Psalm 121 ~ From The Lord

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.

 Behold,
He who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all evil;
He will keep your life.

8 The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth
and
forevermore.

To our Father God.

Are we there yet?

No, we have miles to go before we sleep.

To whom shall we answer?

In 1875, British poet William Ernest Henley published the poem, called "Invictus" with these famous lines: "I am the master of my fate / I am the captain of my soul."

Master Whom?

The Shepherd and Guardian of our Souls.

1 Peter 2:24,25

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. 25 For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

Psalm 24:3-4

Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in His Holy Place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.

Psalm 32:1

Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.

Father God, I am blessed. You have saved me, You are the Lord. God. Almighty. You are my shield, my helper. You are my Glorious Sword. You do not sleep, You do not grow weary. You are the lifter of my head. I shall praise You all the days of my life and I will dwell in Your House forever. Blessed are You, Lord my God. My Abba. And Your Son, Jesus Christ. My redeemer. Amen.

Jeremiah 33:3 ~ I will answer you

Constantine commissioned his 80-year-old mother, Helena, to bring back archaeology of Jesus Christ.
In 326-328 A.D.

These stairs really are from the huge Governor's Palace.
These stairs would have seen Jesus climb the marble portion of the stairs. In Rome, today, these are called Scala Sancta. In the last 7 years, the Scala Santa was uncovered to replace the worn wooden parts, allowing the stairs to be climbed. This archaeological set of stairs is not in question. The huge building ruins were easily found.

Today, we have a perfect idea of Constantine's face.

Like the Magi, Constantine was given a sign in the sky.

In 312 AD, the Battle of the Milvian Bridge was miraculous.

Constantine I defeated rival Maxentius, leading to his complete control of the Western Roman Empire. And at the same time, the rise of Christianity.

Before the battle, Constantine saw a sign of cross of light in the sky. With the words "In Hoc Signo Vinces" meaning, "with this sign, you shall conquer." Following a subsequent dream, Jesus Christ commanded Constantine to use the symbol of the letters Chi and Ro, and then Constantine gave orders his soldiers to mark their shields with the Chi-Rho (☧) sign. Constantine’s forces were  victorious, and Maxentius drowned in the Tiber River. This historic battle was a monumental shift towards a Christian Roman Empire. Constantine's army is recorded to be vastly outnumbered by Maxentius. The difference was up to 100,000 soldiers, although accounts of the actual numbers differ, but  no historian disagrees Constantine looked to be horrendously outnumbered.

Emperor Constantine
struck this coin
as a Historic Momento
of the Milvian Bridge Battle

Do we know his mother, Helena, existed and was 80 years old on the high seas and traveling about Israel?  Yes. Constantine was so overcome when his mother passed on in 329 A.D., Constantine gave her his own tomb.  And we know Helena was in her 80s at her death. So well thought of, so many archaeological finds were brought to the Vatican.

Helene's remains were later moved to the Church of Santa Maria in Ara Coeli.

The Titulus Crucis, the title panel of the True Cross on which Jesus was crucified. In Latin, Greek and Hebrew, it says "Jesus the Nazarene King of the Jews."

Constantine is similar to the Virgin Birth huge question of the 1970s. Was this true? Was Constantine a Christian? We would have to find Constantine was a Christian. He spent his life advancing Jesus Christ in the Church Jesus said would happen in Rome. Constantine, in his final hours, called to have Christian priests with him and have last rites. Making sure he was properly prepared.

Zechariah 13:6

He will say, 'I am not a prophet; I am a tiller of the ground, for a man sold me as a slave in my youth.' 6" And one will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your arms?' Then he will say, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.'

Constantine had a remarkable aspect of his early life.

Something extremely similar to Peter.

As a young man, Constantine was a pawn of his uncle. Emperor Diocletian. And Diocletian was a ferocious hater of Christians. He ordered his nephew Constantine about, doing his bidding as he decided who would be his heir.  In fact, Eusebius, Bishop of Jerusalem, was a boy traveling near Nazareth and came upon a very famous Roman army marching to Nazareth.

Constantine was sent to Nazareth to torture all the living descendants, 300 years of nephews of Jesus Christ.  Torture them if bribery would not work, to say Jesus was a fake. A phony. An actor. The bribes did not work, and the torture began. Lasting for under 2 weeks. Constantine could not return to his uncle, Emperor Diocletian, with the rebuttal of Jesus as the Christ of God.

All of the descendants of nephews insisted Jesus was the Son of God.  The way, the truth and the life.  We know Constantine had never seen torture fail completely.

We can imagine how Constantine would continue to think of his time in Nazareth.

Jeremiah 33:3

"Call to Me
and
I will answer you
and
tell you
great and unsearchable things
you do not know."

Acts 2:38

And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit."

Genesis 15:1

After these things the Word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying,

Fear not, Abram:
I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.

So glorify God in your body.

1 Samuel 24:3-21 ~ This is the Day

1 Samuel 24:3-21

Saul took three thousand picked men from all Israel
and went in search of David and his men
in the direction of the wild goat crags.
When he came to the sheepfolds along the way, he found a cave,
which he entered to relieve himself.
David and his men were occupying the inmost recesses of the cave.

David's servants said to him,
"This is the day of which the LORD said to you,
'I will deliver your enemy into your grasp;
do with him as you see fit.'"
So David moved up and stealthily cut off an end of Saul's mantle.

Afterward, however, David regretted that he had cut off
an end of Saul's mantle.

He said to his men,
"The LORD forbid that I should do such a thing to my master,
the LORD's anointed, as to lay a hand on him,
for he is the LORD's anointed."
With these words David restrained his men
and would not permit them to attack Saul.

Saul then left the cave and went on his way.
David also stepped out of the cave, calling to Saul,
"My lord the king!"
When Saul looked back, David bowed to the ground in homage and asked Saul: "Why do you listen to those who say,
'David is trying to harm you'?
You see for yourself today that the LORD just now delivered you
into my grasp in the cave.
I had some thought of killing you, but I took pity on you instead.
I decided, 'I will not raise a hand against my lord,
for he is the LORD's anointed and a father to me.'

Look here at this end of your mantle which I hold.
Since I cut off an end of your mantle and did not kill you,
see and be convinced that I plan no harm and no rebellion.

I have done you no wrong,
though you are hunting me down to take my life.
The LORD will judge between me and you,
and the LORD will exact justice from you in my case.
I shall not touch you.

The old proverb says, 'From the wicked comes forth wickedness.'
So I will take no action against you.
Against whom are you on campaign, O king of Israel?
Whom are you pursuing? A dead dog, or a single flea!
The LORD will be the judge; he will decide between me and you.
May he see this, and take my part,
and grant me justice beyond your reach!"

When David finished saying these things to Saul, Saul answered,
"Is that your voice, my son David?"
And Saul wept aloud.

Saul then said to David: "You are in the right rather than I;
you have treated me generously, while I have done you harm.
Great is the generosity you showed me today,
when the LORD delivered me into your grasp
and you did not kill me.
For if a man meets his enemy, does he send him away unharmed?

May the LORD reward you generously for what you have done this day.

And now, I know that you shall surely be king
and that sovereignty over Israel shall come into your possession."

Karma. The Spiritual world. Is always part of our lives in God. The Cause and effect. CS Lewis would have called this, "The Old Magic."  And has been in diligent since the Lord God Almighty said,
"Let There Be LIGHT."

We prove the point from Genesis onward.

Genesis 15:1

After these things
The Word of the LORD
came unto Abram in a vision, saying,

"Fear not, Abram: I am thy Shield, and thy exceeding great Reward."

Karma. We always ask who recognized Jesus first. Let's go to a Higher Level.
Another Cave. People who return after a life after death experience frequently say the Kingdom of Heaven is right at hand. Close. The walls vanish and Heaven is here.

Who would sit next to Jesus, other than God The Almighty?  Mary saved Jesus Christ in Life many times. Saving Him to be born, saving Him to take all of them to Egypt. Knowing to bring Him back to the Nation of Israel.  Giving Him such a wonderful childhood, Gospels mention the close intimacy of Mary and Joseph and their family twice. During the hidden years, acknowledging Love and Joy.  Making sure they went back for Him after shockingly leaving Christ behind. Love over Judgment.  Kicking off the Ministry of Jesus.  Trying to save Him from the Plan of God. Dealing with infamy of being yelled about. Biblically. The Talmud recorded the gossip of the Sanhedrin regarding Mary.  Mary being admired to make sure Good Friday had family attending in her sister. And an Adoption.

Who deserves Good Karma?
Not just Mary, John, the Beloved Son by Adoption. On Good Friday.

Karma.
The big question, who recognized Jesus as Christ first? Andrew and John the Baptist.  The big question is, who was the first to see Jesus again after the Resurrection and Ascension. Who? John.

Psalm 56:2-3, 9-10, 11-13 ~ God I trust

Psalm 56:2-3, 9-10, 11-13

 In God I trust; I shall not fear.
Have mercy on me, O God, for men trample upon me;
all the day they press their attack against me.
My adversaries trample upon me all the day;
yes, many fight against me.

 In God I trust; I shall not fear.
My wanderings you have counted;
my tears are stored in your flask;
are they not recorded in your book?
Then do my enemies turn back,
when I call upon you.

In God I trust; I shall not fear.
Now I know that God is with me.
In God, in whose promise I glory,
in God I trust without fear;
what can flesh do against me?

In God I trust; I shall not fear.
I am bound, O God, by vows to You;
Your thank offerings I will fulfill.

For You have rescued me from death,
my feet, too, from stumbling;
that I may walk before God in the light of the living.

 In God I trust; I shall not fear.

Abba, Father!

And in Jesus - This Hope.
Faith and Love

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
