John 14:27-31
7 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’
If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father.
Rise, let us go from here.

Jesus was able to live His life with Joy. Jesus could have dinner with the people Jesus declared were his mother, brother & sisters doing God's will and let the New Covenant be a celebration. Surely, the disciples were confused, but Jesus knew exactly what He was saying about Peace, then telling Peter about desertion and the rooster crowing 3 times.
Imagine the joyful celebration of the new covenant. Jesus is telling them a supreme message of hope. He tells them... He will never leave them orphaned. Jesus would cry out to God in just hours that He felt forsaken. Peace isn't about the stiff upper lip, peace is being rescued by God even when it is faith - the substance of the unseen.
Abba, Holy Father,
Today I'm praying for peace. The changes in technology. The issues of life. Going through a very dangerous neighborhood in the 4th largest city in the USA and the navigation program on the phone goes out - and I'm alone in my car having dropped of Edward for a game. Being lost.
Going to a new city this weekend and the navigation system misdirects 3 times and I'm alone in the car. Calling for prescription renewal and the renewal will not take and merely repeats invalid number and the prescription tech says it's valid. Having the spelling to out on the 3 internet browsers goes out on all 3 browsers. Going to another city to have lunch with Edward 3 weeks ago and the navigation app goes out on the phone as the exit happens for the downtown area.
Edward's navigation app had the first problem in years and years as he is in a different city and trying to reach an A-Tier Tournament.
Not receiving emails. while protected with subscription malware and antiviral programs. New app downloads asking too much information.
This is dangersous. And we pray when old programs like Free Grammarly suddenly will not work and suddenly want all your contacts and a new email and your facebook account. This is also a different kind of dangerous. We pray for the people who use technology to interfere in harmful ways. It's plain scary and unhealthy.
Father God, we pray for health. For Edward who has had a cold for a month and fever this week. For me as the sore throat returns tonight. For the comfort of every day life , all thrive upon. The peace of life we have been so blessed with in the United States to broaden, deepen and continue.
We pray for more Heaven on earth. In technology. In communities. Sweeping to the Nation. For our Loved ones. For this Nation trusting in God. And all the nations and Children of God Trusting in the Lord God our Father.
To find a blessing in each day, to be assured of God's love. That the Helper might lift them and guide all of us.
We pray let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
In Jesus' Name and in His Mercy, Grace and Love. Amen.
In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
