Romans 15:4-13 ~ Everything

Romans 15:4-13

4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,
so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. 8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed 9 and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written:

“Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
I will sing the praises of your name.”

10 Again, it says,
“Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”

11 And again,
“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
let all the peoples extol him.”

12 And again, Isaiah says,
“The Root of Jesse will spring up,
one who will arise to rule over the nations;
in him the Gentiles will hope.”

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Abba. Father God,

Thank you for gathering together new and old friends. When we forgive each other, we broaden our horizons. When we gather together to know each other's cares and put the effort into fellowship - we enrich all the lives we touch. Thank You for the opportunity to fellowship with others who love You.

Father God, James wrote whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. And You told us the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. You, Father God, You are the Lord and our king - save us. In Your leadership and guidance, let the grace and truth through Jesus Christ keep us.

Thank You for the blessings, to sit in sunshine, warming us. To know in this season of change we have You, Lord. To know You, Father God, will strengthen us in all good things to do His will. We Thank You we are touched by Love

Bless us with all the blessings You would willingly provide and opportunities to do Your Will.

Comfort the lonely, calm the stressed, give hope to those who need that hope, strengthen what is wobbly, empower the good, subdue what is doubtful, light the path and help us to walk this with Your Love and Wisdom.

With joy and expectation, we call on You, Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Come Lord Jesus. Because of You and Your Promises - We Will Overflow with Hope.

Lifting up Elliott and his family for healing and Dee continuing to heal. For us all.

In Jesus Christ Amen.

Psalm 100 ~ Know Gladness Singing

The Wisdom of a Third Grade Dropout Will Change Your Life | Rick Rigsby

Psalm 100

A Psalm for giving thanks.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

David had humble beginnings. David Son of Jesse.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

This boy was healed from a disease causing blindness and sings his Thanks.

3 Know that the Lord, he is God!

It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

1 Samuel 22
David departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And when his brothers and all his father's house heard it, they went down there to him. 2 Everyone in distress

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving,

and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

The Palace of David

5 For the Lord is good;

his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

We can all find someone in the video who reminds us of our inner style.

David would have never survived the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune without being assured his foundation was God and God was completely for David. Grace upon Grace.

Abba,

To live a life of faith, to find You in Your Good Creation. Seeing Your Living Word at work in our day.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Psalm 121:8
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

2 Timothy 2:15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Numbers 6:24-26
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

James 1:12
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Abba, we will lift up every care, prayer and concern to You. And be Lifted. Help us to see, bring and become more of Your Good Will and Kingdom done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Filling our lives shaking off what is temporary and being nourished in You. Jesus told us He is Blessed to see Your Master workmanship. You are the Willing and Good Father giving Your gifts, talents and fruit to Your Children. Jesus is Delighted to Heal, Raise, Help, Guide, Teach and sit with His Beloved. You are our Willing God.

Blessing the people we pray for to end cancer and heal strong backs and bones. Putting Your Spirit in our families.

Covering in Jesus our days. Covering in Jesus our Loved Ones. Covering in Jesus our neighborhood, communities, Churches and State. Blessing our Nation in Jesus a praying and believing Nation trusting in You. Blessing the Nations seeking Jesus and Your Will.

Alleluia and Joy is found in Jesus. Amen.

2 Corinthians 9:6-15 ~ Thanksgiving to God

2 Corinthians 9:6-15

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written,

“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”

10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

Today I watched a man with a terminal diagnosis comfort another. And in his cheerful giving, both people were strengthened. When we give, we discover new boundaries within us.

What Jesus has done...

Father God,
All glory, honor and comfort are Your's. We give Thanks for Jesus Christ. The unknown, unseen Kingdom He has prepared for us. Your Kingdom we glimpse.

John 14

14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.”

We know the Way of God. Steadfast Love, Joy, Peace, Encouragement, Forbearance, Mercy, Faith and Hope. This is what we ask Jesus to cover us for in His Name and dwell there

With those we love we pray Jesus in health, healing, Joy, Love and Peace. More of Your Good Will on earth as it is in Heaven.

 Amen.

John 1 ~ Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.

9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.

 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.

We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”)

16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

19 Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. 20 He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, “I am not the Messiah.” 21 They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No.”

22 Finally they said, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”

23 John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’”

24 Now the Pharisees who had been sent 25 questioned him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” 26 “I baptize with water,” John replied, “but among you stands one you do not know. 27 He is the one who comes after me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.” 28 This all happened at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”

32 Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. 33 And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”

35 The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. 36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!”

37 When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. 38 Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?”

They said, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where are you staying?”

39 “Come,” he replied, “and you will see.”

So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.40 Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus.

41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus.

Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter).

43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.”

44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. 45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

46 “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked.

“Come and see,” said Philip.

47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”

48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.

Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”

49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”

50 Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” 51 He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.”

Before Abraham Jesus Is

Proverbs 8
I was there when he set the heavens in place,
when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
28 when he established the clouds above
and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
29 when he gave the sea its boundary
so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
30 Then I was constantly at his side.
I was filled with delight day after day,
rejoicing always in his presence,
31 rejoicing in his whole world
and delighting in mankind.

Deuteronomy 28

"The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. 12"The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13"The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully,

Isaiah 45

I am the Lord, and there is no other;
apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
though you have not acknowledged me,
6 so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting
people may know there is none besides me.
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
7 I form the light and create darkness,
I bring prosperity and create disaster;
I, the Lord, do all these things.

8 “You heavens above, rain down my righteousness;
let the clouds shower it down.
Let the earth open wide,
let salvation spring up,
let righteousness flourish with it;
I, the Lord, have created it.

Mark 1:10

Immediately coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opening, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Isaiah 60

“Rise up and shine, for your light has come. The shining-greatness of the Lord has risen upon you. 2 For see, darkness will cover the earth. Much darkness will cover the people. But the Lord will rise upon you, and His shining-greatness will be seen upon you.

Nations will come to your light. And kings will see the shining-greatness of the Lord on you.

“Lift up your eyes and look around you, and see. They all gather together. They come to you. Your sons will come from far away, and your daughters will be carried in the arms.

Then you will see and shine with joy. Your heart will be glad and full of joy, because the riches of the sea will be turned to you. And the riches of the nations will come to you.

Abba,
Praise be to you, Lord,
the God of our father Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is Yours.

Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from You;
You are the ruler of all things.

Your Willing Blessings are deep as the Oceans, High as the Heavens.
In Your Hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise Your glorious name.

Jesus the Lord cover all illness with mercy and healing. Cover those we Love in Jesus Christ. Jesus the Exact Nature of You, His Father. Jesus covers Your Good Creation. You are God of All.

 In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Luke 11:8 ~ as much as he needs

Just at the top of the hill, at exit 178, South east corner, on Interstate 45 in Buffalo, Texas is a Very Large Angel and has been seen for many, many decades. Buffalo, Texas is a good candidate for the much discussed 'Heart of Texas'. This is just about exactly between the two largest cities of Dallas and Houston.

A long time resident of Buffalo told me this miracle is well known. The homeowner was a man in his early 70's. He was a Veteran and had cancer. The cancer had been fought as the good fight for a number of years. The finality of life was drawing in. The man told his friends in Church and the community he'd had a long, good life and a loving wife, this was ok. All of his family was very grieved, it was now the final week, or, at best, final two weeks. His old, frail body had worn out.

On a Tuesday night, the man turned in to sleep and wondered if this was 'the night'. And had a very vivid, vivid Dream. An Extremely Large and Powerful Angel appeared. "Fear Not!" The Angel told this frail and dying man. The prayers of his wife, family, Church, friends and Community had touched God's Heart. The Lord God's Plan was to bring Home this beloved man and God's Plan was, the Angel assured the man, A Good Plan. And then the Heart of God responded to the Love given for this man in prayers. The Angel said that as of this moment - all cancer has left your body and you will live for decades to being remarkable of age. A long, good life continued. The Angel assured him his life would be tremendous and unto Heaven.

The next morning, the frail man ate breakfast and told his astonished wife. She asked him if he felt better. He thought about it some more. Maybe. The man decided to visit his large yard with big shade trees and spend some time outside thinking about this. The morning was cool with a breeze and he noticed many sticks fallen from the trees. He wondered why the mower didn't get the sticks picked up. In fact, there were a lot of sticks. The man gathered the sticks, only a few. And as he gathered the sticks, he felt enough energy to enjoy the breeze and pick up more sticks. And more. At lunch his wife was amazed he had done this. He ate without being urged. And took a nap.

That evening, his wife asked him if there was something to the Dream. He wasn't entirely sure, but the day had been Good. The sun was coming from the trees, the breeze was good.

And the next few days repeated this Good Day. And another Good Day. And another. In fact, the week was Good.

The next week, the man had a repeat appointment with his doctor. The doctor heard the Dream from the man and his wife. The doctor heard about the Good Week. Blood tests were run. Not surprisingly, the man was found, in the next few weeks, to be without cancer. And the man and his wife tried to decide what to do to tell the Miracle. After a lot of thought, they decided to go with the exact representation God had Sent.

The man did live to be Very Old.

John 3:8

The wind blows where it wishes,
and you hear its sound,
you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.
So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

"Those Prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling."

"We can pray, sure, but God will decide." (Are you frowning or smiling?)

"God will do what God will do." (Ditto!!!)

The Book of Life would know. (Right!!!)

What would Jesus say to us having trepidation to pray the Large Prayers? When we feel the Large Prayers are Critical and wobbly?

Luke 11:8

I tell you, even though he will not get up to provide for him because of his friendship,
yet because of the man's persistence,
he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

There is an Amazing Word from God saying the 12 Gates of Heaven are always open.

And yet God has given us something Astonishing. We could call this The Nag Policy or we could call this The Complaint Policy.

God Himself tells us He will move and dwell and Have His Being with us. How familiar is this?

Hebrews 3:6
Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house.
And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.

Aaron was invited in to the Holy of Holies. God knew Aaron was coming in to spread the sacrifice of Blood. And make a mess. This is a strong visual. God has said His Words - "Friend", "Boldly and with Confidence". Telling us to Pray with Hope. Let's never, never, never, never, never, never Forget - "Fear Not." And let's never, never, never, never, never forget "Yar." Yar the Reverence of God. The Awe of His Being. The Beauty of God's Sacrifice. The Enduring Strength of His Love.

We will NOT be impertinent to The Shepherd of Our Souls. God has given a fine example in Zechariah, Luke 1. We will take hold of God's Sanctuary with relief and love.

Abba, Father,

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

O LORD, You have searched Hearts and know Hearts.

We Pray The Word of the Lord powerfully continued to spread and prevail.

In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
