Borrowing from Tolkien, the flame appears as a heart
and then a butterfly. Acts 2. God is our King.
Matthew 5:15,16
Jesus says: "Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket;
it is set on a lampstand,
where it gives light to all in the house.
Just so, your light must shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds
and
glorify your heavenly Father."
When we think of a Lampstand, we think of clarity. Light travels far. Yet to give God Glory, we really are saying Sincerity of Love. The Light of mankind is more than electricity or energy. The Light of mankind is eternal. Jesus Christ is enduring and unchanging. Finding Joy even when the people surround Him for only a miracle. Helping the Pharisee when his child has died. The widow of Nain's son lived, to let the Glory of God's Abilities Shine.
Sometimes we think about Mother's Theresa's letters told of her work and her love and her doubt. I'm sorry the letters were published. It seems cruel to me. Instead, I remember the Apostles and their fears and their diligence in finding Jesus daily. Their flaws were willingly
told by themselves.
Jesus brings forth Good. This is the Light of Jesus Christ.
We've thought and considered ourselves as Cathedrals, we are the Temple of God. His Child. And the lights of the prayers as not just the warm prayer we know connected us to the Lord God Almighty but the prayers we pray all our lives, matter to the Father of All, God of the Universe.
Amazing, the Angels of Heaven thought originally God would invest in mankind to make them only a little lower than the Angels. Jesus was to fill us, we are lost before Salvation is realized.
Would you think a Cathedral would be a Blessing during the age of wax candles? One would think a fire hazard, when each person must carry a candle in order not to fall in the size of the Cathedral.
And instead the Prayers of the people kept the huge Cathedral filled with the Glow of Beauty and Light with Hope.
Our Prayers offered together
give us Hope and Encouragement
in the Community of Saints
being heard around the world.
We do not uphold the world.
We are the Children of God.
Grace upon Grace.
God's Creation He calls Good
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Abba, Father God,
We believe all of Your Promises.
This week our Church read about Tabitha and in Acts, Chapter 9
Tabitha, like Jairus' daughter, Lived.
Jesus and You, our Father, are still working.
All the miracles we know
Jesus is so Lovingly Capable.
I pray until I know Jesus has other Plans.
Jesus, we welcome Your Miraculous Word.
Dwell in us, Help us to Seek You First.
Bless our loved ones, our families and friends.
Help us to be the Light of Jesus Christ as You Provide
us to do so.
Edward and I would like your prayers,
we have headaches and sore shoulders
with tender Lymph nodes.
Thanks!
Jesus bless the USA and all the other Nations
who need You so much.
In God we Trust
and dwell secure.
Dwell in us, Jesus,
Help us to place You first.
And all things are under Your Feet.
Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
