Revelation 1 ~ God gave Him

Revelation 1

1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants
the things that must soon take place.

He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.

The Word of God tells us Heaven has clouds.

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood 6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation, finding the inner dimension, God dwelling with us. Eternity we can see and feel. Life Abundantly forever.

9 I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11 saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, 15 his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead.

But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.

19 Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this. 20 As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Luke 10: 20
Rejoice that your names are written in Heaven

Jesus was telling His Disciples in Luke 10, He was giving His Father a New Heaven by His Sacrifice.

We know Jesus is Living Water. Heaven's Throne, the Kingdom of Jesus and His Glory has shining water.

Jesus is the Door, John 10

John 10:7
So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep."

The Door. John's Dimension faded into Heaven
as many who have had near-death experiences. The walls were gone.

I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.  10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet

 Revelation 1:8

The Names and Titles of Jesus tell us about the Kingdom of God. Jesus, the Highest Name God Has Given.  We can find in Revelation an example of all the Names of Jesus.
The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of God's Son, Jesus Christ.
Because we can find Jesus in Heaven, we should also, each day, find the Heaven God had giving us on earth. His mercies renew daily.

Abba, Father God,

Help us to always Love You and take our Daily Mercies and build upon Your Love. Not forgetting our truths in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Mark 1
43 And Jesus sternly charged him and sent him away at once, 44 and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a proof to them.” 45 But he went out and began to talk freely about it, and to spread the news, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but was out in desolate places, and people were coming to him from every quarter.

Let us take our Emmaus road and create worship and love for Jesus. Having Jesus be pleased living in our souls, hearts, minds and life.

Truly, we pray, in times of putting ourselves closely to Jesus, let us go into the place of our heart, close off the noise

Love sincerely, clinging to our Jesus in Goodness. Be devoted to the thoughts of God's Love, and offer Him the prayers and desires of our heart. We pray to You, our Abba.

You are Loving us so dearly, we make sure in calling You Daddy, You and I know I'm speaking to You Heavenly Father. Father, You know the desires of our heart, You see. El Roi. Let us please You and live in Your Hope and Your Plan.

Taking the Highest Name of Jesus, placing this with Light and Love to lead, guide, strengthen, encourage, embolden, warm and support those we Love all their days to Your Heavenly Kingdom. To live in Peace, Love and Joy seeking and finding Your Kingdom.

Thank You, Jesus, Thank You, Abba, Thank You, Holy Spirit.  Thank You.

Your Blessings on my loved ones.

Placing Jesus in our endeavors, our Churches, our friends and neighbors, sweeping our Nation and the Nations of Your Good Creation coming to the Brightness of Your Only Son.

Jesus our Refuge. Amen.

Psalm 8 ~ the work of Your fingers

Psalm 8

A Psalm of David.

1 LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory in the heavens.

2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies,  to silence the foe and the avenger.

3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

4 What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?

5 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.

6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:
7 all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, 8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

9 LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom.

The Prodigal Son is our Story.
God has put in His Plan for our Hope and Future. The ability to be exactly who we are to show God what we will do with the Talents He has given us. What we will do with - today.

I was looking at the Post from 2019. Thanksgiving Remembrance.
Last week I was up early with our old Jackson dog calling for attention for being elderly. The sunrise was both beautiful and ordinary. Life was exciting to see the sun come up. To be enjoying the beauty of a new day. For the old dog to still be lumbering along and equally enjoying the new morning and the beautiful and ordinary sunrise. Breakfast would be with those I love. God's Mercy was spiritual, physical and emotionally Renewing.

I was reminded to take hold of each moment of Beauty and Glory. The rest of the day was tremendous rain, but I'd seen an hour of beautiful sun rising up. And the rain was welcomed as freezing temperatures would be arriving during the week. The rain bolstering the Wonderous Pine Forest of the Gulf of Mexico stretching from East Texas to the Atlantic shores of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

And all of this is an analogy for being grateful for what God is doing in our lives. And with Gratitude having Thanksgiving pour into us to be reminded of the Larger Picture and Plan God has for us. In our beautiful and ordinary moments.

Today we went to Dallas. We arrived in Dallas to move my mother's things from her Care Facility to her home. And the truck rental place had lost the reservation.  To the next place, same situation.  Let's say that upset was a kind word for Edward, he felt it would be better not to be where Mother died and unloading her things, when we did this in July for her to have a better view and upgraded her room. Pleasing the living is one thing, being where she died was another. Sorrowful.

I was tempted to have what we all might call marital discord, but I had to agree with Edward. This was going to be bleak. Unhappy. Making Memories. Sad. Unpleasant. Pretty wretched really. If Edward was upset, he was only acting out how I knew I felt.

We really enjoy and like the man who has worked with my mother in her invalid years to help us keep her home up from 2016-March of 2021. He was already waiting for us at her Care Facility. Let's say the hamburger, to rethink this move, was in midtown Dallas and the patio weather is why Texas is grand. Our friend Bruce is going to move her for us. We are getting to, only arrive at her house, on the 3rd move of my mother's. Our 4th moving truck in 7 months. November is really Thanksgiving.

Father God has given us this tremendous freedom every day to find Gratitude.

Gratitude holds no regrets. And is fuel for the day. Some days take up to an hour to find genuine gratitude. The days we search for what God could say, are more meaningful.  A recent Sunday, I turned on the radio and the song was saying Jesus had Joy.  I thought, why would Jesus have joy today, my mom is passing away today. I sat and listened and thought. The next song sang, "He makes all things New." My mother is being made new. To know the Hills and Highways of Heaven. The last ten years with Mother being so ill with Alzheimer's is washed, and remembering the good years with understanding life better is a path for a good tomorrow.

Our Abba, Father,

You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them.

You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.

You are God of all grace, calling us to Your glory in Christ eternal.

You will, Yourself, restore us and make us strong, firm and steadfast.
Renewing us daily.

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, You are for us.
Cover us, the ones we Love and You Love with the Strong Name of Jesus.
Dwell in us.

Help us to seek You first
and finish well.

Covering all of us, the world, Your Good Creation, You want to save in Jesus Christ.
Knowing we are very Blessed in Jesus.

Being blessed, knowing all the world prays for more of Your Heaven on earth. Amen in the Highest Name of Jesus Christ.

Hosea 1:10-11 ~ Children of the Living God

Hosea 1:10-11

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And in the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, “Children of the Living God.”

11 And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint for themselves one head. And they shall go up from the land, for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

The Jezreel Valley traveled between Nazareth and Bethlehem to the Birth of Jesus Christ.

The Children of God would meet the exact nature of God in Jesus Christ.

Hosea was encountering Life offering promise and delivering life with troubles to overcome. Hosea was realizing God was moving during His delight in looking into the hearts of mankind.

Today at Church, we talked about Christmas. This 2021 Christmas might be the year to call on our generosity and make this a unique year.  An out of the ordinary year, with unique gifts of time and talent. Making unique memories to gift unusually.

This may be the year Christmas is about memories, expectations, handmade gifts, photos framed and hobbies encouraged.

Christmas can be the Gift of Life: Baptism. Giving Life.

Christmas can be a journal, filled with all the family memories and given. Christmas can be Christmas cookies made and shared.  For several years after my Grandmother Bit died, we gave her favorite foods in a Food Bank Gift Bag.

And Christmas might be giving at Church to families and foster families. To spread Love in the out-of-the-way places for Christmas.

One of our favorite things is visiting the larger Christmas trees with our own Coffee or Hot Chocolate. And one of our Church family goes to all the Christmas festivities in all the local Churches, going into the larger City. Christmas walking to see Christmas lights.

Deuteronomy 7:9
He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations.

Imagine the intricate Planning of the Book of Life.

Fully leading to Ephesians 3 - where families live on earth and in Heaven.

Psalm 147:3-5

He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
He determines the number of the stars;
he gives to all of them their names.
Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
his understanding is beyond measure.

Romans 8:28
For God causes all things to work together for good
for those who Love the Lord
and work according to His Purpose.

Isaiah 45:2
I have made you, and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and rescue you.

Philippians 1:6
He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.

Psalm 91:14
Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him.
I will protect him because he knows my name.

Lamentations 3:21-23

Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this:

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
 His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Isaiah 66:9
I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born.

Let all the Holy Days begin, newly made!

Abba, Father God,

Jesus has told us in Your Word, You are His Father and Our Father. Thank You.

When two or more are gathered, You are there. When we call on Jesus, He is there.

And in John's Gospel Chapters 16 and 17, Jesus prays for us. When we seek You, Father God and Call upon Jesus - we always pray together.

Father Dwell in us
and help us to be delightful to you.
Bless those we Love with Your Love in their lives.
Help us to seek You first
and we will finish well!

Finding more Heaven on earth.

Luke wrote of the prophets being long ago, You are as Vast as the Heavens and a Day to you is Thousands of Years. You are yesterday, today and tomorrow.

We turn again, to rejoice our heart, times of refreshing may come from the presence of You.

Christmas memories of what we would miss, will begin again. Eternity.

Continued healing.

We lift up the people we love, the people You have given to us with Love and the Nations and world who call upon You. Knowing in the Power of Your Word, we are upheld.

 In Jesus the Lord. Amen.

Matthew 12 ~ The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand"

The Cathedral of Basil the Blessed

Matthew 12

35 While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, “Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David? 36 David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared:

“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
until I put your enemies
under your feet.”’

37 David himself calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?”

The large crowd listened to him with delight.

Luke 2:52
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

The real Jesus has personality, Joy in Healing and delights in His People. Jesus shows us His Nature.

This is why Large Crowds saw Jesus raise the son of the Widow of Nain - her despair and need were the basis of the Multitudes of Believers storming into the Temple when Jesus was found to be Alive. Their Witness. The need only for Joy - when Jesus raised a leader of the Synagogue's daughter - privately.  Jesus didn't need the political pull - this was for this man's pain and his request to Jesus.

Not all the hearers of Jesus delighted in him. Jesus was known to see right into a Person and be able to tell us exactly what was what. Jesus is the Light of the World. And He is Truth with Grace upon Grace!

Here is an evangelical challenge  -What if you had to preach to Ivan the Terrible?

A Very Important and Striking aspect of Evangelism is this
- What about God do we Love?
This is Exactly how we convey Jesus the Lord to the ones we Love. The Gospel is received with Love in our Souls.

An aspect of God appealing to Ivan was Truth and was a Love for the People. Ivan wanted people not to be afraid of him. Basil was honest - Loving - bold.

Known as the Cathedral of Basil the Blessed, a Russian Orthodox Cathedral, it is the geometric center of Moscow since the 14th century. Built by Ivan IV (Ivan the Terrible), it contains eight side churches arranged around the ninth, the tenth church was erected in 1588 over the grave of venerated Basil - Fool for Christ. Basil lived:

Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD,
he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.

Basil was an apprentice shoemaker in Moscow, but became a shoplifter. He gave to the poor to shame the miserly and help those in need. He rebuked Ivan the Terrible for not paying attention in church, and for his violent behavior towards the innocent.

Most of the time, admonishing anyone with name "the Terrible" wasn’t such a good idea, but apparently Ivan had a soft spot for the holy fool (as Basil was also known) and ordered a Church to be built in his name after Basil died. When Basil died on August 2, 1557,
Ivan the Terrible himself acted as pallbearer and carried his coffin to the cemetery.

Ivan appreciated being boldly told to be merciful and be a servant of Christ Jesus. Ivan appreciated Basil for living Basil's mercy, admonition and Love.

Basil - MUST have met with timing only sent by the Lord Father God Almighty, because the rest of Ivan the Terrible's reign was marked by a violent spiral downward. Basil's life was remembered as a servant of Jesus Christ and inspired many, including Ivan the Terrible's son.

What would have inspired a man to take on Ivan the Terrible?

Ivan had a Terrible Childhood. To read the summaries of Ivan's life is to disregard the full instruction of a man struggling to do the right thing in the 15th century. The rules were different. Ivan actually had a first wife the summaries disregard. Ivan judged her to be insane and weirdly judgmental - instead of killing her or putting her in a terrible mental institution - he had her put in a nunnery where he figured she had a chance.

Ivan traveled to France after one of the wars ended and he met young Charles IX of France. He saw how suppressed Charles IX was by his mother as regent. He lifted the young king in his arms and strolled out of the Court to explain to Charles, like Russia, France must offer hope and jobs and a way just for the people of the land. He was quite kind to the king and felt real empathy for him. Catherine the Great modeled some of her governmental ideas of trying to bring prosperity to the people based upon this man.

Basil did not just renounce Ivan as a Person.
Basil saw the chance of goodness in Ivan.
Basil, because of his Love, felt like there was a chance to reach Ivan.
Basil was seeing the good in Ivan. With Love.

Basil's life, giving to the poor, may have inspired the legends of Robin Hood 100 to 200 years later. Ivan the Terrible's son, Feodor commissioned more towers to be built, 30 years later, around Basil's grave and the Cathedral that became known as Basil's Cathedral.

Father God, teach us daily to speak the aspects of God into the hearts of the ones we Love.

Help us to remember all the time -Jesus is God's Living Word. Today, Jesus our God is Living and active bringing wonders to us. I had a bad dream and the phone made a sweet noise and I realized my dream was silly. Thank You for Your mercy God. Jesus brings us life and light.

Father God talkers of God just talk. When we show, today, exactly like the Early Church - the salvation of God is truly Love we have aspects to reveal in our actions. You have said "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Matthew 7:21

"An expert in the law stood up to test Him, saying, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?""What is written in the law?" He asked him. "How do you read it?"He answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself."You've answered correctly," He told him. "Do this and you will live."- Luke 10: 25-28

Jesus tells us loving kindness reveals Salvation.

"I have not come to condemn the world, but to save it." John 3:17 Jesus has Bold Words.

"Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more."- John 8:11 Jesus conveys Himself as God.

Father God, We are supposed to sacrifice ourselves like Queen Victoria picked up her finger bowl and drank as her guest did. God says He honors mercy over religious sacrifice. We speak words of blessings for those You disagree with the most.

Ephesians 3:12 Jesus, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. Jesus LIVES!

2 Corinthians 3:12 Since we have such a hope, we are very bold

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness

Abba,We will Gather, Father

We will be filled with the Holy Spirit and pray for appropriate boldness of the Early Church's Love.

We ask Your Blessing for Our Freedom of Speech and we ask for Jesus to Live Giving Truth and Grace upon Grace.  Lord Please Bless Our Nation.

We pray that All Churches open the doors every single day to open in Worship and Food and Fellowship as the Book of Acts suggests. When Jesus blesses fish and bread because He does - if we open the Doors of the Church every single day expecting God - He Will Be There.
We pray the opportunity to bring one Person to Church this year
and that they meet the Living God for the first time.

We have no verse we can point to telling us to Judge someone for God. Father God grow the hearts of those we Love to say: Lord God, You Love Me. Thank You. In Jesus, we Rejoice.

The Nation who relies upon God - will not be disappointed.

Jesus Saves. Amen.

Jesus the God of ALL.
Jesus, we pray Life and healing
Joy and Love in Harby and their children.

Jesus, God of Encouragement.
Jesus, Hope and Future.
Jesus the Lord
saves the world
Amen.

Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
