The Kingdom of Heaven

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.

Luke 19:5

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.”

When Jesus came to the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion,  he said, “Go away."
 
We don't know Jesus' tone. The people leave after being put out.  We can assume the synagogue ruler was in charge of getting them out of the way. You can imagine the ruler wasn't too fussed about moving the laugh ers out of the way because he'd just seen Jesus heal. Not a huge decision of politically correct thought going on there.

John 21:21-24
 When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?” ²² Jesus said to him, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!” ²³ So the saying spread abroad among the brothers that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, “If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?”
 
²⁴ This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true.

We know Jesus was leading by example. And when Jesus looked at Zacchaeus, Jesus was using his inner vision to see what is really there. What Jesus sees as God's Only Son, Messiah, Savior of the world - is His Spirit to see.

The adventure of life to live in expectation of God. The world is a mirror we see dimly through to find Heaven. Our Father is Creator of All Things. He knows the Heavenly Host by name.

Revelation 18a

And all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels most precious

The Tree at the top is from South Africa, the Elephant Rock is from Iceland and, yet, the Tree is like Heaven and a huge Elephant. We see the interweaving of God creating awe and wonder all over the world. Making us see further than we ever could.

When Jesus invited Matthew later to be a Disciple, Jesus saw the real Matthew. Not just the tax collector, Roman, Jewish Thug. Jesus could see. Lord, Father God, open our eyes to see the wonders surrounding us, in Jesus we pray. Amen.

When the woman anointed Jesus with perfume and dried His Feet with her hair, Jesus saw her not as someone to avoid for having guilt or shame. Jesus saw her as generous and filling the Word of God forever because God's Word does not fade. Jesus saw her as a giving and kind-hearted saint. Jesus Christ saw her wearing His White Robes.

Jesus didn't forget the animals and longed to Hold Jerusalem like a Hen and her chicks. Jesus, Wonderful Jesus, said if God takes care of the Sparrows, why not His People?

God sent Jonah a plant to rest and have hope under it's vine leaves. God would surely usually send something we could stay and Love.

When we plant awe and wonder, we have trust in God. 

And in this Trust, God tells us we won't be disappointed.

Romans 4:20-25 

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. 22 That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” 

23 But the words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, 24 but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, 25 who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.

Abba, Father God,

Dwell in us and those we Love, we ask in Jesus' Name.

In seeking You first, we find more that is Beautiful and Joyous.

We find Love.

More, more, more

We ask Agape of Jesus blessings on our families and those we love and admire

and upon their families.

Healing for Elliott and his whole family.

Jesus the Lord

Jesus the Son of God.

Our Redeemer!

Amen!

Our God is working. His Son, 

Jesus is working.

And we say Amen in Jesus.

And in Jesus, to bless, seal and protect

those we Love and for our Churches, Communities

and Employments to have this Jesus

is Heaven

We have something in common with the first century A.D. The Book of Acts. The world was in change, the morality was trying to change, the Empire's values were changing, there was affluence, class division, foreignors were second class or worse.  Weather was strange. All was in change.

Romans 2 tells us we all face our own internal judgments and our own opinions of ourselves.

What will lift your heart is seeing an embittered heart touched by God.
This will grab your heart and lift you for some time.
Even more lifting when this is - your heart!

The Holy Spirit Living in Paul spoke of receiving the Praise of God.

In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me

The INCREDIBLE GOOD NEWS is that JESUS takes our Secrets, our Sins and Covers that with His Innocence. We are washed to become White as Jesus says "I took that Sin far from you. I have given you Life." 

Dr. Young, 2nd Baptist Houston, Texas, said a neighbor woman screaming at him over her Bible to clean up or face hell didn't do a thing for him except to go in the house. His college roommate, Walter, challenged him gently that Dr. Young - a college man - was living exactly as an atheist. Walter said if you CAN KNOW GOD - that's the most precious and important aspect of Life. Eternal Life. And an atheist changed Dr. Young's life.

Abba, Father,

Fear not, for I am with you;

    be not dismayed, for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, 

I will help you,

    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Thank You, You dwell in me.

What is too large,

too broken,

what is hopeful and healing

what requires our kind prayers,

All Things are under the Feet of Jesus Christ

He has the whole world in His Hands

and Heart.

And the healing Elliott will have from You, Jesus Christ. 

What is impossible with mankind

is You

saving the world

in

Jesus Christ.

Psalm 71 ~ In You, O Lord, do I take refuge

My mom has been with a caregiver for almost 5 years, but as the year changed, her health changed and she was put on Hospice. Her caregiver wanted her to be in professional care and didn't want to

stay for her decline.

Psalm 71

 

In You, O Lord, do I take refuge;

    let me never be put to shame!

2 In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me;

    incline your ear to me, and save me!

3 Be to me a rock of refuge,

    to which I may continually come;

you have given the command to save me,

    for you are my rock and my fortress.

4 Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked,

    from the grasp of the unjust and cruel man.

5 For you, O Lord, are my hope,

    my trust, O Lord, from my youth.

6 Upon you I have leaned from before my birth;

    you are he who took me from my mother's womb.

My praise is continually of you.

7 I have been as a portent to many,

    but you are my strong refuge.

8 My mouth is filled with your praise,

    and with your glory all the day.

9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age;

    forsake me not when my strength is spent.

    and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.

until I proclaim your might to another generation,

    your power to all those to come.

19 Your righteousness, O God,

    reaches the high heavens.

You who have done great things,

    O God, who is like you?

20 You who have made me see many troubles and calamities

    will revive me again;

from the depths of the earth

    you will bring me up again.

21 You will increase my greatness

    and comfort me again.

22 I will also praise you with the harp

    for your faithfulness, O my God;

23 My lips will shout for joy,

    when I sing praises to you;

    my soul also, which you have redeemed.

24 And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long,

for they have been put to shame and disappointed

    who sought to do me hurt.

The Story has gone up and down.

We started in Winter and Texas Snowvid, Hospice arrived.

Mother's house had missed the October 2019 16 mile tornadoes by only two blocks. And then her trees suddenly needed to have help from the high winds and Snowvid. 

And as Mother left for Hospice Professional and Managed care at Monticello West, she went in like a little lamb. Mother had not wanted to die at home with non-professional medical people. She began her retirement Long-Term Insurance in 1994. When she left her home to enter managed care, we later got a phone call asking us how she transferred so easily. This was a great Gift of God, but He had placed this on her heart, and in His Plan much earlier.

One of the things I discovered in the early March lamb going of my mother, were the Iris my grandmother had in her yard, from her own mother and, now, I'd remembered them and brought them to my house.

Mother had always loved to make her front flower bed and backyard beautiful. I realized as we started week 2 in early, early March, the front bed was going to have to be planted by Edward and me.

Working in the garden one minute and then getting a call to attend to her 

records the next. One minute you're in the front yard, with gloves on, and the next you are surprised to find her bank is on the 18th floor.

One of the nice things for all the weeks we had put in arranging Mother's house to move

was the meeting of her neighbors. They had banded together during Snowvid and told us about her years, as her neighbor, when Mother loved to go all over Dallas.

Mother was from the generation whereby her collections have collections, they have spawned. One minute you are up to the business of sorting and the next finding a birthday gift from 1980. Tears. Then today, I found a necklace from her vacation of 1977. She has 20 billion plates and 947 glasses. Table linens for 125. And just as we found more work to do, I find something beautiful and my heart is moved. When we are in week 14 of massive work.

The good portion of help from Hospice has been the phone calls every 2 days,  Mother has forgotten how to work a phone. And with the traveling to Dallas we see her once a week.

But then after the sorting and moving had happened in phase one, we began to do things like paint and have tile put down.

 

God is our refuge. Even when all looks bleak.  And Father God Helps.

After a surprise 3-day trip, we got to come home and have a change of clothing.

Update late today

We all prayed about this. Thank you for your prayers.

And sent a detailed text explaining to the corrupt tile man, that my brother and I were not going to pay the charges and instead present the tiler with his team broke the lock and locksmith bill and 2nd plumber bill, with the no $1g membrane  because this would not be a cause for an additional one grand beyond the quote. It's extortion.

Faced with the attorney and the bills, the tiler said, "Never mind." (On his bogus mechanical lien for a false bill.)

Why we suddenly faced a Mechanic's Lien and God Helped Justice Prevail.

The Tiler met the Painter who has knocked himself out for us for a year. Our Painter fixes everything. We call him Bruce Wayne. Bruce fixes sidewalks, fences, paints, lights, installs washer, dryers and chandeliers.  Suddenly, the demeanor of the tiler and crew changed. It became incredibly hostile.

The toilet was broken from the back and the front. Water valve turn off smashed and parts removed. Bruce Wayne discovered next to the toilet, the door lock was broken and, voilà, he repaired this when a 20-year prior locksmith told us this would be the end of the door. Not today, mean tiler group, not today.  Not even when they left the broken door open 3 inches overnight after the smashed lock, and smashed toilet parts. Not today, mean tiler group, not today.

The tiler called to say that Bruce had quit and to pay before the job was complete. Completely astonished at the attack and the lie, I said no, he's standing here with me.

When the bill arrived, our surly tiler group had added on an extra thousand beyond the quote. Turns out the reason for the entire happy group changing into a very surly group was because Bruce Wayne found out they had not installed the thousand dollar membrane and had gone with the regular soft glue instead.

We received a phone call, that was just basic extortion saying pay or a mechanic's lien.

From Ghoulies and ghosties and long legged beasties - Good Lord deliver us!!!

May the Lord Bless us and Keep us and His Face Shine upon us

God Bless us to recover from the Pandemic. And when we are in our usual routine or out and about, 

Keep us in His Heart. Even when the Post comes from the phone and not the usual, beloved routine.

We remember Psalm 139, we always have Abba, our Father, dwelling within, making us joyful remembering He is with us. Pleased and encouraging as we simply Love Jesus.

The Light of the world. The Light of mankind, putting a Hope and Future again in us and quelling 

Any restless fussing. Be with those comfortably home. Be with those in grief and changed circumstances. Fill us with Your Love overflowing and renew us to be comforting others.

May the Love God is, being you and keep you in His Joy.

Amen in the Highest Name of Jesus.

The Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do, 18 seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring to Abraham what he has promised him.” 20 Then the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave, 21 I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, I will know.”

22 So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. 23 Then Abraham drew near and said, “Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it? 

25 Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! 

Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?” 

26 And the Lord said, “If I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

27 Abraham answered and said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes. 28 Suppose five of the fifty righteous are lacking. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?” 

And he said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.” 29 Again he spoke to him and said, “Suppose forty are found there.” 

He answered, “For the sake of forty I will not do it.” 

30 Then he said, “Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak. Suppose thirty are found there.” He answered, “I will not do it, if I find thirty there.” 

31 He said, “Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord. Suppose twenty are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of twenty I will not destroy it.” 

32 Then he said, “Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there.” 

He answered, “For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.” 

33 And the Lord went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham, 

and Abraham

 returned to his place.

God Loves You.

Psalm 103:15-17

      

As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field; 

when the wind passes over, 

it vanishes, 

and

 its place remembers it no more.

 But from everlasting to everlasting the Loving devotion of the LORD 

extends to those who fear Him, and 

His righteousness 

to their children’s children

Mankind could achieve only a vacant place, where its place knows it no more.

Father God's mission is to save the world in Jesus Christ. He is our Salvation. And God's mercy is the same in the Old Testament, remaining His Steadfast Love in the New Covenant.

Jesus continues the discussion of Abraham expecting God to be Love. Jesus boldly proclaimed before the Pharisees, and the children of God: Before Abraham, Jesus was there.

Luke 18 

 And He told them a parable to the effect that they ought 

always to pray 

and not lose heart. 

2 He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. 3 And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ 

4 For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” 

6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. 7 And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 

8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. 

Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

Luke 23:34 

 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” 

We do not presume to come to this thy Table, O merciful Lord, trusting in our own righteousness, but in thy manifold and great mercies. We are not worthy so much as to gather up the crumbs under thy Table. But thou art the same Lord, whose property is always to have mercy: Grant us therefore, gracious Lord, so to eat the flesh of thy dear Son Jesus Christ, and to drink his blood, that our sinful bodies may be made clean by his body, and our souls washed through his most precious blood, and that we may evermore dwell in him, and he in us. Amen.

When we think of God's overwhelming Grace and Mercy. 

We could delve into God's Word, Abraham speaking of the number of souls to have mercy upon, and remember, God might see this as the number of days in our lives we would ask for His Mercy. The days we all have in life, we regret.  And remember that one day, we are aware of Jesus seeing into our souls. Because of the Overwhelming Love Jesus has for you.

Romans 10:9 

 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord 

and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, 

you will be saved.

Mark 12:27
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 

 

Isaiah was a visitor of Almighty Father God's Eternal Kingdom unto His Throne. Isaiah 49 tells us there are Highways, Hills and Nations. God tells us in Revelation of His Love of Color. Nations and Nations in Heaven.

The Creator of Heaven and Earth are One.

 The Earth displays His Majesty in New Zealand and across China

Not all roads in Heaven need gravity

Abba, Father God,

Dwell in us and help us

to always seek You first.

To be filled with Your Love, and see Your Glory.

The Wonders of Your Way.

 Your Scriptures and in Your Power, every one of us will bow at the Name of Jesus.

Jesus, You appeared in the Power of the Grace of God offering Salvation to us all.

 In every Nation. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. 

And this is Your free gift to us.

Father, You want all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 

Faith calls us to Trust in You.

You have planned eternal life, we will know You the only true God, 

and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

We have a hope in You, there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust. 

Freedom in Jesus. 

Father God will render to each one of us according to our life, choices and faith. 

You will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will not be Heaven.

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven 

given higher than Jesus.

We pray as we face eternity we have told with great effect the name of Jesus - that our families in Heaven not only include our blood families - but include the nobility - the true nobility is those who look to Father God knowing He Loves us. And we will be for us in Jesus Christ.

 We pray for our Nation.

We pray for the healing of God's Good Creation after the Pandemic.

We pray for our families to have Peace.

And pray for Elliott to heal.

Please Bless our prayers for this Nation.

Thank You for the Privilege of going to Church today. Thank You, Jesus.

Father Bless our States and employment.

Bless the State Legislatures and our entire Nation.

May our Prayers go incredibly High, Wide and Far.

Covering Your Good Creation.

Watch over us as we are spending days and weeks out of town

working for our very ill Mothers. Both.
