Luke 13:19 ~ like a grain of mustard seed

Luke 13:19

It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden,
 and it grew
 and became a tree,
   and the birds of the air
      made nests
                in its branches.

Psalm 36:6
Thy righteousness is like the great mountains
thy judgments are a great deep
O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Galatians 3:2
I would like to learn just one thing from you:
Did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law,
or by hearing with faith?

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you

Psalm 65

9 You visit the earth and water it
you greatly enrich it;
the river of God is full of water
you provide their grain,
for so you have prepared it.

You water its furrows abundantly,
settling its ridges,
softening it with showers,
and blessing its growth.

You crown the year with your bounty

Abba, our Father,

This day, now may our Father God of endurance and encouragement
grant you harmony with one another
in Christ Jesus

With one mind and one voice
you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

Abba, may we be Blessed to see more Heaven on earth,
for our selves and souls,
for the ones we Love and give to You,
covering so far as to Bless our Nation Trusting in You,
Nations shine at Your Brightness, Abba.
Love over Your Good Creation blessing the believers, the saints, with more Heaven on earth.

Blessed by the Lord be His land,
with the choicest gifts of heaven above,
and of the deep that crouches beneath,
with the choicest fruits of the sun
and the rich yield of the months,
with the finest produce of the ancient mountains
and the abundance of the everlasting hills,
with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness

In the Name of Jesus, You give His Love in us, Amen.

Deuteronomy 33 ~ The Lord came from Sinai and dawned from Seir upon us

Moses with Aaron and Joshua, Painted by Alexander Heubel

Moses gives an Abundant Blessing something Jacob also did

Ephesians 2:18
For through Him

we both have access
to the Father by one Spirit.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female,

for you are all
one in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:11
Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free,

Christ is all
and is in all.

Deuteronomy 33

This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death. 2 He said,

“The Lord came from Sinai
and dawned from Seir upon us;
he shone forth from Mount Paran;
he came from the ten thousands of holy ones,
with flaming fire at his right hand.

3 Yes, he loved his people,
all his holy ones were in his hand;
so they followed in your steps,
receiving direction from you,

4 when Moses commanded us a law,
as a possession for the assembly of Jacob.
5 Thus the Lord became king in Jeshurun,
when the heads of the people were gathered,
all the tribes of Israel together.

6 “Let Reuben live, and not die,
but let his men be few.”

7 And this he said of Judah:

“Hear, O Lord, the voice of Judah,
and bring him in to his people.
With your hands contend for him,
and be a help against his adversaries.”

8 And of Levi he said,

“Give to Levi your Thummim,
and your Urim to your godly one,
whom you tested at Massah,
with whom you quarreled at the waters of Meribah;
9 who said of his father and mother,
‘I regard them not’;
he disowned his brothers
and ignored his children.
For they observed your word
and kept your covenant.
10 They shall teach Jacob your rules
and Israel your law;
they shall put incense before you
and whole burnt offerings on your altar.
11 Bless, O Lord, his substance,
and accept the work of his hands;
crush the loins of his adversaries,
of those who hate him, that they rise not again.”

12 Of Benjamin he said,

“The beloved of the Lord dwells in safety.
The High God surrounds him all day long,
and dwells between his shoulders.”

13 And of Joseph he said,

“Blessed by the Lord be his land,
with the choicest gifts of heaven above,
and of the deep that crouches beneath,
14 with the choicest fruits of the sun
and the rich yield of the months,
15 with the finest produce of the ancient mountains
and the abundance of the everlasting hills,
16 with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness
and the favor of him who dwells in the bush.

May these rest on the head of Joseph,
on the pate of him who is prince among his brothers.
17 A firstborn bull—he has majesty,
and his horns are the horns of a wild ox;
with them he shall gore the peoples,
all of them, to the ends of the earth;
they are the ten thousands of Ephraim,
and they are the thousands of Manasseh.”

18 And of Zebulun he said,

“Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out,
and Issachar, in your tents.
19 They shall call peoples to their mountain;
there they offer right sacrifices;
for they draw from the abundance of the seas
and the hidden treasures of the sand.”

20 And of Gad he said,

“Blessed be he who enlarges Gad!
Gad crouches like a lion;
he tears off arm and scalp.
21 He chose the best of the land for himself,
for there a commander's portion was reserved;
and he came with the heads of the people,
with Israel he executed the justice of the Lord,
and his judgments for Israel.”

22 And of Dan he said,

“Dan is a lion's cub
that leaps from Bashan.”

23 And of Naphtali he said,

“O Naphtali, sated with favor,
and full of the blessing of the Lord,
possess the lake and the south.”

24 And of Asher he said,

“Most blessed of sons be Asher;
let him be the favorite of his brothers,
and let him dip his foot in oil.
25 Your bars shall be iron and bronze,
and as your days, so shall your strength be.

26 “There is none like God, O Jeshurun,
who rides through the heavens to your help,
through the skies in his majesty.
27 The eternal God is your dwelling place,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.
And he thrust out the enemy before you
and said, ‘Destroy.’

28 So Israel lived in safety,
Jacob lived alone,
in a land of grain and wine,
whose heavens drop down dew.
29 Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you,
a people saved by the Lord,
the shield of your help,
and the sword of your triumph!
Your enemies shall come fawning to you,
and you shall tread upon their backs.

as your days, so shall your strength be."

Jacob Blesses his Sons, painted by Dr. Harry Anderson

Both Moses and Jacob bless those who have completed life together. The days of sun and wind, cold and warmth, blessing and woe in the Hand of God together. Forgiveness is part of the blessing and life is done together. This is overcoming.

Lets briefly compare the blessings Jacob gave - notice - all his sons, as the arrived in Egypt. Genesis 40. Compared to the blessings of Moses entering the Promised Land.

Reuben, Reuben, you are my firstborn,
my might, the first sign of my strength,
excelling in honor, excelling in power.
Turbulent as the waters, you will no longer excel.

Let Reuben live, and not die,
but let his men be few.”

And this he said of Judah:

“Hear, O Lord, the voice of Judah,
and bring him in to his people.
With your hands contend for him,
and be a help against his adversaries.

Judah, your brothers will praise you
The scepter will not depart from Judah,
nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,
until he to whom it belongs shall come
and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

The Kingdom of Judah was the remnant He left from the Children of Israel. Jesus was to a descendant of Judah. Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

Simeon is not mentioned here but fought with Judah to have all their appointed land.

Levi-
They shall teach Jacob your rules
and Israel your law;
they shall put incense before you
and whole burnt offerings on your altar.
Bless, O Lord, his substance

Simeon and Levi are brothers—
or they have killed men in their anger
and hamstrung oxen as they pleased.
7 Cursed be their anger, so fierce,
and their fury, so cruel!

“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf;
in the morning he devours the prey,
in the evening he divides the plunder.”

Benjamin shares in his abundance and GOD dwells between his shoulders.

“Joseph is a fruitful vine,
his bow remained steady,
his strong arms stayed limber,
because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob,
because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,
25 because of your father’s God, who helps you,
because of the Almighty, who blesses you
with blessings of the skies above
"

“Blessed by the Lord be his land,
with the choicest gifts of heaven above"

Zebulun will live by the seashore
and become a haven for ships;
his border will extend toward Sidon.

They shall call peoples to their mountain;
there they offer right sacrifices;
for they draw from the abundance of the seas
and the hidden treasures of the sand.”

And of Gad he said

He chose the best of the land for himself,
for there a commander's portion was reserved

Gad will be attacked by a band of raiders,
but he will attack them at their heels.

Dan he said,

“Dan is a lion's cub
that leaps from Bashan.

“Dan will provide justice for his people
as one of the tribes of Israel.

“O Naphtali, sated with favor,
and full of the blessing of the Lord,
possess the lake and the south.”

Naphtali is a doe set free
that bears beautiful fawns.

Asher he said,

“Most blessed of sons be Asher;
let him be the favorite of his brothers,
and let him dip his foot in oil.

Asher’s food will be rich;
he will provide delicacies fit for a king.

Blessings are always of interest to us.

And it's Important to remember to be interested in the blessings of others! Notice the Blessing continues. God's Blessings do not come to an end. We bless people around us being pleased with their blessings. Our open heart expands His willingness to bestow His endless blessings.

Deuteronomy 28:12
The Lord will open to you his good treasury,
the heavens,
to give the rain to your land in its season
and to bless all
the work of your hands.
And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

Philippians 2:4-6

4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped

Philippians 2:17-18
Even if I am to be poured as a libation upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.

Romans 12:15
Rejoice with those who rejoice!
and weep with those who weep.

The Lord came from Sinai

and dawned from Seir upon us;
he shone forth from Mount Paran;
he came from the ten thousands of holy ones,
with flaming fire at his right hand.

Yes, he loved his people,

all his holy ones were in his hand;

so they followed in your steps,

receiving direction from you

“There is none like God, O Jeshurun,
who rides through the heavens to your help,
through the skies in his majesty.
The eternal God is your dwelling place,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.

Happy are you, O Israel!
Who is like you,

A people saved by the Lord,

The shield of your help,

The sword of your triumph!

This is the conduct He hopes to see in our hearts; He gives this to us to give to others.

Father God,

The Disciples and the Church of Jesus had a very questioning faith early Easter morning.

The First Easter began as tragic.

Christianity - The promises of God dismissed as unbelievable.

We have come a long way.

Remember this in our own lives, with faith.

We ask You, Father, in the Name of Jesus for more Heaven on earth. Amen.

John 7:14-31 ~ Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching

Luke 2. Jesus taught for days as a young boy.

John 7:14-31

14 About the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and began teaching.

15 The Jews, therefore, marveled, saying, "How is it that this man has learning when he has never studied?"

16 So Jesus answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. 17 If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority. 18 The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood. 19 Has not Moses given you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why do you seek to kill me?"

20 The crowd answered, "You have a demon! Who is seeking to kill you?"

21 Jesus answered them, "I did one work, and you all marvel at it. 22 Moses gave you circumcision (not that it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. 23 If on the Sabbath a man receives circumcision, so that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me because on the Sabbath I made a man's whole body well? 24 Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment."

25 Some of the people of Jerusalem, therefore, said, "Is not this the man whom they seek to kill? 26 And here he is, speaking openly, and they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Christ? 27 But we know where this man comes from, and when the Christ appears, no one will know where he comes from."

28 So Jesus proclaimed, as he taught in the temple, "You know me, and you know where I come from? But I have not come of my own accord. He who sent me is true, and him you do not know. 29 I know him, for I come from him, and he sent me."

30 So they were seeking to arrest him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.

31 Yet many of the people believed in him.

They said, "When the Christ appears, will he do more signs than this man has done?"

The mankind the Apostles of Jesus Christ view today, are the mankind of all of God's millenniums - called worthy of Salvation in Jesus Christ. Says our Father God.

We know Jesus was God's Authority since he was a teenager. And even before.

And this was the point of the Passage.

Jesus is recognized as God's Authority.

Even when we don't know what words - Jesus - was actually teaching.

God does not make His Authority point with the facts of Jesus teaching.

1. Jesus taught. 2. The people recognized God and heard Jesus. 3. Judea was just a suburb of Syria in the Roman Empire. 4. Three Hundred years of Jesus feared by Roman Emperors. 5. The world saw the change. 6. The 300 intact chapters of the New Testament in Papyrus 46 are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  Written during the lifetime of John the Disciple

7. Because we want Jesus, today, because we know Jesus is God's Son. And we, like the people in the crowd, press in to know Jesus.

Abba, our Father,

You Live. And because of Your Blessing we live and move and have our being.

By asking for You, You are there. When we seek Jesus, He is there.

All of Your Word is true. You have said so.

Because You tell us You are God of Love. God of Encouragement. Because of this Love, we trust You. We want You, our Father because Jesus is Your exact nature.

Jesus knows the ordinances of the Heavens. Jesus fixes the rule of the Heavens over the earth. Jesus lifts up His voice to the clouds. Jesus is Living Water walking on water. Jesus takes Peter from the abundance of water immediately. Jesus hears Your voice in Lightning.

Jesus has put wisdom in our innermost being. Jesus gives us His understanding of the mind.

Jesus has shown us water jars from the Heavens.

Jesus answers His Loved Ones. Jesus, please, more Heaven on earth. For us. For our Loved Ones. High as the Nation. Wide as the Nations and people covering Your Good Creation seeking Your Heaven on earth.

Because of Jesus, I believe we shall see His Goodness in the Land of the Living.

Jesus Christ is God's Son, our Savior. Amen.

Matthew 9:18-31 ~ crying aloud, "Have mercy on us, Son of David."

Matthew 9:18-31

18 While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

19 And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples.

20 And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, 21 for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.”

22 Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.”

And instantly the woman was made well.

23 And when Jesus came to the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, 24 he said, “Go away, for the girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him. 25 But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

26 And the report of this went through all that district.

27 And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about it.”

31 But they went away and spread his fame through all that district.

Ezekiel 37:4-6

4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

When we think of the Gospels and Jesus healing - we remember Lazarus. The son and his mother in Nain, were a very important point in Jesus and His Resurrection. Nain occurred in front of a very large crowd - allowing the Children of Israel to see Jesus could very well bring the dead to life. Making the Resurrection of Jesus fully believable to all of Israel.

Both Lazarus and the mother 's son - were so very, very dead a funeral was held.

Jairus' daughter is so dead - the funeral flutes had arrived. Jairus waited a long time to go and find Jesus. It was far too late. Jairus had reached the place in his daughter's death of shaved heads and beards, probably. When thinking of the funeral flutes, the scene from Narnia arrives. The flutes are sad.

Jeremiah knew of sad flutes.

Jeremiah 48:
36 Therefore my heart moans for Moab like a flute, and my heart moans like a flute for the men of Kir-hareseth. Therefore the riches they gained have perished. 37 “For every head is shaved and every beard cut off.

Jeremiah is speaking the Grief of God. Just as Jesus wept for Lazarus. God did not lightly promise to stay with us.

Matthew 9 begins like this:

11 And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12 But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 Go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

And because this is a passage on Jesus healing - we find Jesus heals sinners. Jairus was not breaking ranks to find Jesus until hope was lost. And Jesus helped the man. Regardless of rank. Jairus (unless his daughter's death was remarkably fast) was playing rank before death just like the Narnia video. That's an incredible risk for a man unless He is God's Son. Something to wonder - if Jairus was hoping Jesus would either be God or fall out.

Scriptures are live and there are many variables of Living Word of God. Consider the innocence of the girl. Jesus has healed her. She is young in her faith walk. Jesus touched her and her life returned. John explains this:

John 1
4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

John has walked with Jesus and witnessed so many spectacular miracles of God, John is capable to explain this in such few words.

The young girl portrays the overwhelming Power of Jesus as God.

The mature woman demonstrates asking Jesus and following Him expecting His Goodness. This older woman is going to walk with Jesus to find His timing, actually. Patience and faith.

The blind men tell us a prayer life is speaking with God. Not telling God He is God and knows. Jesus prefers to hear from us. To be asked to participate and help. Our Father tells us to pray all the time. Jesus tells us always pray with hope.

Abba, Father God,

In all situations, in Joy, in upset, in anger (Your Word tells us anger is not wrong but stay in self-control) in seeking Blessing of Yours - we need Gratitude.

Sometimes we need to think of our favorite Jesus moment in life or in the Word of God. Thinking of Jesus reaching down to make sure Peter is fine, plucking him out of the water. I was thinking in prayer of being on the boat and Proclaiming Christ the Lord when the wind and the waves are calmed by the Word of God.

We pray more gratitude. We pray more comfort of the Holy Spirit.

We pray Healing. We pray Loved One Covered.

We pray Jesus on the Nation. We pray Jesus on the Media and Hollywood. We pray Jesus all over this world. On the believers of today and the Children of God tomorrow.

God is Love.

We say Amen for all this Prayer with Jesus Christ, Son of God. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 3:1-13 ~ Stand fast in the Lord

1 Thessalonians 3:1-13

Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we were willing to be left behind at Athens alone, 2 and we sent Timothy, our brother and God's coworker in the gospel of Christ,

to establish and exhort you in your faith,
that no one be moved by these afflictions.

For you yourselves know that we are destined for this. 4 For when we were with you, we kept telling you beforehand that we were to suffer affliction, just as it has come to pass, and just as you know. 5 For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to learn about your faith, for fear that somehow the tempter had tempted you and our labor would be in vain.

6 But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and has brought us the good news of your faith and love and reported that you always remember us kindly and long to see us, as we long to see you— 7 for this reason, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and affliction we have been comforted about you through your faith. 8 For now we live, if you are standing fast in the Lord. 9 For what thanksgiving can we return to God for you, for all the joy that we feel for your sake before our God, 10 as we pray most earnestly night and day that we may see you face to face and supply what is lacking in your faith?

11 Now may our God and Father himself,

and our Lord Jesus,
direct our way to you, 12 and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all,
as we do for you,
so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father,
at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

James, the Brother of Jesus. The man who ate dinner with Jesus. Bothered Jesus sibling style. Goaded Jesus in life recorded in His Word. Lived to Love Jesus. James said this Word of God - We ask Father God to give wisdom. The result is - He will.

We want to say to Jesus when we arrived at our Heavenly Home ~ "I stood for Your Great Love, Jesus."

Our standard is Jesus.
He is the one to look for.
Would Jesus do this?
This is the frame of all reference.

And Easy to Remember.

1 .Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Our standard agrees with God's Word. God's Word stands very firm. God does not need our belief for God to be God.

2. We want to be in daily relationship with God and read His Word. Expecting His Word to make a difference in your heart. Spiritual roots. Prayer. Small group Bible Study recorded in Book of Acts - encouragement.

3. Open mind to God and His Will. Not our established pride.

Believing God would want to have a good plan for you. We ask God to be Open to Him. Give HIM time each day to let His truth soak in us and have truth established in our soul. More than emotion. To be like Jesus moving to Capernaum to be near the faithful.

3. Speak the Truth. God's way says follow Him.

4. Solely self or doing God's Will. He gets you out of trouble. He puts you on your path of His.

5. Do what is just and right in integrity. We put forth God's way and let Him decide the fate of the seed. God is sovereign.

6. This would please Jesus as His Child. Jesus called us His Beloved. When we trust God, His plan for for us is good.

7. Bring thoughts to Jesus. Pray constantly to be centered in Jesus, to please Jesus and in firm expectation that He is going to help.

8. Bitter, hurt, grudge envy and selfish ambition is not from God; creating a cold heart. Let it go. Avoid what isn't good for you. Like bad TV or fuzzy noise. Peace, loving, considerate, impartial and sincerity is from Jesus.

9. Record the truth. Write this down. Not to be choked out by the concerns, glories and riches of life. Be still to know God.

10. Trust God when we don't understand.

10 years ago, I had a dream of Heaven. My grandmother Anita was nearby. She said life feels vastly overwhelming. Not to worry. God has this in His Control. Live with God each day and please Him by trying. All will work out. I tend to believe my Grandmother when she tells me about Father God. Sincerely.

Father God, we just ask would this please God.

Asking Your blessings. Your forgiveness. Grace to others. God guide our nation, state, city. Our Church leaders. Our family. Our friends and loved ones. Help us best do Your will for our day and lives. Your mercies renew and repeat. Help our open minds see You at work, Father God.

Let us let go of distractions and trust in You, Father God.

Open our eyes each day to see Your blessings and remember the blessings. Let us live each day saying Give us this day. Knowing as we rest this evening - we did please You. In Jesus let Your Will be done. Amen.

Genesis 30:25-43 ~ Provide for my own household +

Genesis 30:25-43

25 As soon as Rachel had borne Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own home and country. 26 Give me my wives and my children for whom I have served you, that I may go, for you know the service that I have given you.”

27 But Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your sight, I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me because of you. 28 Name your wages, and I will give it.”

29 Jacob said to him, “You yourself know how I have served you, and how your livestock has fared with me. 30 For you had little before I came, and it has increased abundantly, and the Lord has blessed you wherever I turned. But now when shall I provide for my own household also?”

31 He said, “What shall I give you?”

 Jacob said, “You shall not give me anything. If you will do this for me, I will again pasture your flock and keep it: 32 let me pass through all your flock today, removing from it every speckled and spotted sheep and every black lamb, and the spotted and speckled among the goats, and they shall be my wages. 33 So my honesty will answer for me later, when you come to look into my wages with you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats and black among the lambs, if found with me, shall be counted stolen.” 34 Laban said, “Good! Let it be as you have said.” 35 But that day Laban removed the male goats that were striped and spotted, and all the female goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had white on it, and every lamb that was black, and put them in the charge of his sons. 36 And he set a distance of three days' journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob pastured the rest of Laban's flock.

37 Then Jacob took fresh sticks of poplar and almond and plane trees, and peeled white streaks in them, exposing the white of the sticks. 38 He set the sticks that he had peeled in front of the flocks in the troughs, that is, the watering places, where the flocks came to drink. And since they bred when they came to drink, 39 the flocks bred in front of the sticks and so the flocks brought forth striped, speckled, and spotted.

40 And Jacob separated the lambs and set the faces of the flocks toward the striped and all the black in the flock of Laban. He put his own droves apart and did not put them with Laban's flock. 41 Whenever the stronger of the flock were breeding, Jacob would lay the sticks in the troughs before the eyes of the flock, that they might breed among the sticks, 42 but for the feebler of the flock he would not lay them there. So the feebler would be Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

43 Thus the man increased greatly and had large flocks, female servants and male servants, and camels and donkeys.

(Yesterday's Post ... )

2 Samuel 5 ~ Nevertheless)

About 3:40 Jerusalem shows David's beginning work of Terracing all of Jerusalem. AMAZING Drone footage from Jerusalem The Movie. Com. We find Israel is as Jesus says, we will have trouble in Life. We also see why God says His Creation is Good - yesterday, today and tomorrow. Wow. Stunning.

Yesterday/s Post explains the obscure Plan of God. Amazing Jerusalem was not part of Israel until 1000 B.C. and filled many unforeseen Biblical comments. We see today David changed Jerusalem for 3000 years. And with all this God Planning seen in hindsight - the first family of Israel seems oddly unplanned.

Today -

Did God just blunder in?

Isaiah said Nations would arrive at the Birth of Jesus. And in the Magi this is true. Slavery is usually the result of foreign war - we have no idea what Nationalities combined to form the Sons of Jacob due to the slaves used as child bearers.

Joseph is being a blessing finder. I knew a family who were prosperous but not overwhelmingly so. When the wife had an opportunity to get a divorce, she did so. Claiming everything they owned was broken, repaired, used or not top shelf. The Divorce Attorneys were not impressed with the assets for their pay. The wife divorcing felt even more justified. Queen Elizabeth II said just as you count something as a sadness and burden, the real tragedy was yet to occur and in hindsight the burden was very, very light. And this proved to be the case in this family.

Jacob has a perpetual disagreement on his hands. A small sample of the events of the Middle East complete with foreign gods and greed. And Jacob is not looking for the perfection - Jacob is finding the hidden blessing. Prospering his life and the people depending on him by finding the way God would bless them. Jacob isn't so interested in fleeting perfections. Jacob is correctly looking for true substantial help for his family.

The Spots are Enjoyed. Israel's First Family is a melting pot.

Jacob was guessing using Almond Branches. Jacob might even only found only a foreshadowing of Aaron. Aaron would not be guessing as Aaron placed the Budding Walking, Dried up, stick, now filled with Almond Blossoms into the Ark of the Covenant. God is fully able and fully capable to make what is dry and make this bloom. God uses spotty people and spotty animals and spotty business deals to make the way to His Plan. Even spotty family.

Ebb and Flow. Prosperity and Adversity. God is planning through all seasons to provide Hope and Encouragement. The Bible leaves such accurate descriptions the Palace of David is found. The Bulla of Jeremiah's servant is found and even the Bible lists the servant's father. Because David's Palace is found - the bulla is found. The Scriptures tell us in great detail were Sarah (Jacob's grandmother is buried) and we are able to find the Natural description given and find this is accurate for the area. The bones of Sarah are known with Abraham and their Promises from God Live on. Spots and all.

Father God filled the world from Jacob working to provide for his family. This one family determined to live in plenty, in famine, in loss and in recovery. And with the endurance - Steadfast Love pressed down and pouring out like the Heavens spilling forth.

I've heard Leaders look at life and tell people to prepare for death. To realize the spots will get you. The Bible says take each season and find purpose and meaning. Prepare for Life. Jesus tells us He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

God is Good.

Abba,

In You we have Steadfast Love. Your Willing Blessings sustain us. Where we look to Life.

Surround, enfold, uplift our Loved ones. We trust them to You. We bless You for the Children of God praying for more Heaven upon the earth. We lift all of our cares into Your Willing Hands - so very wise and high - even the Nation is held in Your Arms as we trust in You. We continue with how High and Wide and Deep is Your Love for all the Nations trusting in You.

Blessed is the Name of Jesus. Where we are covered. In Jesus. Amen.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
