Reading Scripture helps us know God's Love. Every Bible verse is written for you. Jesus Christ is all mankind's Light. John 1!

Psalm 87 ~ The Lord loves the gates of Zion

Psalm 87

A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song.

On the holy mount stands the city he founded;
2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion
more than all the dwelling places of Jacob.

3 Glorious things of you are spoken,
O city of God. Selah

4 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon;
behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush—
“This one was born there,” they say.
5 And of Zion it shall be said,
“This one and that one were born in her”;
for the Most High himself will establish her.
6 The Lord records as he registers the peoples,
“This one was born there.” Selah

7 Singers and dancers alike say,
“All my springs are in you.”

Jesus traveled around Zion. What is Zion?

Zi·on 1. the hill of Jerusalem on which the city of David was built.
2. (In Christian thought) the heavenly city or Kingdom of Heaven.

In Revelation we are told Heaven does not have an Ocean, instead has Shining Water. The Sea of Galilee is not an ocean, but it is shining water. Why wouldn't Jesus who gave His Father a new Heaven and a new earth - want some similarities? We are told that the new City is so elevated the city arrives from above.

We are taken care of in so many ways. We take careful thought to the Blessings He gives us.

God puts His gifts and talents in all of us. We might find each of us - gifted and talented, He calls this Springs of Living Water.

The Lord Loves the Gates of Zion. Jesus dwells in you, you are a Gate of Zion. A Child of God.

When Jesus chose where He would live, He chose with great care. Capernaum was one of the loveliest cities in all of Judea. Truly Beautiful.

Jesus knew Heaven as well as He knew Abraham, no doubt Jesus would chose wisely where to live.

We find in the Scriptures -

1 John 4:19
We love because he first loved us.

1 John 5:11
And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

2 Corinthians 1:21
And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us

It's not really up to us to pick God, our Father. The Choice is God's. When God says He has put His Living Water in us, we have been chosen by God. God doesn't sigh and put up with people. God saves the lost. God saves the world in Jesus Christ. Proverbs 8 says God delights in His Creation and in mankind.

God has been choosing People for a long time. Yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Mount Arbel and the Temple look very similar. I believe this is a foreshadowing of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Abba,

Blessed to be chosen and Loved by God.

Blessed to ask for more of Your Good Will in Heaven as in earth. Blessed to be Given this day. Blessed to find Your Kingdom, Your Power and Your Glory as Life goes forth.

Blessed to have our prayers heard. Blessed to trust our Loved Ones to Jesus. Blessed to be the Children of God in Jesus Christ. Blessed to have Hope, Faith and Love.

Blessed. Amen in Jesus.

Luke 7:11-18 ~ this report about him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country

Luke 7:11-18

11 Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him.

12 As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow,

and a considerable crowd from the town was with her.

13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”

14 Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.”

15 And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother.

16 Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited his people!”

17 And this report about him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.  18 The disciples of John reported all these things to him.

Luke 19:10
For the Son of Man has come
to seek and to save that
which was lost.

John 3:17
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn
the world, but in order that
 the world might be saved
through
Jesus Christ.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Jesus is saving the lost.

God's work for mankind is to believe the One He has sent, Jesus Christ.

Abba,

You renew our Blessings each morning.

Daily You Load us with Benefits.

Every day help us to Remember and seek and see Your Glory.
To Live the Joy and Love and Peace of how wide and high Your Love is.

For the love of Christ filling us with all the fullness of God.

Now to Jesus Christ!
He is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine,
according to His power that is at work within us,

To Jesus Christ be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,
forever and ever.

We are sealed in Jesus. Blessed to ask more Heaven on earth. Blessed to be Given this day. Blessed to pray impudently, especially for those we Love.  Blessed by Jesus Christ forever. Amen. Alleluia!!!

Psalm 86 ~ good and forgiving

Psalm 86

A Prayer of David.

Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer me,
for I am poor and needy.
2 Preserve my life, for I am godly;
save your servant, who trusts in you—you are my God.
3 Be gracious to me, O Lord,
for to you do I cry all the day.
4 Gladden the soul of your servant,
for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5 For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

6 Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer;
listen to my plea for grace.

7 In the day of my trouble I call upon you,
for you answer me.

8 There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
nor are there any works like yours.

9 All the nations you have made shall come
and worship before you, O Lord,
and shall glorify your name.

10 For you are great and do wondrous things;
you alone are God.

11 Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
unite my heart to fear your name.

12 I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart,
and I will glorify your name forever.

13 For great is your steadfast love toward me;
you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

14 O God, insolent men have risen up against me;
a band of ruthless men seeks my life,
and they do not set you before them.
15 But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

16 Turn to me and be gracious to me;
give your strength to your servant,
and save the son of your maidservant.

17 Show me a sign of your favor,
that those who hate me may see and be put to shame
because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

This week I've been thinking a lot about Paul. A very unusual life. A promising career. And then a detour - Jesus was there.

Success. Julius Caesar ended one of the most profoundly blessed and successful careers in 44 B.C. Jesus died about 33 A.D. Julius Caesar took his troops on the way to conquering Germainia to a beach in Italy. True story. He wanted the troops to see where his great or great-great grandmother had landed - being the goddess of Venus. Aphrodite. Unknowingly, the Romans believed Genesis 6 was true. The gods and goddesses arrived and had children. (Someday we will know what God Himself knows...) And in this Julius Caesar went forth. One of the most intelligent men in history met with a very unsuccessful end.

Jesus never seemed to have lasting Success. And yet - we know Jesus is working even today. Like Jesus, Paul had an odd life. And yet we know Paul to be the most loving of people. When you look through the Scriptures and look just to find how loving Paul was - the fact really comes home Paul loved God's people and creation.

Listing all the terrible adventures of Paul - it would be easy to count Paul out.

David, as a youth, had this same quality. What career would David, the youngest son, have when even Jesse, his father, would count him out as Samuel came to anoint a child of God.

Misadventures and lack of success. Ask a kindergarten aged child if they can draw well - usually you find - Yes - this child has skill. And singing? Yes, this child continues to have gifts and talents. Ask a young adult of 18 and you would find some unhappiness to play to this teen's talents. What talents? Adults have troubles. Times when there is failure. Statistics aren't always right, but in the USA - according to some sources - alcoholism is 1 of 3 adults. Nationally mature people have two friends who are trusted. Financial troubles surround medical bills. Concerns and worries surround the lives of our children. Or we have gone the other direction and are chilly willy. Dreams are realized and others sneered upon. Or unrealized and frustration is something we are familiar - all of us - with.

What is God thinking? Life is not meant to be completely comfortable. This life is temporary. By God's Word we have problems. Jesus stated, "This Life will have trouble."

God also tells us His Mission. To save the lost. God has built life to find Jesus Christ. We love Him, because He loves us first. Julius Caesar had all the worldly success he could want. And one day, that was all over. And he is remembered as a dusty figure.

Ecclesiastes 3:20
All go to one place. All are from the dust, and to dust all return.

David could have been this. Unsurmountable trouble. Continuous waves of trouble. And because David found God's Love and felt the Love of God, he cared for his brothers and life would find a remnant path filled with God's mercy. God's gift is faith, to realize He is present. We will find what Jesus has said as God's Word:

John 10:9
I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.

Consider what deep despair should have ended Paul.

Even at Damascus, the governor under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascus in order to seize Paul.

2 Corinthians 11
But whatever anyone else dares to boast of—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast of that. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they offspring of Abraham? So am I. 23 Are they servants of Christ? I am a better one—I am talking like a madman—with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. 24 Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26 on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from my own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; 27 in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food,[b] in cold and exposure. 28 And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches.

29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to fall, and I am not indignant? 30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. 31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying.

Paul was saved from the governor of King Aretas by being let down in a basket through a window in the wall and escaped his hands. Just as God told Israel there would always be a remnant. And God told Elijah is crisis - this:

1 Kings 19
11 And he said, “Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper.

What else do we call The Comforter? God living within us Faith, Hope and Love?

1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Jesus stilled the winds and the waves. We will have trouble if God wills. We will have peace of God wills. We will have both as we walk with Jesus. God Himself has said. And yet... all these troubles we have seen in the very real Scriptures inspire us
to keep on with Jesus who keeps on within us.

And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets— who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

The reason God has told us to consider life like Corrie Ten Baum considered the fleas - we are the Children of God and we will not know everything God Himself is doing. We look to God as our Hope and Future.

John 14

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

Abba,

Jesus is our Blessing. His exact nature reveals You.

If it were not so, Jesus would not have told us that You prepare a place for us.

Every day, we will run the race, fight the good fight and we will not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to You, Father God.

We will not be dust. We are meaningful to You, Father God. Your Child, bought with a price. We are casting all our anxieties on You, because You cares for us.

Believing You are God, the Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth. Calling all the Heavenly Hosts by name. Our Father in Jesus Christ, we will let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

Blessed to be covered in Your Holy Name. Blessed to ask for more of Your Good Will on earth as it is in Heaven. Blessed to be given this day. Blessed to Live and to know Your Kingdom, Your Power and Your Glory. For the whole world through Jesus Christ. Blessed to have Faith, Hope and Love.

Amen in Jesus!

John 14 ~ Let not your hearts be troubled

John 14

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else believe on account of the works themselves.

12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. 30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me, 31 but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.

We all have a picture in our minds of Jesus near us. Jesus walking. Jesus hands on someone. Jesus listening.

When we talk about John 14, you find more verses of the Scriptures people consider their soul is warmed and have favorite verses. This Chapter is filled to the brim of verses we hold on to. This is so important, so incredible - we know Jesus had to be sitting, as usual, to teach His Disciples.

4 Chapters of John - 14, 15, 16 and 17 and Jesus is sending His Disciples to the ends of the earth and leaving this earth to be with His Father. His Ministry on earth is ending.

Consider John 9
51 When the days drew near for him to be taken up, he set his face to go to Jerusalem. 52 And he sent messengers ahead of him, who went and entered a village of the Samaritans, to make preparations for him. 53 But the people did not receive him, because his face was set toward Jerusalem.

The Samaritans did not want Jesus to be lost and his ministry to end.

Thomas has said he will die with Jesus about the time Lazarus was raised. The Disciples are not unaware of the dangers Jesus is facing. He has avoided being arrested by the Temple police before because the Temple police felt it would endanger themselves to arrest Jesus.

John 7:45
Finally the temple guards went back to the chief priests and the Pharisees, who asked them, "Why didn't you bring him in?"

John 12
16 His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about him and had been done to him. 17 The crowd that had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to bear witness. 18 The reason why the crowd went to meet him was that they heard he had done this sign.

19 So the Pharisees said to one another, “You see that you are gaining nothing.

Look, the world has gone after him.”

So how long has this knowledge been there of Jesus?
A good, long time!

Luke 1
65 All the neighbors were filled with awe, and throughout the hill country of Judea people were talking about all these things. 66 Everyone who heard this wondered about it, asking, “What then is this child going to be?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.

The Road to Damascus tells us all of Israel knows Jesus.
John 12:19 Tells us The world has gone after Him

Now, was this an- over- emphasis- mega- statement? "No."

John 12
20 Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast. 21 They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.” 22 Philip relayed this appeal to Andrew, and both of them went and told Jesus.

Today, we believe this was Greeks from Crete who wanted to save worthy Jesus. Later, Crete invites Titus to be with them after the Resurrection.

Really are they being exaggerating? No.

Mark 1
32 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. 33 The whole town gathered at the door, 34 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases.

Jesus has been part of the Scriptures since God said," Let there be Light." And as He sits down to discuss how they will adapt to something they can't want to know or comprehend, Jesus says, "Let not your hearts be troubled."

Jesus had not left us, He lives in us when we ask Him to.

Jesus and His Father are still working.

Abba,

You bless us every day with this day and Your Willing Blessings.

We have prayed for 42 year old Elliott not to have cancer. Not to have Multiple Myeloma. Elliott started out with a broken back and his cancer number was 7 at Wake Forest. Today Elliott's number is Zero, during chemotherapy, no detectable cancer. All of this has happened since this summer began. We offer You Great Thanks for Your Healing Word. We will continue to Rejoice and ask Your Blessings on Elliott's wife Harby and their three young children. Elliott would like to have his own stem cell bone marrow transplant. We ask Your Steadfast Love Blessings.

Elliott's wife writes:
We have been so encouraged lately by Elliott’s Myeloma numbers- in a healthy body they are 0. Elliott started above a 7. His last two blood panels have his myeloma numbers undetectable!
The Chemo is WORKING!
It’s doing it’s job and his body is doing exactly what it needs to in order to move towards transplant!!!

Elliott is continuing Chemo every Friday through December. He is continuing to improve daily and his ‘biggest’ complaint is soreness in his back if he’s had a busy day.

Father, like Luke 7 tells us with Jesus and the Centurion, Jesus found faith there. I remember so clearly Elliott saying, " I Will Always Have Jesus. No one will ever take My Jesus from me!" This Wonderful Family.

Father God, We offer You thanks. Thank You. You are still working. You do so much more for us than we ask or imagine.

You have given us Jesus. We Thank You. Amen.

2 Corinthians 4:18 ~ what is unseen is Eternal

2 Corinthians 4:18

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

When we honor our Veterans we frequently say:

John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.

I was having fellowship with some dear ones and they recounted together - we know few men who have laid down their lives. Many have family who have served. And this is a profound Blessing of God. We did lose someone we still remember with honor and cherished memories.

We have many things to remember as we sort through the memories making a beautiful life. Gratitude - my father served during Korea, what he had to say about being in the military: never before had he been so challenged. Never before did he find what he was capable of in diligence and harsh circumstance. Never had he learned such respect for his belongings and care given for the order of these tools. My father was profoundly grateful for this training and lived all his life sorting his things in to precise order he found to make life's paths straighter. We always voted to be in his immaculate car!

My grandfather served as Civilian Air Patrol during World War II and he told my grandmother, the world was orderly and beautiful, our problems small and the Blessing of God apparent. The country needed protection.

My great-grandfather served in his 40s as an Ambulance Driver during World War I. He found the blood shed to be horrendous. And the disregard for what was profound for centuries disregarded by sheer mindless cruelty. He brought back disregarded weapons of the enemy, I think this made him feel better to see enemy weapons abandoned.

Really, mostly we don't have clear ideas in our patchwork memories of war.

Because of the Success of our Veterans. The Blessing not of reluctant fighters hired to drag themselves out, but as our Sermon brought out, we are able in life to grab part of God's Word and apply this to life. Like a Good Song. A recording to hold on to in crisis or comfort in good times. We live by Every Word of God. And find the Name of Jesus to be what Covers us all.

2 Corinthians 4:18 ~ what is unseen is Eternal

War does not cover us, Peace of the Victory surrounds us daily. This is the Day to Thank Our Veterans.

Let's start with Today.

We live where people put out statues. And expect them to survive. Even if these statues are pelicans. Sand castles are displayed expecting to endure in beach towns. Colleges are still open as prices increase - hope is expectant.

Childhood parenting thoughts continue and are more set in the stride of life. We expect a good life for our children.

The busiest travel days are found this time of year to reunite those we Love. Families.

Even the Hallmark channel has clones at least 4 channels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have more Marriages and fewer babies born without the Dad.

We have Praying Increasing with Faith - God Loves me and God Loves you.

We have more people going to Church.

When we think of this, this Makes my DAY, WOW!!!

In Family History this is our child saying until Elementary, "This IS More Betters!!!"

As we go down the street, thanks to Freedom. Freedom paid for. We see civilians saying God brings us safety, future and is our trust. Veterans have won the peace.

Micah 6
Give Justice with Mercy and walk humbly with God.

We believe this, we live this, and we have seen Veterans give this to us - gently.

In Texas, it's chilly, rainy and wet and if you look at this street, in my neighborhood today, you find a dozen flags for Veteran's Day. This is not one individual, this is a Celebration from many. The owners, the neighborhood and a realtor.

Romans 5

7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

This is the portion of the Bible telling us - because we see Jesus and His Light in mankind, because we have faith God is going to continue to carry flawed mankind - we have the temerity, the valor, the prevailing hope in Jesus Christ to make the efforts of Justice pour down like Waters. There has never been a generation were we cooed at all of mankind. We are elevated in our hopes for our families, communities and the world due to our hopes for good in mankind brought about by Jesus.

Valor exists because of Faith, Hope and Love found in Jesus in mankind.

When you've lived for half a century, we can recall - you didn't always do ... THIS. And now if someone rides past you with this, you probably put a smile on in your heart. We Pray Expectantly as a Nation. We Hope. We Believe.

Daniel 12:3.
And they that be wise shall shine
as the brightness of the firmament;
and they that turn many to righteousness
as the stars for ever and ever

When I drive down a neighborhood road on a regular day - I enjoy counting how many flags I will see. When Realtors leave flags, I see my neighbors remove the flag to mow and then replace it and replace it and replace it - where it will eventually be placed next to the door. This isn't Nationalism to be said with gloom. This is in God We Trust. It's not the good bubble of deny "The Opportunities for a Solution" in Real Life - this is rejoicing in the present Blessing of God continuing to the generation unborn. Our Hope and our Future.

We can't say our Flag is like Easter and the Son of God, Jesus Christ. We can say that by the tender mercy of God we have hope that the wilderness of life can be tamed. The Kindness and Light in Mankind will multiply like the fish and the bread a young boy brought Jesus Christ. And in this we find the temerity to have Valor of Hope in a frustrating world. We find Jesus overcomes and we can take a deep breathe and try again. Our God is the lifter of our hopes and He is our Shield. And in the Name of Jesus, He is our hope for glory.

We bring His Light to share for the generations. Every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Jesus Christ, Who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen!!!!!!!

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

A simple blog, scripture-for-today.blogspot

This blog is pretty simple, but for a reason. This blog isn't about agenda or me, it is for the joy and love to found by reading the Scriptures. Ultimately, it is you and the Lord.

The Scriptures are Father God's letter to you. He wanted you to know more, to know He loves you.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
