John 14 ~ I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe

John 14

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.”

5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.

20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me.

And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.

Rise, let us go from here.

Fear and Peace. This Chapter is a lot like Revelation Chapter One. Meeting Father God.

John Adams met George III and he was given advice.

1. Do not be afraid.
2. Speak the truth.
3. Address the king with face forward (bravely).

When Salome danced for King Herod, she was told she could have half of his kingdom. Why didn't she speak up and ask for half of the kingdom? For the same reason we have trouble with John 14:

Are we going to do more than Jesus?
Is the Helper never going to forsake me? Will I know this?

Yar - reverence is good.

God is the King of Peace.  He never asks us to bring Him Peace. He asks us to believe. The woman who grabbed the fringe of Jesus' robe was known in the Gospels to have some fear. She knew she would hold on to the King of Kings. This woman knew the Power of God belongs to God.

David always believed he could tell Father God exactly who he was and the desires of his heart. Even when God was apparently setting His Face towards His Plans, David would ask Father God for His Mercy. And in the belief, God was known to be giving.

When God says blessed are the Peace Makers, He talking about the give and take of life. He is not asking us to grab and manipulate God. Jesus asked the Father of the son at the foot of the hill of Transfiguration for his faith. Jesus is not asking us to do what God would willingly Give.

When the people gifted with healing are asked about God's capability, they respond with a great deal of Love and Awe for what Father God does willingly. One U.K. Priest said he spent years begging God for a little help for the needy people he loved in his congregation. One day, Light came from the altar and in his heart he was asked if Father God is a Good Father. Yes. Then pray as if God is Willing. And as if God knows His way around His Love, His Mercy, His Plan and His Hope. Miracles began to happen.

Pray Believing God is Good enough to be a Real Father. Argue. Explain. Tell. And Believe God is God. Open up the Window of our Love and our Heart and Believe God is so Good and gives Willingly Always.

Psalm 68:19
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

We find Gratitude. We rediscover our Love for God. We believe God does not need steel, non-worried humanity and approach God as we are tender, mortal, fallible people. God does not expect to not be Father God. And as we discover our gratitude, we find Love. And with Love we have a conversation pleasing God. And we are pleased and the windows of Heaven are open when we see the Blessings pouring around us.

God says He delights in seeing Hearts Loving God. David found God to be very, very merciful. The Disciples walked with Jesus in Awe. Jesus is so merciful.

We believe Jesus is God and we do what the Word of God manifest tells us. Love is not burdensome.

Abba,

Fill us with Your Love. And in this Amazing Love, let us have more Heaven on earth. We all have a very particular and gracious Prayer Request on our heart.

We come to You for health, for finances, for our loved ones, for what we sincerely need. Knowing You Know.

Thank You for hearing us. We know You are Merciful Father God.

Jesus Live in us. Help our Loved ones see more Heaven on earth.

We are asking for our heart's desires, because You told us graciously,  to always ask You. More Health. More Heaven. More Good News.

With Thanksgiving for all the Yes of God we have seen in our lives. Knowing doing more than Jesus is adding up all the Acts of God for Millenniums.

In Jesus' Love, we say God is our Father.
 Amen.

1 John 5:1-12 ~ the victory that has overcome the world

1 John 5:1-12

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.

And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 This is he who came by water and blood—

Jesus Christ

not by the water only but by the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree.

9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God that he has borne concerning his Son.

10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself.

Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.

11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

There are ancient trees stunning to mankind. The Sequoias in California date back to King David. The Olive trees on the Mount of Olives probably date back to Good Friday. And these Cedar of Lebanon are the species David collected for Solomon to build God His Temple.

Jesus is recorded talking about Trees. The Kingdom of Heaven is seen as a seed growing into a Vast Tree as shelter for many. Seasons of trouble - blood, flood - water and the Willingness of God. Jesus and the Gospels record with great Joy.

Luke 19
19 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. 2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. 3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.

When you find Psalm 23 and Psalm 24 we are Rising as Jesus told us to. Psalm 23 deals with the Willingness of God to provide. Psalm 24 are the Glories of God Providing and the Blessing of His Willingness and Capability.

If we consider this passage as Climbing Up, the Process of Heaven Growing, we find this:

1.Birth and Salvation - being Rooted in Jesus
God gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

2.The Path and Destination
Overcoming the World. He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us. But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Zacchaeus was truly seeking to see Jesus. His faith led him. Love. Not Burdensome. This is really very plain to see. Seek the Lord and He is found.

3. Man, that is a long way to the ground...
Anger and fear are in the Scriptures in abundance. If we say our faith is going to be the jet engine, we are going to have anxiety. We can't save ourselves. Consider all the Gospels. All of them. What if - is a great lesson. What if the Jesus Story was the deaf are healed, the blind see, lepers made well, lame walk. And All are healed. And Jesus lives happily ever after. We have Elijah. Elijah and Elisha are wonderful portions of the Bible. We don't expect Elijah to do anything for us. Wonderful to know Elijah had such incredible faith. Jesus does this Salvation and then Jesus is not going to be forgotten because He takes all our sins and we Live. We find Jesus is Alive.

The Gospels are telling us Jesus is working and so is His Father. Being born to believe Jesus is God today - is given by the Will of God.

Anxiety. Elijah has incredible faith. But God is the one who Works. All we have to know is Jesus is the Son of God and He is alive and working today. The Disciples were men constantly in fear. Elijah had fear. 72 Disciples and plenty said this is too much work and not always safe - I'm leaving. Peter was certainly no god. Peter looked at Jesus and said, "You have the Word of Life."

4. Water, Blood and Spirit. Way Up with Jesus.

Messy. Guaranteed. Aaron was invited into the Holy of Holies and God knew blood mess would arrive. Many of the 72 Disciples did not know what to do. The New Covenant of God living in mankind was messy. Guaranteed when multitudes returned to the Temple after the First Easter - God was Welcoming His Children. The Faith of Jesus Christ.

The Victory of God's Plan totally is achieved and seen and lived. In the Land of the Living.

The Victory of the Climb with Jesus. Easter is seen in this Life. All of Israel finds Life. Jesus brings a new earth. Jesus did not dash off to Heaven. He has shown us Life. And because of Jesus the Way, the Truth and the Life continue. The Truth of the Gospels is for this Life. The earth and it's fullness belong to God.

Psalm 24

The earth is the Lord's
and
the fullness thereof
the world
and those
who dwell therein

When we think of all the impossible claims of the Scripture. Jesus is the Light of the world. Jesus is before Abraham. Jesus is the Exodus. Jesus is Priest Forever. Jesus raises Jairus' daughter from the dead. The widow of Nain's son made alive from his funeral. Jesus healed them all. We are not claiming Life for Heaven alone, we are believing more Heaven on earth. We are believing in prayer, Jesus does all this. Jesus works today. Believing in the Chaos of conflict in the lives of the people of Scripture - is a Work of God. We are believing today God sorts out Faith and is God. Jesus states this clearly. God of the Living.

Abba,

Jesus is God and we pray as the Children of God.

We love the children of God, this is not burdensome. This is the Joy of seeing God overcome the world.

Victory has overcome the world — our Jesus, Jesus is the Son of God!

Over the waters the Holy Spirit has Lived. In Salvation, the Holy Spirit dwells in mankind. Jesus Christ Lives. We agree Jesus is God.

You are our Beloved Father God, Giving us the Victory of Your Son for ourselves, our Loved ones and the people of God. Saving the world.

We believes in the Son of God dwells in us and in our prayers to You.

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Blessed be God our Father for His Willing Blessings. Forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:1-4 ~ your Father who is in heaven

Image result for scripture for today blogspot Jesus

Matthew 6:1-4

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

2 “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Hebrews 7 ~ King of Peace

John 3:8
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound,
but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.
So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

See the source image

See the source image

Mary found Gabriel to be too way out, to hold on to in her day to day. I'm sure she "Believes God" and, yet, she wanted Jesus to come home to Nazareth and be quiet.

Abraham is found to be righteousness, a friend to God, for being credited for his Belief. And Abraham felt he needed to work God's plan for Him, to ensure God had not forgotten.

Joseph, the appointed earthly Father of Jesus Christ went home to Heaven after the Gospels record Joseph's Family was loving and seamless. Jesus wore a Chiton, a seamless Robe. Perhaps Joseph went Home to insure Joseph did not fight tooth and nail for His Son to Live.

G.K. Chesterton Quote:

“Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, "Do it again"; and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, "Do it again" to the sun; and every evening, "Do it again" to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.”

To Read Hebrews 7 is to be filled with so many ideas - we are on the Roller Coaster.

Hebrews 7

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, 2 and to him Abraham apportioned a tenth part of everything. He is first, by translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem,
that is,
King of Peace.

3 He is without father or mother or genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest forever.

4 See how great this man was to whom Abraham the patriarch gave a tenth of the spoils! 5 And those descendants of Levi who receive the priestly office have a commandment in the law to take tithes from the people, that is, from their brothers, though these also are descended from Abraham. 6 But this man who does not have his descent from them received tithes from Abraham
and blessed him who had the promises.

7 It is beyond dispute that the inferior is blessed by the superior. 8 In the one case tithes are received by mortal men, but in the other case, by one of whom it is testified that he lives.

9 One might even say that Levi himself, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, 10 for he was still in the loins of his ancestor when Melchizedek met him.

Jesus frequently sat and thought and prayed with a lot of quiet. We can do this in our car, office or home.  Like Psalm 23 studies the Blessings of Life, Psalm 24 studies God's abilities - creating and filling His Plan and all of earth.

Hebrews 7 is fleshing up, out and in Romans 3. God is doing something new. Moses has seen and witnessed from the Dead Sea Scrolls about Jesus. Jesus ideas take us from Abraham 2000 B.C. In two paragraphs - we have jumped 2000 Years - with a hop to 1500 B.C. Moses.

Paul, saying he travels with Timothy - the Author of Hebrews - says Paul believes like Jude, Brother of Jesus Christ - Jesus lived during the Exodus.

Jude 1:5
Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt

We are being told Jesus visited Abraham. As a Spirit living in the Priest.

Why would God do this? In Genesis - The Holy Spirit lived above the waters. God never leaves or forsakes US.

Hebrews 7 is the chaos of a very, very good and earnest conversation. Where we have to dart back and make another point from the conversation - oh 1,000 years ago. Like Good, Good Friends Do.

Say it loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
It's too late when we die
To admit we don't see eye to eye
I wasn't there that morning when my father passed away
I didn't get to tell him all the things I had to say
I think I caught his spirit later that same year
I'm sure I heard his echo in my baby's new born tears
I just wish I could have told him in the living years
Say it loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
The Living Years
Mike + The Mechanics

We 'hear in Living Word' what Father God is saying.

11 Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law),
what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron?

12 For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well. 13 For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.

15 This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement
concerning bodily descent,

but by the power of an indestructible life.

17 For it is witnessed of him,
“You are a priest forever,
    after the order of Melchizedek.”

18 For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness 19 (for the law made nothing perfect);

On the other hand, a better hope is introduced,
through which we draw near to God.

I'm certain, inside of me, God intends life to find us out. Will we Pitch, HIT, Hail Mary, Pass, Play.

Why would God call us to Keep the Sabbath Holy? To find in Worship, our Beauty. The Absolutely Stellar Beauty of God living and moving and having our Being to walk with and be filled with the Purpose of God.

Living Memory. When you have children, eventually Christmas presents don't fit life. We carry them out. And Yet Making Memories becomes who we are. We find our lives are shining moments and moments of despair we need to find God to Lead us and Guide us. We are being filled with God, the Hear oh Israel, Jesus is God moment, making us Immortal and Eternal - to know God is Living in us. Not Forsaking us. Giving us Life.

20 And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath, 21 but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him:

“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
‘You are a priest forever.’”

22 This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.

Matthew 3:17,Matthew 17:5,Mark 1:11,Mark 9:7,Luke 3:22 ...

Behold, a voice from heaven said,
This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

23 The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office,

24 Jesus holds his priesthood permanently,
because he continues forever.

25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost
those who draw near to God through him,
since he always lives to make intercession for them.

26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have
such a high priest,
holy,
innocent,
unstained,
separated from sinners,
and exalted above the heavens.

Papyrus 46, University of Michigan, c 60 A.D. to 125 A.D. Intact Hebrews Chapter 7
As Paul wrote Hebrews 7, The Temple of Jerusalem was doing daily sacrifices.

27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily,
first for his own sins
and then for those of the people,
since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.

28 For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests,

The word of the oath, which came later than the law,
appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

Psalm 24 ~ The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof!!! Selah! +

Presbyterian Overland Choir Presents Psalm 24 - Completely Beautiful

Psalm 24

A Psalm of David

The earth is the Lord's
and
the fullness thereof
the world
and those
 who dwell therein

He has founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the rivers.

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?

And who shall stand in his holy place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to what is false
and does not swear deceitfully.

5 He will receive blessing from the Lord
and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob.
Selah!

Lift up your heads, O gates!

And be lifted up, O ancient doors!

The King of glory may come in.

8 Who is this King of glory?

The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, mighty in battle!

9 Lift up your heads, O gates!
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is this King of glory?

The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory!
Selah!

All the Generations of Heaven. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow the Children of God Himself Worship. We could use imagination and say the top video is similar to the Generations of the Temple listening to David's Psalm, inhaling worship in the Temple of God built by David's supplies and Solomon's work. Continuing into our little town, home grown Churches with hand-woven Palm Sunday crosses.

1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion,
God of peace.
In all the churches of the saints

One of the Prime Principals of Jesus is Selah!
Joy!

We surely know Psalm 23, this is bedrock of comfort. We use Psalm 23 all the time. Weddings, High Holy Days and Funerals. God is putting His Kingdom in order. David fills this, yet God is really the Plan, Hope and Future putting all things in His order.

David is dwelling in his own soul in Psalm 23 - explaining God interweaves all things to goodness. David finishes Psalm 23 giving us his own footprints of goodness and mercy. Psalm 23 is Life and the Conditions of Life God provides. Not just in Heaven, in our gratitude and blessing seeking, goodness is found in the land of the living. A truly great reminder  - This life Jesus calls Joy in Holy Week of Easter.

Psalm 23 is looking at God providing for Life. Psalm 24 is the Magnificence of God Himself. Why God is able to provide. Looking from what God is able to provide to How Magnificent God Himself is. Rejoicing in Life! This Life is from God. This ability is living and moving in our lives. Reminding us the earth is created and made for God for His Purposes - our Hope and Future.

Psalm 23 is rock foundation comfort, Psalm 24 is the Wondrous God. Today. This Day.

Even in the Day of Jesus as Truth and Grace living with us as grace upon grace - we can find the Celestial Psalm 24 Honoring Our Father with Worship and becoming a Dance at a Wedding with the Joy of Blessed Life.

We find Jesus in His Glory in Palm Sunday. Welcome to God's Temple belonging to Jesus.

And really, we could look again and see Jesus being part of the Wedding in Cana. The Celebration of Jesus as Life continuing every day in the Gospels and - with seeing all of the fullness of the world  belonging to our Father God - finding Life celebrates God all around us.  When we remember Jesus finds Joy in Holy Week to give us Life - we find Life Celebrates Jesus and the water truly is the best of all the wine.

Jesus is a Celebrant of Life. Jesus believes all things work together for Good. Jesus believes Abraham is Father of Nations as he creates a life mess. And Abraham rises to the Plan of God.

Jesus believes the burned out 80 year old shepherd handling the flocks of his father-in-law is a Prince of Egypt and a Freedom Bringer to the His Own Children of Israel. And Moses rises to the Plan of God. Now this a faith worthy of hanging on to for our Living God, working with Jesus today.

Jude 1:5   Brother of Jesus Christ
Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord Jesus at one time delivered his people out of Egypt

Jesus looked at His own Brothers mocking Him and believed they would understand and Love.

1 Corinthians 9:5
Have we no authority to take about a believer as a wife, as also the other apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

Jesus found in Acts 1 and 2 His own Brothers Joined the Celebration of Life!

Jesus probably believes the Catholic Church might remember, again, God created Marriage even for the Faithful men of God taking Orders. The Plan of God is yesterday, today and Tomorrow. God's Church found places for women in the First Century as Deacons.

Abba,

We live and move and have our being because of Jesus. Live in us and help us to Celebrate Life each and every day. We ask Your Willing and Abundant Blessings.

God of Love, Father of Jesus Christ, cover us in Your Name - Jesus. Cover us and bless the ones we love with Jesus.

And in this outpouring of Love, cover our Nation Trusting in You.
Pour out a Blessing of Heaven upon earth
reaching the Nations in the Brightness of Jesus as Light of mankind.
Let Heaven in Jesus fill the Children of God speaking and praying in Love with You.

Jesus is God. Alleluia, Selah and Amen!!!

Luke 7:1-14 ~ Arise

Image result for scripture for today blogspot Capernaum time of Jesus
Capernaum

Luke 7:1-14

After he had finished all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum.

2 Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him. 3 When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, 5 for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.”

6 And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. 7 Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. 8 For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

9 When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” 10 And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well.

11 Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him. 12 As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her.

13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”

14 Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.”

Officially, this is still Mother's Day Week

I love this photo representing Jesus and His Mother. Placing them on Rock to speak with Father God. Mary sharply contrasts with the Capernaum centurion. Mary did in fact waffle. She ran in to bring Jesus home. Jesus rebuked her saying if we do the Will of God we are the Brothers and Sisters of Jesus Christ. When I am Home with Jesus, I hope Jesus can find times He found my faith as wonderful as the gentile soldier of Rome. Ten Talents Parable to the 12th square root or Pi.

Mary, and all of her nurturing of Her Son, is not forgotten. Jesus next voyages across the Valley of Jezreel - same voyage from Nazareth to Bethlehem Valley. Jesus then does as He does for Mary - He gives a Son. Jesus does as Mary, He has Love and Compassion.

Isaiah 53
4 Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows

Jesus found messy life everywhere. And with Love - Jesus found Joy and went forth. As did the Mother God gave Jesus.

Photography is an art. Take a camera and find God's Creation is Good. Enhance.

Scripture is not a photograph.Scripture is alive, well and working. Scripture shows us what is infirm. What is weak. And then - Love transcends.

Abba,

Thank You for Your Willing Blessings. We ask to be Blessed, Abba.

Bless the Children of God praying all over Your Good Creation for more of Heaven on earth. Your Good Will.

Luke 15:20
So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

The Blessing of being in Jesus Christ. Amen.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
