The Wind Blows where it will. You hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

40 days, Moses was on the mountain with God, twice - Exodus 24:18, Exodus 34:28-29
40 days, the spies of Moses (God did not ask for) looked at the promised land - Numbers 13:25
40 years, the children of Israel wandered after not seizing the promised land - Numbers 14:33
40 days Goliath mocked Israel - 1 Samuel 17:16
40 days, Elijah strengthened by one angelic meal went to Mount Horeb where the Lord passed by and he heard the voice of God - 1 Kings 19:8
40 days to repent, Jonah warned the City of Nineveh until God would overthrow the city.
40 days the people repented in those 40 days and God spared the city - Jonah 3:4
40 days Jesus fasted in the wilderness - Matthew 4:1-2
40 days Jesus was seen on earth after His crucifixion - Acts 1:3

Matthew 11: 25-30

At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. 

 27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 

 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Last night, in a truly unhidden way - we prayed over all the difficult news of an incredible year. Unlike 1918, the world isn't involved in World War. As the BBC releases studies of Covid affecting the brain, we realize overreactions and outrageous news is rampant.

The Children of God believe God Himself is in charge. 

And we all need to have regard for loving ourselves. We keep our minds alert and resolve God's help and Blessing upon the renewal of our minds. Opening our soul and heart for Jesus to be strength in our Lives.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

The Spiritual, the imperishable, the mind

The brain with many emotions and memories and the heart being willing to have affection and Love - we find the new ideas of having a mind palace intersect our physical living spaces. Cross over into delighting the heart with new paths and Beauty.

Small changes have powerful impact. Hope.

For example,

As we look at the beauty of the changing seasons, we find Autumn Gardens are very easy. Like early spring.

Consider a seed. A field needing attention. And the placing of a few items. Beauty. Peace. Hope.

Prayer.

Seems like this was happening as we saw the world applaud the helpers. We weren't tired of Pandemic and getting busier. In fact, one of the largest selling items on eBay were crosses. 

Now, Crosses are selling in a big way on eBay -  again. That's right, people are holding on to the Cross of Jesus Christ.

If Crosses are making a full scale come back, we won't doubt Prayer is going on as well. So many times Jesus carried the burden and faith was Spoken and the Word of God changed Lives. 

We would all like life to be a lighter burden on us all. 

Jesus gave us ideas as He healed. Go and see the priest. Go to the Pool of Siloam (Sent). Walk to the wilderness. Have a little faith. The deaf are healed in quiet places with renewed time with Jesus. Have Jesus to your house. Go where Jesus asks you to go. Do not be afraid, Jesus is with you.  Pick up your pallet - an everyday chore. Walk. Abraham was called to move far away. Naaman was called to travel far away and go and do something he could have done at home. All of these people were obedient to the call of God in their lives.

Lent - Expect and Prepare for God to do His Mighty Work. 

We expect God. We give up certain things. We do more of other actions. We find Good Works. What if we all decided to chose something pleasing to God and we do this to prepare a place of expectation in our hearts for God's Wondrous, Answered Prayers.

This is the same garden (life) we've had, now we just look at the Seasons to see what God is saying and providing. We view life with opportunity to pray and to find God Himself.

The Scriptures challenge us many times to find ourselves doing something new for God and our look out for 40 days.

Suppose you decide you are called to pray every time the news is upsetting. Jesus, the people you love are in a mess - please create calm, peace, hope and Love.  Father God, I need more quiet time - I will walk. Father God I know my family is lonely, I will pledge to call even for 3 or 4 minutes more regularly. Jesus the Lord, I know someone in my family is struggling to be calm, I will give more assurance and be more diligent at being peaceful.  Our prayers and our sacrifices of ice cream or something else, will encourage us to understand and focus this is important to us. Our diligence creates more answered prayers and more God opportunities.

Every time we view hate, we pray for the people we see and for the people we don't see in trouble. And we will recall the beginning of this good work all over the world, with all the hard work and prayers we would ever hope for.

Hebrews 12:12 -13 

Therefore strengthen your limp hands, lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, 13 Make straight paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

Mary is recorded being at the feet of Jesus 3 times.

Jesus confidently is on The Path - The way, the truth and the Life. 

Jesus tells us in His Word, when we pray at the feet of Jesus, He hears us.

Today, Jesus is working. Jesus encountered a great number of howling, angry, incredible spirits. Jesus didn't give sermons about this. Jesus Christ, Son of God, didn't point fingers. Jesus our Lord God's Only Son did not give an open microphone to all that was wrong in His walking path of Grace upon Grace. Instead, Jesus had the howling, ugly part of life to Be Quiet very deliberately. 

And Jesus proceeded to find healing, prayer, inner peace, Joy and give Love to generations and millenniums.

We can confidently...

Overcome Trouble. 

With prayer. Holding fast to Jesus. I put out my Easter cross  in my yard - the Cross  is the Passover to me. We pray asking John's Gospel Chapter 17, Jesus prays with us. We Overcome with Jesus as our strength in His Word.

A new light, well-placed, makes us see new horizons.

Abba,

The woman holding on to the Fringe of Your Son's Robe, had all Your attention.

We place ourselves at the Feet of Jesus.

The Storm is raging. We sometimes feel, seeing people suffer across the Nation,

that You might be asleep in the Boat. "Father God, we are perishing, please find the calm and hope of

this Nation as a desired Haven again."

We know You are working. The storm will yield.

Dwell in us and the people we Love.

Help us to see You First.

We give many thanks for the people who calm the waters to provide us

safety, calm, the framework You'd Bless us with to discover

Joy in Life.

You are The Good Father asking us

to Love ourselves. To have a Spirit of Power.

To Love others.

Abundant Love flowing down. Soaking us all

His Living Water flows.

Opening our doors with expectation of Your Continued Goodness,

Jesus Christ.

We pray for the safety of

our Schools to be a safe, good,

warm place for the Children

Children need their Schools.

We ask for all the re-openings

Finding Your Blessing and Word of Love.

The Silent Minute was an historic movement begun in the United Kingdom by Major Wellesley Tudor Pole O.B.E. in 1940. 

It continues today as a London-based charity. 

During the Second World War people would unite in meditation, prayer or focus (each according to their own belief) and consciously will for peace to prevail. 

This dedicated minute received the direct support of King George VI, Sir Winston Churchill and his Parliamentary Cabinet. Also recognized by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and observed on land and at sea on the battlefields, in air raid shelters and in hospitals. 

With Churchill’s support, the BBC, started on Sunday, November 10, 1940

Matthew 22:34-40 ~ Depend

Matthew 22:34-40 

When the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 

35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 

37 And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend on all the Law and the Prophets.”

When we think of Jesus fighting the Good Fight every day of His Ministry, we can picture in our minds, Jesus is busy doing the Work Father God brings Him.

Jesus was tested almost every day. 

Jesus taught us we can do all things with God, the exact nature of God. Our Jesus Christ moved forward Loving others as Himself. The Joy of the Lord is the Strength of Jesus.

He wasn't all works. 

Jesus was Heart, He loved the Children of God and wants to save the entire world.

We absolutely know Jesus shows compassion and wept. 

However, Jesus was never knocked down by the perpetual criticism. Jesus is never recorded in the human reaction of searching His Mind to make sure He was where He should be. Jesus moved forward in Love and Mercy. Healing All as God says He wants to do.

Jesus fully believed He was God's Son. And in the footsteps of Jesus, He anticipates we love ourselves

Because He Loves us as His Own.

We can draw strength from God. He says continue in Mutual Affection. This leads to Love.

This medieval ring was chosen to be plain on the outside. 

And hold deeply in us, all that Jesus is within us. 

Hebrews 11:6 

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, 

for whoever would draw near to God 

must believe 

that He exists and 

That He rewards those who seek him.

Romans 8:11

 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, 

He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies

 Through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Abba, Holy God our Father,

We have had overwhelming new items to think upon. It's almost in the Science Fiction area.

In Pandemic, we have seen families change shape - our most trusted patterns where we rely on each other and are fueled in "Love Ourselves". And some families have suffered deep losses.

Employment creates a framework for our lives, we have faced overwhelming news.

Grocery shopping and errands became much more complex with changing news 

On the avalanche of medical information.

Governors and Governments have given us comforts and consternation.  A trusted function, often unseen was brought to even our privately made decisions every day. Friction resulted.  Parts of this concrete portion of life in our States, as we all cared for all States collectively.  Puzzling and profound shock and disappointments touching on the basic belief 

We have felt such comfort all our lives in the basic need for safety.

Never did we believe our right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness would be infringed.

Never did we believe that the USA as a whole would not quarantine and peacefully assemble.

We have seen the Media ridiculed time and again in actual Peaceful Protests for the willingness to only preach agenda. We have seen news stations burned to the ground and found disbelief. Add Police Departments to this.

We had never considered isolation and boredom to make conversations run to bare minimums not to shock and overwhelm each other. People who have never felt a day of loneliness in their lives have been witnessed to weep.

Our trusted Police Departments showed flaws in upmost time we needed their discretion.

And then we expected loyalty from each other to the history of our safety to the Police.

Our horror in Police assassinations and the recovery of the suspects. 

The disgust on attacks on innocent civilians by unruly mobs.

We've seen Presidents ridiculed for more than a decade during the Clinton Administration

For the less that sacrosanct treatment of the White House, the People's House. And found 66 Secret Service Agents were harmed. The People's Property was roped and harmed. We saw wanton disregard for our collective Heritage and the misinformation of the peaceful right to assemble. Those elected to hold Domestic Tranquility hoped the agitators wouldn't be harmed pulling down public property. One of the two Parties didn't even mention the violence in their Conventions for any mention.

We were all shocked to find the Highest Government in the Congress was empty, or silent, disinformation, and without timely and helpful commentary which became argumentative, misinformation criticism.

As a Nation, we have assembled meals, wanted Schools reopened and pulled together for the safety

And all concerns for our Nation's children during this unprecedented time. 

Thanking You the Virus does not target the very young.

And then finding we faced an incredible number of Hurricanes

 Threatening the Southern and Eastern States. Adding to this the horrific sight of Orange Skies and Millions of Acres on Fire in the Northwestern States as anarchy was shockingly displayed to bystanders who were innocent. And a massive number of Californians on the beach asking You for Your Mercy. As their entire state continued to be closed.

We could throw in brown outs for electricity, asteroids and UFOs. Father, we would sincerely thank You we see no reports on Killer Hornet.

Father, You are Working.

We function in Straight Paths. And in watching You Fight the Good Fight, we find our Comfort, Help and Strength. To live in affection and Love brings us faith, hope and Love.

You are The Good Father asking us

to Love ourselves. To have a Spirit of Power.

To Love others.

Comforted and Strengthened we will find Solutions

And Greater Joys.

Abundant Love flowing down. Soaking us all

His Living Water flows.

Opening our doors with expectation of Your Continued Goodness

in ourselves, in the ones we Love,

Jesus Christ in the people You bring us.

We pray for the safety of

Psalm 121

My Help Comes from the Lord ~ A Song of Ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills.

From where does my help come?

2 My help comes from the Lord,

who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot be moved;

he who keeps you will not slumber.

4 Behold, he who keeps Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is your keeper;

the Lord is your shade on your right hand.

6 The sun shall not strike you by day,

nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all evil;

he will keep your life.

8 The Lord will keep

your going out and your coming in

from this time forth and forevermore.

We seem to be in angry upset accusation news time again. All sides accuse one another of being liars. Shrieking distrust and lies.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

Psalm 24: 1 

The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; 

the world, and they that dwell therein. 

When God spoke to us and told us His Earth was Good. Genesis 1 and 2 explains God spoke the Word, "Good", 11 times.  And God was so concerned about goodness, God continued His Discussion of Goodness.

When God speaks, this is important. God speaks of yesterday, today and tomorrow. We are told we can find Heaven on earth. God encourages us to put our eyes on what is Good. John spoke of His Life and John's life when John announced God is the Light of mankind. We are, this year, very much seeing and understanding Covid stresses and the actual BBC photographs of what the Covid stressed brain looks like. We know Covid impacts the brain's ability to smell and hear. 

Chill out.

This is a good time to be merciful, even to the news screaming Lies and Distrust. We prove again, our source of Hope is God. And we take up the Book of Proverbs and find wisdom. 

We can find Peace.

Oxford University. The University of Oxford has no known foundation date. Teaching at Oxford existed as early as 1096, but the start date is unclear. Oxford University is 200 years older than the Aztecs, 300 years older than Machu Picchu, and 150 years older than Easter Island heads. And if our source is God Himself, we will not fear. We may have times we have concern, we just won't live in fear. We will use what God has provided to find a Spirit of Power. 

Romans 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, 

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

 that by testing

you may discern what is the will of God, 

what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Would we truly be fearful of a Covid-19 Vaccine? 

Do we really believe this team of medical researchers would provide harm?

The widely available vaccine date is, most probably, in April. Do we really need a fearmongering campaign around public health? I would reject declaration of lies and prompt our own fact finding.

And find peace.

1 Peter 3:11

Turn from evil and do good.

Seek Peace and 

Pursue it.

If you are facing being fear mongered - don't listen. Just turn it off.

1 Peter 2:15

This is the will of God, that by doing good 

you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.

Abba, Father God,

Dwell in us.

Dwell in those we Love.

Dwell in the 80% of American's who pray daily,

Dwell in the 92% of Americans who believe Jesus is Lord.

Dwell in the Believers of Today

and Dwell in the Believers of Tomorrow.

Rejoice in how many believe God is Hearing them

with Love and Joy

in their Prayers.

Comfort ALL of Your Good Creation.

Dwell in us All as the Light of mankind.

Strengthen us each day to have more to report of the news of our own lives,

in this time of recovery.

Strengthen what is Needing You, we have seen as Strong

and would Strengthen again.

Encourage what is Good.

Temper down what is not Excellent.

Encourage us to find and utilize the tools You have provided daily

within us

and in this Good Creation.

In the Love of Jesus Christ,

want to be

and find

our Souls have Your Joy.

Help us Seek You First.

2 Peter 1

And to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance;

and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, 

brotherly kindness;

Love.

For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them,

they will keep you from being ineffective

and unproductive

in your knowledge

of our Lord Jesus Christ.
