At Easter, we found the terrible Pandemic was beginning to slow down. The Peak was coming down pretty quickly. Not coincidentally, Easter is about Life.

This is Pentecost. The week the Disciples found the Holy Spirit gave them Courage. This is 50 days from finding Jesus Christ Lives. It's a cultural day. The people witnessing the Renewal of God's Holy Spirit in His Magnificence, speak different languages and come from differing cultures.

Not coincidentally, this is Pentecost. When decisions are reached about the Holy Spirit.

Joshua 24:15

Within 16 years of the death of Jesus Christ and His Life, Emperor Claudius began to kill Christians for saying Jesus is King and Son of God. From 46 A.D. until 325 A.D. persecution sometimes persisted. From belief and an idea. The amazing fact we have Scriptures in our hand today is the work of faith and of prayer.

The Challenge this Pentecost is to believe The Holy Spirit would be pleased for us to join together as we watch these demonstrations - to pray for God's Spirit to hold them to Him in Love. To change the atmosphere of every soul to realize what is needed is our Father God. To ask God for His Miraculous Holy Spirit.

It's just flat impossible for a Jewish man born out of wedlock in the Suburb of Syria to be Alive Today. There is no way His Church exists 2,000 years later. How would we know? We have the written record of Him telling us this from the first/early second century records of Papyrus 46 held intact by the University of Michigan. 300 Intact Chapters of The Scriptures.

The personal Challenge of this Pentecost is to believe your prayers are heard by Father God for Love and Encouragement of His Holy Spirit. The personal Challenge of Pentecost is to believe your prayers join with others praying for the rioters. For the Police held in crowds during Covid-19. For the unfortunate caught in the path. To pray for the people conned into a riot. To pray for those rioting not to fall desperately ill and create another Hot Spot. Praying for the people who love their communities and want the scar to be healed on the land and on the people.

We will pray Love prevails and not fear.

Romans 5:8

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus, please.

We witness Horrible Actions. We pray for the Holy Spirit to make Love live in these souls.

Ezekiel 37:5-6

This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: "I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.  I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. 

Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

We see undeserving people with cruel actions.

1 John 4:10

And love consists in this:

not that we loved God, but that He loved us

and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

We know many, many are praying, don't sink into despair, Hope in God our Father. Hope in Jesus.

Romans 8:31

What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Jesus, please.

When we feel discouraged, we will fight on in the Good Fight to Pray with all Expectation of God's Righteousness. Even if the number of angry people is overwhelming. God knows us all.

Isaiah 40:26

Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these?

He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name;

by the greatness of His Might

and because He is strong in power,

not one is missing.

We feel sorrow for the Police and the National Guard and pray for their health during Covid-19. We pray for the parents of the rioters and their family and children. We pray for the souls who will have sorrow for their actions today. We pray for God's Love to bring softer hearts and wisdom. We pray for the innocent to be safe. We pray God to fight the Battle.

We pray that as fears increase, we will stay strong. And in strong emotion, have deliberate compassion and prayer. Determination of faith. We will ask Jesus to help us Stand Firm.

Going to the store, grocery, this early evening, I saw worried people. People wanted to see kind faces. Faces were really being searched in a trying-not-to-look-way. I felt compassion and saw people asking others where to find things and being diligently helped. Strangers laughed with sincerity to help one another and find compassion.

On the way home, a turn only right on to a road was halted. The driver couldn't decide where to go. (Not the freeway, a regular road.) The couple carefully signalled to change lanes several times. It was a younger, mixed race couple. The Couple was worried and distracted and speaking kindly to each other.

Next, we were in a 15 car traffic jam going, 31 mph in a 45 mph Speed Limit. People are concerned everywhere.

Abba, our Father,

Jesus Christ Himself be with us all.
We know He will be and hear all of our Prayers.

Be at peace among yourselves.

 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.  See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.  Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

 Do not quench the Spirit.  Do not despise prophecies,  but test everything; hold fast what is good. 

Abstain from every form of evil.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

When you closely observe people, actions define them. Finding Joy in life is to find the focus. Finding the Light of Jesus in people is going to lead to the path of the Holy Spirit. Fruitfulness.

When the Riot started
There was sheer rage. And in typical riots, the criminal element is going to push those taking selfies and having entertainment to do horrendous acts and be caught in being in the wrong place and, perhaps, seriously injured or seriously charged with crimes. (The criminal element is going to throw the lesser criminal to the ground and escape. This is not a team sport.)

By the third night, people had done some deciding and gone home earlier. And parents put teens in cars to be safe, you could tell they'd been told to,"Stay-in-the-car!" Not a bad idea, but daytime is better. In fact, younger ones were earlier, and older ones were late. (So old and so late, we wondered what will happen with Covid-19 to this amount of astonishing lack of self-motivation in health.)

By the fourth night, people are exhausted from hate, yelling, screaming, setting fires and acting up. And so - the crowd was a different age, different race and in a different mood. Frankly, different. In fact, so different trash bins were set on fire. Why? This crowd didn't want to go to Federal Prison for Domestic Terrorism!

This Crowd is Thinking.


So,  we are seeing a real reaction - let's think together:

Rudy Giuliani - Attorney, Major of NYC, and United States Associate Attorney General says looking at this - it's Murder One by Derek Chauvin and Murder charges for the depraved indifference for the 3 other policemen. (He is, frankly, surprised they weren't charged day One.) These 4 Protect and Serve Policemen are "clearly" caught on 2 separate Video phones for the crowd pleading to not murder George Floyd - we are seeing outrage for correctly applied - ineptitude - from Minneapolis.

This set of police in Minneapolis is - inept. They have rogue police officers who aren't afraid to be filmed doing "murder". They do not contain the crowd or inspire the crowd. This police group is not, not, not, not led to do the purpose with efficiency.

Frankly, 4 days of riots asking for Justice - when Justice is the Police purpose, other than "protecting and serving" the people seeing murderous police - is just awful. They need 3 new Officiers reorganizing the Minneapolis Police Department. We need to see Police protecting and serving when we have all seen 2 phone videos of - plain murder. With 4 complicit murderous, guilty, terrible police men led by inept Police led by 3 leading officials of that police department.

We need Solutions and - not - fruitless harm.

Power does not come from a husband beating a wife. Power does not come from a wife beating the children. This Nation is a collective Family.  Solutions come from "Praying, Thinking and Proper Conduct."

I know, we can all imagine the scene of someone coming home from endangering the family, as a whole, from Riots and Rioting. You think violence in the street doesn't lead to violence in the HOME? Violence makes more Violence. "Maintain the DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY."

STOP. Do not participate in VIOLENCE.

Have signs saying what you want. Try to be a teacher and not a reactionist. Lead Change in your life.

Why Not Ask For a New System?

When someone swears to "Protect and Serve", they aren't actually a regular citizen. Why not try them in a Higher Branch Court. The Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG Corps) is the branch or specialty of a military concerned with military justice and military law. Officers serving in a JAG Corps are typically called Judge Advocates. ... They also serve as prosecutors for the military when conducting courts-martial. JAG law allows a complete and thorough personal History.

Derek Chauvin has been cited 19 times. And this is sealed. Not in JAG Court. His actions are going to be "JUDGED" in JAG Court.

Leavenworth Military Prison typically has much longer sentences. And a policeman is not going to be shanked. Mercy and Justice. Military Court has a tremendous ability and goals for smooth and sincere Justice. Fair and not biased.

The Military is just huge on obedient orders. Rank and file sheer obey.

It appears, to us all, police conduct is in Critical lack of approval. And has a huge reaction nationwide. If we want this to be out of police jurisdiction - ask for a Specific Change. Probably much more effective than spraying rude words on walls.

Abba, Holy God our Father,

Thank God we have You. We need Jesus to be in us all.
Giving us the ability to see Jesus in each other.

And right now, we need to see More Jesus, Please.

Speak Your Healing Word, we will have more Heaven upon earth.

We pray Covid-19 doesn't eat us all up and the Chinese see we act like Rational People.

Help us to see our Blessings and believe You are going to Provide More Willing Blessings.

Help us to seek You first and Your Kingdom.
We need more Heaven, whew we do.

Thanksgiving to God is never wasted. Hope is not only a positive influence on us every moment we can genuinely employ Faith. Historically, we can trust trouble will occur and in the overcoming we find Optimism, Faith and Hope keep us Alive.

Senses versus sensationalism. More is at work than George Floyd. We have heard the complaints during the Pandemic of ridiculous freedoms being entailed. We have seen fights over masks - in a Pandemic! It's not been widely reported about the solutions. I listened last week to one weary in striving to make a living, "Solutions are childish, we need trade offs."

So we really want to hear all of our problems displayed without the hope of a better next month? If we don't focus on what is working and build up our strength, we will Weaken. Ministry is the example of the Posts, the last two days about the wonders of Jesus Christ. His ancestry is flawed. His Disciples lack faith. Circumstances move against Him. And the reply from the Word of God isn't something so sweet we can't hold on to it with rational faith. All things are interweaving:

And we know that all things "Interweave" together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.



God tells us, rather unbelievably, we sulk to learn, to focus on God and Love Him. In our rational minds, we wonder if God believes still in lambs and goats and turtledoves being offered. Because there is so much we touch upon and we wonder if God is there. And we find God is wise.

Where are we going to put our focus?

If we look at Pandemic, we find ourselves in fact finding mode. We entrust our senses to finding what is sensational and not find the solutions. Solutions are real. Trade offs are the sacrifices of goodness life requries us to make. To give up hope is applauded as realistic. And alcoholism is 1 in 3 adults. If we are going to applaud a lack of hope - we are going to find ourselves - hopeless.

The man who broke the window at Ace Hardware was photoed, videos taken and reported by the crowd with him. One cheerful quasi-rioter was horrified to learn rocks had been thrown 'at the police', no way. Local news found him finding out. (The other rioter with him was more goat ish.) When Target was looted, one brave bystander stood and took videos of the looters. Knock, Knock. We want the lamps back. Mr Rogers still sees the Helpers. (Can you imagine being the one filming the looting inside Target. Note to self: increase bravery.) PS, Target took a few videos, too.

Anger is one thing. Violence another. 3 A.M Lake Street saw violent people getting away quickly from The National Guard. Thank You, National Guard, for making sure people can dwell in safety through the night and day without fire.

Mayor Simmons, Greenville, MS

Last week, Greenville police officers issued $500 tickets to drive-in church attendees at Temple Baptist Church and threatened the action at King James Baptist Church.

Mayor Simmons said the actions came as a result of Governor Tate Reeves’ statement on a conference call that drive-in services would not work because “people of faith like to fellowship” .


Outlining the steps he and the City Council took as the city sought to follow CDC guidelines and the Governor’s shelter-in-place order, Simmons said faith was at the center of his administration but a “smear campaign” was begun against him and the city, calling it “unacceptable and reprehensible.”

Mayor Simmons said he and his family have had threats on their life following the incidents.

“These incidents have been taken out of context,” Simmons said. “This is not a time to play politics. This is not a time to inflame unprecedented and challenging times with unnecessary attacks and false narratives.”

Mayor Simmons said the city will not be requiring anyone issued a citation to pay the fines.
