Matthew 2:9-11
9 After listening to the king,
they went on their way.
And behold,
the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. 11 And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him.
Matthew 4:4
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
Matthew 5:18
For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Every Word of God is Law - therefore, accomplished.
We can listen to Elvis, The King. Bruce Springsteen, The Boss. Queen. Or the entire list of Royalty nicknames https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honorific_nicknames_in_popular_music. There are too many nods at bosses and royalty nicknames to even want to count.
We can listen to bad family advice, bad friend advice - as well as popular culture. We can follow the example of Eve and Samson determining their own path. Or Solomon's son and David's grandson to apparently lose the Kingdom given to David.
We are always determining the true path of faith. Diligence to God is important. Honoring Him and His enduring and Steadfast Love to us.
However - when we are following our soul to find Jesus, Behold, God leads us diligently.
1 John 2:1-14
2 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
7 Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard. 8 At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because[a] the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. 9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him[b] there is no cause for stumbling. 11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 I am writing to you, little children,
because your sins are forgiven for his name's sake.
13 I am writing to you, fathers,
because you know him who is from the beginning.
I am writing to you, young men,
because you have overcome the evil one.
I write to you, children,
because you know the Father.
14 I write to you, fathers,
because you know him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men,
because you are strong,
and the word of God abides in you,
and you have overcome the evil one.
Abba Father,
We ask Your Blessings,
Help us to have Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Diligently guide us, in all our ways acknowledge You, Father and You will make straight our paths.
We will trust You, Father, You are the Way, Truth and Life and we will come to You in the Glory of Jesus.
We ask to Delight You with our life. And the lives of those we Love. The people You have given us. To the Nation blessing our schools, jobs, cities and Churches. Asking Your Blessing on our Nation. Asking You to bless the Nations Trusting in You. Blessing all of those believing in You around all of Your Creation.
All life is given in the Goodness of God. Let our prayer bring more of Your Heaven to earth. More of the Holy Spirit.
Goodness in Jesus Christ. Amen.
