Matthew 25:38a-40 ~ you did to Me

Last year, the waters of Venice were clear.

Matthew 25:38a-40

‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38
And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did
to one of the least of these my brothers,
you did it to me.’

Last Year, the Major Cities Worldwide were clear.

Denver had the Rocky Mountains in Clear View well into the fall.

Southern California was so clear, Cali was shining.

This year, we face some clear facts:

The Covid Delta Variant is highly contagious.

95% of those Hospitalized with Covid are unvaccinated.

1 in 100,000 people hospitalized with Delta Variant with with with a vaccination will die.

Save Children.
Children's Pediatric Hospitals are seeing an ever-increasing rise, exponentially, in Children with Covid Delta Variant. The Pediatric Hospitals are worried. Worried. All around the USA, Pediatric Hospitals are being stock piled.

Inspire the world. Save your family. Save your friend's families.

Pediatric Hospitals:

Clearly. There is a great opportunity. We can buy the World a Coke.

The Data has been examined worldwide.
Never before have so many nations reached out to one another to share information medically. A year more of information.

We put our Trust in Jesus to save lives.

The Nation was moved like during the World Wars to find medical help. The White House was our daily briefing. The USA shared medical information and ventilators. France has flown vast quantities of Oxygen to India.

We can be vaccinated. Adults vaccinated slow the spread. And share our love Jesus puts in us for one another. Opportunity. We have an opportunity. The People we care about to be vaccinated. Speak Life.

Why? You are preventing the spread of Covid Delta Variant:

Life. To Children, to susceptible minorities, to your grandparents and your friend's children and grandparents.  You are saving your friends. Your co-worker, your co-worker's family. Stop the spread
be vaccinated. Ask the people you care for to be vaccinated.

Speak Life!

Worldwide Speak Life! We Pray Earnestly.

May the words of my mouth
and the thoughts of my heart
be pleasing
and acceptable to You, Lord God.
Jesus, Son of God, Savior,
The God of Encouragement
God of Love
Amen

Matthew 6:7-15 ~ Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

Cedar of Lebanon

Matthew 6:7-15

“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed [holy] be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Some manuscripts add from John's 1st Chapter in Revelation:

For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen

I pray this Lord's Prayer a lot.

Edward asked me in 1994 to become Catholic with him. I was very, very surprised after taking the class to become a Catholic, in 1994, after my first confession - we were assigned to sit in Church, be reflectively meditative, on the cross, and say the Lord's Prayer as the realignment in forgiveness. Yet, these are the words of Jesus. Holy Words. Words given to us as part of the gift of forgiveness.

I say these words even when I'm angry and unforgiving. Rick Warren and, his brother-in-law, Tom Holladay discussed forgiveness, "In 40 Days of Love." Forgiveness gives up the right to hurt someone. Forgiveness gives up the right to slander someone.

The Topics
Session One: Love Matters Most
Session Two: Love is Patient, Love is Kind
Session Three: Love Speaks the Truth
Session Four: Love is Forgiving
Session Five: Love is not Selfish
Session Six: The Habits of a Loving Heart

We can provoke one another to unforgiveness. This behavior can spiral down to sadism. Relationships can become toxic. We are not in God's grace to accept the unacceptable. There is a very sound reason Jesus spoke these words.

Matthew 18:21-23

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. (Or seventy times seven)

23 “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.

God could have said forgive endlessly. He did not.

Genesis 4:24
If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times."

We could quibble over 77 or 490, missing the Spirit.

Rick Warren spoke in the DVD about forgiveness hurting the deepest in divorce. He said forgiveness doesn't require a reconciliation. Forgiveness requires giving up the right to be grief-stricken and reconstruct the hurt. Forgiveness is the releasing of judgmental anger. This does not require forgetting, just letting go of the desire to hurt and be hurt. Rick Warren refers to wisdom as learning - the actions of the person are like the fruit identifying the tree. We learn what type of person we deal with. Forgiveness does not require the loss of wisdom.

Proverbs 16:20-24
20 Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good,
and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.

21 The wise of heart is called discerning,
and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness.

22 Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it,
but the instruction of fools is folly.

23 The heart of the wise makes his speech judicious
and adds persuasiveness to his lips.

24 Gracious words are like a honeycomb,
sweetness to the soul and health to the body

Add to the joys of forgiveness - this:
Picking up on discovering good, blessed by trusting the LORD. Being discerning.

Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

We should give ourselves credit, like the Father running to his prodigal son - when we forgive with our mouths and brain, and allowing for the forgiveness fulling our hearts to be - the tree of life.  Certainly, we are given grace to give complete forgiveness all at once. Sometimes the completion of forgiveness is a process.

The evil one would say - you just aren't forgiving, you don't have peace, you are a fake, they robably don't deserve forgiveness. Instead, lean on HIM and say, "Father, please. Help that forgiveness be the tree of life from You."

 Matthew 13:32
It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come
and make nests in its branches

Tule tree, Mexico - the tree is really that large.

Mark 8:22-33 ~ Again

Mark 8:22-33

22 And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?” 24 And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking.”

25 Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 And He sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”

27 And Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi.

And on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” 28 And they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.”

29 And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?”

Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.”

30 And he strictly charged them to tell no one about him.

31 And he began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32 And he said this plainly.

And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. 33 But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan!  For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

Jesus has a day that repeated.

He dealt with a blind man, who needed to see. And Jesus spent time holding the blind man's hand. Helping him to see. And the blind man tells Jesus, in many layers, he worries about mankind. The blind man  worries mankind is important and tall as trees, looming, largely in his life. Jesus probably kindly joking, and seriously, tells him to stay out of the Village. Bethsaida is filled with woes and doubts. Jesus called Bethsaida unbelieving.

Peter gives the mirror image of this behavior. Jesus is saying discomfort arrives as the Gift of Forgiveness is given. We have to Believe God to know we are forgiven. We have to trust God's Plan.

Jesus was holding Peter's hand a lot. And like the Brothers of Jesus,
Jesus knew, believed, saw these flawed individuals worthy even
as they struggled. We all struggle.
Even the man who would be given the Keys to Heaven
and is called the First Pope.

We accept God's Plan. We argue with God in prayer.

Abraham argued with God. And won life for a village, sinners. Abraham told God, I know You are Fair and Just. I, personally, believe if Abraham had argued for Isaac not to be killed, but only by God's hand or Word, we would have seen something we understood better.  Abraham didn't argue with God as Almighty. Abraham didn't fall into God's Mercy.

David argued with God over the census David unwisely took. David placed himself in God's hands and asked God to direct His Anger at David. Abraham could have done this. David always, always, always believed in the Mercy and Steadfast Love of God and His Word.

Jacob argued with God's Plan. His hip didn't do so well. Jacob gloated, not to let Go of God's Messenger.

Luke 18:9-14

9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: 10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed[a] thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’

13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees. Elijah asked for rain, 7 times. He was persistent.

Jairus persisted for his daughter.

Paul prayed for a physical ailment and only asked 3 times. And knew he was to stop.

Jesus said even if you believe God deals like an unjust Judge, continue to always pray with Hope.

Which circumstance for our prayers today?

How to ask, how to stop, how to decide?

1 Samuel 1:10
In her bitter distress, Hannah prayed to the LORD and wept with many tears.

Job 21:25
Yet another man dies in the bitterness of his soul, having never tasted prosperity.

Proverbs 15:13
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Proverbs 14:10
Brenton Septuagint Translation
If a man's mind is intelligent, his soul is sorrowful; and when he rejoices, he has no fellowship with pride.

Contemporary English Version
No one else can really know how sad or happy you are.

Douay-Rheims Bible
The heart that knoweth the bitterness of his own soul, in his joy the stranger shall not intermeddle.

Jesus said even if you believe God deals like an unjust Judge,
continue to always pray with Hope.

Yet don't pray like Jacob as a Pharisee of entitlement.
When the Lord says let go, then do so.
Wait upon Jesus.

David prayed intently for his infant son to live. The child died. David knew to let go.
David had a much harder time to let go of his son Absalom. And David hurt his life and the life
of his family and people.

Wait on Jesus to know.

    Matthew 20:29–34; Mark 10:46–52; Luke 18:35–43; Matthew 9:27–31

Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
29 And as they went out of Jericho, a great crowd followed him. 30 And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord,1 have mercy on us, Son of David!” 31 The crowd rebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” 32 And stopping, Jesus called them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?” 33 They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” 34 And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him.

Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus
46 And they came to Jericho. And as he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a great crowd, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” And they called the blind man, saying to him,“Take heart. Get up; he is calling you.” 50 And throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Rabbi, let me recover my sight.” 52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way;  your faith has  made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

Jesus Heals a Blind Beggar
35 As he drew near to Jericho, ta blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. 36 And hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what this meant. 37 They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” 38 And he cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 39 And those who were in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 40 And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me recover my sight.” 42 And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43 And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him,  glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
27 And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about it.” 31 But they went away and spread his fame through all that district.

Abba, Father,

In Jesus Christ, we will never give up.

Jesus the God of ALL.
Jesus, we pray Life and healing
Joy and Love in Harby and their children.

Jesus, God of Encouragement.
Jesus, Hope and Future.
Jesus the Lord
saves the world
Amen.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
