1 Samuel 2 ~ For the foundations of the earth are the Lord's

 Abba, Holy Father,

We pray with the Blessing of Hannah -

1 Samuel 2

1Then Hannah prayed and said:

“My heart rejoices in the Lord;
in the Lord my horn is lifted high.
My mouth boasts over my enemies,
for I delight in your deliverance.

2 “There is no one Holy like the Lord;
there is no one besides You;
there is no Rock like our God.

3 “Do not keep talking so proudly
or let your mouth speak such arrogance,
for the Lord is a God who knows,
and by Him deeds are weighed.

4 “The bows of the warriors are broken,
but those who stumbled are armed with strength.
5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food,
but those who were hungry are hungry no more.
She who was barren has borne seven children,
but she who has had many sons pines away.

6 “The Lord brings death and makes alive;
He brings down to the grave and raises up.

7 The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
He humbles and He exalts.

8 He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
He seats them with princes
and has them inherit a throne of honor.

“For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s;
on them
He has set the world.
9 He will guard the feet of His faithful servants,
but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness.

“It is not by strength that one prevails;
10 those who oppose the Lord will be broken.

The Most High will thunder from heaven;
the Lord will judge the ends of the earth.
“He will give strength to his king
and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

And in the Strength of our Abba,
we place ourselves, our cares,
our Loved ones
the people God has given us.

We pray our Lord's mercy upon the weather,
more rain and more cool fronts this coming August.

Our Nation, our communities,
our employments, our Schools, our Churches.

All the Nations trusting in Him
all the Beloved around the world - calling on Jesus
and for more of the Holy Spirit to bring
more Heaven filling our lives and upon His Good Creation.

Our God
who wants to fulfill His Will
to save
through Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Matthew 6 ~ your Father, Who sees

Secret Garden

Matthew 6

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

“Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name [
Let your name be kept holy, or Let your name be treated with reverence ]
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread [our bread for tomorrow],
12 and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

16 “And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, 23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life [single cubit to his stature; a cubit was about 18 inches? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Shofar Trumpet -God calls us to Him with a Trumpet

Josephus records the Temple Treasury being thirteen trumpet-like receptacles of brass. ("Ant." xix. 61, "B. J." v. 2, Jewish Encyclopedia) Shaped to prevent dishonest people from taking out coins while pretending to cast them in. The description of the trumpets being brass also means the correct Temple coinage - (available for exchange on the Temple grounds in Royal Stoa, or Portico, built by Herod) the coins made a noise going down the trumpet, perfect for showing off.

When Jesus told of going into the vast, wonderful Temple and seeing all the people - He saw the widow putting her coins into the Temple treasury. All she had. (Mark 12:35-44) Jesus saw the Religious Elite sitting in the best places, but He still saw and understood the widow's generosity.

When we combine the Mark 12 Gospel and the Matthew 6 chapter, we see again Jesus' eye saw further than we can hope to see. Jesus tells us of generosity in this passage, and in our priorities, but Jesus goes further than any observation, telling us more about God's willingness to bless.

God's righteousness doesn't dwell on shortcomings, but is upbeat.

Not gloomy.

God's eye blesses us with Light!

Psalm 139:17

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!

Psalm 33:11

But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of His Heart
through all generations.

Psalm 40:5

Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done.
The things you planned for us no one can recount to you;
were I to speak and tell of them,
 they would be too many to declare.

Abba, Father!

Oh, How You Love us!
Oh, How You Love me!

Matthew's Gospel, in his, His, 6th Gospel
explains Your Love
Your Hopes for us
A Hope and a Future,

Do not be gloomy,
Do not take on all of life and be gloomy.

Train our eyes to see:
whatever is true, whatever is honorable,
whatever is right,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is of good repute,
if there is any excellence
and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these.

Our prayers. Our works. Our words.
Our Hope. Our Future. Jesus
be in these hopes and prayers, we ask.

We pray with the weather, for gentle rain. God bless.

We are the Easter people.
God's New Covenant is Love for one another.

In the Highest
Name of Jesus.

We Pray Amen
with our Alleluia!

1 Peter 4:7-19 ~ in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ

1 Peter 4:7-19

7 The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

9 Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies

—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.

To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler.

16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And

“If the righteous is scarcely saved,
what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

19 Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

1 John 4:1

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Acts 5: 34

But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed them: "Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."

Today, we were discussing the dynamics of a group of people, feeling free to be themselves, bringing their Pandemic suffering to the group and the weight of a domino effect of anger, self-pity - sometimes deserved, denial, a struggle to remain status quo, entitlement and the lack of mercy to produce joy and hope for Love and happiness.

It's a time to be bold for righteousness, not adding in priggishness and judgment, and to be unrelenting in the goodness required for a true peace and shelter in love and goodness.

Fight the Good Fight to build up one another in the Lord, to encourage and remain true to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our salvation.

Luke 18:1

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them
that they should always pray
and not give up

For great is the glory of the Lord!

Abba, Father,

Blessed Be the Name of Jesus
and those who call upon Him

Blessed be those who have
their hope in You

Thank You for hearing our prayers
and answering us
as our Father.

In the Highest Name of
Jesus, Alleluia,
Amen

1 Timothy 1:1-11 ~ God our Savior, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope

Jesus Christ Our Lord, as painted by James Jacques Joseph Tissot (15 October 1836 – 8 August 1902) was a French painter who spent years in Palestine painting over 700 watercolors of Jesus. His paintings are known for detail and the emotion Jesus would have given. This looks to me to be the sincerity Jesus had for people and the Words He gave them.

1 Timothy 1:1-11

 ~ American King James Version

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Savior, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

2 To Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

3 As I sought you to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that you might charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

 6 From which some having swerved have turned aside to vain jangling; 7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for murderers, 10 For fornicators, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for enslavers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

11 According to the Glorious Gospel of the Blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Matthew 9:36

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Because God the Father loves you, Jesus Christ is your hope. His gospel is your trust. When we look for the sincerity of Jesus, we can follow some pretty basic things in the teachings we receive.

Micah 6:8

He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God

2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brothers, rejoice.
Aim for restoration,
comfort one another,
agree with one another,
live in peace;
and the God of love and peace
will be with you

The emotions of Jesus are so wonderful. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

Revelation 5:5

Mark 1:40-41

And a leper came to him, imploring Him,
and kneeling said to Him,
“If You will, You can make me clean.”

41 Moved with pity,
He stretched out His Hand and touched him and said to him,
“I will; be clean.”

Luke 7:13 The widow of Nain.

13 And when the Lord saw her,
 He had compassion on her and said to her,
“Do not weep.”

Matthew 20:34

34 And Jesus in pity touched their eyes,
and immediately they recovered their sight
and followed Him.

John 15:11

I have told you this so that my joy
may be in you
and that your joy
may be complete.

Numbers 6:26

The LORD lift up His smile upon you
and give you peace

Abba, Father,

We ask in the Highest Name of Jesus

O Father, our Lord God, bless us and keep us;

The Lord Father God Almighty make Your face to shine upon us
 and be gracious to us
and the ones we Love,

Shepherd of our Souls, Lord
Father lift Your smile upon us and give us peace.

We ask You to put Your name upon Your Beloved and Father God to will bless us. Amen.

 Abba, Father,

Dwell in us, please, Father.
Dwell in those we Love.
Help us to seek You first.
In Jesus Christ, we will finish well.

To see
to bring
to be
more daily
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
on earth
as in Heaven

In Jesus Christ is
Our Love, Joy and Hope.

Thank You for Jesus.

To You, our Father, be the Glory
Amen and Alleluia

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
