself,

for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord

and my God has been my strength—

6 He says:

“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant

to restore the tribes of Jacob

and bring back those of Israel I have kept.

I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,

that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

Abba,

We know days can be difficult. And we know where we will put our Trust.

Father, Lord God has called me from the womb,

from the body of my mother, he named my name.

Our God has made mouths, we sometimes use a sharp sword.

We would want His Mercy and Refuge in the shadow of His Hand, He hid me

Our Father God has made me a polished arrow; in His quiver, He hid me away.

 And He said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

Days may come.

I have said, “I have labored in vain;

I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity;

yet surely my right is with the Lord,

and my recompense with my God.”

And now the Lord says,

He who formed me from the womb to be His servant

for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord,

and my God has become my strength—

He says:

“It is too light a thing that you should be my servant

I will make you as a light for the nations,

that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Thus says the Lord,

The Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One

because of the Lord, who is faithful,

the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”

The Restoration of Israel

Thus says the Lord:

“In a time of favor I have answered you;

in a day of salvation, I have helped you

Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth;

break forth, O mountains, into singing!

For the Lord has comforted his people

and will have compassion on his afflicted.

Then all flesh shall know

that I am the Lord your Savior,

and your Redeemer

For this Great a Salvation

Jesus, please cover us in the Name of Jesus,

Praying You cover those we Love.

 and we would cover all the people God has given us.

We would cover this Nation,

our employments, Churches and communities.

We would cover all the Nations in the Name of Jesus.
Praying for Brazil and Beirut.

Ephesians 1 ~ In Love He predestined us for adoption to Himself

Greeting
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,

To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus:

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 14

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 
who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 

4 even as he chose us in him before 
the foundation of the world, 

We know Jesus Christ Ascended Bodily into Heaven.

We would like to soar over our problems, sometimes bewildered and confused. 

God our Father put us instead at the foundation. The foundation of the world.

Walking the Red Sea is walking the foundation of the world.

Walking the foundations of the world, with dry feet.

Literally we have reached the depths.

In the midst of crossing the Red Sea, it wasn't physical isolation - yet surely - 

the amount of fear was debilitating. The required calm to not panic others.

Something our concerns today could relate to this circumstance.

That we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, 
which he set forth in Christ 
10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

Cloud by day, Fire by Night

would take the desert and bloom

just enough to understand God's provision

yet still the desert

where all understood - they wanted something more

The desert of the Exodus would Bloom.

God had made the desert livable.

Allowing us in the intense change,

to believe in Heaven.

11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, 
having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. 

God has never left us in the desert.

13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, 
and believed in him, 
were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 
14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, 16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him

18 Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints

19 And what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe,
according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 

21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

In this season of being tired, in a season of striving, in a season of serious concerns, and people who act so oddly. We will not remain tired and drained as we do the Good Works God has prepared for us to walk in.

Ephesians 3:17-19

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

 Then you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of His love

 And to know the love of Christ 

that surpasses knowledge, 

that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Jesus Prays for us all daily. Wonderful.
Almighty God!

Open our hearts to Your Presence

in a Mighty and Powerful Way,

To know You Love!

You are So Strong, Father God.

Help us to Seek You First, Guiding us to open our eyes to You and Your Heaven and Possibilities.

To bring Heaven by call, act and to give others Heaven.

Eyes beyond ourselves to be Part of You. To see Your earth as Good and delight in mankind.

To live by faith. The Work You have given all mankind. Be encouraged.

Jesus, Wonderful Jesus, we ask despair, hopelessness to lift. The Emptiness to be lifted to You.

All are given the ministry to Have Your Living Spirit. And in this ministry, we will not lose Heart.

Hard pressed on every side, but we are not crushed. Perplexed - Not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Life is At Work in Us in Jesus Christ. Raised with Jesus. He is Present.

We are called to make a difference in our world. We will not give up and rely on Jesus praying for us daily.

In Jesus, His Love, to end dejection, depression and apathetic thoughts. Paul was kept alive by his Unshakable Belief in Jesus we can do all things. Renewed daily, raised by Jesus. This is Good News for Us.

We are not alone, this is momentary affliction. In Jesus, Life will be revealed in us.

In Affliction -

Daily we will laugh, think, let our emotions move us to tears. Where we have been, where we are and Jesus will take us where we want to be. Find the Blessings of give us this Day. Work hard to find the Blessing. In Jesus, we will not lose heart. God is for us.

All Things work together for Good, for those who Love the Lord and work according to His Purpose.

Jesus help us in this Nation to be in Your Word and more Joyful.

Covered in God's Love, we are with God. Not left. Be Encouraged.
