Christmas presents us with something we do not often think of.
Matthew 13
"But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. 17"For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."
For centuries, the people who heard Father God knew of the coming of the Messiah. And we are so fortunate to be the beloved who know this - the name of God's only Son - the Highest Name - is Jesus.
This is the birthday of Jesus the Lord. And we know His Name.
Because of this, we are able to pray with Jesus.
John 14
13"Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
Father God, we thank You for Your name and not only do You hear our prayers, You pray with us and give Your Word in compassion. Thank You for Jesus. Amen
