9 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Say to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, ‘Come near before the Lord, for he has heard your grumbling.’”
10 And as soon as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness,
and behold,
the glory of the Lord
appeared in the cloud.
Today was so beautiful, it looked like we'd never have bad weather again. Cool. Sunny. Blue Skies. Perfect today.
May 6th is
National Day of Prayer
Let's take some time and wonder what the Glory of God looks like in a Cloud.
This Glory also occurs, later, when Solomon builds the Temple David lovingly planned and set aside the materials.
Was this a Visible Crown for the King of Kings?
Or perhaps this was a Display of God's Favorite Color surrounding His Throne in Revelation.
Was this The Lord God Almighty showing Manna?
Did the Sky Open to Reveal the Cloud by Day and the Glory of God?
This might have been the preliminary announcement of the Star of Bethlehem, the Star of David.
This photo is said to be a rare occurrence called Sky Punch.
The Hand of God feeds His Children. This display nourished the Children of God.
This Cloud is explained during the Dedication of the Temple as being too dense to see through.
We will all know the answer One Fine Day in Jesus the Lord. And we know this today:
God's Word is Living and God spoke:
Genesis 1:14
Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and
for days and years."
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Romans 1:19
For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
Psalm 8:1
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
Psalm 89:5
The heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.
Psalm 97:6
The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory.
Psalm 145:10
All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You.
Our Abba, Father,
Dwell in us this day
and fill us with Your Love and Encouragement on the Day of Prayer!
Hope soars. Prayers heard!
Blessed be Jesus
Live in our families
and in those we Love.
Blessed are You Lord God Almighty. Blessed be the Joy You had in Creation and the Goodness. Setting Your Holy Spirit above the waters.
Seeing Your Glory, profoundly reminds me of my size. God is God. We are not. Profoundly glad, Father, not to be God. You tell Your Messengers "Fear Not!"
Blessed be Jesus, God of God, Light of Light.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus - we have boldness and confidence to know - the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart is seen in Your Heart. We know our prayers are safe, and known, to You.
Praying this busy week for all our families will be productive, joyful and blessed by Jesus Christ.
We ask Good Health for Elliot.
We give You Thanks. Praise God that the Glory of God is His. His Might, His Wonder and His Wisdom. Upon His Name Jesus we are covered and grateful for His Righteousness.
He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret, and He saw two boats by the lake
But the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.
Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him to put out a little from the land.
And Jesus sat down and taught the people from the boat.
4 And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
5 And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”6 And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking. 7 They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. 8 But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”
9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish that they had taken, 10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid;
from now on you will be catching men.”
11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.
Sometimes, when the Scriptures repeat - because I pray and pick them before knowing what the Scripture is - it is because we have not finished examining God's Living Word. God's Word is so important. Yesterday we saw this same Scripture passage and thought about being mature in the Lord and seeking Jesus as He is. Being more filled with Hope.
Today was the two boats of this passage for me. One was the feeling of profound joy to be at home, comfortable and have a day of rest.
Then the second boat was more like this garden:
Suddenly, being vaccinated, life is open again.
Similar to the end of World War II having some severe rations after the victory - almost every opportunity is colliding with the next one and plans are made and unmade with all the 'situations'. We are all in a time of opinions. TomAto Tom.ato. Sea of Galilee. lake of Gennesaret, Lake Tiberias, Kinneret.
Move the furniture. Others can't help. I was doing a donation and was advised to wait because too much is actually going on for this to flow smoothly. Fix the 'this', hurry up and wait. Invited to go here, but that collides with another thing. Make plans there, someone else didn't do this that, so that plan is cancelled. Polite this, receives rude that. One person has a situation to discuss, but you can't entirely help because we all have a different opinion. Even to buy building supplies, some stores are not completely stocked due to Pandemic closures. Even the trees in Texas are a little snow bitten back. Both of our air conditioning units decided 84' was too warm.
Our relationships are opening up and all need time to adjust to the garden having a new dimension.
We can't decide if we like the old eyeglasses or the new ones.
The catch of fish is so large, will the refrigerator be enough. Where will we get more workers.
Did we want too much, too little.
Peter is deciding in this passage. What is meaningful....
How to achieve meaningful life when everyone is a shaken up lava lamp. Peter is trying to decide if he is just a small, fade like the flowers of the field man, always hoping for the Big Catch Day to Arrive. Or, if sitting with someone who finds this easy, is as frightening as can be.
Today, instead of looking at Peter growing up, let's realize Jesus is with Peter.
Jesus causes so many things to change immediately. Peter is in a zoom moment.
As Peter's emotions and the events happen, Jesus doesn't make Peter swallow an all-knowing pill of Jesus being God the Almighty, Salvation of the world.
Instead, Jesus lives the moment on the Sea of Galilee with a bewildered Peter.
Peter might be in deeper waters than he thought.
Jesus isn't fixing Peter.
Not like John's Gospel Chapter 6, the boat immediately arrived. Not like Paul where, "the scales dropped immediately from his eyes and he could see."
Jesus is spending time with Peter, just as he is. Giving God's Word.
Giving a new idea. A New Direction.
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
Hebrews 1:1
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times
and in various ways
John 4:23
Yet a time is coming and has now come
when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth,
for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
Jesus had an idea of the plan and scope of the journey. Jesus is spending time with Peter in the today.
Abba, Father,
Help us to seek You first.
Then we have Strength and Joy.
We ask this for those we Love.
The people You have given us.
Jesus is the Word of God Manifest
Jesus is alive and working!
Our lives never had origin in the human will,
we are but human, mortal,
Your Plan for a Hope and our Future
is our Plan spoken from God
we are carried along by the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus, we are confident You will carry us
to completion in Jesus Christ.
Your Promises are certain. Today. Always.
You have taught us earnestness is the most important, with Love, as we pray.
And Jesus knew sometimes tongues and minds go still in urgent need.
Jesus gave us Words to Pray. The Lord's Prayer.
We never go wrong to simply tell You. And ask You to Live in us.
Help us to Seek You First.
For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
In His Eternal Home according to the riches of His Glory
He may grant you to be strengthened with power
through His Spirit
in your inner being,
For Jesus Christ to dwell in your hearts through faith
God of Love Steadfast Encouragement
—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may have strength
to comprehend with all the saints
what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
Please pray for me, I'm not feeling well
Knowing the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge,
Being filled with all the fullness of God.
The Lord Jesus and His Mercy on our Nation.
God's Love and Protection upon His Good Creation,
the fullness of His earth.
We pray Your Willing Healing lavishly upon Elliott.
And Cindy and Janet and their family.
Your Mercy. Father, Your Mercy.
Our God,
Father,
Almighty,
Shepherd of our Souls,
The Prodigal Father running to us.
He is able to do far more abundantly
than all that we ask or think,
according to the power at work
within us,
To Jesus Christ
Displaying God the Father as
Healer of the blind
Freeing and healing the deaf
the lame rise up and walk
the leper is cleansed
the dead have life and are returned to their loved ones
To this Jesus at work, living, dwelling within
To Jesus be glory in the church
and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,
forever and ever.
Amen!
We pray in this Post, we are more than two agree, and in Joy we agree in Prayer.
The Healing of Elliott and for Cindy's family.
The Words of Jesus bless us.
Thank You. Alleluia. Amen.
Upward!
John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
The LORD judges the peoples; judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me. 9 Oh, let the evil of the wicked come to an end, and may you establish the righteous-- you who test the minds and hearts, O righteous God! 10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
11 God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day. 12 If a man does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and readied his bow; 13 he has prepared for him his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts. 14 Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies. 15 He makes a pit, digging it out, and falls into the hole that he has made. 16 His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence descends. 17 I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High.
Scriptures tell us life is messy and complicated.
Scriptures are the Good News of Overcoming.
Christians have something in common for all the diversity of normal Christian population. Christians are interested in knowing the life stories of the Bible. And when Christians get together conversation moves around life stories of God's people. We want to know Christians by their Love. Christians want to know what happens to people. Compassion is a constant.
Is Psalm 7 true? God would say Psalm 7 does not have variations.
For the villainous I've known - the internal makings of evil defeat themselves.
Love is a safety net. We have God's Promises.
And require us to have compassion and this mercy resets the conversation and life.
And I'd have to say, I do believe in the last resort of mankind - hell. Two of the most utterly self-serving and other people destroying - have died proclaiming fire loudly. Not a joy to proclaim this - however if we are going to count the cost - hell is a cost.
Do unto others. If we hope for the up building of our city, state and nation - we are filled with Hope.
If we hope our people/neighbors have Love, Peace and Joy - we bring this into our hearts.
When we pray - we hope to bring God's Love into our lives and His Love manifest into others.
We are actually doing as the Lord said and did and does - bringing His Love and Light into life. We want God's Love with all His Eternal Promises. And in this comfort and in the teaching of God - we have the Holy Spirit and His balm. God's Promises.
Abba, Father,
Help us to seek You First. We ask Your Blessings.
Help us find Your exact plan this week. Please bless our families and households
The balm of Your comfort and Love to do Your Plan. Encourage us in Your Plan. Strengthen us to do Your Plan. Guard us in safety to do Your Plan.
Keep us in Hope, Faith and Love to know Your Plan is being done and rejoice.
We need Your Mercy to keep us in Your Plan.
And Thank You. Thank You to be covered in Jesus.
We need more Heaven on earth daily.
And have the gladness of knowing God Himself favors the Request.
Let the Balm of Your Love be ours, the ones we love - covering us all unto the Nation.
Your balm covering our cares and anointing us to find the Joy of God. Daily.
Your Love flowing to the Nations trusting in You.
To all of Your Children asking for Your Favor in our lives today.
And asking for all of us to have Your healing and Your mercy.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say.
The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation.
The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
