Psalm 138 ~ on the day I called, You answered me

For the areas of the world still celebrating the 112th Day of January 2018.
Good is seen in all weather!!!

Psalm 138

1 I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart;
before the gods I sing your praise!

2 I bow down toward your holy temple
and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
for you have exalted above all things
your name and your word!

3 On the day I called, you answered me;
my strength of soul you increased [you made me bold in my soul with strength].

4 All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Lord,

for they have heard the words of your mouth,

5 and they shall sing of the ways of the Lord,

for great is the glory of the Lord!

6 For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly,

but the haughty he knows from afar.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,

you preserve my life;

you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies,

and your right hand delivers me.

8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;

your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.

Do not forsake the work of your hands!

When we read the Scriptures with our hands, hearts and souls open in prayer, we notice as we read God's Word is alive and speaks to us. Sure, some passages have a phrase containing a favorite verse and we will look to it as our favorite spot in our home or yard. Yet sometimes, you read a passage, and part of it leaps to you, your Spiritual eyes are opened to the Scripture.

When I've read Psalm 138, sometimes it Is the joy of God. Or another day, the thrill of a situation solved. In times of difficulty, the promise of the LORD who says to me, He would never forsake me, I am the work of His hands. This is the Scripture being living and active to us.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

When we have Christian memories of articles, sermons and Christian witnesses  - a few will always remain in our hearts.

You made me bold in my soul with strength

Matthew 5:15
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

This is a true story.

A pro-life volunteer nurse from outside of Houston, Texas in 2015 was invited with her husband to go on his Canadian hunting trip with his hunting buddies. Her husband had not planned very carefully and in the last two weeks, told her he'd booked her plane and had the hunting lodge give them the best room. She was pleased, but asked him why. He said the Hunting Lodge is too nice for you to miss being in rural Canada, the huge trees, the pristine snow and the marvelous Hunting Lodge. After she looked at the computer, she decided this unplanned trip was going to be one of the adventures of a lifetime.

And she was left pretty much to herself as the men went of on ski mobiles to hunt. She was reading downstairs and started talking a woman about the rural forested area of Canada. The woman said she had given up on a larger nursing career to live in her little hometown, take odd jobs and then had a few hours at the hospital far away in the larger town. Discovering they were both nurses, they started to enjoy sharing stories. The Texas nurse, being a pro-life volunteer, asked the 65 year old local nurse if she was a Christian.

The Canadian nurse had quite an odd, frightened, excited, joyous, tearful look at that question. She said, "I'm 65 years old and I have avoided all the religious all my life until last winter. And I don't explain this well - but here goes:"

"I make ends meet the most by driving a good, long way in the dark forest to the distant next town. I do nursing work at the hospital. I have an older car and usually, it's a good car. I got in the car about dark and started out in terrible low temperatures and increasing snow. A lot of the trip - I rarely see another car or person."

"I realized about half-way there my car was trying to die. I urged it on pushing on the gas and got less power. The car was seeing every electrical part dim. I had no idea what it was, but it was bad. And I could very well parish as cell-phone reception is low and mine was dead. I knew urging the car forward, I had a good change of not being alive much longer. No houses, no people.

Rural forest land. I didn't pray, didn't care for the ways of the religious. And have always flipped the channel, changed the radio station and walked off when it was all that lingo."

"It was just about dark. And the only lights were my dimming head lights."

"I thought about my son being told by the local police I was frozen to death and the car was just as dead. I thought about the reactions of people around town. I thought of the funerals I'd gone to where the people were suddenly just not alive. I thought about missing grandchildren. I thought about missing seeing my son. I thought I was dead. The car was worse. It was time to meet my maker."

"And the phrase startled me 'Meet my Maker'. Sounded warm. Warmer than the car. I thought, "Wow and I don't even know how to pray from running off, not a good start.""

"Hello...Father. I know we are not on speaking terms, and I don't even know how to pray. Father, I'm about to be coming home and I'm sorry I've been so far off, that I can't even give You the right words. I will miss my son. Help him, please. I think I'm going to die tonight... Amen."

"And I heard in my head. I looked at the radio because it was off to conserve the electricity in the car. I heard God clearly say, when no one else in the car could have heard, "You did alright with the words. Don't worry, my dear Child. At the next little convenience store -"

"Oh, That convenience store IS Closed," I said the words out loud.

God patiently continued,"Yes, at the next convenience store, there will be a young man in front of the store with the car part you need. Outside the closed store. Don't worry, your time for coming to Me is not for many years and you will know all your grandchildren. Now, don't worry."

I looked down and I have more than 5 miles. But now, I wasn't worried. So I needed to worry. I thought, "How will I ever explain this? I'd never have believed me." And I looked way down the road hoping to see the one large convenience light.

And there was the 20-year-old young man, smoking a cigarette, at a closed store, standing by the only street light in almost the whole car trip. I pulled up and got out. I explained my car problem and only my car problem, but calmly. He replied, "I had this same thing happen to me last week and I bought the wrong car part at first. And my girlfriend broke up with me in the middle of the car not working."

I offered to pay him for the part. He said, "No, it's only about eleven dollars and it's amazing you are about the only car out I've seen and if you can use the part - it's your's - don't worry." God had told me that part too. He said, "I know how to put the part in and it's easy on your car. Take 10 or so minutes."

He did and the car was perfect. I told him how afraid I'd been. He said, "You were right to worry." So then I had to ask, "Are you an angel?" This startled the young, young man. He said he'd show me his driver's license. I told him what I'd heard God say. He looked more relieved and said, "I've actually heard of people around my Church tell stories like that and you look too happy for it not to be true. Glad I could help." He refused all money after that, saying that I'd made his day.

I was saved. Forever. Eternally.
I listen and know the songs on Christian Radio. I've found a Bible Church. And now I read the Letters of the God who reached down to save a "Stubborn, Me-I'm-not-Religious, 65 year-old-woman" alone and about to freeze to death in the forest she loved so much.

I've met the Lord Father God every day and in so many ways. I know my Father Loves Me. I'm saved.

That is what Jesus does. He saves the broken, the bruised reed, the undeserving. He is the Light that Shines.

John 5:17
Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working."

Luke 18:1
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up

For great is the glory of the Lord.

Abba, Holy Father,

We pray the Living Word You've given us for Your willing blessings.

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?"

And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

"And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Father God, we pray Your Glory on Your Words and Heart. We pray Your Glory on the People we Love. We pray Your Glory on the people You have given us. We pray Your Glory on the Churches of Your Heart. We pray Your Glory in our communities to the Nation. We pray for Your Glory on our concerns and the people we are praying for most now. We pray Your Glory for more Heaven on earth for the praying believers world wide and the believers of tomorrow - unborn and journeying this life today. God's Glory Shine!!!

In Jesus. Amen.

1 Corinthians 8:6 ~ There is one God

Jacob and his 12 sons are Israel and the Tribes of Israel. God has seen something in Jacob to name him Israel and use his story as the Biblical Israel. So, when Jacob left his family to work for his father-in-law, Laban, Jacob is paid in all the white sheep. Right?

Incorrect. Jacob asked this of Laban:

Genesis 30:32
Let me go through all your flocks today and remove from them every speckled or spotted sheep, every dark-colored lamb and every spotted or speckled goat. They will be my wages.

Why would God provide such a regular animal to be the flag ship of Jacob/Israel?

1 Corinthians 8:6

Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.

“Knowledge” puffs up, but love builds up.  If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.   But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.

Relationship. God expects us to display ourselves as we are. As He sees us fully.

2 Corinthians 2:17b
People of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ

Jesus would pray our love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that we may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

We have One Perfect Lamb of God. Jesus Christ, God's Only Son. Jesus.

Romans 4:25
He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.

Romans 8:32
He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?

We require Jesus.

Romans 3:22-24
22 And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Paul said we may not be even aware of our sins, they exist. To seek God and allow His Love, is our aim.

Romans 1:28
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God.

For example, Laban not knowing a spotted sheep was dominant in the gene pool.

Matthew 15:32
Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way."

Jacob Ewe lamb

God tells us He does not respect people. If we take a vote to prove to God He is wrong on something - God is not going to agree. God will, as David knew, have compassion on us when we are humble and draw near to God.

Abba,

Bless us - Your Spotted Lambs, please.
We always need Your Grace, Mercy and Love.

Bless us and Keep us

Make Your Face shine upon us,
be gracious to us.

May You, Father God, Lift up Your Face

and smile upon us.

Giving us Peace. Covering us in the Name of Jesus. Bless us.

Revelation 7:9
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

Thank Jesus. Making You our Righteousness, God calls us Children of God.

We are the Sheep of Your Pasture. It is You that has made us and not we ourselves.

Amen, Amen, Amen

Psalm 145 ~ Let every creature praise His holy name for ever and ever

Psalm 145

A psalm of praise. Of David.

1 I will exalt you, my God the King

I will praise your name for ever and ever.

2 Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

4 One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. 5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. 6 They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds.

7 They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.

9 The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.

10 All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you. 11 They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, 12 so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.

The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. 14 The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. 15 The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. 16 You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. 18 The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. 19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.

20 The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. 21 My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.

Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.

1 John 3:11
This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.

We have a Jackson Grand-dog (for about 9 years from Montgomery County Animal Shelter - where Jackson adopted us.)

Jackson has a talent like this:

Jackson would love prayer, he is having some hip and bladder difficulty. We are getting him back from Michigan to let him swim in the pond. One of his phrases is clearly "No way." We "Way" pray for Jackson's Great Health.

Jackson sometimes pretends to be the Loch Ness Monster. He never submerges and the ducks give him a run for his money but are agile to escape him. If you swim after him - you can catch him after a couple of hours of letting Jackson swim back and forth.

Of course, I had to pick this cat video - who looked like our Heavenly departed 19 yr old Scoop. Scoop never said a human word,  but conveyed a lot of heart. And Vim. And a swat. And possibly a bite. A Perpetually fine attitude of loved and loving cat. Great kitty.

Scoop arrived when our youngest son was in kindergarten - lived with all 3 of our long lived Springer Spaniels and in spite of being loved by the dogs - resolutely would not love the first 2 Spaniels. Even when they would cry if Scoop wanted in the house from having a walk-about. Nope, no love for the Spaniels. Until Beaux decided he would kiss the cat until the cat liked him. Scoop with a 17 year old cat self-amazement - began to purr and enjoy Beaux all Scoop's life.

1 John 5:1
Everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

1 John 2:29
You know that everyone who does what is right has been born of Him.

All the Animal Kingdom will break ranks and show the example people have quoted for millenniums "I learned to be a fine person for my dog and his fine opinion of me." God works in impossible situations.

Psalm 100
It is He who has made us, not we ourselves. We are the Sheep of His Pasture

Acts 20:28
Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds!!!

Father, Abba,

David was a man God gave His testimony, and said, "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will." We know from David's life - David was always a Shepherd.

Father God, we give thanks for our blessings and daily pray for the creation You have placed in our hands. We are so blessed to be loved by those we love.

We thank You, Abba, for our pets - part of our lives - they give to us: We give thanks for the fine "People" help!!!

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

Psalm 4:7
You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.

Psalm 9:1
I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.

Psalm 23:6
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Those who are blessed, want to bless others. Your Blessing Father, bountifully bless the people and the creation we Love, we ask for Your willing Blessings.

On Sunny Days, we know Luke 12:32
Your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

Bless the Nation trusting in You and our Churches nurturing us continually. Bless the People You have given us.

Bless all Your Creation looking to You for Good Health. Blessings and Blessings we ask.

And all of Father God's people say - Thank You, Father. Amen and Amen in Jesus.

Isaiah 35:8-10 ~ a highway shall be there

I was with my family, we had at least a dozen of us, and it was a beautiful, clear Heavenly day. Not a cloud in sight.

Isaiah 35:8-10

8 And a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
the unclean shall not pass over it.

It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
9 No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there.

10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 40:25-31

25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hidden from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God?

28 Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

This Dream of Heaven was one of my most memorable dreams of my entire life. The day and dream did not show the clouds Heaven reports in Scripture.

The view was very clear from this moving sidewalk, We saw as if we were in a low flying small airplane. There were no rails and we were not worried. I was traveling with my family. The breeze was pretty cool. We were utterly un-astonished. At peace, telling old stories and laughing. Remarking of the view. Discussing wearing sweaters. We had chosen to look at Easter Island. Was it really Easter Island? I don't know, I know we were in Heaven. This dream was before Alexander was born - so, this was late 1980's or early 90's. I can recall this perfectly. With Love and Joy. Always a Blessing to remember this.

Another interesting aspect of the dream (a horror to those of archaeology!) Easter Island was restored to the original paradise. Restored, Renewed, Reclaimed, Redeemed. We chose to move fast on the path and go much lower and get a view of the island to about 150 feet above.

Isaiah 49:9-13

They shall feed along the ways;
on all bare heights shall be their pasture

10 they shall not hunger or thirst,
neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them,
for he who has pity on them will lead them,
and by springs of water will guide them.

11 And I will make all my mountains a road,
and my highways shall be raised up.

12 Behold, these shall come from afar,
and behold, these from the north and from the west,
and these from the land of Syene.”

13 Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth;
break forth, O mountains, into singing!
For the LORD has comforted his people
and will have compassion on his afflicted.

When I've talked to the many people about their dreams of Heaven and Jesus, we know what was a dream, what was a glimpse, what was Heaven.  Usually, we see deep emotion to speak of these wonders.

It's a funny thing to share your open soul and heart. Immediately God's people want to sort out if this was godly. Yes. Was it real. Yes. Was it of God if God is not seen? Yes. God's Kingdom is a Kingdom. Does it rank? Now - this I'd speak to. A dream of Heaven does not 'rank'. This is a gift of God. This is a Blessing and does not need 'ranking'. Dreams and visions and even people with the gift to hear God - don't rank. This is a Gift of God.

I've seen Jesus our Lord God. I'm in His Lap as a Child of God and I see us from far, far away. Have I seen the field before? Now that I think about it, yes. I've seen the field the day I met my Aunt Clarice (finding out later she had died that evening) to see God's Kingdom Wall and 12 Gates on the hill. Is this outside Heaven? I don't think so, it's His. However... this could be the edge. Only time and God will answer some things.

Many of the people I've talked to said Jesus met them in a field. And they, like me, saw this from a distance, as an out of body experience. They were held and comforted by Jesus at peace and at rest, joyous to see them.

Now usually the dream starts out like this: We know Jesus is waiting for us in the field. And the flowers are noticed. Mostly yellow with some red.

It's not the Alps. It's not the Teton Mountains. Looks a little bit ordinary. The colors are natural - not intense. And then we all wonder would this be level 3 or 4,5,6? Then we all decide the focus is, of course, on Jesus!

And this is true. The focus is on Jesus.

When you ask was there a tree?

We decide, yes there was a tree. When asked again, was it a large tree? Why yes, it was.

Now an attorney would ask if you were being led. No, this is remembering the dream unfolding like a flower.

And then we are going to hear, "This was like coming Home. And Jesus was just as I longed to find Him. Jesus is well and good, He is in His Father's Home, I'm going Home to Jesus." This is not without emotion, to talk about your dreams of God, is going to invoke yearning and fulfillment. "I have never forgotten how this Dream gave me such assurance and Love."

God, our Father, has created the Universe. Our blood platelets. Our DNA. Water molecules that are vapor, liquid, solid, cloud and rain completing a cycle of life. The Oak tree will eventually remind us of Abraham. Leaving his home to travel to an arid land. Living in the Oaks of Mamre. Content in life to dwell in a tent, believing in the permanence of God's Heavenly Kingdom. We are coming Home.

The colors are not spectacular. It could be that we are on the edge of Heaven before arriving through His 12 Open Single Pearl Gates. The edge of Heaven.

Now keep looking at that unspectacular field and tree. At what is possible?

What we don't see... Might be the Wall of the City of God. The New Jerusalem.

Abba, Father God,

Your Blessings are plentiful and sought gladly.

Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

And with the Love Jesus has for us, we place ourselves, our Loved ones, the People You have given us.

Delighting in our loved ones and knowing their cares and interests.Delighting ourselves in the Lord, and He will give us the desires of our heart. GodI will strengthen us, He tells us He will help us, He will uphold us with His righteous right hand.

Placing us with God's Holy Spirit where He can do more than we ask or imagine. Nothing better for us than to be joyful and to do good as long as we do this we Will Live.

Knowing those with medical needs are covered, just as we are covered in the Name of Jesus. Up to our Churches, the Nation and the people praying for their nations around the World.

In Jesus. Amen.

The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
