Daniel 2:20-23 ~ Emmanuel, Jesus the Christ, Blessed be the Name of God forever and ever

 

Daniel 2:20-23

“Blessed be the Name of God forever and ever, to Whom belong wisdom and might. 21 He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; 22 He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him. 

23 To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for You have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of You, for You have made known to us the king's matter.”

We have a choice. We can be Daniel, who believes God will triumph in all circumstances. 

Daniel also knew about God. Daniel understood that the Host of Heaven is a network of God's messengers across the earth, revealed as Jesus was being Born. 

Just as Moses knew the Lord God Almighty. 

Jesus sorted people out as He began His ministry. He said The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, repent. 

And when pressed by the disciples to explain how to have a relationship with God,

Jesus said,

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done
in earth, as it is in heaven:
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive them that trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

1 Chronicles 29:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the Majesty, for All that is in the Heavens and in the earth is Yours. Yours is the Kingdom, O LORD, and You are Exalted as Head above All.
