Edward has had 5 eye operations since December. 2 have failed, we are on the 3rd Retina. This time with oil and a sewn silicon band. Edward says it is like looking through a funhouse mirror. His eye squints, he uses every muscle in his body to clamp down and shut the eye. He looks like a Pirate. Last Sunday, we got to the Church parking lot and he couldn't. This Sunday, as I was dressed and ready to go, he threw himself on the bed and declared he was too dizzy to go. And he was.
I understood the first Sunday. But as the months go by and I take out the garbage and do the lifting. I am less than enjoying months of convalescence. With the next eye to be, pray to the Lord God Almighty, lazer surgery and easy.

My mother's magically and delicious inherent knowledge, Karma will prevail. God has His Hand in miracle solutions and the right seeking of God will win. Yes. This is throughout Scripture. What goes around comes around.
And is part of the Lord's Prayer asking our praying soul and full heart participation. Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done "on earth as it is in Heaven." To see more Heaven, to praise more of Heaven, to be more of Heaven, to bring more of Heaven. Each day.
If we need to understand how to forgive.
I was once so angry with my father's second wife. She had been seeking Daddy since I was in first grade and answered the phone. Go get your daddy and tell him a friend wants him to go to Honolulu. Daddy took the call in the bathroom. A first. And traveled off to Pascagoula to help Uncle Bob. And Cousin Bob said in 2005, this was a fable, he helped his father, without my father, in Hurricane Camille with 175 mph winds. Plus, come to find out the drawbridge story was interesting and not quite in the truthful category. When my father married her about 20 years later, she had been such a dear friend to my mom, so my mother thought. And my father died after a few years of marriage to this person. We found out she had done him in and not been at all helpful. She had worked to get his life insurance and all that. Daily, I was in the car trying not to be broiling angry. Taking care of my two little sons. Eventually, I would learn to pray Living Water cascading over my head. The coolness, the help, the comfort. I ceased to be broilingly angry after a year of suffering. My father had needed help and comfort with real direction.

Life went on with forgiveness. And much joy was had by all. She did not know or care if she was forgiven. Yet the letting go was part of the joy of God's Gifts.
This flamboyant woman who really sought Daddy, after her husband abandoned her house payments, for a younger one version. Would claim her work had taken prayer out of the public school system. Scriptures tell us, know the fruit from the tree to see the tree.

Pastor Rick Warren, was talking about forgiveness after divorce. Forgiveness is letting go of the desire to cause someone pain. The refusal to take up the sword. It does not eliminate the society should have peace option to end evil. Does not require evil to be sanitized by humans. Does not require a connection.
It does not require the last word. Does not take up witty insults regularly. Unless, helpfully instructive, of course! Learns to laugh instead of spending lunch ruminating on harm. Knows when to find better air and conditioning. And let's God have the majority of our problems.
Doesn't require forgiveness to be spontaneous to the point of being a liar. Allows us to know what we know and how to process this genuine forgiveness. When you break down the facts into letting God direct the events.
Allowing God to be God. Thank God.
One of the God aspects of Jesus, I so admire. God admired and loves Abraham. Abraham always wants to know what was going to happen to this person or that person and would argue for God to fix the situation. God admires Abraham for his curiosity and mercy. Impudent prayers. God Admires Dedication to Prayer. Even impudent prayer.
