Mark 16:9-15
†
9
When He had risen,
early on the first day of the week,
He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.
10She went and told His companions who were mourning and weeping.11When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her,
they did not believe.
12After this
He appeared in another form to two of them walking along
on their way to the country.
13They returned and told the others; but they did not believe them either.14Later, as the eleven were at table, He appeared to them
and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart
because they had not believed
those who saw Him after He had been raised.
15He said to them,
"Go into the whole world
and proclaim
the gospel
to
every creature."
Jesus is. Bold. And He does tell the Disciples they have unbelief and hardness of heart. Jesus spends 40 days with 500. And He does want to talk to the Disciples, privately, about their faith and kindness. Another great reason to look to Jesus and not mankind.
The one who knows hearts is Jesus. And He has chosen these people to be His. And He finds in them open hearts with love. Because of the relationship, Jesus feels free to address them as if man to man. Relationship. Love. Kindness.
Jesus Christ worthy of Love and Adoration. Salvation to the earth in our Father's plan.
Alleluia!
Psalm 130 ~ depths †
Psalm 130
†
A Song of Ascents.
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord!
2O Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
3If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness,
that you may be feared.
5I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
6 my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
7O Israel, hope in the Lord!
For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption.
8 And he will redeem Israel
from
all his iniquities.
f we look at Mary, the Mother of God, with Psalm 130 we find more of her life.
Why? Catholics and Protestants see Mary differently. Yes, Jesus absolutely refused to give Mary public adoration saying more blessed are they doing God's Will.
Yet, God Himself arranges the Scriptures and when we put them together, we see God has described Mary more than anyone else in New Testament Scriptures.
Someone sits at the Right Hand of God, beside Jesus. And this would be the woman, Mary, who saved and welcomed the preborn Jesus, collection of human cells, yet divine. And then looked for Jesus to save him as an early teen. Later, went before the huge crowd to bring Him home and make Him safe. All for Love. Right hand of God Himself.
And on Good Friday, Mary went before the great multitude described in Luke 23:27 to stay with Jesus every second she could see Him and help.
Mary shares something with the Faithful
today
we are waiting on the Lord
to move circumstances we have no power over.
We want to see God's Goodness Pour Forth.

The events of the world are vast
Isaiah 7 explains the timing of the arrival of the Messiah.
More vast than the learned theologians.
Mary's trip, vastly pregnant, 80 miles to the Bethlehem barn
was generated by the Lord.
And Caesar Augustus was put in power to bring financial gain, first through
the dependable revenue of tax from the far corners of the Empire,
far away from the powerful of Rome.
Isaiah 7 is on the move to fulfill in Jesus.
and in Nazareth, the most watchful of cities.
Nazareth has a unique aspect, built on a plateau
Nazareth had many watch towers.
In fact, the whole city could have watched the betrothed
and heavily pregnant Mary, travel for a long distance
with Joseph to
Bethlehem.
Today, we have something in common with Mary.
She was waiting to see what God would do with all He had Promised.
Times according to Isaiah 7, could be difficult
Mary's Song, The Magnificat explains.
Mary’s Magnificat
Luke 1:46-55
And Mary said,
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
For God has looked with favor
on the lowliness of the Almighty’s servant.
Surely, from now on
all
generations will call me blessed;
for the Mighty One has done great things for me
and
Holy is God’s name.
(Mary is among the first to know the Name of Jesus)
God’s mercy is for those who fear God
from generation to generation.
God has shown strength with God’s arm;
God has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts.
God has brought down the powerful from their thrones,
and
lifted up the lowly;
God has filled the hungry with good things,
and sent the rich away empty.
God has helped servant Israel,
in remembrance of
God’s mercy,
according to the promise God made
to our ancestors,
to Abraham and to his descendants
forever.

reaching to All of mankind. The Light spreading into the corners of all of life. Making a Way, Truth and Life. Politically, economically worldwide moving women and the ill creating new societies and filling all dimensions.

but of power,

For thus says the Lord:
Just as I have brought all this great disaster
upon this people,
so I will bring upon them
All
the good

Jeremiah 33:11
The voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord: “‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!’ For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.
Luke 2:10
And the angel said to them,
“Fear not,
for behold
I bring you good news
of great joy
that will be for
all the people.
