Galatians 5 ~ The Spirit

 

Galatians 5

For Freedom 

Christ has set us free; 

Stand firm therefore, 

and 

do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

2 Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you. 3 I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law. 4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. 

5 For through the Spirit, 

by faith, 

we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. 

6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision 

counts for anything, 

but only faith 

working through love.

7 You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? 

8 This persuasion is not from him who calls you. 9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is. 11 But if I, brothers, still preach circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? 

In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. 

12 I wish those who unsettle you would emasculate themselves!

13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 

14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: Love

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 

15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, 

and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 

17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, 

joy, 

peace, 

patience, 

kindness, 

goodness, 

faithfulness, 

 gentleness, 

self-control; 

against such things, there is no law. 

24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus 

have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live by the Spirit, 

let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 

26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, 

envying one another.

A few years back, we remembered children aren't poisoned at Halloween and the covers of magazines don't have to be wrapped in brown paper to avoid being offensive.

The Word of God seems to happen at the 500 year calendar mark. 

Circa 1500 A.D. The Black Plague ended serfdom and made reading a skill well known in all classes. Changing classes became easier due to need and necessity for all to contribute. England cottoned on, and new immigrants were supposed to pull the harder workloads in exchange for the hope for their children and prosperity. For the first time, Mass was read in the participants' language to understand the Word of God. The Printing Press made sure the Bible could be in your hand and understood in your own language.

We seem to have a control issue going on. When no one wants to give up hope of massive influence and control. Any which way to regain the ability, lies, manipulation. And this is absolutely without a winning merit.

It started with magazines. Magazines that were shrouded, were not desirable. Then we had the Age of Information. No one bought magazines. Then, when the Oscars came around, no one had been to the movie or wanted to hear shaming, posturing when the alternative was Netflix. For years, we had had programming shoving horror movies down us when the leaves turn colors. Now we have choices. In fact, so many choices, the major networks don't have the ratings and new media is being found. The New Media has gained in popularity so much, the old movie producers are being bought up with surprising sources. The changes are just beginning.

People want to live their lives in a morally based truth. 

The ground doesn't shift, and you know your own mind and deliberations. 

The future for your children is more secure. And if the truth has to be discovered and sought out - well there is a reason God has said to all the Generations since Abraham, Seek me and you will find me.

The news is being found on YouTube. New TV stations. Truth is not being withheld.

The way we have movies on demand, it's not a lot of horror. Until the last 4 years. The today generation is asking for cleaned up movies.  There is Action of blowing up and swinging on ropes and fists. History is incredibly in demand, and most people know the stories well enough not to have the evasions enjoyed. Vikings are a big draw. To understand plundering and need. Which would point to the Falcao Islands.  And a need for new laws regarding Dolphins.

Justice is actually the strong point these days, when Justice is beginning to show some normalcy.

In the New Age of Information, people have discovered an awful lot about delving for information. To believe otherwise is to stand in 1500 A.D. and demand everyone hand in books. Abraham Lincoln had a statement we all know about information and who can be fooled.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

The Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

Who comforts us in all our affliction

so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction

with the comfort 

with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance,

so also our comfort 

is abundant through Christ.

Dwell in me,

Dwell in us,

Dwell in those we Love,

Help us to seek You first.

And we will finish well, 

in Jesus Christ. 

Help us seek and find 

and bring,

to become,

 more Heaven

to this earth.

And the 2026 birth

of our

Matthew 7 ~ what You would have them do to you

 

Matthew 7

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.


3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 

4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 

5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.


7 “Ask and it will be given to you; 
seek and you will find; 
knock and the door will be opened to you. 
8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what You would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.


13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father Who is in Heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your Name and in Your Name drive out demons and in Your Name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’


24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 
25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 
26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”


28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because 
He taught as One who had Authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

Why did Jesus die? 

All questions have levels and give thought to different issues. Sometimes a mere question will tell you what the bearer has in mind.

How often do we ask with physical intent what killed Jesus?
One of the Mayo Clinic Doctors Examined What Killed Jesus  with 5 other physicians. Their website is very visited and highly graphic of the sacrifice Jesus went through for two days before He conquered death on the next three days.

The physical cause of death - the trauma - caused heart failure contributed to by the prophecy of Isaiah - the Government was upon His Shoulders creating suffocation of the placement of His arms and His Body weight. 

Proverbs 4:20

My son, give attention to My Words;

            Incline your ear to My Sayings.        

         21 Do not let them depart from your sight;

 Keep them in the midst of your heart.

 22 For they are life to those who find them

            And health to all their body.

23 Watch over your heart with all diligence,

For from it flow the springs of life.

 24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth

            And put devious speech far from you.

        Let your eyes look directly ahead

            And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you.

The way the people turned upon Jesus, killed Him - the emotional trauma. This is why water flowed for the spear at the end of His Life.  Jesus did give His Heart. Unguarded. And does today - for  you - His Beloved. Jesus knew and knows what is in the heart of mankind. And wants to save mankind. Seek Him diligently.


Matthew starts out by saying - Don't Judge. We all are Guilty.

Don't cast your pearls before swine. Isn't that judgement?
Watch out for false prophets.
What about what your children ask for?
Don't believe apparent goodness???

We discern every day - almost every second.

Judgement is final and unbending.

That solid, easy to understand instruction -
My Child, Jesus says, give attention to My Words -
Watch what your mouth says.

Are you that example of perfection?
Why do you allow dogs to have what is sacred - like the television blaring in your house and your radio.

Prayer comes first.

Put your salvation first. Let others do the same. 

Let your aspersions be handed to Father God first in prayer and kindness.

1 John 4:9

This is how God showed His Love 

among us: 

He sent His one and only Son into the world 

that we might live through Him.

1 John 4:10

This is love: not that we loved God, 

but that 

He loved us and sent his Son 

as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Revelation 1:5

And from Jesus Christ, 

Who is the faithful witness, 

The firstborn from the dead, 

and the ruler of the kings of the earth. 

To Him who loves us

 and 

has freed us from our sins by His Blood

1 Samuel 3:1-10,19-20

Now the boy Samuel was ministering to the Lord in the presence of Eli. And the Word of the Lord was rare in those days; there was no frequent vision.

2 At that time Eli, whose eyesight had begun to grow dim so that he could not see, was lying down in his own place. 3 The Lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the Temple of the Lord, where the Ark of God was.

4 Then the Lord called Samuel, and he said, “Here I am!” 5 and ran to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” But he said, “I did not call; lie down again.” So he went and lay down.

6 And the Lord called again, “Samuel!” and Samuel arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” But he said, “I did not call, my son; lie down again.” 7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the Word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.

8 And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” Then Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy. 

9 Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down, and if He calls you, you shall say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant hears.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

19 And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. 20 And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established as a prophet of the Lord. 21 And the Lord appeared again at Shiloh, for the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the Word of the Lord.

Psalm 143:8

Let me hear Your loving devotion in the morning, 

for I have put my trust in You. 

Teach me the way I should walk, 

for to You I lift up my soul.

Psalm 130:6

My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning

—more than watchmen wait for the morning.

Lamentations 3:22-23 

The steadfast Love of the Lord never ceases;

So far beyond what we see, beyond our ideas of time and space, physical body

and Spiritual Almighty.

The Power of God

is like the Sunlight

visiting us from above.

Our Father upholds the Universe

with the Power of His Word.

Our Father,

God the Almighty,

Creator of Heaven and earth,

Creator of all things. 

As we consider

Your Love

and 

Your Light,

Let Jesus be part of our existence

like Light

Light is required and generated as we are conceived.

In Your Light

we exist and have our being.

The warmth of Light

makes Life possible

in the vast

darkness, of a dark and cold universe

this small, small planet

reflects the Light of The Sun

or Son, Holy Son

And we

exist.

Light increases our abilities to wake

and go forth

to make our lives filled

with the deeds You would want.

Light tells

us

to Rest, as the Light rests.

Light causes renewal.

Light is joy, as Spring begins again.

All of mankind rejoices.

Light creates wellness

and mankind holds on to the Light.

Our Prayers 

travel to Heaven

like Light

continues for years.

We ask, Father,

The Light of 

Jesus Christ

to fill us daily

to do as You would Will and Want

to give us the Light

and fill us with

Your Steadfast Love.

We ask all healing of You, Father,

We ask Your Love and Warmth

would be our energy each day

and the Hope

and Faith

and Love

guiding us.

In the Name of Jesus 

fill us

surround us

embolden us

lead us

redeem us

and keep us forever.

Lord Jesus Christ

Only Son of God, our Father.

WE PRAY

helping the earth 

to heal.

The Lord Bless you
