Matthew 9:18-26 ~ she will live

Matthew 9:18-26

While he was saying these things to them, behold, a ruler came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

19 And Jesus rose and followed him, with his disciples.

20 And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood
for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, 21 for she said to herself, “If I only touch his garment, I will be made well.”

22 Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.

23 And when Jesus came to the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion, 24 he said, “Go away, for the girl is not dead but sleeping.”

 And they laughed at him.

25 But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26 And the report of this went through all that district.

When you look and read the entire portion of Scripture.

What do you see.

Now, of these 9 points. Which one warms your heart?

For some people, this will be: Jesus is filled with God.

I love and adore that Jesus is personal. Working quietly. One person and Jesus.

Any of these is the correct answer - This is God speaking to you.

Abba, Our Father!

Your Word is Life! We ask Jesus to pray with us.

Father God, this is the season when the people we love have new circumstances. We pray for new schools and new seasons to have Your Love, guidance, protection, care and steadfast assurances. With more of Your Holy Spirit - we have more of Your Peace. Not boring peace, but the assurance we know You have as Father God of all.

We have an unrealistic prayer. Grasping at straws.

The Willingness of Jesus - so very willing.

Long time suffering - reaching out to Jesus

Faith rewarded for many long years.

"Take heart, your faith has made you well."

Jesus works quietly.

The crowd was rude to Jesus.

Jesus acted personally. His attention and intention was personal. Not to the crowd.

Jesus is  Filled with God.

May the Power, Glory and LOVE of God Himself.
Fill Your Heart. Amen in Jesus.

Luke 2:27 ~ Led by the Spirit

I have a wonderful feeling for the picture, our Step-grandfather did not have a beard, but he had white hair and baptized us. I was 8 years old when my brother was baptized as a baby.

Luke 2:27

Led by the Spirit, he went into the temple area. Meanwhile, Jesus' parents brought the child to the temple so that they could do what was customary under the Law.

We study the Bible a lot of times in huge swathes. Even the sentences, paragraphs, events and Chapters are arranged in God's order of thought.

John 21 -is telling us about the life of Jesus.

25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

The appearance of Simeon is not coincidental. Simeon fully understands he is called of the Spirit to attend to God's Son, the Messiah. This is a Scriptural insight to the Life of Jesus.

John 5
God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. 19So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does. 20The Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does."

The Holy Spirit being God is going to function regardless of mankind. And yet, this is God's Son and His chosen parents work in tandem. Jesus is brought to the Temple to please God. Simeon is arriving to please God. And the God's Story is made. His Story.

Matthew 4:4
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

Numbers 24

19 God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
20 Behold, I received a command to bless:
he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.

When we say The Law of God we usually refer to the 10 commandments. Jesus says the summation is Love.

Abba, Father,

We ask Jesus is with us just as the Holy Spirit was with Simeon. Mary and Joseph were surely not at peace and wanted to do all that was pleasing to God.

Jesus with them - made their lives. We pray this for our Loved Ones.

We place all of our cares, for ourselves, for my son's new State and Law School, health, national concerns, employment and this time together in Your Hands.

And in all states of fullness, need, joy, courage, concern, rest this with Father God.

Your Good Plans are our Hope and Future. Jesus bless us in the next few months to adapt well to Your Plans.

Jesus Risen Lord God. Amen.

Philippians 2 ~ The work of Christ - risking His Life

Philippians 2

1 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without grumbling or questioning, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. 17 Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18 Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.

19 I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be cheered by news of you. 20 For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare. 21 For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

22 But you know Timothy's proven worth, how as a son with a father he has served with me in the gospel. 23 I hope therefore to send him just as soon as I see how it will go with me, 24 and I trust in the Lord that shortly I myself will come also. 25 I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need, 26 for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill. 27 Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. 28 I am the more eager to send him, therefore, that you may rejoice at seeing him again, and that I may be less anxious. 29 So receive him in the Lord with all joy, and honor such men, 30 for he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to complete what was lacking in your service to me.

C.E. Christ Eternal. I was thinking about this today. How can we call this a common era? I suppose we could look at this as the New Covenant. Jesus died to extend God's blessings to all of mankind. We would hold this in common - to call upon Jesus Christ and hold Him in our heart would put Christ in all. I'd still prefer to say Christ Eternal!

The Roman Empire did agree time was counting down and then counting up. And the Birth of Jesus Christ was known to the Empire fairly soon upon the completion of Jesus' Victory over death - bringing us - today - a new Heaven and a new earth. We were listening to "History on Fire" podcast explained by history professor Daniele Bolelli. Professor Bolelli makes a valid point. We downgrade the current generation as being cold and self motivated. Cortez and his men had apologies made to them, for surviving a battle, by human sacrifice and blood of these men and boys sprinkled on their food. Millennials rarely do this. Cortez had battle apologies made by being handed young women as sex slaves. Millennials - not so much. One nations refused to speak to the next nation after the Princess Bride was sacrificed and as the wedding guests waited for their Princess to be married, the priest came in wearing her flayed skin. I believe when we say Christ Eternal - we miss some of the sheer magnificence of God's Goodness.

Christ Eternal would be a strong path to point in our lives - Christ Abiding - we say The Pentateuch is boring... This is what God was saving us from. Casual human sacrifice was not to occur for God's people.

We've had a hard weekend in our nation. Violence, murder, Little Rock (according to the newspaper I saw in Little Rock there was a city rally that had violence), Charlottesville, Chicago, Portland. The radio commentator said with the odd Presidential race and splintered 2 Parties of our Nation - we do not feel our voices are heard and we face unrest. This is well said.

God has seen this before. And He tells us about exactly this.

Philippians 2 says when we turn our self interest into the main focus of life - we have lost our way. Successful Psychologists and Churches realize sinking into our own interests fails to raise us up to see the Good of God. If we spend all of our time looking at our problems and never appreciate our blessings - griping about the Millennials and this present suffering seems insurmountable.

Pleasing the Vast God of the Vast Universe - not so difficult. When God tells us His salvation is Very Wide - we know to please God is to believe Him and to try with the small amount of ability our dust in the wind lives have to bless each other. God would take the dust we form, breathe on our efforts and these bones will live again. And at the end of the day as we find what Mercy God renewed in our lives - we can smile knowing Father God has been pleased with me - you - His Child. We tried.

Abba our Father,

You have Proclaimed in Jesus as we believe - we are Your Child. Increase the Holy Spirit in me. Increase the Holy Spirit in the ones I love. And we will anticipate the Joy and Strength of being those who Love You.

Agree to Pray and Do This

Abba, How will we see an end to this present suffering? Realizing times change, for the worse or better there is always change. When we extend our lives to help others - when we pray for the Holy Spirit to come into the ones we love. We will see Prayers answered.

When in Joy we put down our own problems to see what is Good. And celebrate this.

Father God, we recall the baker who remembered to help Joseph from days and days past. "Today I Remember" and will help. We remember Birmingham was called Bombingham. We remember the movie "Woodlawn" and the Billy Graham words that the Light of Jesus has overcome and will overcome. And Believe. Thanking You we are the Generation
who make the moves about "Woodlawn".

We pray for reminders to have patience, to hold our Joy. To hold our Truth. To snip off worry. To cut off the time that is past and Let us Celebrate God and His Will and Word for a Hope and a Future.

Thank You for Jesus, who loves and loves us and we find the Way forward.

Thank You God for My Blessings, Lord Jesus. Because of Your Great Mercy, Jesus Lord God. Amen and Amen in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Mark 10:13-16 ~ Bringing children to Him that He might touch them

Mark 10:13-16

13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them.

14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 16 And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

The Disciples were sure the children did not matter in the business of going forth They had their Job:

Luke 10
1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. 2 And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. 3 Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. 4 Carry no moneybag, no knapsack, no sandals, and greet no one on the road.

5 Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house!’ 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you. 7 And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.

8 Whenever you enter a town and they receive you,
eat what is set before you.
9 Heal the sick in it
and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

Simon the Zealot wanted a New Messiah for a New Israel. Judas the same. Really all of the Disciples wanted the Messiah to be King of Israel.

Acts 1
6So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

God tends to do things His own way and not ask for consultations.

The Disciples did not want the children getting Jesus' time because it wasn't establishing Jesus as Messiah King.

Mark's Gospel is the events of Jesus' life Peter was asked about time and again. Mark is telling us what the 1st Century AD looks at with Jesus being new to the people.

Matthew is telling us what a hardened work for cash man - lots of cash - and not a lot of respect saw being touched by Jesus.

Matthew 19

13 Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, 14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And he laid his hands on them and went away.

What did the Disciples think about Jesus wanting the children?

The Kingdom of Heaven? Children?

Isaiah 55 is explaining Jesus and Heaven and why the children loved and believed Jesus

1“Come, all you who are thirsty,
    come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
    come, buy and eat!

Come, buy wine and milk
    without money and without cost.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and you will delight in the richest of fare.

3 Give ear and come to me;
    listen, that you may live.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
my faithful love promised to David.

4 See, I have made him a witness to the peoples,
a ruler and commander of the peoples.
5 Surely you will summon nations you know not,
and nations you do not know will come running to you,
because of the Lord your God,
    the Holy One of Israel,
for he has endowed you with splendor.”

6 Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.

7 Let the wicked forsake their ways
    and the unrighteous their thoughts.

Let them turn to the Lord,
and he will have mercy on them,

and to our God,
for he will freely pardon.

8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.

9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 As the rain and the snow
    come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
    without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

12 You will go out in joy
    and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
    will clap their hands.

13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper,
and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the Lord’s renown,
    for an everlasting sign,
    that will endure forever.”

Luke the Physician who stayed with both Peter and Paul until the end, saw why the Lord enjoyed the Children.

Luke 18:17
Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please him,
for whoever would draw near to God
must believe that he exists
and that he rewards
those who seek him.

The Children freely love Jesus

Psalm 71:5-6
For you, O Lord, are my hope,
my trust, O Lord, from my youth.
Upon you I have leaned from before my birth;
you are he who took me from my mother's womb.
My praise is continually of you.

And this is why Jesus said the Children belong the Kingdom of Heaven "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God."

Mark 12:30-44

30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” 32 And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him. 33 And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

34 And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”

Jesus saw the pure belief in the Children and pure Love.

Abba Father,

We want to Love You and welcome all of Your Holy Spirit in us. And in those we Love.

You want mankind saved in Jesus. The harvest is plentiful.
and we want the people bringing hope and joy to bring in the Harvest  of Your Love and Kingdom closer to You

Just as Jesus prays with us and brought You, Abba, a new Heaven and a new earth.

Father, Your lambs are excited about Your goodness. Possibilities.

Your Lambs want peace. Contentment in what Life brings the sheep of Your Pasture, seeing the good.

Heal the sick. Listening to God and His Word daily. Looking and asking for Acts of our Abba we call miracles.

We lift to You the ones we love and our cares - health, meaning, opportunities to love and care.
Families working for Jesus and His love.
The people who have asked for prayer. The people You have given us.
We lift up our employment and opportunities.
We lift up our Nation in Jesus.
We Raise High the Church for Jesus Christ. Praying love and effectiveness.
We lift High the people of Christ all over the world encircling our world with prayer and Jesus.

And Thank You for our Blessings.
We ask for Your Word to build, comfort, go forth with all goodness as our Hope and Future.

Amen in Jesus.

Psalm 115 ~ He is our Help and our shield. The Lord has remembererd and He will Bless us.

Psalm 115

1 Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!

2 Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?"

3 Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
5 They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see.
6 They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell.
7 They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat.
8 Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them.

9 O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

11 You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

12 The LORD has remembered us;
he will bless us;
he will bless the house of Israel;
he will bless the house of Aaron;
13 he will bless those who fear the LORD,
both the small and the great.

14 May the LORD give you increase,
you and your children!
15 May you be blessed by the LORD,
who made heaven and earth!

16 The heavens are the LORD's heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.
17 The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence.

18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.
Praise the LORD!

In Judaism, Psalm 115 is kept intact and prayed as a prayer of praise and thanksgiving.

Interestingly verse 2 is found on the long Tachanun, falling on the face prayer, recited on Mondays and Thursdays.

Jesus Christ is King of the Jews yesterday, today and tomorrow. Does this agree with what Jesus told us in the Gospels? In the Lord's Prayer we ask God's will to be done perfectly on earth as in Heaven.

V 16 The heavens are the LORD's heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.

How does this relate to the delight we are told we are told in Genesis 1 and 2 and Proverbs 8?

Genesis 1

26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.

And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth
and over every every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

27So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them.

And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it,
and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

29And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth,
and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

31And God saw everything that he had made,
and behold, it was very good.

Psalm 24:1 1O
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it

When Father God tells us 11 (Disciples) times in Genesis 1 and 2 that He finds His Creation Good, what are we to think that creation is just turned over to man? Jesus and Father God want to save the world in Christ Jesus. Just as we are given children to help to mature, God has given us His vast creation.

The Prodigal Son was not turned loose without - - - faith and prayer and love. Just as we are planned according to Psalm 139 before our birth - God has made plans for us to grow and mature and come Home.

Father God made His Covenant with us as the People of Jesus Christ and the New Testament.

2 Corinthians 6:16
For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."

And in the New Covenant, Father God gives us this earth.

What does God value in this equation?

Exodus 25:8
"Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them."

Ezekiel 37:27
"My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people."

Now the earth belongs to mankind and what does God say about us His Beloved?

1 Corinthians 6
18 Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a man can commit is outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God?

You are not your own!

God said
1. It is Good.
2. It is Good.
3. It is Good.
4. It is Good.
5. It is Good.
6. It is Good.
7. It is Good.
8. It is Good.
9. It is Good.
10. It is Good.
11. It is Good.

And with more importance - Father God gives His only and Wonderful Son Jesus - to us.
Unto us a Child is Born.
A Son is Given.

And 26 times His Steadfast Love Endures Forever. Psalm 136

Clearly we see:

We are chosen. Special. Important. And His Salvation is a Free Gift.

The question we began this post was, "Is the earth important to God?"

The answer is, "You are more precious to Him. Bought with Jesus - His Only Son. Jesus. Our God. Our Wonderful Jesus."

Father God chose Mary carefully. Joseph carefully chosen for God's Only Son.

All of the effort. All of the worry. All of the discomfort. All of the fear. All of the shame. All of the pain. All of the Love.

God tells us He would tenderly gather us as a mother hen. You are this loved to father God. Known to God as you are.

1 Corinthians 6
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body

2 Timothy 4:5 ~ do the work

Romans 11:34 34
"Who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has been his counselor?"

2 Timothy 4:5

As for you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

John 6:29
Jesus replied, "This is the work of God: to believe in the One He has sent."

1 John 3:23
And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.

Work...

Abraham, obeyed God and went, his wife Sarah laughed. Abraham's support seemed minimal. Abraham went even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents. Abraham believed God.

Barren people would fill the world with their family.

Sarah was left by her husband in a king's harem. She considered their ages - as good as dead. And in His Plan, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

Joseph was enslaved and falsely imprisoned. Joseph, became Vizier to one of the most powerful men on the planet. As Joseph was about to die, he spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.

A foreigner believing in a foreign God would rise from prison to create a Nation.

Moses lost all of the world's opportunities and his family, everything and spent decades and decades and decades and decades and decades just tending flocks in the desert. Living in tents. Moses persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

A murderer on the run would help the Children of God.

Numbers 1:20-46
All the Israelites, aged twenty years and over, enrolled by ancestral houses, all those in Israel who were able to bear arms—all who were enrolled came to 603,550.

God daily gave them water and food. Their clothes and shoes did not wear out. The children born - lived.

Rahab was a prostitute. Surely she would never be called upon to help the people of God. And in doing so, saved her family.

Rahab told the spies (Joshua 2:9-13):
I know that the LORD has given this land to you and that a great fear of you has fallen on us, so that all who live in this country are melting in fear because of you. We have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed. When we heard of it, our hearts melted and everyone's courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below. Now then, please swear to me by the LORD that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and that you will save us from death.

Gideon was told the impossible. The utterly impossible and saved a Kingdom. Gideon was considered the weakest of all the clans.

Samuel led the People of Israel and sadly anointed a king. And then God asked Samuel to put away his life's work for Israel and to anoint another king - effectively creating civil war. Samuel then did this. God's Plan did not create Civil War and advanced Israel beyond Samuel's ideas.

David was an anointed child who believed he could fight a giant, when the army would not. David was merely a child.

Jeremiah told the people of Judah the Babylonian Exile would last 75 years and this did.
Jeremiah was imprisoned until Nebuchadnezzar let him out of the prison.
538 BC Decree of Cyrus allows Jews to return to Jerusalem
520–515 BC
Return by many Jews to Yehud under Zerubbabel and Joshua the High Priest. Rebuild the Second Temple with the original Temple Tools of gold of Solomon and Moses. The Nation would rise from the dead.

Joseph was told the impossible of his fiancé. Joseph gave mercy and administered justice.

Mary was told the impossible and accepted God's Plans. Rejoicing. She had to flee to another town and from her family. Mary gained what was promised.

The Widow of Nain was ruined. Until Jesus came to the funeral. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Mary and Martha had this happen. It was not possible. And Jesus displays all things are possible with God.

At the time of Jesus' death, prophets come to life and walk telling of Jesus. 500 people are recorded being taught by Jesus after His Victory over Death.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
