Romans 12:11 ~ Never give up when zeal is required. Be thoroughly warm-hearted, The Lord's own, serving the Lord enthusiastically.

1970s offstage warm up of Elvis singing, "Oh, Happy Day."
A Perfect Analogy. 2020 Covid Pandemic minds still speaking up in 2021.
Elvis in this Analogy would be Sincere, Clear, Talented, what we are in the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ
and in His Call.

This year we have known those who have lost their loved ones, friends who passed on. Trauma in many families, worries in the people we see. The Hope is to remember what we have been given in the past. Find reason to be Blessed today. Usually, when we suffer great trauma, we need some time to become optimistic in all regards. Worries will take root and make branches of other worries. Instead, be rooted and grounded in Love.

The Comfort of the Holy Spirit is God's Steadfast Love and Mercy. To be able to Love the Lord and find this Joy is our Strength. When we are looking at Jesus explaining the Mission of Father God, we find the echoes of this in Paul writing about the people he has ministered with and ministered to.

Love yourself, Love one another. Heal. God loves us and loves us.

Nothing like the return to Refrigerator Day Art. Love.

Romans 12:11

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Never give up when zeal is required. Be thoroughly warm-hearted,
The Lord's own,
serving the Lord enthusiastically.

John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you Love one another:
just as I have Loved you,
you also are to Love one another.

“Oh the places you'll go! There is fun to be done!
There are points to be scored. There are games to be won.
And the magical things you can do with that ball
will make you the winning-est winner of all.”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!

John 13:35
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have
Love for one another.”

Zechariah 8:17
don't devise evil in your hearts against one another, and Love no false oath,
for all these things I hate, declares the Lord.”

John 15:12
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have Loved you.

1 Corinthians 12:4
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.

John 15:17
These things I command you, so that you will Love one another.

This photo was in the news about 3 years ago,
a man loved the Valentine tree his wife put up every year and helped her do this.
She passed on, he puts this tree together to remember her.
 His neighbors love this tree.

Romans 12:10
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another,
 agree with one another, live in peace;
and the God of Love and peace will be with you.

1 Thessalonians 3:12
and may the Lord make you
increase and abound in Love for one another
and for all, as we do for you

1 Thessalonians 4:9
Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you,
for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another

Ephesians 4:2
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in Love

Romans 13:8

owe no one anything, except to Love each other,
for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Deuteronomy 6:8
Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

2 Thessalonians 1:3
We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right,
because your faith is growing abundantly,
and the
Love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how to stir up one another to Love and good works

1 Peter 1:22
Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth
for a sincere brotherly Love
love one another earnestly from a pure heart

1 Peter 4:8
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since Love covers a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 5:14
Greet one another with the kiss of Love. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

1 John 3:11
For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that
we should love one another.

1 John 3:23
And this is his commandment,
we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ
and Love one another
just as He has commanded us.

1 John 4:7
God Is Love
Beloved, let us love one another, for Love is from God,
and whoever Loves has been born of God and knows God.

1 John 4:11
Beloved,  God so Loved us,
we also ought to Love one another.

1 John 4:11
Beloved, God so loved us,
we also ought to Love one another.

1 John 4:12
No one has ever seen God; if we Love one another
God abides in us and His Love is perfected in us.

Titus 1:8

Hospitable, a Lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy
and disciplined.

2 John 1:5
And now I ask you, dear lady—not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning—that we Love one another.

Abba, Father God,

Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever!  Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

Psalm 34 ~ you His saints

Psalm 34

I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
let the humble hear and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt His Name together!

4 I sought the Lord, and He answered me
and delivered me from all my fears.

5 Those who look to Him are radiant,
and their faces shall never be ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him
and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the Lord encamps
around those who fear him, and delivers them.

8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints,
for those who fear him have no lack!
10 The young lions suffer want and hunger;
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

11 Come, O children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is there who desires life
and loves many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from speaking deceit.

14 Turn away from evil and do good;
    seek peace and pursue it.

15 The Eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and His ears toward their cry.

16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
and delivers them out of all their troubles.

18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

20 He keeps all his bones;
not one of them is broken.
21 Affliction will slay the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

Today, the comment that stuck out to me on reading Facebook was:
"You see, there are still good people out there. Doing what they can. Making the world better."

Jesus said in Lamentations His Mercies Renew Daily. When we look for this:

Matthew 13:44
The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field.
When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy
went and sold all he had and bought that field.

Abba, Father God,

All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing,
Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam!

O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou rushing wind that art so strong
Ye clouds that sail in Heaven along,
O praise Him! Alleluia!

Thou rising moon, in praise rejoice,
Ye lights of evening, find a voice!

Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam!

O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou rushing wind that art so strong
Ye clouds that sail in Heaven along,
O praise Him! Alleluia!

Thou rising moon, in praise rejoice,
Ye lights of evening, find a voice!

Thou flowing water, pure and clear,

Make music for thy Lord to hear,
O praise Him! Alleluia!

Thou fire so masterful and bright,

That givest man both warmth and light.
Dear mother earth, who day by day

Unfoldest blessings on our way,
O praise Him! Alleluia!

1 Thessalonians 5:23
May God himself, the God of peace,
sanctify you through and through.

May your whole spirit, soul and body
be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:21a
hold on to what is good

Deuteronomy 30:19
Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses.
Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.

Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your children might live!

1 Thessalonians 1:4
For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that He has chosen you

1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the Word of God,
which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word,
but as it actually is, the word of God,
which is indeed at work in you who believe.

Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal,
but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

2 Corinthians 1:4
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble
with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

May the Grace of Jesus
give us Joy in our Strength
and Dwell in us to see Blessings Daily.

May Father God help this Nation and world
with Hope. Love and Joy.

We ask for this, for Justice with Mercy.
Elliott's Healing
and all suffering with Covid's aspects to Have His Comfort.

Amen in Jesus Christ.

About scripture-for-today.blogspot.com/

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He has saved all who call upon His name and rely on Him for His Grace. The Scriptures are living & active and are for understanding the Lord Almighty. Biblical readings are chosen from the Ecumenical Christian Church and the Nicene Council, 325 A.D., approved Apocrypha. People remember not just from reading, but by sight and orally- an image has been added as well as audio readings. God tends to link the passages together with fascinates - this blogger, Anne-Laurel Gardere

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
