Romans 3
Prophecy and what is Prophetic? Scripture repeats the same event or same teaching - and this explains Prophecy. Prophetic gifts are to encourage Believers, The Church as the Body of Christ - to fulfill His Plans for our gifts and talents He readily encourages us as our Father God. Saying in Glory ~ Jesus will return. He Lives! Hope in Jesus!
What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? 2 Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been
entrusted with
the very words of God.
John 6:68
Simon Peter answered Jesus, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life"
3 What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? 4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar.
As it is written:
“So that you may be proved right when you speak
and prevail when you judge.”
Hebrews 13:20-21
Jesus our Lord, equip you
in every good thing to do His will,
working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
5 But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.) 6 Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? 7 Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” 8 Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!
9 What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.
10 As it is written:
“There is no one righteous, not even one!"
11 there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.”
13 “Their throats are open graves;
their tongues practice deceit.”
“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”
14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 ruin and misery mark their ways,
17 and the way of peace they do not know.”
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law,
so that every mouth may be silenced
and the whole world held accountable to God.
Philippians 2:10-11:
So that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW,
of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
We will all go to the Father. We will not all - stay. The Grace of God is working out our "personal" salvation with fear of the Power of God and Scripture. God's Love assures us fear is just the beginning of wisdom in relationship of God's Steadfast and Amazing Love.
20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight
by the works of the law; rather,
through the law we become conscious of our sin.
Luke 18
11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’
13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 and all are justified
freely by his grace
through the redemption
that came by Christ Jesus.
Romans 10:8-11
What does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
+ We forget the first requirement of Romans 10 telling us of Salvation. God says know the Word of God. And what is the "Word of God?" Yes, Scripture - however Jesus is the Living Word of God. God's Word created Jesus in Creation. Jesus Lives Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. John, who walked with Jesus said, "We show we Love Jesus by Living His Words."
25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,
through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.
He did this to demonstrate his righteousness,
because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Father God wrote this 2 Millenniums ago to talk about the following:
What is Suffering?
Solomon wrote that life rains on the just and the unjust.
Father God is saying "If I Give you - My Son - what will you work towards with the gift of life. Life is a test."
Jesus Christ died horribly to save me. And you. Show Father God with our lives - Jesus' sacrifice is not without appreciation.Show Father God with our lives - our souls in Heaven are a good thing for His invitation for eternity.
This also says Father God will never send a plague to sweep up only the damned. Life is created for us to show Father God what we are made of. Draw close to God.
27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. 2
8 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,
30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. 31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
Psalm 96
1 Sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
proclaim his salvation day after day.
3 Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
The Goodness of God is to be Expected.
4 For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens!
Ephesians 4 tells us Father God fills the Heavens of the Universe.
6 Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and glory are in his sanctuary.
Revelations tells us even of the Throne of Father God in Heaven.
7 Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ephesians 3 tells us Families are named by God in our very birth and Families Live with God in Eternity.
8 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
bring an offering and come into his courts.
Jesus Christ The Righteous!
9 Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness;
tremble before him, all the earth.
John visited Heaven and saw the Glory of God, just like Isaiah, and was overcome until Father God sent Comfort. He calls His Holy Spirit, "The Comforter."
10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.”
The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved;
he will judge the peoples with equity.
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow - Father God calls His earth - His fullness and calls His Creation - Good. Give Thanks. This is the only gift that He has not given us - first.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad!
let the sea resound, and all that is in it!
12 Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
let all the trees of the forest sing for joy!
13 Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes,
he comes to judge the earth!
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples in his faithfulness!
Spread the Good News - Father God wants to save the World. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
In Jesus, we lift up our loved ones, our Nation and our cares, Father God says He Will Care for Us. Alleluia. Amen.
