Revelation 19:11-14
11 Then I saw Heaven opened, and behold,
a white horse!
The One sitting on it is called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His Eyes are like a flame of fire,
and
on His Head are many diadems,
and
He has a Name written that no one knows
but Himself.
13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood,
and the Name
by which He is called
is
The Word of God.
14 And the armies of Heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure,
were following
Him
on
white horses.
Last Tuesday, Edward and I had plans to go and see my mother-in-law for Thanksgiving and take our dogs. Plans made for several weeks.
I dreamed early last week about a Thanksgiving repeat.
My mother-in-law was in the kitchen with me, and we were talking and fixing food. I could hear the garage door open, and then heard my eldest son greet us. I turned to Judy and said, "Oh, I need to tell you something!" Because I remembered we had not told her about our younger son expecting a baby. Then, I realized, he should tell his grandmother their good news. Judy said, "Oh, tell, tell!" And I wanted to tell, but Cal was then with us. And I woke up. Such a happy dream.
And now Judy knows!
Last Sunday, the phone rang as we were about to order lunch. Edward put the phone down. And he said to me, the man standing behind you has on the black checked shirt my father loved to wear, you should look. I smiled and replied, I have heard many times about the black checked shirt, but it preceded me. That shirt was part of history by the time I was 16 years old. Oh.
Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God is in your midst,
A Mighty One Who will save;
He will
Rejoice over you with gladness;
He will
quiet you by His Love;
He will
exult over you
with loud singing.
And in Jesus - this Hope,
Faith and Love - we will rise up believing Jesus.
Amen.
