Romans 8:28 ~ work

In Texas, it's that Season.

We begin the gasp of not really autumn. Looking at glorious May and June photos, realize, with Hurricanes exactly mid-way of the season, and, in the sub-tropics of Houston, --- hope to hang on. New beginnings for the children. Tired of the news. Dry or overly flood weather. Not the crisp colors of, usually, the East Coast. This is a work-to-be cheerful season, for All of Us.

We can find Good News.

We see Jesus suffered profoundly for us and died.
And we wonder today about the passion surrounding Jerusalem and even our families. The Pandemic Brain.

Jesus prayed for us, a profound prayer in John 17
The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

And apparently, in John 21, we have conflict over suffering,
Redeemed Jesus seeking reconciliation. Peter grousing over John's fate.

The work of the cross working immediately. Jesus telling us He is still at work.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things "work" together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Look at the Old Testament and what drew men of all backgrounds and personalities to God:

Micah 4:3
He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

Abraham gathered blessings and mercy for others. This is what drew him to God. Father of Nations. Abraham felt God should be merciful, asking God to spare mankind. And earned the blessing of the millenniums. God's attitude on mercy.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

Jacob fought God all of his days for a Blessing and sought to bless his children and grandsons. God granted Jacob the blessing, all of his days. As Jacob believed he lived the blessings of God.

Moses wanted justice for the people he felt were abandoned. God provided more than justice, and the slaves left with their former masters' gold and jewelry. God guarded them tenderly.

Eli wanted God's Words to be fulfilled. He wanted Hannah to be blessed. And Samuel to hear. Eli lived to see all of God's Word fulfilled.

Samuel mourned (not his sons continuing Judges but Saul and his duty to God to anoint David). Like the Prodigal Father - He longed to run to his son and have that embrace.

Nathan saw God loves like a Shepherd. Tenderly caring in love. Nathan cared for David as a witness to Love all their lives. Not Gad, who did a job thundering away.

Elijah was pressed to the wall in famine, unbelief and war. He believed God. Listening to the reassuring small voice - "God had not forgotten him."

Elisha saw the measure of Elijah's faith endure and carry him through hardship. He began seeing the blaze of Elijah revealing God's glory, in a time of abundance as Ahab was defeated. The joys of the world were not going to overcome his faith.

Jonah mourned a plant - not even caring for the repentant. Jonah had no root in himself but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.

Isaiah jumped into serving GOD with glee. He got his feet wet in Uzziah's reign and lived joyously bringing the Good News of faith in the LORD let the people to hear, understand, see and perceive, the heart of the people worked tirelessly to be turned and healed. King Hezekiah's faith brought the prosperity of God to bring faith in placing HIM first. Isaiah's willingness was a forerunner of "behold the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."

Jeremiah wanted to be left alone. Well, unfortunately for Jeremiah - he was left alone. And God grew him. Jeremiah began in the most glorious of religious reigns reviving the Temple and discovering the forgotten Word of GOD. Jeremiah gave God's prophecies, enduring ridicule, and lived to see the Word fulfilled, immediately. He lived to see an abandoned Jerusalem have peace.

Ezekiel believed better times were coming during war. He knew God would show up when their righteousness was gone. He trusted God to be merciful to them.

Habakkuk cried out for help so loudly, insistently with expectation. God answered.

Luke 7:31

To what, then, can I compare
the men of
this generation?

What are they like?
32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to one another:
‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’

Revelation 7:9

After this I looked,
and there before me was a great multitude
that no one could count,
from every nation, tribe, people and language,
standing before the throne
and
before the Lamb.

I've heard two people give me amazing participation in the Holy Spirit. One person explained earnest prayer is given at night, every new day Jesus makes all things new. As prayer is made with tremendous Love and complete expectation.

Another person told me in Bible Study, they feel how much Jesus Christ loves them daily and want to participate. And this person went on to pray for us all to have this discernment. To know the Love Jesus has for us, makes us want others to have this in their lives daily.

Almost all people who dream of Heaven and see the Gates of Heaven, fixed into the walls of Heaven = looking into the inside - (Revelation reveals Living Stones of many colors) report the walls of Heaven walking up to Heaven are this color.

The same color as the Temple in Jerusalem. Even the people who did not know this, report this color. The walls of Heaven sit up on a hill. Looking up to walk to the Gates of Heaven.

Psalms 91:14-16 ~ My Salvation

Psalms 91:14-16

Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him securely on high,
because he has known My name.

He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.

With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My Salvation.

The prayers God answers and those He turns to His Own Plan.

Abraham prayed to save a town of sinners to have God's Mercy. He even dared to count. Abraham prayed when his son, he forced upon a slave, messed with the Plan of God and this son would have God's favor.

Hannah prayed, when she was the second wife, to a man who had been married longer to another more sarcastic, hateful woman - to be fruitful.

David prayed for his son, before Solomon, to live. Even as David was told his son would die, David asked for God's Mercy and had the policy of praying with Hope for Life. Hope while Life endures.

Gideon didn't believe God entirely and asked for God to return and prove this prayer again. And so did Abraham and Samson's parents.

Mary asked Jesus to give up His Ministry and come home safely with her and her sons. And this was after seeing Gabriel years earlier.

Jairus went to find Jesus, as Synagogue Worker, to have Jesus heal his daughter who had died. He was so filled with Hope, Jairus allowed hope after being told his child was dead.

The blind men cried on to Jesus when they were told to be quiet.

Jesus told us we'd see Him as an Unrighteous Judge, to continue to pray with Hope. David prayed when his infant son was dying for life. Abraham wasn't righteous enough to ask for Ishmael. Hannah's marriage wasn't modeled after Abraham and Sarah, whew, or Isaac and Rebekah. Modeled more like Jacob's marriages. Not what we hope for our children.

And then we are told with faith, we move the Hand of God. Who was willing to live with us and be Grace upon Grace. The Hand of God.

And we read about the Promises of Faith and Prayer.

Matthew 7:7-11
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. "Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?

Luke 11:9-13
So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. "Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?

Matthew 21:22
"And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

John 14:13-14
Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it."

John 15:7
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

John 15:16
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

Psalms 91:14-16
Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. "With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation.

Psalms 50:14-15
Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving And pay your vows to the Most High; Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.

Psalms 10:17
O LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear

Exodus 22:22-23
You shall not afflict any widow or orphan. "If you afflict him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will surely hear his cry"

Psalms 102:19-20
For He looked down from His holy height; From heaven the LORD gazed upon the earth, To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To set free those who were doomed to death,

Isaiah 41:17
The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none, And their tongue is parched with thirst; I, the LORD, will answer them Myself, As the God of Israel I will not forsake them.

2 Chronicles 7:14
and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Ezekiel 36:37
Thus says the Lord GOD, "This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock.

Zechariah 10:6
I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph, And I will bring them back, Because I have had compassion on them; And they will be as though I had not rejected them, For I am the LORD their God and I will answer them.

Zechariah 13:8-9
It will come about in all the land," Declares the LORD, "That two parts in it will be cut off and perish; But the third will be left in it. "And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, 'They are My people,' And they will say, 'The LORD is my God.'"

1 John 3:22
and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

Mark 11:24
Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.

1 John 5:14
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

Matthew 18:19
Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.

Jesus is the door or gate of the Sheep.

Shushan, Eastern, Sheep, Beautiful Gate for the Messiah

We will be like Jesus and go with our prayer conversations with Abba, Father, exactly in the forthright manner the Saints of the Bible called on Abba. The Lord's Prayer says His Will be done.

And considering the active prayer life of so many, and the honesty of the Scriptures, we will let Father God have our trust. Knowing the Word of God is Love, Encouragement and True. The Way will go forth with Hope and in His Future.

Abba, Father God,

John 15

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain
in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.

Now remain in my love.

10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends,
for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

To live in Your Grace and Mercy
Knowing to put down the worries that were pointless and fruitless in the past.

In Jesus Christ, to have Your Grace and go forth. Forgiven of old worries.

To press on to Seek You First.
To daily include and invite, You, to dwell in me.
And in those I love, the people God has given me.
And be grateful.

To forgive those who have given Judgement, as I have judged.
To be wiser, to rejoice.
Rejoice in faith, hope and Love and not be tossed by my doubts
and not tossed by doubts of others.
Hold tightly to Jesus Christ daily.

To be Blessed to ask more Heaven on earth.
To find more Heaven on earth.
Be more Heaven on earth.

To pray for good health for us all
As we pray for all of us in Covid, with our concerns
and the worries of others. So many people have allergies, colds,
coughs and sneezing without Covid. RSV.
Believing, this is sympathy of the world for
one another.

The Lord Jesus as we remember Prophetic miracles.
The hopes we put in knowing of Miracles of Yours
and Prayer moving Your hand.

We pray for those who are ill
and asked for prayer. Covering them
in the Willingness of Jesus.

Keep us in Jesus,
This Republic, the people of the Republic.
The world needing kindness and a hope
of peace from this hugely stressful season.

This will turn out well,
we have read the Last Page of the Bible and this ends well.

Our Governors and Legislatures for help and wisdom.
Giving Thanks to those keeping Mercy and Justice.
Let's agree in prayer, Pandemic
causes willy-nilly barbarism brain thoughts that end.
And we pray Jesus for go faster, please.
He understands.
We arrive in prayer just as we really are.

Keeping the joyful thought of Eighty percent of
people pray. And not worrying too much about this poll
or that poll. God forgives the sin of our youth, and
knowing the Church has always welcomed
those of years in the pews for a long time.
God doesn't worry too much about the people who Pray.
His Love is flowing, now, for us
and the people who will come to a prayer and faith life.
His Mercy Renews Daily.

Thank God,
Thank God,
Thank Jesus.
Amen with prayer in Jesus
and Your Righteousness.
Please Availeth this one much.
Amen.

Hebrews 13 ~ Let Brotherly Love Continue

Hebrews 13

1 Let brotherly love continue.

The Word of God records the fellowship of the Disciples and the Family of Jesus Continues.

2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Paul certainly records with Luke that angel visitations happened.  Even in Prison, Jesus was there to lead, comfort and guide and heal.

3 Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.

4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Peter was not un-married, nor did Jesus ever ask him to be single. The men and sisters-in-law of Jesus all traveled to bring the Good News.

5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?”

Jesus was seen to be the Love and the Promises. The Word of Life.

7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Paul wanted Governor Felix to know Jesus. Felix was to suffer the loss of his family when Pompeii was destroyed. Paul's gift of Jesus is lasting.

9 Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. 10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat.

The least popular teaching of Jesus was to eat His Body and drink His Blood. Today we rely upon the Grace of Jesus in Communion. His Disciples bravely continued in what Jesus had told them to teach.

11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. 12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. 13 Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.

Jesus changes lives. The men hid and then with multitudes, praised the Eternal Victory of Jesus.

14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.

The House of Jesus has many rooms.

15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Thank You, Father God for the Love Jesus has for us today.

17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Beloved, let us love one another for Love is of God. This is the Commandment of Jesus.

18 Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. 19 I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order that I may be restored to you the sooner.

Father, help us to live the way, the truth, the Life Jesus wants for us. Amen.

20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead

our Lord Jesus,
the great shepherd of the sheep,
by the blood of the eternal covenant,
21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will,
working in us [you] that which is pleasing in his sight,
through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

2 Corinthians 1:20
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.

22 I appeal to you, brothers, [brothers and sisters] hear with my word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly. 23 You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon.

24 Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who come from Italy send you greetings. 25 Grace be with all of you.

Amazing things … Paul believed and wrote about. His promises were all complete even after Jesus Christ returned to Heaven. Paul believes the same things that happened to Abraham 2-3,000 years ago,  still occurs.

Some of the most important points in this chapter - the promises of God toward those who have preached the Good News. Paul is saying we can recall God has rewarded those individuals who have believed, lived and preached the good news. And in my life, I can say I do remember the reward of those who have believed. Sometimes seriously unhappy things have occurred to those preaching the Good News, but not permanent things to eternity. Just as Hebrews tell us, they have not been permanently flattened:

Hebrews 11:32-40

32 And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets— 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. 35 Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. 36 Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— 38 of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Proverbs 24:16
for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again,
but the wicked are brought down by calamity.

Revelations 3:5
He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels.

We are correct to pray for each other and our spiritual leaders. May Father God equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us [you] that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Father GOD,

I would love to feel not dizzy ever again from my ears or my eyesight. That would be lovely.

Bless us to have a Life of the Fruit of Your Holy Spirit that we will please You Father and find the Joy that was Yours so well. Dwell in us, please and help us in seeking You first, to find Your Blessings each day. Help us to finish well.

We pray for this Nation in Jesus and His Good Creation.  Amen.

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
