1 John 4:9 ~ God showed His love among us †

Papyrus 66

The First Epistle of John. The manuscript was found in 1952 at Jabal Abu Mana near Dishna, Egypt. The preservation level of P66 surprised scholars because the first 26 leaves were basically fully intact, and even the stitching of the binding remained. In the editio princeps, Martin originally dated P66 to around a.d. 200, saying it was very much like P. Oxy. 1074 (Exodus), a manuscript the editors said might well be placed at the beginning of the third century or even earlier.

Today, history scholars call the works of

Raphael and Michelangelo, "cartoons."
The Vatican maintains a steady 6 to 13 million visitors per year. Italy has 3,000 museums. The USA has 33,000 museums and cannot touch this record. Italy does not refer to their art as cartoons. Or treats this unfaithfully.

Hebrews has been known for 2,000 years as the companion of Timothy, none other than Paul. Salt Papyrus 124 and others are no longer displayed, although their message is apparent. As intact as the above Papyrus. I do not regard the current negative remarks on centuries and millenniums old papyrus, or 500-year-old religious art, Renaissance art, to be knowledge and say despite the INCREDIBLE DELUGE of ARTIFACTS SUPPORTING BIBLICAL HISTORY, we are dealing more with new agenda than new knowledge.

Blah, blah blah on "new agenda 'knowledge'". Display Salt Papyrus 124 and never say cartoons regarding works of Michelangelo and Raphael and others.

What possible argument is the new date on the Papyrus everywhere?
The Codex of the 2nd and 3rd Centuries. The Codex is not a new concept at all. The ancient manuscripts of historians and Roman Empire, as well as Sanhedrin papyrus (found in Scotland from the time of Jesus) is, and always has been, readily available. Not hidden papyrus within the last 500 years. The new debate is determining if the verb usage changed from Judea during a time period of even 50 years of Syria's suburb, Judea. It's a very improbable idea that 500 years later we can tell.

Historians do have areas of specialties, like which town in Italy during the Renaissance produced which lace according to the paintings. However, it hasn't flip-flopped like the Papyrus with incredible same changes as the artifacts lean to proving Biblical accuracy. The Louvre was siding with the ancient dates of many important, various Biblical items, until there was a massive retirement of the Head of the Louvre and, now, since the replacements of the retired Museum heads, we have the world experts calling Michelangelo's work 'Cartoons'. It smells of a baloney agenda. Sweeping the Biblical history Papyrus. And asks the question, if Salt Papyrus 124 is so unreliable in its pristine condition from 1200 B.C., why isn't it for sale for another museum to display, British Museum??? A G E N D A. Not facts. Agenda.  Narrative spin.  Not even the freedom of the people to see the works and have their own opinions. 2000 years of fact and then, voilà, a new interpretation. Bogus.

From the First Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. we knew biblical facts of the Papyrus. Today, all the facts are changing in year 2020 era. I find this 'knowledge' as if, as if, as if, we could determine better today what happened to President Lincoln, than the presbyters who were eyewitnesses. Ridiculous pandering to intellectualism, who could not "know". Be brave. Acknowledge new attitudes are filled with agenda.

1 John 4:9

This is how God showed His love among us:
He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.

Matthew 22:23-29

The same day Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection, and they asked him a question, 24 saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies having no children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.’ 25 Now there were seven brothers among us. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.
26 So too the second and third, down to the seventh.
27 After them all, the woman died.
28 In the resurrection, therefore, of the seven,
whose wife will she be? For they all had her.”

29 But Jesus answered them,
“You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures
nor the power of God.

Stay on the Path of God

Ephesians 4

11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry,
for building up the body of Christ

Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ

So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning,
by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ

From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint
with which it is equipped,
when each part is working properly,
makes the body grow so that it builds itself
up
in love.

Psalm 33:11

The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
The plans of His Heart to All Generations.

Stay on the Path

Isaiah 40:28

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.

Abba, our Father,

Flowing, filling, seeping in all areas of our heart and with all our soul
and with all our mind, for ourselves and the ones we Love.
Filling us.

For ourselves, the Nation and God's Good Creation -
Help us on Your Path, we ask Your help to stay on the Path.
We ask Your Love to know the daily steps.
And looking back on our lives, knowing we present our Soul to You.

The Blessings of Jesus healing us and holding us.

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Blessed in Jesus and His Name flow over our Nation and to the believers, today and tomorrow of the world.  To all of His Children all over His Good Creation.

Please give us Mercy!!!

Amen in Jesus.
Amen and Amen!

Psalm 78:40-72 ~ He shepherded them

Psalm 78:40-72

A maskil of Asaph

40 How often they rebelled against Him in the wilderness
and grieved Him in the desert!
41 They tested God again and again
and provoked the Holy One of Israel.
42 They did not remember His power
or the day when He redeemed them from the foe,
43 when He performed His signs in Egypt
and His marvels in the fields of Zoan.

44 He turned their rivers to blood,
so that they could not drink of their streams.

45 He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them,
    and frogs, which destroyed them.

46 He gave their crops to the destroying locust
and the fruit of their labor to the locust.

47 He destroyed their vines with hail
    and their sycamores with frost.
48 He gave over their cattle to the hail
    and their flocks to thunderbolts.
49 He let loose on them his burning anger,
    wrath, indignation, and distress,
    a company of destroying angels.

50 He made a path for his anger;
he did not spare them from death,
but gave their lives over to the plague.

51 He struck down every firstborn in Egypt,
the firstfruits of their strength in the tents of Ham.

52 Then he led out his people like sheep
and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

53 He led them in safety, so that they were not afraid,
but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

54 And He brought them to His holy land,
to the mountain which His right hand had won.
55 He drove out nations before them;
He apportioned them for a possession
and settled the tribes of Israel in their tents.

56 Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God
and did not keep his testimonies,
57 but turned away and acted treacherously like their fathers;
they twisted like a deceitful bow.
58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places;
they moved him to jealousy with their idols.

59 When God heard, he was full of wrath,
    and he utterly rejected Israel.

60 He forsook his dwelling at Shiloh,
the tent where he dwelt among mankind,
61 and delivered his power to captivity,
his glory to the hand of the foe.

62 He gave his people over to the sword
and vented his wrath on his heritage.

63 Fire devoured their young men,
and their young women had no marriage song.
64 Their priests fell by the sword,
and their widows made no lamentation.

65 Then the Lord awoke as from sleep,
like a strong man shouting because of wine.
66 And He put His adversaries to rout;
He put them to everlasting shame.

67 He rejected the tent of Joseph;
he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim,
68 but he chose the tribe of Judah,
    Mount Zion, which he loves.

69 He built his sanctuary like the high heavens,
like the earth, which he has founded forever.
70 He chose David his servant
    and took him from the sheepfolds;
71 from following the nursing ewes he brought him
    to shepherd Jacob his people,
    Israel his inheritance.
72 With upright heart he shepherded them
and guided them with his skillful hand.

David didn't just believe. David Believed he was part of God's Plan just like an extension of the Exodus.

This explains so much of David's Life. David never seemed to color in the lines of God's Plan. David didn't obey the strict Law. David was more like Louis XIV, David was the State. David intended to Shepherd God's People. And just like Jesus ate Grain on the Sabbath walking in the fields, David was doing the same as Jesus.

And now we see, very clearly, why David's heart appealed so strongly to God.

Abba, Father God,

Dwell in us. Dwell in those we Love.
Fill the Nation with Your Holy Spirit.
Nourish the world in Jesus Christ

Help us to Seek You First.

Help us to soak in God's Grace as the Disciples did by the Beautiful Sea of Galilee.
Bask in the Light, the Warmth of Jesus.

The Miracle of Jesus feeding us with His Word.
We want to be fed like the Multitudes fed by the Sea of Galilee.

Praying glad, peace my mother-in-law entered into Memory Care
and she is adapting well. Sleeping well and entering into activities the next day.
She had said the house was too large for her and knew the time had happened and
was correct.

The Healing of Jesus for Elliott and his family during this time.
May Jesus give our families His Mercy, Love and Peace.

We are part of the Goodness of Jesus.
We are all healed by Jesus.
Help us with Love to Defend our Father God with Joy and the ability to speak of His Love.

And in Jesus Christ the Body of Christ without constraint - all say  Jesus be King of all.
God of our souls. Our Shepherd Savior Jesus. Amen.

John 6:16-24 ~ take Him into the boat

Jesus of Nazareth; "Don't be afraid. I am with you every day to the end of time."

John 6:16-24

16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, 17 where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. 18 A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough.

Rough water behind Jesus
Both Photos have the Rough Water behind Jesus
Jesus is the Light of the world

19 When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened.

20 But He said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”

21 Then they were willing to take him into the boat,
and
immediately
the boat reached the shore where they were heading.

22 The next day the crowd that had stayed on the opposite shore of the lake realized that only one boat had been there, and that Jesus had not entered it with his disciples, but that they had gone away alone. 23 Then some boats from Tiberias landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

24 Once the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats and went to Capernaum in search of Jesus.

We are told as it is written:

John 9:4
"We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work."

John 11:10
It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.

We can learn about THE WORD OF GOD made manifest - Jesus our Lord - from what is written.

1. Psalm 139 tells us that nothing is dark to God. He is Light. He is not going to stumble because He is God.

2. I like this message the best - walking on water - at night - was not "work" to Jesus. This was Joy!

3. John 17 13
“I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them."

This point is wonderful. Jesus abides in God - His fruitfulness is Joy.

Can you see the disciples talking in that boat...

"Simon,  hoist up that sail."

"Ok, I DID, the wind is really picking up."

John says, "Did you see the way our Teacher fed five thousand people!" The men talk about the wonder of God. Matthew adds, "Well, it's clear we are going to have another Party for Jesus!" The men look at Matthew. "And this time - we let Jesus cater the Party!"

Thomas says, "I really admired Jesus today. He fed and healed so many. Jesus put His amazing hands into the bread and even the fish to provide. Jesus puts his Hands out and does whatever is needed for God's people."

The men are silent. It was another amazing day with God.

Thomas cries out, "What is THAT? What am I seeing?"

Then they began to discuss among themselves who was the greatest to see this, Jesus' disciples said,"Now speak clearly and without figures of speech!"

They then had a rapid discussion - how to pray.

James and John cry out, "What would stand like that - there? How is it placed there?"

Andrew cries for Peter to come and look. Andrew yells out, "I think this is the Messiah!"

They cry out together, "This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?"

Thomas said to his fellow disciples, "Let's go to Jesus that we may ... too, so that we may die with Him."

Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages to get someone to explain this if you were not here to see this yourself."

Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, "How far would this story go among so many?"

They all started talking at once and said to each other, "What must we do to do the works God requires?”

Today, we see when the Disciples see how fully Jesus is God, John 6 reports they were terrified.

And then we see the people want God to serve them and they show up immediately.

Jesus reveals hearts.

Abba, Father God,

Let me each day ask to let me be a good place for You to dwell
Help me to seek You First.
And pray for those I love to seek You First.

We are in Preparation.
Search my heart and mind, discerning the thoughts and intentions of my heart.
Help my heart of flesh - please You.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

We pray mercy of Jesus for my mother
and my mother-in-law and their families.

Fellowship.
How will we please Father God!
Pray and speak with God more
Add more Life into Joy of what God has Given.
Refrain from something pleasing to God.
Give to His Beloved and Good Creation.

God's Blessing on President Donald Trump on his birthday.

Your Healing on Elliott and his entire family during the process.

When we try to please You, Father God,
You are pleased.

We are given this life as a gift.
This earth is temporary.
Life Forever is Jesus gift to us for Eternity.

I will ask you to help me Trust in You with all my heart,
and not leaning on my understanding.
I will acknowledge Your Ways, and You will make straight our paths.

Keep my heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

Place your spirit within us, and in Your name, we will be pure in heart
and we shall see God.

We ask this for ourselves, our Loved Ones
and our Nation.
The Creation God calls good - the whole earth.
In the Highest Name of Jesus. Amen.

Ephesians 3:16-19
That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power
through His Spirit in your inner being,
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith
—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may have strength to comprehend
with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ
that surpasses knowledge,
that you may be filled
with all the fullness of God.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
