Psalm 34 ~ of His

Psalm 34

 I will bless the Lord at all times;

Hhis praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord;

let the humble hear and be glad.

3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,

and let us exalt His Name together!

4 I sought the Lord, and He answered me

and delivered me from all my fears.

5 Those who look to Him are radiant,

and their faces shall never be ashamed.

6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him

and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the Lord encamps

around those who fear Him, and delivers them.

8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!

Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints,

for those who fear him have no lack!

10 The young lions suffer want and hunger;

but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

11 Come, O children, listen to me;

I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 What man is there who desires life

and loves many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep your tongue from evil

and your lips from speaking deceit.

14 Turn away from evil and do good;

seek peace and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous

and His ears toward their cry.

16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,

to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears

and delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted

and saves the crushed in spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,

but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

20 He keeps all his bones;

not one of them is broken.

21 Affliction will slay the wicked,

and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

22 The Lord redeems the life of His servants;

none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

Lord God Almighty,

We have
the Opportunity

to 
Vote

REJOICE!

Psalm 37 ~ The steps of a man are established

Psalm 37

 

Of David.

Fret not yourself because of evildoers;

    be not envious of wrongdoers!

2 For they will soon fade like the grass

    and wither like the green herb.

3 Trust in the Lord, and do good;

    dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.

Delight yourself in the Lord,

    and 

He will 

give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the Lord;

    trust in Him, and

 He will 

act.

6 He will 

bring forth your righteousness as the light,

    and 

your justice as the noonday.

7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him;

    fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,

    over the man who carries out evil devices!

8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!

    Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.

9 For the evildoers shall be cut off,

    but 

those who wait for the Lord 

shall inherit the land.

10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more;

    though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.

11 But the meek shall inherit the land

    and 

delight themselves 

in abundant peace.

12 The wicked plots against the righteous

    and gnashes his teeth at him,

13 but 

The Lord laughs at the wicked,

    for He sees that his day is coming.

14 The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows

    to bring down the poor and needy,

    to slay those whose way is upright;

15 their sword 

shall enter their own heart,

    and their bows shall be broken.

16 Better is the little that the righteous has

    than the abundance of many wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,

    but The Lord 

upholds the righteous.

18 The Lord knows the days of the blameless,

    and 

their heritage will remain forever;

19 they are not put to shame in evil times;

    in the days of famine they have abundance.

20 But the wicked will perish;

    the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures;

    they vanish—like smoke they vanish away.

21 The wicked borrows but does not pay back,

    but the righteous is generous and gives;

22 for those blessed by the Lord 

shall inherit the land,

    but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

23 The steps of a man are established by the Lord,

    when he delights in His Way;

24 though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,

    for The Lord 

upholds his hand.

25 I have been young, and now am old,

    yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken

    or his children begging for bread.

26 He is ever lending generously,

    and 

His children become a blessing.

27 Turn away from evil and do good;

    so shall you dwell forever.

28 For the Lord loves justice;

    He will not forsake his saints.

They are preserved forever,

    but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

29 The righteous shall inherit the land

    and 

dwell upon it forever.

30 The mouth of the righteous 

utters wisdom,

    and 

his tongue speaks justice.

31 The Law of his God is in his heart;

    his steps do not slip.

32 The wicked watches for the righteous

    and seeks to put him to death.

33 The Lord will not abandon him to his power

    or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial.

34 Wait for the Lord and keep His Way,

    and 

He will exalt you to inherit the land;

    you will look on when the wicked are cut off.

35 I have seen a wicked, ruthless man,

    spreading himself like a green laurel tree.

36 But he passed away, and behold, he was no more;

    though I sought him, he could not be found.

37 Mark the blameless 

and behold the upright,

    for there is a future for the man of peace.

38 But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed;

    the future of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 The salvation of the righteous 

is 

from the Lord

    He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.

40 The Lord helps them and delivers them;

    He delivers them from the wicked 

and 

saves them,

    because they take refuge 

in Him.

David went from green fields 

watching the sheep

To working for Saul

then living in a ditch

called Ziklag

as

a

Mercenary

with Thugs.

And the people with

David

are the ones

who 

are part of today.

David's life is so

dire

he has people

who can stand with him that day.

And then named King 4 times and coronated

after the people tried to make Saul's illegitimate children king.

David could teach us soundly and solidly about Worry. Things were Never Ever going to work out like God said. And then... God knew what He was talking about.

Then David was good and tired of being hardworking and let things slip as a King. Trouble found him for suiting himself.  And David worried so diligently, the General of his armies arrived to tell David he was simply a fool.  And then berate him over mourning his own son after civil war. Usually, David bounced back.

David bounced back when Nathan called him a precious lamb of God murderer.  Even being so glad for the correction that the Luke 3 genealogy of Mary shows she was a descendant of David from the uncrowned portions of his lineage. That David named his son Nathan for the one who boldly corrected him. 

David had to bounce

David was a sure fire Worrier

Who took the time of worries to Trust God and be bold for Righteousness. 

David was excellent for seeing Light as Light

and Darkness (within David) truthfully as Darkness. 

God Himself says, David is obedient to My Word. 

There isn't a moment when David is really very one dimensional and easy breezy. David literally was living in dark places and not where he hoped life would go. And as David adapted to the gore of life during coping. David was not nifty. David was gritty, edgy and complicated.  He failed at Fatherhood.  And caused willy nilly civil war.

But David was not a Liar. He stood up for the Truth. We could have never applied the word Weasel or greasy with the truth to David. 

David believes God and Heaven are right with him. David never thinks he could walk on water. But David assures us, God forgives and blesses in the forgiveness. But not from being less than bluntly truthful.

David well knows God is playing a Very Long Game with a Determined Plan.

The Most Touching portion of David is Nathan and his willingness to name his child Nathan. The next portion of David as astounding, the understanding of God's Profound Blessing. The Eternity of the Blessing.  David can hardly fathom God really loves the war, bloody, failing, but trying David.  And when God tells David, yes, but you can't really build the Temple, David is more than willing to make all the portions of the Temple in neat order for his son to assemble. 

In this we see an echo of Constantine. 

The Depths of God go farther than we will know in this Life. Heaven when John describes this, sounds a little like a Rock Concert.  The Throne is dramatic with darkness, incredible singing and peals of Thunder. God goes much further than we shall fully comprehend. 

Julius Caesar believed so strongly he was a descendent of Genesis 6. Child of Venus. High Priest of Jupiter. We won't know if God was speaking of those of another planet, but it would be out of God's Character to allow what is in His Realm to pollute the Children of God.  Once again, in Genesis 6, we find God is in His Heaven, and all is right with His Plan. Julius Caesar believed, Throw the Dice. Take the chance. God will protect you.

Reminders that no matter how

Life takes you,

The Journey is with God.

Even when you wandered.

No has lived through this amount of upheaval and feels like Ned Flanders. We all feel pressed.

27 Turn away from evil and do good;

    so shall you dwell forever.

28 For the Lord loves justice;

If we are going forward

we are

finding Gratitude.

Life is similar to the

Stock Market

One day roses

the next day

not

The Life of David

is

Endurance

with

Faith.

David believes in God

and

Hope.

Hope is

a Requirement.

What you do matters. 

Keep Trying.

Lord God Almighty,

Psalm 91 ~ I Will

 

Psalm 91

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

    will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,

    my God, in 

Whom I trust.”

3 For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler

    and 

from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with His pinions,

    and 

under His wings you will find refuge;

    His faithfulness is a shield and buckler.

5 You will not fear the terror of the night,

    nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,

    nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

    ten thousand at your right hand,

    but it will not come near you.

8 You will only look with your eyes

    and see the recompense of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord your Dwelling place—

    the Most High, Who is my refuge—

10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,

    no plague come near your tent.

11 For He will command His angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways.

12 On their hands they will bear you up,

    lest you strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the adder;

    the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.

14 “Because he holds fast to Me in love, I will deliver him;

    I will protect him, because he knows My Name.

15 When he calls to Me, I will answer him;

    I will be with him in trouble;

    I will rescue him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him

    and show him 

My salvation.”

Yes, Google Trends and search data 

DO reflect high levels of political stress and anxiety-related queries.

I've been writing this Blog since 2007. 

And in these almost 20 years, I've heard from Google maybe 12 times. In the last 2 days I have received a Google notice (all Bloggers on Google probably) that one should not display child porn, false witness, hate speech. Okie Dokie. Then today, I received a notice that was addressed to the blog saying 11 videos will be removed because they don't play. Ok. But the photos do show the videos do play, the message showed. A defunct video shows a blank screen not a photo as shown in the notice.  Well, hmm. If the videos aren't working that's fine. 

    Open Letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai

       Hello fellow Sundar!

       My Wilson family out of Bolivar County, MS, always called me Sunday.

       The notice about infrastructure in Google Blogger said 11 of the videos on this             blog would be deleted. However, the photos of the videos showed a working                 video. 

        A video that no longer plays, and many do become defunct as time passes show          a blank or navy or black color only screen.  Sometimes people who work get                stressed and act alone. Please check.

Heaven is the goal. And Heaven requires a heart of honesty and faith.  My views are Biblical. My speech does not incite any violence nor break the law. The Law is Freedom of Speech and Pursuit of Happiness.

When Washington wanted us to be a Free Nation, there were many days Washington wondered if he would end up on a noose. He did not. 

And so today we are reading, picked before I know the verse, Psalm 91

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

    will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

We all face stress. 

I got a call from my Mississippi cousin Bob Wilson one day. 

Probably about 2004. He had sent me Quinine. And wanted to tell me part of the history of Quinine.

• "Targeted Access: Quinine was initially restricted to the British military, civil servants, and plantation workers to protect the colonial workforce rather than the general Indian population. • Mass Distribution Systems: By the late 19th century (1890–1910), the colonial state expanded distribution through the "pice-packet" system, post offices, and enforced "quinine parades" in schools and prisons."

Bob by career did not chose to be a historian, rather a trial lawyer. And the Quinine was a test. The portion we always have talked about over family dinners is: Quinine became popular to add into gin. TONIC! The Tonic to Malaria quite a few of the last generation found living in MS gave them Malaria. 

Tonic water is a carbonated soft drink flavored with quinine, a bitter compound originally extracted from the bark of the South American cinchona tree. So Malaria gave us Tonic Water.

Bob pointed out and the Law and Lawyers gave us the ability to spread Quinine instead of hoard it during plague. 

Bob wanted to know if I had done well with the test. Taking the Quinine for 4 days. I said I felt a little sick. Turns out then, I wasn't going to survive the plague coming.

WHAT?  

Yes, the MS Wilsons had decided the plague (in 2004) was coming back and if you couldn't take quinine - you were a goner.  And this is sorta correct. Actually. Because Quinine clears the liver. Disease is cleansed.

The Point Being:

We have all had our proverbial Lava Lamps Very Shaken and Society is just now in Recovery. Rude. Upset. Continual Stress. 

And as an Attorney, 

Bob was pointing out, The Law makes the Path Straight. 

And the Law, if honored, will help out the Populace. Everyone.

"For God is not a God of confusion 

but of peace. 

As in all the Churches of the saints."

I will 

say to the Lord, 

“My refuge and my fortress,

    my God, 

in Whom I trust.”

When we encourage EVERYONE TO VOTE

we are saying,

I TRUST YOU TO VOTE
